Shellpaw listened to her mentor talk but didn't reply as she glanced over the water. At her question she lifted her nose in the air, taking in the scents from around her. There were so much more scents here than in camp, it was almost overwhelming. "I smell.. prey." She meowed, her green gaze shifting back to Parsleypatch. The apprentice couldn't quite point out what kind of prey but she recognized the scent from the freshkill pile.

Parsleypatch with Shellpaw "I used to come here alot. But now that I've bonded with some new cats in the clan I've come here less." Parselypatch said. She looked over the water and sighed happily. "So I said I'd help you to differentiate between smells put here. That's the first step to being able to hunt and patrol." She sniffed the air picking up scents of vole, mouse, and rabbit. There were also the scents of the green plants and all the forests. "What do you smell?" Palerose with Sandfeather Palerose nodded as Sandfeather said that her apprentice was great. "I would love to be a mentor but I'm pretty young still. I've got some growing to do before I'm prepared to teach someone so much." Sandfeather smirked at the she-cat, “I totally get it, one day you will be.” She mewed with a smile. As they were on the topic of apprentices, it made her wonder where Rainpaw had been. She had been very proud of the apprentice since the terrible fight with the rogues, and the apprentice has improved even since then. Sandfeather knew it would be soon that the apprentice wouldn’t be an apprentice anymore. |

Flamepaw at Clearing
After deciding she could risk getting up for some prey, Flamepaw exited the medicine den. However, to her horror, she saw her sister, Nightpaw across the clearing, eating with her friends. Nightpaw had been leaving her alone for the past moon, but that didn’t stop her paranoia. She felt tempted to go back into the medicine den until Nightpaw went away, but she saw her friends waving her over, (or whatever the cat equivalent of that is) so instead trotted over to the prey pile.
Nightpaw at Clearing
Nightpaw picked up a sparrow from the prey pile and took it back to her friends. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Flamepaw come shakily out of the medicine den. Seeing her sister’s terrified expression upon noticing her, she rolled her eyes and continued with the conversation she was having. Falconfrost had told her to ‘stop being so rude’ to her sister. She tried to explain that it was just teasing, but they wouldn’t take any explanations. Sighing, she took another bite of her almost completely demolished sparrow.

"Hey Flamepaw!" Rainpaw called out as she walks over to her clanmate. "How are you feeling?" She questioned. Rainpaw didn't know a lot about Flamepaw aside from knowing her sister and that she got sick a lot.
