(TO answer your question Jade, this was going to just be the rescue mission then there would be a final battle. However, due to everyone being pretty busy, this might just be the final showdown between Wolfstar and Gail. Maybe they were going to retreat until Gail nearly kills someone else. Still not sure though)

(Finals week is not for a few weeks for me but a lot of final projects are being completed last wee and this week. No idea what my classes plan for next week but eh. After the 13th im out out school for the summer but I will also be taking on a lot of work hours)

(Patrol order: 1 and 2 gets in close as possible to the camp to distract the rogues and lead them away/ambushing.
3. will rush in and 4 will try and sneak into the camp and find Eaglepaw. Hope that makes sense)

Parsleypatch walked towards the back of all the patrols as she was part of the patrol that was meant to find and rescue Eaglepaw. She hummed quietly to herself looking for the other couple of members on her patrol.
Palerose lay in camp wondering what the rescue patrols were doing now as they had left a but ago. She hoped that no one would get hurt. She thought about going to ask Sageflower if she and Owlpaw would need help treating wounds. She was a pretty young warrior herself but knew about getting treated for scratches with marigold and cobwebs. She decided she would going to find the Medicine cat.

Once they reached the border, Wolfstar halted the patrols and looked at everyone. "This is where we should get into our proper patrol order. Patrol 1 and 2 I want you to lead the way. We will be following some ways away. Once you are close enough you will begin your tasks. Once I think there is enough chaos my patrol will charge in and give them hell!"
Lightingwhisper glances at the others before deciding to lead the way. She couldn't help but feel excited. It was time to put her speed to the test. "I bet we will scare the mess out of them." She says in a whispered voice.
Skywhisker looked back at her brother Ashclaw giving him a quick nod before following the others. She hoped this would all go successfully.
Thorn had ended up dozing off.

Scorchtail nodded at Wolfstar's orders. He glanced over at Mudfoot, waiting for the deputy to take the lead of their patrol. He couldn't wait to get his claws into one of those rogues. After his father had been killed his bitterness towards them had only grown.

Pearmoon followed closely behind Lightningwhisker, her tail twitching behind her. She tried her best to keep the intrusive worries out of her head and focus on the task ahead. She hoped she could avoid having to fight.

(I'll just start and people can pop in and out whenever and the spaces in between could be lore bits)
Once they crossed the border, Lightingwhisper really begins to focus and makes sure to step lightly. One wrong move and this whole mission could go terribly. When they reached the rogues camp, she takes notice of a guard who appeared to be asleep. Skywhisker decides to wait as the second patrol moves to the side of the camp. Once they were in place Skywhisker turns her attention to Lightingwhisper. "Get as close as you can then yowl in his face! We will do the same after you start. Then get ready to run!"
Lightingwhisper nodded and carefully makes her way up to Thorn. She lightly paws at him before taking a deep breath and letting out a loud yowl. Thorn snaps awake only to be face to face with a Tempestclan cat! He leaps back in surprise before hearing more yowls. Without much of a thought, he dashes into the camp. "The clan cats are here!"

Silverleaf glanced to her clanmates as they drew closer to the camp, she felt her claws grip the soft dirt beneath them as she turned her gaze and stared ahead with a cold, calculating expression. They had to to be flawless in their execution of the rescue. She took a deep breath and exhaled, moving forward but being sure to stay far enough to prevent the rogues from noticing her, staying far behind the group they were paired with. She lifted her head as she moved to somewhat direct Oakpaw, making sure that the apprentice was being mindful of the direction of the wind as well. She looked to her group and nodded, signalling that she was ready to find the apprentice as soon as the opportunity strikes. Her gaze lingered on Screechfang for a moment, and she lowered her eyes as she spoke, “we will find him, just remember that getting him out of there is the priority.” She stated, a tinge of sympathy in her voice. StarClan only knows what had happened to the apprentice, but emotions could not be allowed to get in the way. She could understand that it may be difficult for the tom to simply gather Eaglepaw without being tempted to seek retribution for what has been done. She turned from him, “it will be nice to have him with us again.” She added quietly, her voice cold but the swish of her tail indicated that the words were genuine. Even if she felt that the clan should come before a single cat, she was determined to bring the tom home.

Sunny reared up his head, an expression of annoyance on his face as he slashed half-heartedly at the ground in front of him. He groaned before glancing to the small cat beside him, “colour me surprised.” He mewed, his voice dry despite the mixed smile on his face, neither comforting or sheepish, his expression was an enigma to even himself. He hated being caught off guard, and even more so when he was ready to enjoy a meal. He looked up and glanced at the clan cats, well their direction at least, it seemed like there weren’t many from what he could smell. He looked to Xenia, “I’m sure that there’s more of them.” He told her, recalling the assaults and territory battles in the twoleg place. Honour and pride were what clan cats claimed to have, but he doubted that they weren’t using clever tricks. Still, at the end of the day, as long as he was still alive, he didn’t care. Trick, no tricks, it didn’t matter. He looked back to Fluffy’s den but chose not to go, it wasn’t worth risking his hide. “Don’t go to Fluffy.” He mumbled to Xenia somewhat sternly, something that surprised him, but he said nothing more as he took a few more steps towards the centre of camp.

A couple of the cats snap to attention and without hesitating races out of camp to see for themselves. Thorn managed to snap out of his surprise and runs out to follow the others. "Bet you can't catch us!" Lightingwhisper called out before racing in a random direction. Skywhisker does the same and makes sure the others are following.

Pearmoon darted after Skywhisker and Lightningwhisper, running as fast through the rogue camp as her paws could take her. She barreled into a few cats along the way, making them run after her with angered yowls.

Gail spun around in alarm at Thorn's warning cries. Anger flashing over her golden gaze. How did those mangepelts find their camp? There was no time to dwell on it now. She yowled a loud battlecry to get the group ready for the clancats. Her narrowed gaze searched for them in the bushes and undergrowth. These runners couldn't be alone; she noted they weren't really attacking, just distracting. "There will be more, ignore these scrawny distractions and search them out in the bushes!" She ordered. Since the clancats wanted to have Fluffy so badly, they could have him. She wasn't going through any trouble to keep his sorry pelt in her camp. They'd probably be distraught at the state of him; which could work to her advantage.

Eaglepaw's form laid still in the corner of the den. His fur was dull and thin, just like his frame. His ears twitched at the commotion he picked up from outside of the den. He couldn't really be bothered to see what was going on, even if he wanted to he might not have the strenght to get up. It wasn't uncommon for these cats to fight amongst themselves, they were savages anyway so it'd probably blow over soon.

Now that the first patrol was doing their part it was time for the second patrol to jump into action and surprise the rogues with their calculated attacks. Scorchtail ccould feel the adrenaline pumping through the veins in his ears as he heard the sounds of surprise coming from the camp. After a moment of waiting he leaped out of his hiding place with loud yowls and screeches, flinging himself onto the first cat he could get his claws onto. Hopefully they could provide enough distraction for the other patrols.

Poppyfall's tail silently lashed back and forth as she waited nearby Wolfstar. Bad weather seemed to loom over them and tension hung thick in the air. Quite fitting for what was about to unfold. Their plan was set in motion and she hoped they could retrieve Eaglepaw smoothly but the rogues were expected to put on quite a fight. Maybe today they could drive them out once and for all if everything went well..

Parsleypatch with the patrol
Parsleypatch waited for her turn to enter the camp. She saw that patrol 1 and 2 were doing their part. She watched and waited to run in and find Eaglepaw. She hoped he was okay in there. Though she wasn't ready for what she would find.
Palerose at Tempestclan camp
Palerose looked around the camp hoping to find someone to talk to. She stood and walked toward the prey pile hoping to grab a squirrel.

Wolfstar waits for a bit before racing towards the entrance. He pushes through the entrance and attacks the nearest cat he could find. "Tempestclan tear them apart!" He cried out hoping to inspire some fear in the rogues.
Falconfrost follows his leader into camp and looks for his first opponent. That happened to be Pine and launces himself which causes the two to wrestle.
Bluehawk starts going to random cats swiping and nipping as he goes.
Ollie leaped to his paws but found his paws glued to the spot. Would the cats come after him? What if they killed him!
