Breezepelt kills Ashfur AU / Breezepelt is the Fourth Cat
This one is going to be plain and simple. This Au focuses on ALL of Crowfeather's kids, not only the three (and some others).
Breezepelt thrives in his apprenticeship, his love to learn away from the smothering of Nightcloud. He still detests Crowfeather for being distant. Things about the timeline start to change as he's the one instead of Heatherpaw to run into Lionpaw in the tunnels. They connect for their dumb fathers. And over time they joke about starting their own Clan underneath the four above. AbyssClan is born with Breezestar and Lionstrike as Leader and Deputy. Things progress as Lionpaw/blaze and Breezepaw/pelt continue meeting (against canon where Heather and Lion stopped during their apprenticeships) in AbyssClan until the entering of Sol.
Sol is interested in WindClan this time instead of ShadowClan (give the edgy Clan a break Erins) and particularly interested in Breezepelt. Sol recognizes something about Breeze that isn't clear yet. In the events of Eclipse, Sol encourages Onestar to further act rash in the attack done during the day eclipse. Breezepelt stops the attack with help from Heathertail, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf. Sol confirms his suspicions and buggers off to who knows where.
THEN THE FIRE SCENE
Breezepelt meets Lionblaze the next night because of what happened. The first part of the reveal, Ashfur attempting to kill them, the pain. Breeze is angry, to say the least, and worst of all is that Ashfur also disappeared after the fire. Sol and Ashfur, out and about. Scary.
Ashfur ran off the to Gathering place to stay safe until he could reveal Squirrelflight's secret (but not the whole truth a Leafpool being their mom hasn't been touched yet) to the Clans. It does happen, and no one can stop Ashfur as he sneaks down from the tree branches and exposes Squirrelfight and the 3. Brambleclaw is angry, Firestar is angry, everyone is angry.
But not as angry as Breezepelt as he escapes the Gathering scene and does what he's wanted to do since Lionblaze cried to him the night after the fire. He stalks Ashfur, watching the tom getting reprimanded- then exiled- by Firestar. Following Ashfur to the lake until he can tackle the gray tom and promptly kill him. His body is discovered the next morning.
The rest of the series would focus on the introduction of Dovepaw and Ivypaw, Breezepelt admitting he killed Ashfur to Lionblaze, Hollyleaf finding out she isn't one of the Three, and Breezepelt being revealed as the Fourth cat since he was the one to take the heavy burden of keeping the Three's legacy safe until the Final Battle.

Power of Three ShadowClan AU
Squirrelflight refuses to cover for Leafpool. Leafpool has nowhere to keep her kits without either calling them a rogue's or admitting to Crowfeather that she carried his kits.
She does the next best thing. She goes to ShadowClan border, wipes away any scent of ThunderClan from the Three, and waits until a border patrol comes to leave them in their care.
They're taken in and cared for by Tawnypelt of all cats. They are named Sleetkit(Jay), Goldenkit(Lion), and Shadowkit(Holly).
More ides for the AU will be included in a future edit.

The ShadowClan AU seems super fun- and extra mysterious because they would have no idea of their relation to Firestar or the prophecy!
I always love AUs where our heros are moved to ShadowClan. It really seems in most arcs that they would benefit much more from a big prophecy than ThunderClan would...

Imagine if Goldenkit, Sleetkit and Shadowkit discovered that Tawnypelt isin't their mother, instead they're half-ThunderClan and half-WindClan. That would be a great plotline!

Imagine if Goldenkit, Sleetkit and Shadowkit discovered that Tawnypelt isin't their mother, instead they're half-ThunderClan and half-WindClan. That would be a great plotline! I wonder if she would lie to them. It's hard to imagine what her motivations would be to do so. Honestly IMO it would be super cool to see Littlecloud bring the three in for Leafpool in honor of Cinderpelt saving him, and give the kits to the queens to care for. Maybe Tawnypelt would lie, but her kits are a few moons younger than the three so you'd have to really fudge the timeline. I think it'd be neater if they just had truly no clue who their parents were. Goldenkit would probably accept it and not care, Shadowkit would try hard to ignore it, and Sleetkit could obsess over it.

OKAY SO SOMEONE-LOOKS AT YOU TWO-DECIDED TO GIVE ME A DOSE OF SEROTONIN WHEN I SAW THE COMMENTS. HERE WE GO- BACK TO SHADOWCLAN-
Power of Three ShadowClan AU mini Part 2 Electric Bugaloo
Where we started was the rehoming and renaming of the OG 3! Well, we got more changes! First off, Shadow/Holly is one of the Three! Golden/Lion is not.
Shadowkit finds out a bit early on like Sleetkit that she has powers. Unlike Golden's Achilles power in the canon, Shadow has the Power of Manipulation. Anything she says can sway cats if she has an inkling of truth sprinkled in her words. This power does not work if she speaks the whole truth or outright lies.

poor Lionblaze, you made him more useless somehow! lol Lion/Golden is positioned like that 'cause he wants his own kits! And he's too young, so learning the ins and outs of kit raising will help in the future! (Especially in the later arcs with Violetkit) And it gives Goldenflame agency to connect with Tawnypelt and learn more about their mysterious background and eventually the search for their real parents and the truth behind the prophecy. Plus, this helps spilt up ShadowClan's aspect of life as Sleeteyes will first interact with ThunderClan and later on the rest of the Clans via medicine cats, jumpstarting the prophecy plot. Alongside Willowpaw/pelt and Krestlepaw/wing, they start catching on to the Dark Forest moving in and enticing cats to the Dark Forest. Holly/Shadow gets the fun part of doing the search for the old Clans (in this AU, Rock is the one to bring Sol to the Clans. Midnight may of told Sol the incoming eclipse, but Sol stays past that because Rock wants him to indirectly kill the 3. Cause in Rock's mind, killing the 3 means killing the prophecy, killing the impending attack from the Dark Forest) Shadowbriar teams up with a few Dark Forest trainees (Breezepelt, Antpelt, and Blossomfall) to help try to figure out why the Past is such a heavy topic for Rock and ends up having to use her Manipulating skills to get through the old Lake cats and gain info from the Dark Forest Trainees.

Medicine Cat Community AU
A fun AU for those who may hate the Medicine Cat rule about not being allowed to have a family. (like me!)
In this, Medicine Cats share the earthly StarClan territory as a communal area where they can meet, talk, discuss, and mostly live away from the stress of their Clanmates. The interesting part of this AU is that the Medicine Cats have all agreed that Moth Flight's rule on no kits and/or mate is dumb. Despite the older ancestors (especially Moth Flight) complaining, the Medicine Cats turned Mothermouth/ the Moonpool into their safe haven away from the Clans.
They have mates, Clan or not, live up there and help raise their kits away from any bitter cats that don't agree with them. And those kits eventually grow up and join their parent('s') Clan (or leave with their loner/rogue parent). These kits are allowed by StarClan, but only if they are raised to become Medicine Cats themselves.
Thus, Medicine Cat becomes both a role earned and born into, the abundance of litters for each Clan shifts their living dynamics. As now if one Medicine Cat goes to Mothermouth/Moonpool, then there are at least 2-10 other cats that can fill their role. These offspring become pseudo Warriors who take their herb knowledge with them into battle, journeys, or calmly enough treks to new territories claimed by their Clan.
The idea of all kits becoming Medicine Cats by default doesn't fit well with some Queens or Toms, sometimes a litter is born to a she-cat "without" a father and described as a "Gift from StarClan" or a Medicine Cat comes back having "found" a abandoned kit or two. Since these kits are never claimed as a MC's kin, StarClan cannot push the cat to become a Medicine Cat too.
The longer this goes on, the less strict StarClan becomes with the offspring and eventually the rule is tempered down enough that kits of Medicine Cats are now generally allowed, and they can then choose to follow their own routes in life.

Cool. In my fic the medicine Cat rule about no kits is broken by one of my OCs who is only following the destiny of his mom and his kin-bequeath New blood to the Clans. But they change things in so many ways and that is one of them. Eventually, I may even have gGentleoak have a mate!

Leafpool and Crowfeather join SkyClan AU
An idea from this morning!
Leafpool and Crowfeather (during Twilight) do run away as they want, and instead of returning to Thunderclan (as the Badger attack still happens, Cinderpelt still dies) they instead head towards the mountains in hopes of finding a new life. With the Tribes or as loners.
The Tribe life doesn't fit them, reminding them too much of their Clan life, and they continue past the mountain into the old Forrest territory. At this point completely destroyed by the Twolegs in construction of their grander Thunderpath/Highway. However they don't hesitate in traveling to the Twoleg Place in search of any new home. Down there, kittypets are interested in Crow and Leaf's travel stories and share their own of a entirely separate Twoleg place up river from the old forest. They decide it would be for the best to again travel to reduce the chances of any Clanmates finding them. (Possible fear of the Clans sending a patrol after them?)
Instead, they find the old forest cats. (Speckletail, Loudbelly, Frostfur, and Shadepelt - yes they will all still be ALIVE, they deserve to be SkyClan Elders and have a home to safely pass)
They begin traveling upriver in hopes of finding a new home, and with the old Elders, Crow starts to become a makeshift leader that takes more of the lead. It goes well for him! And they reach the new Twoleg place far before they expected. As they traveled up, Leafpool picked up a old fannypack that she uses to pick up herbs. Speckletail recognizing Leafpool as the young Leafpaw from back then.
The two runaways admit their actions of falling in love to the Elders, and some small spats later, they continue to the new Twoleg place.
They don't seem to have a day to even scope out a new living space, a SkyClan patrol catches them on the edge of their territory and brings them back to camp. Leafstar welcomes them, and the group is surprised to even hear about SkyClan. And the longer they talk, the more they find out about how Firestar and Sandstorm came to revive the missing Clan. Leafpool is surprised most and reveals to be Firestar's kin. And SkyClan is happy to meet one of Firestar's kits!
Crow and Leaf still want to have their own life, but being recognized as Clan cats, SkyClan begs them to stay and help for a bit. They offer to let Crow and Leaf have their own part of the territory to themselves if they wish, but some time later they agree that starting in a more welcoming Clan might do them good.
They help get the Elders settled in the Clan and share their knowledge of WindClan and ThunderClan hunting, and Leafpool joins Echosong in the Medicine Den.
The Three still happen a couple moons later. Because of Leafstar having her own kits as a acting leader, she decides for the good of her own Clan, she would remove the unspoken rule of Medicine Cats having kits and mates from SkyClan's code.
Leafpool and Crowfeather become the happy parents of the Three. (and again named because I like renaming them) The three are renamed: Jaykit, Princekit (Lion), and Blakekit (Holly). Later fully named: Jayscratch, named for his ferocity in battle against a failed overtake of Darktail. Princebreeze, named for using his scent tracking training to find and save kits from a fox who stole them. And Blakefield, named for her WindClan legs, fast running across a wheat field that saved Billystorm during a rogue attack.
THAT'S RIGHT, DAYLIGHT WARRIOR NAMES BABEY.
Crowfeather takes role as Deputy after Sharpclaw dies in Darktail's attempt to destroy SkyClan, and Leafpool again bears more kits, Tortoisekit and Lightkit.
When the prophecy starts becoming priority, the Three travel to the Lake Territory, meeting Midnight directly, and joining not ThunderClan- but RiverClan! They meet their Uncle Hawkfrost and Aunt Mothwing and learn of everything else.
Included with this AU is also the inclusion of Squirrelflight's two first kits, Dandelionmane (Warrior) and Juniperwish (Medicine Cat), who are the Three's trusted allies and are in charge of finding the fourth cat (later revealed to be Ivypool, who later joins the Three back to SkyClan due to her time as a Dark Forest trainee).
Blakefield does stay in RiverClan after the battle against the Dark Forest, and is introduced to her cousins Alderheart and Sparkpelt in the next few Arcs and takes Leadership of RiverClan by the beginning of A Vision of Shadows.

ThunderClan is extinct AU or Sky-Thunder Swap AU
This is a fun doozy.
The creation of this AU stems from the idea of the 13th Warrior Code. As Darkstar (renamed Duskstar in Cloudstar's Journey) of SkyClan gives up land to ThunderClan due to them having a population boom. But things are contested, the code was made to shut up SkyClan, and later on screwed SkyClan over when Twolegs uprooted their home.
Then what does this AU have to do with this?
Cloudstar of SkyClan approaches the Gathering in Cloudstar's Journey with his weakened Clan in hopes of the other 4 Clans giving them land to rehome SkyClan. Of course in canon no one helps and SkyClan is forced to leave the Forest Territory.
But in this AU, SkyClan's elders pipe up about the land Darkstar/Duskstar gifted to ThunderClan back then. Even ignoring the prior battle made to reclaim it.
Redstar(TC), is caught off guard about the land and is cornered by Dawnstar (ShC), Swiftstar(WC), and Birchstar(RC) as they find that giving the land back would then save them from giving up any of their own land. At the end of the Gathering, ThunderClan refuses; And SkyClan doesn't leave. They instead decide to take up space at Four Oaks, much to the other Clan's discomfort. But it's either that, ThunderClan gives back the old plot, or SkyClan leaves altogether.
Some time passes and SkyClan grow back to normal strength, and the four Leaders of Sky, River, Wind, and Shadow meet without Thunder's knowledge about staging an attack to finally get Skyclan out of Four Oaks. By the next Gathering, SkyClan is gone and ThunderClan is told once more to give up the land. ThunderClan refuses. Believing that SkyClan had up and left, meaning there'd be no reason for them to give up the land now.
The four leaders meet again, SkyClan have been hiding out in WindClan's camp- farthest away to keep the opposing Clan from seeing them or catching wind of their plans.
ThunderClan is caught off guard one night, as cats of all Clans spill into their camp. With chaos erupting on every side, the fight is over quickly thanks to the massive outnumbering, everyone finds out why the attack happened. But the land is not the only thing given to SkyClan that night. The leaders demand Redstar to reveal himself, but as they continue counting up the leftover clanmates- they find out that barely a scrap of ThunderClan is even there, the leader had taken his clan... and has fled ThunderClan territory completely.
Redstar had believed the attack was to kill off ThunderClan, and so when the fighting started, he ordered his Deputy (Seedpelt) to get the queens and elders out., leaving a small group of warriors and apprentices to die while they escaped.
The remaining group are left, struck with the horror that their Clan leader had abandoned them, as they were left out of the loop of Redstar's escape plan. And when the ThunderClan group that escaped are unable to be found over the next couple of moons, SkyClan takes the old camp while the stragglers join them or other Clans.
ThunderClan is only found later on in the main series when Tiny (who replaces Rusty) finds the remaining group (with no leader) in the Twoleg place where he would've started BloodClan. At the end of the first arc, and into the second, the traveling group bring back ThunderClan as the rest of the Forest Territory is being torn down. Tinystar now leading his rebuilt Clan over the mountains to the Lake Territory.
As to what destroyed ThunderClan further past their escape plan? In SkyClan fashion? They were well disliked by the Kittypet population due to their horrible treatment of them, the constant disruption of Twolegs, trapping, queens being stolen, warriors abandoning their Clan to become kittypets, and Redstar ultimately getting KO'd by a monster, caused their group to diminish within moons.

A tiny one, and too a personal theory/headcanon as to why Ashfur was so obsessed with Squirrelflight and the most recent arc's main villain.
The False Prophecy AU
StarClan has info about the Three Prophecy and sees Ashfur and Squirrelflight together. Thinking that the two are most likely the parents of the Three (while failing to see Ash and Squirrel's already fading relationship) come down and first find Ashfur, telling him the prophecy and that he and Squirrelflight should be the parents. Ignoring to tell Squirrelflight (Ash and StarClan) doubting things will not end out the way they want.
This leaves Ashfur in an elated mood, falling in love with Squirrelfight even more knowing their family will be the one to save the Clans. But that all changes when things fall apart and Squirrelflight becomes Brambleclaw's mate, he and StarClan are at a loss. But StarClan is certain that with how rocky things are with Bramble, Squirrel will likely go back to Ash.
Seeing a possible out, they witness Leafpool and Crowfeather together and swap the prophecy onto Leafpool. She's the one to get pregnant and Squirrelflight being tricked by Yellowfang of being barren to take the kits in without question.
Ash is angry, being lied to StarClan. But everyone should be angry at StarClan at this point. Squirrel was lied to, being called barren when she COULD have kits! Leaf was lied to, as it was StarClan that convinced her that things with Crow were serious. StarClan doesn't care, they want the Three born as soon as possible. And they got what they wanted through manipulating Leafpool and Squirrelflight.
As the Three grow up, Ashfur grows resentful and refuses that they're the Three destined to save the Clans. He still believes that he and Squirrelflight still have a chance.
The fire scene happens and Ashfur is happy enough to abandon his plan to kill the Three when Squirrelflight reveals them as not her own. He takes off now, mad with visions of him and Squirrelflight having the kits he always imagined. That of course goes off course as Hollyleaf kills him.
And to keep Ashfur from going to the Dark Forest and spilling what he knows about the prophecy, StarClan allows him in their afterlife to keep the prophecy safe. They don't fix anything. they don't try to talk to Ashfur. They keep him there thinking he might overtime cool down.
But of course, we all know that doesn't work out.
