Powers of the witches rise,
Course unseen across the skies.
Come to us who call you near,
Come to us and settle here.
At the height of their power, the rowan sisters are out for blood. They have called for witches and begun to raise the dead in order to gather a small army. Their goal is simple: to take over the townspeople and claim it as a safe haven for dark creatures.
Meanwhile, the humans on the island of bellum have begun to notice mysteries events. Missing people, dead wildlife and storms that would devastate the town for months on end. All they wanted was to make a new home in the new land.
When the dark comes to light, what will become of the town? Will the witches drive out those who seek to destroy their way of life? Only time will tell, as it all comes to a head on all hallows eve.

The Witches (3/13)
The Undead
The Ghosts
The Transformed
The Humans
Important Character Information
The leaders of the Bellum Coven are the Rowan sisters. They have called other witches to join them. Their power comes from the Devil himself, their master, and the only way they can preform magic is through rhyming spells, songs or potions. Witches are very hard to kill, and will not die from fire.
The Undead are just that: dead people raised from the grave to serve the Witches. The deal is that they reanimate so long as they are helping the witches. If they go against this wish, they will die again. These creatures are desiccated, but do not feel pain and can remove or reattach limbs at will. Only magic can kill them.
The Ghosts are spirits of the dead who wander the Island of Bellum. They have been there for as long as centuries to as short as a week, often staying due to the tragic ways they died. Ghosts are only seen by Witches and their Familiars. Sometimes, depending on how long they've been a ghost, they are able to do things such as moving objects to the possession of a Human Body. They are only allowed to move on once they are ready to do so.
The Transformed are humans that have been spelled to become animals. They can work with or against the Witches. It truly just depends on if they want to chance the townspeople killing what would be called a demon animal, or could be mistaken as a Witch's Familiar. Very easy to kill, no powers other than the ability to talk.
The Humans are a colony sent from England to take over the Bellum Isle, off the coast of Scotland to the North. It was thought to be uninhabitable because of the cold weather. Now, however, these townspeople have built houses, shops and the Church. News of this colony has brought many from far away countries in order to create their new home.

Locations
Rowan Castle: To the west, in a castle as old as the island itself, the Rowans have made these stone walls their home. From the exterior, it looks like it is in ruin. Walls are missing from the east side of the building, moss and ivy trail the northern side, it is surrounded by graves and it is consistently covered in fog. It is often filled with anything a witch needs for spells, hexes and potions. Fires are constantly lit due to magic, and despite it's creepy aesthetic, it is rather warm on the inside.
Bellum Colony: The East of the Island lies the Bellum Town. There are many houses, shops and even the Church. In the middle of town, there lies a stage with a bell. When something happens in the town, the bell is rung and the settlers are meant to gather and discuss. Anything from general announcements to storm warnings are reasons to ring the bell. Witches are not welcome here, but it is likely that those undiscovered in the Bellum Coven are known to roam the streets.
St. Peter's Church: In the South of Bellum Town lies the Church. All inhabitants of the Colony are expected to gather on Sundays and come to the mass. The head the Church is the Pastor, who is expected to ward off the evil when it occurs. As of now, the Church is in the position that there is nothing amiss going on the Island. While the general townspeople worry, those in the Church insist that there are no witches on the Island.

Morriganne "Mo" Rowan high priestess of the bellum coven
26 | Female | Witch | Rhi โ black crow
[[ Bellum has been home to the Rowan witches for generations, and Mo is no exception. Raised on the island her entire life, she stands tall as most natives of the area. She is relatively thin, as the only food the Coven receives is from hunting and gathering. As a figure, she's still quiet intimidating. Maybe it's in her near-perfect posture, or just her general aura. Morriganne rarely sees the sun, preferring to stay in the shade of the Castle. Her skin is so pale that she might looked sickly if not for the pinkish undertone. She only has a very faint speckle of freckles across her face. Mo has bright red hair that keeps long, rarely cutting it. Her hair is naturally straight, but she will braid it when she wants to put the effort in.
As she was born into the role, it is quite obvious that Mo is not naturally a good leader. She does her best, and makes sure everyone stays in line, but she relies heavily on her two sisters for help. As the Coven increases in membership, the harder Mo works to become decent enough to lead them. She wants to earn their respect, even if it means changing herself. When it was just her family, Mo was okay with generally being a disaster. When she was younger, she would sneak into the Bellum town and flirt with humans, or spend time at the local tavern. She wanted to see how the mortals lived their lives. It was fun, for awhile, but now she knows her life goal. She accepts that, even if it means people get hurt. Mo does, however, excel at magic. She has read the family grimoire front to back regularly. ]]
