Pinewhisker had continued to lovingly groom his mates pelt as she woke and gathered her senses about their current surroundings. It didn't come as much of a surprise when Brighttail asked him if any of the barn cats would want to join them. "..I'm not sure. I know Bat and Wheat were once part of a clan, and Wheats skill set with herbs would be a welcome addition. But it would be a lot for them to uproot themselves from a warm comfortable barn, to go searching for a new home in the cold of leaf bare." The russet tom just simply spoke what came to mind, but he did want to make the offer to the barn cats. "Would you like to go ask them together?", he added with a smile after a moment of thought. This could be Bat and Wheats final chance to become apart of a clan again... maybe they missed clan life.
After finally grooming the entirety of her plush white pelt, Whitewhisp changed her focus over to Galepaw who was dutifully practicing some moves in the corner. Casting a quick look to the rabbit and then back to Galepaw she queen stood up and approached the apprentice. "Hey Galepaw, think maybe you could find Frecklewind and I a nice plump mouse or two? There was some loud squeaks on the top of those hale bales over there", she meowed pointing with her tail to the location she had heard some mice in. "I'm just not really in the mood for rabbit, but feel free to help yourself to it, maybe share it with Stormclaw or Fogstripe." The young tomcat had been quite helpful in bringing the queens the mice he had caught, and Whitewhisp had taken a liking to the plump barn mice, versus the wiry prey from the moorlands.

Stormclaw Tom | RidgeClan | 23 moons Tags: Mentions: Everyone
Stormclaw was grooming himself, wondering when to go out for a morning hunt. His belly growled, and he figured it should be soon. He eyed the rabbit that Pinewhisker brought in, but tore his gaze away and looked to the outside of the barn. Leaf-bare was in full effect, and it wasn't doing anyone much good, especially Stormclaw with his short coat. He fluffed up his fur and looked around at the cats inside. Bat, Wheat, and Blight had been hospitable throughout the past week, especially Wheat, but there was a still a guarded stance between the Clan cats and the loners. Bat and Blight especially came to mind.
As far as the Clan cats, everyone except Fogstripe was cool in his book. He watched said tom with cautious eyes, but as his belly rumbled again, he got to his paws and padded out of the barn.

Brighttail
“It would be best to have somebody with experience in medicine... Frecklewind’s kits are still young, and Whitewisp hasn’t had hers. And we still have a long way to go.” Brighttail sighed. It was true- they couldn’t settle so close to their old territories. They would be traveling for a long time yet, and she was filled with dread just thinking about what dangers they could encounter.
“Yes, I think inviting them would be for the best. From the sounds of it, they’re usedto be being attacked here, anyways. Maybe safetyin numbers will appeal to them.” She considered aloud. It was certainly worth a shot.
Galepaw
“Sure thing, Whitewisp!” Galepaw liked rabbit just fine, but the queens had to be fed before he could eat, and Pinewhisker had always told him to help where he could. He scampered to the hay bales, Whitewisp had indicated, slowling down and dropping into a crouch as he approached so as not to startle anything. He could smell two of them, probably looking for something to eat amongst the hay.
The hay strewn on the ground helped keep his steps soft as he approached, getting into a position to pounce. He wanted to get both- wouldn’t that impress Pinewhisker! Unfortunately, as he leapt at them, the hay slid beneath his paws, causing his pounce to fall short. While he was able to salvage it by stretching his paw to smack down on one of the mice, the other curried off with fright, and he grumbled after delivering a killing bite.
“There were two, but I missed one...” He sighed, as he delivered the prey to Whitewisp- it still surprised him how big the mice were here, even during leafbare. Still, more prey was always better than less.
Fogstripe
“Going somewhere?” Fogstripe leaped down from the hay bales, landing next to Stormclaw with a small thump. He already guessed the tom was heading out to hunt, and he himself was starting to feel hungry after keeping watch all day. “Mind if I join you?”
He knew the tom wasn’t a fan of him- he didn’t miss his wary looks- and the feeling was fairly mutual, but that was no reason not to try and bridge the gap a bit. Over the week, it had settled in that he might be spending the rest of his life with these cats, so it was better to kill any tension now.
