Heatherpaw looked towards the older warrior as well, her green eyes shining.
"She's going to appoint someone to fill the adjutant spot right?" She askes, tilting her head, "I don't know who it will be, but it better be someone that knows what they are doing."
Her tail flicked as she then looked for her mentor. "Quietstorm may take me out, I hope. Maybe you can tag along?"

Crowpaw // near the West border // open
Crowpaw flopped down onto the ground with a huff of annoyance, spitting out the tansy stalks he'd been collecting. His mentor had tasked him with gathering new herbs to replenish their stock, since many had been used up during the leafbare moons. I wish someone had been sent along to help me, Crowpaw thought grumpily, rolling over on to his back to stare up at the treetops. He'd only been out for half the morning, and already he was tired and struggling to carry the huge bunches of tansy, the herb they needed most.
But why was he given herb-collecting duty, anyway? He knew all the herbs and their uses by heart, and there were a few minor injuries and sicknesses the guru had had to treat this morning. But apparently I'm not trusted to do a guru's job, Crowpaw thought, staring hard at the few clouds he could see through the tree canopy. He hadn't even wanted to be a guru in the first place; he'd rather be out hunting or training with one of the guardians. At least that would've brought me closer to Blackwing, before he... The thought trailed off in Crowpaw's mind. He might as well go find some marigold, another herb that was low in their stock. But he hadn't seen any marigold plants the whole morning, not even new buds. Hm. Maybe...
Crowpaw shifted his gaze to a large elm tree a few foxlengths away. The older trees always knew where to find a certain plant, since they'd been around the longest. Crowpaw sat up, and took a deep breath, focusing on the background hum of the plants' energies in his mind. He centered on the one he knew to be the elm (the elms always had a sort of haughty edge to their emotions) , and thought, Marigold, where?
The elm's energy seemed to point away from the clearing Crowpaw was in, toward a thick berry bush on the outer ring. Thank you, Crowpaw thought, then gathered the tansy he'd dropped and headed over. Hidden just under the leaves of the bush, there was a small clump of marigold. Perfect. Might as well gather as much as I can.
(Here's my first starter! I'll try to get the other two up tonight or tomorrow c: )

Heatherpaw had noticed that angry swish of the tail, but chose not to comment on that. The small dusky brown she-cat shifted so that she was sitting now, her green eyes watching the camp. She began to wonder where Quietstorm was, causing her to became a bit frustrated.
"I certainly hope I am not stuck with some other warrior on a patrol," she grumbled. "I might as well go out by myself."
Swaying her tail, Heatherpaw narrowed her eyes before she looked at Dewpaw, almost smirking. "Wanna go out now?"
Licking his jaws, Ashenbrooke purred as he finished his meal. The guardian felt energized and was ready to start the day. He turned his head towards Breezestar, noting that she hasn't ordered any patrols. No worries. Ashenbrooke was more than willing to organize one, with her permission of course.
Standing from his spot, the long-furred cream-color point tom padded over to where he could see Breezestar.
"Good morning," He greeted, blue eyes shining, "I've noticed there were no patrols, shall I lead one?"

(I'll get Flamingpaw's starter up later if that is ok.)
Briarheart Northern Border // Open
The loud cracking of a branch made Briarheart let out a yelp. The scrabbling of her claws digging into the rough bark followed her yowl. Earlier that day Briarheart had asked Flamingpaw if he had wanted to come with her and climb a tree. Sadly he said no. Despite that, Briarheart had wanted to know what it was like to see the territory from a bird's view. Flipping back into the present, she looked up at the few branches between her and the top of the tree. She bunched up her hind legs and lept to the top. The leaves rustled as her head burst through the top of the leaves. "Wow!" Briarheart exclaimed while her gaze scanned the tops of the trees.

( renaissance - Sorry that I still haven't done starters for my other two characters, my weekend ended up being more busy than I realized. I have more than enough time to get them up tonight, though. Before I do, is either Firefly or Windstorm a mentor to one of the apprentices? Just wondering since I saw several of them without mentors in the allegiances c: )

(( the reason i haven't assigned any mentors is because the tyros are meant to be mentored by cats who have the same blessing as them which is proving to be a bit hard lol ))
Birdstar | w/ Ashenbrooke, mentions Windstorm, Brightspots and Thrushfoot Birdstar startled a bit when Ashenbrooke spoke to her, his voice interrupting her thoughts. She hadn't heard him approach, even with her heightened senses. They had been focused on searching the surrounding territory for signs of Blackwing. She relaxed, offering the warrior a small smile. "Ah yes, I haven't sent any out yet..." She meowed, remembering she had taken up the responsibility since the adjutant had disappeared. "Yes, you may lead one, please. You can take..." Her gaze wandered to the tyro den and she trailed off, seeing that the two tyros who'd been sitting there were now gone. She quickly realized that they'd just left the camp, hearing their pawsteps and their scents leading away. She couldn't be bothered to go after them though. Perhaps she should have, but she found that she was more worried about other things than a couple young cats having fun. As long as they didn't get into any trouble, it was not a big deal. She looked back at Ashenbrooke with a dismissive flick of her tail. "Why don't you take Brightspots, Windstorm, and Thrushfoot with you."
The young tom glanced towards Birdstar, watching Ashenbrooke approach and converse with the leader. He glanced around camp, seeing that neither of their mentors had searched for them yet. He stood up with a twitch of his tail, lowering his voice. "Yeah, let's go. Hurry up." He murmured, quickly making his way to the camp entrance. He slipped out into the forest and let out the breath he hadn't even realized he was holding. This would be the first time he was out without a guardian. The tyros typically stuck with their mentors all the time, although he didn't think it would be a big deal. He was one of the oldest in the tyro den, he deserved some more respect and responsibility. "Keep up if you can." He meowed, shooting a smug grin over his shoulder at Heatherpaw. He bounded forward through the forest, bunching his muscles and leaping through the air to grip the side of a trunk. From there he leaped to another tree and another, using this method to run swiftly through the territory. He was obviously showing off his power, since Heatherpaw was not favored.
(Dew and heather can run into either crowpaw or briarheart now if you'd like cx ))
