She perked up quite a bit hearing that her friend wasn't due for another patrol yet , she let a smile creep up on her face "Oh ! That would be amazing if you wanted to do something! Both of you if you'd like!" . Her smile drooped slightly but didn't fully vanish as she heard the news of watching some apprentice training. She still had a soft spot for new warriors and apprentices and loved watching cats learn the skills of the clan and the warrior way . "I would not want to intrude or anything like that, but I wouldn't mind watching from a distance? If you'd be ok with that of course and your apprentice." Sparrowsong looked towards Ravenwhisker whom she hadn't spoken with much "Do you have an apprentice as well?" She scraped her paws at the ground awkwardly "I would love one of my own but I don't think that'd ever happen"

(sorry, but i'm gonna be gone the next two weeks)

Snowdapple, Gazekit, Wishkit, and Coalkit (Open and able to be broken apart)

Snowdapple and her kits each rose independently of each other fairly early in the morning and settled down outside the Nursery. Snowdapple captured Coalkit between her forepaws and began to bathe her. Coalkit let out little purrs as her mother's tongue stroked her fur.

Wishkit watched the Nursery waiting for Weaselkit, Foxkit, and Wolfkit to emerge from the den. She was barely holding still as she was eager to play. She knew it was only about half a moon until they would become apprentices.

Gazekit watched a bug fly through the air. He stood and batted at it before turning his attention to the camp. His little tail waved back and forth as he waited for the camp to burst to life.


Ivysplash (Open)

Ivysplash stalked in from the forest with prey in his jaws. He had been frustrated by his attempts to train Shortcake but knew the young cat was not as prepared for hunting as clan kits were. All their games were based around hunting and fighting. He had gone hunting to destress and make sure the clan had enough food. He dropped the shrew and birds into the pile and picked out a vole to satisfy his hunger. He laid down outside the warrior's den to eat it.

Frostfeather and Basilwhisker (Open and able to be broken apart)

Frostfeather awoke and padded softly out of the warrior's den. She spotted her brother, Basilwhisker, who had woken up moments earlier and laid out I'm the middle of camp. She padded over and they began to discuss apprentices and how Basilwhisker's apprentice, Silverpaw, was doing in his training. It was going quite well he said even though the tom was still young he was well on his way to being a bright and strong warrior.

Turtlepool (Open)

Turtlepool dozed in the dawnlight outside the elder's den. She peeked out of slitted eyes as she heard Ivysplash enter the camp. She wondered if someone might bring her a bite to eat but didn't ask anyone but rather continued to pretend she was asleep.


Poppypaw (Open)

Poppypaw snoozer quietly in the apprentice's den in the early morning quiet. She was much healthier than she had been when she was first found a moon ago. But the starvation had really done something to her. She was weaker than cats her age and needed to build up muscle. She was scrawny even for a clan cat.

(Leaving Marshkit out cause I don't think Zz is coming back)

Icewhisper

Icewhisper emerged from her den, finally done with sorting through her herbs for now. She had started earlier than usual this morning because she and Elmstar would meet up with Silverrose and Ratwhisper today and it was probably going to take a while. Elmstar still had a few things to do as well before they would head out but once he was done with that they would be ready.

The kits - Weaselkit with Wishkit, Wolfkit with Gazekit, Foxkit by himself

Weaselkit and Wolfkit were trying to drag Foxkit out of the nursery. Their brother swatted at them and grumbled sleepily but other than that he didn't do much to resist them. Once they were outside Wolfkit let go of Foxkit, flicked his tail at him and grinned, leaving Weaselkit to deal with their brother herself. After a while she, too, was done with this and dropped Foxkit right outside the nursery. "We're just doing you a favor," she laughed as her brother swatted at her again. Then she ran over to Wishkit and once she was close enough she leaped over her. Grinning she turned around to face her friend. "Sorry, I had to get Foxkit to leave his nest again," she purred.

Wolfkit had followed Weaselkit for a while but then he walked over to join Gazekit instead, wondering what he was up to. He meowed a cheerful greeting, still feeling excited from his conversation with Icewhisper and Elmstar yesterday. So far only Foxkit knew about it though he supposed Weaselkit already guessed it as well. His littermates knew him well enough, after all. Still, to the other kits his sudden cheerfulness was probably a little strange, given how he had become a bit more withdrawn lately.

Hey so I am gonna be removing old characters again so Haypaw and Heatherpaw are being removed as well as Malvina, Wovensight and the kits. I'm gonna post about openings for mentors and mates etc after I see all the openings. But Pineclaw and ☾—ivy｡˚⊹♪:¨ · does it sound good if Ripplefur is mentor to Amberpaw?)

Poppypaw with Silversong

Poppypaw awoke almost as though she could sense that Silversong was awake. She rose and slowly made her way out to the main part of camp. She stretched and yawned making a silent scream with her mouth. She padded to her mentor quickly and brushed against her having bonded with her quickly after being given her as a mentor. She looked up hoping the gesture wasn't too forward for the other she-cat. "Good morning. What are we gonna do today?" She mewed. She hoped it wouldn't be anything with other apprentices so her mentor wouldn't see how weak she really was compared to the others.

(I think swimming could be a good way for her to build strength since it takes the weight off the muscles and allows them to move more easily. I don't know if you want Silversong to have this idea or maybe have her have a conversation with my cat Frostfeather at some point as she is the clan fish. Or maybe even talking to Icewhisper would work)

Elmstar walked over and hopped onto the place he conducted meetings from. "Let everyone who is able to catch their own prey meet beneath me for a clan meeting." He bellowed. Though he had been a senior warrior when Thymestar had made him Deputy he was still very spry. He had all his 9 lives and bright eyes.

"We have two matters to discuss today. First... I must name a new Deputy. I have thought about this for the past couple days and have decided on Pollentail. She is a great fit and I hope you all treat her with the respect she deserves." He paused and allowed for cheering for the new Deputy. "We also have a new apprentice in our mix. I have given them Ivysplash as a mentor as he has been with us nearly 7 moons. He and Snowdapple have shown us great commitment in sticking with us since they joined. But that's not who I'm taking about. We are here to give Shortcake thier apprentice name." He looked around for the young cat and smiled at them. "You're new name will be Littlepaw until the day you are given your warrior name." He purred and allowed for cheering for the new apprentice.

"This meeting has come to an end. I thank you all for your patience as I chose a Deputy." He jumped down and stood allowing himself to be open for any questions that the clan may have.
