Thymeclan New members needed

Snowdapple OPEN
Snowdapple nodded to Wovensight and watched him walk off. When he was gone she rested her head on her paws and fell asleep. She dozed for a while and then opened her eyes. She smiled at Smokeshade and Forestfur as they walked into the nursery. It seemed like there would be more kits coming in the next couple moons. Hopefully after the six kits became apprentices.

"Thanks Silverpaw." Gazekit said with a smile. He knew the clan was in need of a medicine cat apprentice so he was glad it was something he could do for his clan. He looked to Flickerpaw to see what she would say but also nodded at Sliverpaw's statement of there being alot of new denmates in the apprentice's den. "Yeah. There's going to be like twelve cats sharing that den. Its a good thing that you guys expanded it."

Coalkit dipped her head in the direction of the new cat and wondered what her name was but got distracted by the other kits eating rabbit. She squeaked and nodded again to Flickerpaw and trotted off to eat. She nodded to the other Weaselkit and the others before taking a few bites of rabbit. She finished up what she could of the rabbit and padded away to lay next to Snowdapple.

Wishkit stood up and shook her fur out. "I did want to fight. I guess I'm just being whiny." She said circling her friend. She flicked her tail and growled playfully.


Turtlepool OPEN
Turtlepool nodded standing and watching the other elder for a few moments before heading out to take a stroll. She decided to walk the outside perimeter of the camp so she could get some fresh air. She marched around camp pausing everyone in a while to rest. When she finished her walk she went back into the camp and layed down to watch the others go about their day.

Frostfeather sighed and took a bite of her prey as Foxclaw came over. She chewed as she thought about how to answer the young tom's question. She didn't remember how long he had been gone to know what to tell him about. "A little over two moon ago a queen named Malvina came to our clan after she had been kidnapped from our clan as a kit. She was known as Smokekit at the time which was moons before either of us were born. She now has Marshkit, Pheasantkit, and Gazellekit who were born 2 moons ago. Its been about a moon since we lost Thymestar(the orginal leader) to a fox attack. He lost multiple lives to his injuries and Cherrywish, now Cherrystar became leader and promoted Hollowsky to deputy. Before Thymestar died he let a loner named Sakura join the clan and she's become a warrior." Frostfeather paused taking a breath. There was more clan news but she didn't want to overwhelm Foxclaw.

Basilwhisker OPEN
Basilwhisker was in his nest sleeping soundly and he continued to do so as his sister and some of his denmates got up and left their nests. He had gone out late in the night to hunt because he had been unable to sleep with the excitement of the day before.

Ivysplash struck the shrew with his paw and stunned it when he finally tracked it down. He headed back to where he and Nutshine split up. He saw her burying the rabbit and purred. "Good job"

Poppypaw with Sakura Robinbreeze)
Poppypaw smiled at her mentor. "Okay. I'll listen in when I hear some apprentices talking next time. Get some extra help with my training." She said happily before jumping back up on Sakura and holding lightly to stay up. She felt small and uncoordinated compared to the older she-cat.

The tom sat next to his mate and nodded at the other cats talking. He wasn't quite sure what the clan life entailed but he was ready to be part of it.

Snow smiled at the young cat and his enthusiasm. "I don't know much about the clan ways but I like how excited you all seem. Which den do you think would be good for ." She looked around trying to decide which den to point out next to the clan cats.

Sootkit woke up with a small squeak and started nursing blindly. All she could hear is the breathing of her siblings and the pounding of her mother's heart.

Wrenwillow and Melonburr with Storm, Windpaw and Rainpaw Pineclaw, Ivy and Featherstar)
Wrenwillow sat down near the water and watched the ripples ebb away. She couldn't see any fish ywt but she wasn't interested in hunting so she would wait it out. She watched as Windpaw and Storm headed off after prey.

Melonburr padded up to his mate and licked her ear before heading off to hunt down a rabbit he smelled. He stalked through the trees and pounced missing it by a few whisker lengths. He cursed and headed in the direction of some mouse squeaks.


Mistpaw with Ebonyflame Robinbreeze) 
Mistpaw nodded as he watched Windpaw pad out of camp with his parents and some other cats. "I would enjoy that. Its been a while since I've trained." He took a break and leaned back a little enjoying a patch of sunlight on his back.


Petalpaw with Adderbite Fortuna)
Petalpaw nodded. She watched the kits as they ate and started to goof off again. She remembered a time when she and her brothers had eaten and played with the other kits in the clan like that. She sighed. "Maybe one of them will be your first apprentice. My bet is on a spunky one like the little calico who jumped on the other she-cat and then got pushed off. " (thats wishkit by the way.)

Silverrose smiled at Brightpaw. "Yes they will be excited. We will have to set up a few patrols tomorrow to mark our borders. Starting with the one we share with you, Cherrystar." She paused and smiled at the other leader. "I was also thinking maybe we could use the clearing where we met Apple and Cenra as a meeting place that is neither of our clans' territory. That way we can check up on each other and share our troubles and successes."

Brindlepaw nodded to Crescent. "My aunt put us in charge maybe we can ask Swallowbreeze and Apple to join us in collecting." The apprentice could see the older cat had more questions to ask by the look on his face. "If you have any questions about clan life I might be able to help. I might be just an apprentice but I'm close to finished with my training." (Ember34)

Marshkit  OPEN
The kit padded away from the Elder's den and sniffed the air as he looked around camp. He saw the older kits were playing and eating rabbit. He watched them for a minute and then looked away as he padded toward the nursery where Forestfur was talking to his mother and siblings. He layed down and started to bathe himself.

Crescent shook his head. "I'll be fine," he said. He was certain with time.question a he had would be answered, so he felt no desire to try and get them now but should they not be answered, he would need to find out if he was going to be apart of the clan. "Doesn't hurt to go ask them." He looked at the other cats, not really knowing who was Apple and Swallowbreeze.

Brightpaw - with Silverrose, Cherrystar, Brindlepaw and the others

Brightpaw nodded eagerly at this. Meeting up with the other clan every now and then to exchange news sounded like a great idea. "I still can't really believe it," he admitted with a purr. "Having our own camp and territory, I mean. We're all really lucky to have run into Thymeclan. They've been super helpful."

Cenra

Cenra sat near the small groups and listened, focusing on one conversation now and on then on another one. They all sure had a lot to talk about and since a lot of it revolved around the clan they would build here most of it was interesting to her. She briefly glanced over at Silverrose when she brought up the clearing where she and Apple had met the clancats. So that place wouldn't belong to either clan. She was a little bit surprised but she supposed it made sense for the two clans to have gatherings like that.

Storm - with Wrenwillow, Melonburr, Windpaw and Rainpaw

Storm had padded of a little further from the pond to find some more prey. Once he had caught some more, a small finch, he walked back. He buried the prey to pick it up again later and padded towards the water. Then he sat down, ready to strike when a fish would swim by.

Darkclaw - with Sootscruff

With a slight purr Darkclaw took a bite out of the pheasant too. At Sootscruff's words he gave a small nod. "Thanks," he meowed. "I'm just glad I actually got it." While he was sure there had been some luck involved too he was proud of his success. Maybe not as much that he would run around camp and brag to everyone but he definitely was happy about it. He glanced at Sootscruff, thinking of the hunt and their race to the meadow. "But you sure like challenges, huh," he purred. He had to admit that it had been fun.

Ripplefur - with Heatherpaw

Ripplefur looked her over for a moment, then she raised one paw and lightly swatted at her. "Oh, dream on," she snorted with a purr. "Try your luck at more advanced moves, then you can compare yourself to me." She gave a slight grin as she said this but took on a more serious expression when she finished. "Actually, I was thinking of showing you one today. It's only your first moon of training so you probably won't really get a good grasp on it but it'll give you something to work towards to."

Silverpaw - with Gazekit, Pinepaw and Flickerpaw

Silverpaw purred and returned the kit's smile. While he wished that all of the older kits would move to the apprentices den soon he was happy for Gazekit. At his next words he nodded. "Yeah, It'd be too crammed otherwise. I'm really looking forward to the others becoming apprentices soon though!" He glanced over to the group of kits and grinned. "I hope no one fidgets in their sleep. It would keep everyone up." He shook his head and purred, not having meant it enirely serious. "But one things for certain, we won't get cold during leaf-bare."

Weaselkit - with Wishkit

Weaselkit just grinned and spun around as Wishkit circled her. "That's fine," she purred, not wanting to dwell on it. Whether she had been too forceful or Wishkit was being whiny didn't really matter to her as long as they could play and not get into arguments. Swishing her tail she kept turning around, keeping her eyes on Wishkit so she wouldn't take her by surprise. With a cheerful yowl Weaselkit suddenly crouched down and leapt for her, trying to knock her over.

Snow nodded as Brightpaw spoke. The young cat seemed both wise and enthusiastic. This made Snow excited to be his clanmate. "Is it just you from your clan? Were you all alone before you found the Thymeclan cats?" She asked concerned for the apprentice.

Gazekit laughed about Silverpaw's comment about not getting cold in leafbare. He nodded and looked over at his littermates wondering what kind of apprentices they would make. He figured that Coalpaw would be subdued and probably a little unsure of herself and Wishkit would be a firecracker like always and have the other apprentices going crazy.

Wishkit nodded and turned away from Weaselkit distracted by some sound. So she was caught off guard by her friend pouncing on her. She rolled to the ground and squeaked. She tried to wriggle her way free but was unable to do so. "I'll get you for this." She growled and wriggled some more.

Melonburr and Wrenwillow with Storm, Windpaw, and Rainpaw.
Melonburr was stalking a mouse when a hawk came down from the sky and scooped it up. He jumped back a little as it startled him before he realized he could get two peices of prey if he caught it. He jumped into the air and dug his claws in bringing the bird to the ground with him making a loud thud. He oofed and snapped at the bird before it could snap at him. He then carried it proudly back to the pond where the others were mostly sitting around the water. He waited a minute for someone to notice before he buried the two peices of prey.

Wrenwillow swiped her paw in the water as the fish began to return. She scooped up a small fish and slammed it into the bank to stun it. She looked over at Storm and Rainpaw trying to think of something to say to one of them. "Hey Rainpaw do you know how to fish? If not I could show you." She called to the young male cat.  Featherstar)

Frostfeather thought for a few seconds. Plenty had happened to the clan in the past couple moons but what had she been doing? "I've been fishing most days. That's about it. I haven't really done anything otherwise. I obviously mourned with the clan when Thymestar died and celebrated Cherrystar becoming leader. I even watched and hoped that I would become a mentor when Poppypaw became an apprentice. But I've just been going through the motions." She said nonchalantly. She had been hoping that she would become a mentor. She loved teaching others to fish.

Wrenwillow shook her head. "We aren't water cats but we had a pond much like this one in our territory. Sometimes fish is all we could eat in leafbare. Come here and I will show you." She said waiting for the she-cat to come over. She saw a fish coming her way and she scooped it up and threw it to the bank and bit it.

"Alright." Rainpaw padded over to Wrenwillow. "So what do I do? Is it like this?" Rainpaw dipped her paw in the water when she saw a fish come her way. She made a grab for it and got it. She then dragged the fish on the the bank.

Rainpaw took a bit out of the fish. "Hmm, it tastes very good! So I have missed out on this for a while!" She sat down and saviored the taste of fish. It is good I have to say!

Wrenwillow chuckled a little. "Why don't you call your brother over to share?" She offered. She wasn't surprised that Rainpaw liked the fish. She was glad however that the young she-cat expanded her palate.

Melonburr sat down next to Wrenwillow and purred. He waited for the next fish to pass by and soon added his own fish to his mate's small pile.

Brightpaw - with Snow and the others

Brightpaw turned to look at Snow as she spoke. "I think so," he meowed a little hesitantly. "If there are still others left they must have travelled somewhere else. Oh, but I wasn't alone for too long!" he added quickly. "I've met a loner who lived near our territory. He helped me look for my clanmates. But well..." He lowered his gaze a little and there was a hint of disappointment in his voice. "we never found anyone. That's when Storm suggested that we could find a group of loners who would be kind enough to accept me. I can't imagine living all by myself so I agreed." Brightpaw looked up again and this time he wore a slightly embarrassed smile. "Well, also because I was still hoping we could find some of my clanmates.

Weaselkit - with Wishkit

"Gotcha!" With a grin Weaselkit stood atop Wishkit and held her down. She gave a playful growl as her friend tried to free herself and, confident that she had won this fight, she turned her head to look at her brothers. "Guess who the strongest future apprentice is? That's right, it's me- hey!" With a surprised mewl she stumbled back, Wishkit's wriggling having finally paid off.

Storm - with Wrenwillow, Melonburr, Windpaw and Rainpaw

Storm kept his gaze on the water but was listening to the rest of the patrol. His whiskers twitched in amusement and he chuckled to himself. The way Wrenwillow interacted with the apprentices reminded him of his hunts with Brightpaw. Maybe clanlife really was for him after all. Then he grew serious again when he spotted the shadow of a large fish swim by. Carefully he moved his paw closer and at the right moment he struck. He quickly bit into the fish to prevent it from flopping back into the water and then went back to looking for more fish.

I've got the front page updated and I remade the Border/gathering/moon mushroom page and updated the link for it. I hope we can all work together to make this rp last cause we have all put so much time into it.))
