(Morning all. Hope you all are well. Here is where all my charries left off I also have Mango the grumpy loner open)) Thymestar runningfeather"I'm a little achy today." Thymestar said quietly. He tried to stretch balancing on 3 legs and kicking out his back leg and then doing the same with the other. "And I had a dream but I don't remember much about it. But it left me with this sad feeling. Like I've forgotten what it means to have a spark in my life." He sighed as if unsure how to get across the point he was trying to make. He was just so down about this secret thing his life was missing now in his old age. Basilwhisker RobinbreezeSakura woke from her short nap with a start. She sniffed the air, searching for something that could have interrupted her nap. She knew she wasn't far from the weird group of cats that she had run into. She was certain she hadn't crossed over their scent markers yet, but just to make sure, she padded away from the bush where she had fallen asleep. She searched for the scent marker that she had found earlier, and when she did, she noticed that she was outside the border. But just barely. Sakura sat down a little ways from the scent marker and waited. Maybe there would be one or two cats that came to check this side of the border. Basilwhisker padded past the stream after taking a drink and padded on. He decided to check the border on the far side of the territory unsure if it had been checked since the dawn patrol. As he approached the border he smelled another cat. "Hello." He said cautiously his senses on alert in case he was attacked. Turtlepool Pineclaw"I'm sure we could find ways to ease his burden without it feeling like we are taking away everything he is meant to do." Turtlepool said. She licked her paw and wiped it across her face. Wishkit and GazekitWishkit giggled as Wolfkit and Weaselkit went back and forth about who did the work for them to win against Honeypaw. "I think we all did equal jobs beating the beast" she sqeaked proudly and dipped her head to each kit. Then she looked at Foxkit. "Of course we can check the camp while those two get checked out. Where should we start?" Gazekit walked back to where his nests were set up and thought for a second before grabbing some moss. "If your ear is scratched we should probably get that cleaned up and the bleeding stopped before anything else." He said hoping the other kits had made it to his "den". Snowdapple and CoalkitAfter Snowdapple put the mouse in the freshkill pile she went to find Coalkit. She knew the kit was probably still hiding in the shadows watching the others play their game and found her doing exactly that. She nudged Coalkit out of the shadows and layed down in a patch of sunlight with Coalkit curled up by her side. IvysplashIvysplash tossed and turned in the den dreaming about Dolphin the loner tom who he and Snowdapple had lived with before they had made it to the clan. There had been a fox attack before the three cats had even made it to the territory and Dolphin was badly hurt and died before they could get help. He felt guilty that his sister's mate hadn't survived and he lost sleep over it. "Dolphin" he muttered. |

Mother Dark Sakura looked up to see a tom walking her way. "Hello," she replied, standing up as she said it. She growled under her breath, pacing along the border. "I hope you aren't as protective of your precious territory as I hear..." she mewed, glancing at the tom before taking her pacing just inside the territory. Basilwhisker froze. "I was fine until you stepped over the border. Please go back over and we can talk about what you need from the clan." He stood his ground and waited for the she-cat to either back up or probably just attack him. "This is Thymeclan territory and I will defend it with my life if I have to." he growled. |

Mother Dark"Hmm, that's what I thought. 'I will defend it with my life if I have to,'" she chuckled, aware that the tom could attack her now that she was in his territory. She thought about attacking him, though that might end badly, as she didn't know whether he was really alone or not. She decided just to take a few more steps in Thymeclan territory, as he had called it, and see how it went from there. "What is it that you want?" Basilwhisker growled and tensed as Sakura stepped further into the territory. He didn't want to attack her in case she wasn't alone but he had to keep the clan safe. "At least tell me your name and why you're here. There is plenty of territory outside our borders for you to hunt and live in" he added trying to reason with the other cat. |

( Mother Dark) Sakura paused as the cat asked for her name. She hadn't really planned to tell anyone, and she thought of just faking a name. But eventually, she just said, "Sakura, and I realize that there is land other than this. I just feel bored and wanted to cause some trouble." She hadn't actually realized she had said that much until it was out of her mouth and in the air. She gasped slightly, hoping this tom wouldn't take it badly. Then she asked, "Well, what your name?" |

"My name is Basilwhisker and I don't want any trouble." He said. He sat down and tried to think of anything else he could reason with Sakura about instead of having to fight her off. "I would really appreciate it if you would step back across the border. Unless you intend to come join the clan." He said decidedly

( Mother Dark) "Hmm, I might. I'm clearly itching for a fight," she stated, glancing down at her claws, which were still unsheathed. "Though, since your an 'almighty clan cat', you could have other cats hiding behind me. I'll attack when the right moment comes," she says, whisking her tail over her paws. |

( Mother Dark) "Ok, good point," she mewed, cocking her head. Sakura sniffed the air just to be sure, but all she smelled was Basilwhisker and maybe a mouse hidden in the bushes. She glances up at the branches that hung above her and Basilwhisker. Then, without saying a word, she leapt up onto the lowest branch, which was about a fox-length of the ground. Looking back down to the tom, she thought for a moment about jumping down on top of him. |

( Mother Dark) "Ok, good point," she mewed, cocking her head. Sakura sniffed the air just to be sure, but all she smelled was Basilwhisker and maybe a mouse hidden in the bushes. He said. He apppeared to be calm but was bracing himself for the other cat to come down on his head. He flicked his tail back and forth impatiently as he waited to see what she would do next. |

( Mother Dark) She grinned, noticing his tense stance. Then, she mewed, "You look like you're itching for a fight as well... Why don't I give it to ya!" And just like that, she yowls before leaping down onto his shoulders and digging her claws in to hang on. |

Basilwhisker yowled. "I wasn't looking for q fight but I knew one was going to happen." He growled through gritted teath snd fell to the side. He tried to roll to his back to get the other cat off of him. He screeched in pain and fury as the other's claws tore into his back.

( Mother Dark) Sakura pushed the tom away as she felt him try to crush her. Then leaping up and stepping back, she glanced at him, claws outstretched. "Well that was interesting," she mewed, moving to circle the tom. |

( Mother Dark ) Sakura pushed the tom away as she felt him try to crush her. Then leaping up and stepping back, she glanced at him, claws outstretched. "Well that was interesting," she mewed, moving to circle the tom. Basilwhisker turned with SAkura trying to keep the she-cat in his gaze and waiting for her to attack again. Hoping that either she would leave or another clan cat would come back him up. He was breathing heavier and his back stung where he was bleeding. He shook out his fur and winced. "Interesting is one word for it" |

( Mother Dark) "Hmm," she responded, before turning at the sound of a rustle in the bushes behind her. She turned her attention to the bush, completely forgetting what she had been doing previously. She crouched, sniffing the air to try and find out what it could be. |

Basilwhisker took the chance that Sakura was distracted and climbed up a nearby tree. He sat and watched from his branch to see what the rustling of the bush was. The scent of his blood the only thing he could pick out.

( Mother Dark) She leaped into the bush, trying to scare the thing away. A bird squawked and flew away as she landed. "Stupid bird," she muttered under her breath. Then, she suddenly remembered why she was here and that she had turned her back on an enemy. She growled, turning back to where she had left Basilwhisker. She stopped, seeing as he wasn't there anymore, crouched and glanced around. "Where are you? I wasn't finished," she smirked. |

"Hello." Basilwhisker said with a chuckle. "I'm not gonna do what you did and I'm done fighting. I will ask you one more time either join us or leave." He said with confidence. He was sure she was going to stay just so he had to fight her some more but this way if she couldn't get to him he was safe until hopefully someone else could back him up.

( Mother Dark) Sakura yowled with laughter. "Ok, one, I already told you that I would rather die than join your stupid clan. And two, you had better hope someone comes to save your precious skin," she says, sitting down to groom her ruffled fur. She didn't think anyone would be here to save this clan cat, so she stayed put. |

"You're gonna get bored eventually of sitting and waiting for me to come down." Basilwhisker taunted. He began to try his best to reach the clawmarks on his back to get them clean. The wounds had stopped bleeding but would likely reopen if he were to fight Sakura again.

Basilwhisker climbed down from the tree and began to follow Sakurs through the trees. "Hey come back here." He said pouncing on her.

( Mother Dark) Sakura fell as Basilwhisker pinned her down, assuming he wasn't going to hurt her. She struggled to look up at him, then mewed, "What are you gonna do now? Drag me to the border?" She attempted to claw at his underbelly, but he had her pinned in a way that she could barely move. |
