Darkclaw - with Sootscruff
Darkclaw slowly turned towards Sootscruff, ears twitching at the sound of her leaving the den. "Nothing much," he meowed. "I think I'll go and hunt a little if I'm not needed for a border patrol." He cast another brief glance towards the nursery and shook his head with an amused snort. "They don't look like they'd be a filling meal." But now that she mentioned it, maybe he could pay the kits a visit. They hadn't played with any 'badgers' today after all. "Nah, I'm just thinking about how many cats we'll have to train soon. Once the younger kits are six moons old I'll be old enough to be a mentor myself." He cocked his head slightly, looking curious at the she-cat. "What about you? Any hopes that Cherrystar will give you an apprentice? The older kits are almost ready, you know."
Silverpaw - with Flickerpaw, Pinepaw and Gazekit
Silverpaw flicked his tail and nodded with a purr as Coalkit went to join the other kits at the rabbit and then turned back to Flickerpaw. At the she-cat's question he gave an eager nod, a slight hint of pride in his eyes. "I sure have! It was me and Basilwhisker, my mentor, who led him and his friend here," he told her. He gestured with his tail towards the small group of cats about to leave camp. "See that grey tom over there? That's Storm. It's his fault he and Brightpaw were trespassing in the first place. Way too eager in finding a new home for his friend. I don't know them well of course but between the two of them Brightpaw is the voice of reason." He gave a good-natured chuckle. "Your brother helped me and Basilwhisker in expanding the apprentices' den, by the way. We got him to talk a little about his old clan." Silverpaw then looked her over and smiled. "So you're another Ridgeclan cat, huh? Did you travel here all by yourself?"

Flickerpaw | Silverpaw, Pinepaw, Gazekit
Flickerpaw purred eagerly at all the things that Silverpaw was telling her about her brother. "That's cool! Where is the apprentice's den anyway?" She asked, taking a glance at all the dens trying to figure it out. She turned back to Silverpaw as he asked her a question. "Yup! Well, mostly. I met some rogues a while back who said they had seen a cat who looked like me pass through with Storm," She turned her head to look at Storm for a brief second. "But then I found Webwillow, and she brought me here!" She purred enthusiastically.
Pinepaw | SIlverpaw, Flickerpaw, Gazekit
Pinepaw listened as the two cats talked. She widened her eyes in interest as Flickerpaw talked about she had gotten to Thymeclan. "That sure sounds like a long journey. Did you eat already?" She asked, just the thought of walking so far made her stomach growl.

Silverpaw - with Flickerpaw, Pinepaw and Gazekit
Silverpaw turned slightly so he was facing the apprentices den, which sat a few paces away. "That one over there," he meowed to Flickerpaw and pointed it out by flicking his tail. "It was much smaller yesterday. We had to remove quite some branches." He shrugged and purred. "We would have expanded it anyway since we're getting a bunch of new apprentices next moon but our guests gave us a good reason to do so earlier." He then looked at the two she-cats again and listened as Flickerpaw told them about her journey. "That must have been difficult", he whispered, sounding impressed. "There are so many dangers out there, especially when you're alone." At Pinepaw's question he nodded. "Oh, good point! Well, have you? We can share some prey with you if you want."

I have all of my characters open.
For Loststories the character would have to go to him because he's unable to leave the elders den. If ya want a story then the more the merrier. XD
Wovensight had gone out hunting while Malvina is sitting outside the nursery while Pheasantkit and Gazellekit are play fighting nearby.
Geyserscreech is just laying around after getting back from patrolling the borders. He hunted a bit on the way back as well.))

Flickerpaw | Silverpaw, Pinepaw, Gazekit Flickerpaw nodded when Silverpaw showed her the Apprentice's den. "Alright! Wait...Does that mean there are other apprentices!?" She asked, excitement in her voice. Flickerpaw's eyes went dark for a second when Silverpaw mentioned how many dangers there were. "Yeah, it was tough at times..." She perked up when Pinepaw asked about prey. "I already had a piece of prey, but thanks anyways!" She purred happily. Forestfur still waiting on a reply for Smokeshade!)) |

"Sure. I'll take a couple bites." Petalpaw said to the Thymeclan warrior. "My name is Petalpaw. Whats yours?" She asked brightly. She layed down to one side of the mouse and took a small bite.
Frostfeather with Blackscale
Frostfeather had been walking looking at the ground as she left camp. The hiss startled her and she looked up sharply her fur puffing up. "Oh Blackscale. Its just me... Frostfeather." She said making her fur lie flat and giving the tom a friendly smile.
Wishkit with Weaselkit, Wolfkit, and Foxkit
Wishkit fell off of Weaselkit with a big oof. She landed on her butt and frowned. "Hey why'd you push me off?" She whined to her friend. She hopped around and sighed as she sat down again.
Gazekit with Pinepaw, Silverpaw,
and Flickerpaw
The kit looked at the apprentices and tried to stand a little taller. "Yeah there are more apprentices. There's Haypaw and Heatherpaw, Rainpaw and Windpaw, Jaypaw, and Poppypaw. Rainpaw and Windpaw are the apprentices with Storm." Gazekit said with a beaming smile.
Ivysplash and Nutshine
Ivysplash nodded and sniffed the air. " i smell a rabbit and a couple of shrews. " he sais with a purr. His fur brushed against hers one more time before he started tracking down a shrew

Crescent-Forest-Snow,Feather,Cenra Crescent looked to the new cat that was present. His fur bristled a bit but it died down when he saw that the other two knew the other she cat. He gave a nod of greeting to her. "Thank you you allowing me to stay with you all," he said to them. The tom looked at them as he watched them talk. He wasn't sure if he would join in this new clan but it certainly was starting to sound interesting. |

Nutshine | Ivysplash
Nutshine nodded, fully focused on the rabbit as she started to stalk up to it, wiggling her haunches before pouncing onto the rabbit and killing it with a swift bite to the neck. She picked it up proudly and buried it with her other prey. She parted her jaws, but could only scent the shrew that Ivysplash had gone to hunt. She sat down and waited for Ivysplash to return, enjoying the sensation of the wind blowing through her fur and the sun beaming down onto her face.

Flickerpaw chuckled as Gazekit tried to stand taller. "Wow. That's a lot of other apprentices!" She mewed, her eyes wide with surprise. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws, looking around to try and spot all the apprentices.

"From outside our clan you mean?" Silverpaw meowed as Flickerpaw asked about there being more apprentices. "Yeah, there were some in Silverrose's group so we really needed the extra space last night." He nodded and gave a understanding mew. "Oh well, you're here now and you'll have a real home soon enough. I'm sure they'll find a good place for the new clan." When Gazekit tried to stand taller he purred and nodded. "We sure have a lot right now. And next moon there'll be six more apprentices!" He gestured towards the eating and playing kits and towards Gazekit.

Snow nodded and smiled. "Crescent this is Cenra. And you're welcome to join the clan with us. I'm sure they have room for all of us." She nodded to Cenra waiting for the other she-cat to take off to the gorge to lead the clan cats to their new home. "Hopefully they are all nice."
Ivysplash with Nutshine
Ivysplash struck the shrew with his paw and stunned it when he finally tracked it down. He headed back to where he and Nutshine split up. He saw her burying the rabbit and purred. "Good job"
Petalpaw with Adderbite
"Well I'm 10 moons old and I travelled here with my family. We used to live in a clan named Phoenixclan. We were the only ones we knew of that escaped from the twolegs that kept taking our cats. My aunt, Silverrose, is going to be the leader of our new clan and in two moons she will give me and my brothers our warrior name." Petalpaw explained to Adderbite. She took another bite of the mouse and pushed it toward the other cat.
Frostfeather with Blackscale
Frostfeather watched Blackscale as he calmed himself down. "I was about to go fishing again. Would you like to join me?" She offered knowing the tom would probably say no. She didn't know much about him but knew that he tended to keep his distance from others.

"Phoenixclan? Strange name. But cool." She quickly added, she was going to ask what a phoenix was before Petalpaw mentioned two-legs, causing Adderbite to frown, "I'm sorry that kept happening to you, I know what it's like. My mother was taken when I was younger." She was going to say more but cut it short and took a bite of the mouse instead.
Blackscale with Frostfeather:
He thought about it, mainly because he was also heading out to fish as well but that would mean having to make conversation with her, something he wasn't really keen on, "No. I enjoy fishing alone."
He didn't give her a chance to reply as he'd turn and left to head out towards the pond.

The molly was quite taken aback that Darkclaw hadn't reacted negatively towards her joke. She believed that most cats were too protective over the little creatures so she took this as a sign that she could be more relaxed around the tomcat. "I could tag along if you'd like!" she meowed. "After all, I am quite the fine hunter..." Sootscruff let out a purr of enthusiasm, She prided herself as a hunter and made sure her clanmates knew that she wasn't one to come back from hunting empty-handed. She met his gaze as she stepped in front of him, her ears perking up at the thought of having an apprentice. "Well... maybe." the she-cat murmured. She did fancy the idea of having another cat under her wing but wasn't sure if she'd be able to handle an apprentice. "I mean, if I did they would probably be the best apprentice out there!" she said to boost her ego. She couldn't let people think she felt this way about herself. After all, Sootscruff knew she had the potential to be a good mentor. |

Petalpaw with AdderbitePetalpaw sighed as Adderbite said her mother was taken by twolegs. "I'm sorry. Its hard to lose those you care for. We lived right by a twoleg place. You guys are lucky there isn't one close by. I think it was a few days travel from here." The apprentice said. She took one last small bite of the mouse leaving the rest for her new companion. Frostfeather OPENAs Blackscale walked away Frostfeather sighed. She started to walk toward the pond too but changed her mind. She headed for a stream that was closer to the camp. Once there she sat down at its edge and started watching for fish. She kept her ears perked up listening for other cats and danger. Marshkit with Malvina Zz) Marshkit finished cleaning his brown patched pelt and stumbled over to his mother. He purred and rubbed against her. "Hello Momma. What are you doing today?" He purred.

"I think it would be fine if we hunted during this border patrol. We do that all the time anyway." She looked around for her mentor. "Cherrystar did say we should check with our mentors first though to see if its okay with them." She walked over to Ebonyflame who was talking to one of the newcomers. She waited until they were finished speaking for the time and then spoke. "Hey Ebonyflame. Cherrystar said to ask our mentors if its okay for Rainpaw and I to take Wrenwillow, Melonburr, and Storm on a border patrol. She said its fine as long as we get permission from you and Hollowsky." She paused and watched her mentor to see any sort of reaction. Feather with Snow, Cenra and Crescent Ember34 Mother Dark Pineclaw ) Feather was twitching with excitement at the thought of joining the clan. "Yes of course we should join. And they should be greatful to us for finding this nice camp for them. It has plently of room for all sorts of cats." She bounded around a little bit and sighed. "Cenra if you wanna go meet them and bring them here you can. Crescent and Snow and I can stay here and prep for their arrival. She raced into the entrance of the camp and looked around for spare moss. Not finding any she raced back out. "I'm going to go collect some moss from that super mossy clearing near here." Webwillow OPENWebwillow sat in camp wondering what she could do. She had gone hunting and found Flickerpaw. She could go back out and hunt again since all she got was the rabbit in her last hunt. She glanced around to see if there was anyone she could go hunting with. Elmdapple with Haypaw and Houndearʙʀᴀᴄᴋᴇɴꜱᴜɴ ♞ )) Elmdapple scented the air and nodded. "Go ahead and shoe us how you make the kill." He said to his apprentice. He was proud of the young tom for adapting to his weak sense of smell. He watched the young apprentice and made notes of what he could change to be better.

Cenra - with Snow, Feather and Crescent (briefly), with Cherrystar's patrol and Apple
Cenra gave a delighted purr and nodded. "Alright, I'll go and tell them. I'll also tell Apple about Crescent so we're all in agreement," she meowed before quickly making her way out of camp. She then raced to the clearing where they had met the patrol and followed their scent to the gorge. "Good news, everyone!" She yowled as she got closer to them and finally came to a stop beside Apple. "They all agreed," she whispered to him. "We also have a potential new member, a tom named Crescent." Then she turned towards Silverrose and her group. "I think we have a good place for your clan - if you'll accept five new members, that is," she meowed cheerfully.
Darkclaw - with Sootscruff
"Sure, more prey for the clan then," Darkclaw meowed as he got to his paws and nodded. He hadn't been on too many patrols with Sootscruff or had talked with her much otherwise so he had no real reason to turn down her offer. Upon hearing her remark about her potentially training an apprentice he purred lightly. "I'm sure there are some other cats who would say the same about their mentoring skills. Quite some competition, huh?" He took a quick moment to stretch himself before he began to pad towards the camp's entrance. Glancing back at Sootscruff he meowed "Any specific place you want to hunt at?", ready to let the more experienced warrior pick out a location.
(Getting used to a new keyboard so there might be some typos. I'm just glad that I spotted the worst one: writing 'squick' instead of 'quick'  ) |

Petalpaw reminded her of herself when she was her age, excited and ready for the life of a warrior.
Even now she still feels that excitement of being one.
"Best warriors, huh? Sounds like we might have a future deputy at our paws." She chuckled as she stretched.
Blackscale: OPEN
Blackscale had spent most of his day at the pond fishing. He'd managed to capture three fish as well as a frog.
He decided to rest for a bit at the shallow end of the pond, laying in the waters with his head resting on the soft grass at the edge. He let out a small purr at the comfort.
Nothing but peace and quiet.

Webwillow OPENWebwillow sat in camp wondering what she could do. She had gone hunting and found Flickerpaw. She could go back out and hunt again since all she got was the rabbit in her last hunt. She glanced around to see if there was anyone she could go hunting with. Ratnose sulked into camp, all that hunting and for what? A measly mouse! Still, it was better than no prey. He brought the mouse over to the pile and let out a sigh as he looked at the rest of the kill. An apprentice could catch more than him. "Some warrior I am." He sighed again before spotting Webwillow glancing around, "Hi Webwillow. Are you looking for someone?" |

She gave a huge huff at Darkclaw's comment about her possibly mentoring of an apprentice. Of course, she would no doubt be the best at training an apprentice! I mean, would she? Once she could feel herself doubting her capabilities, she shook her head to clear her thoughts. "Well, when I say it, I mean it," she meowed with a purr rumbling in her throat to try and mask her obvious uncertainty. Sootscruff followed quickly behind the tom, breaking into a trot as he got further away. Once she got closer, she tilted her head to the side as she wondered where to go. "An obvious spot would be the Meadow," she pointed out to Darkclaw. "Plenty of prey to catch and bring back to the clan! We could even see who manages to bring back the most..." The Meadow was the best option given the amount of prey that could be found there and nothing was better than a challenge.
(ooc: wanna decide who brings back the most prey ahead of time if darkclaw accepts the challenge? either way is fine with me, kinda wanna knock sootscruff down a peg by having darkclaw come back with more) |

Apple smiled when Cenra made it back to the big group. He nodded when she said the others agreed and gave his approval of Crescent joining them. "Shall we look around here any longer to find some useful information about it or should we all follow Cenra now?" He asked looking around the Gorge.
Silverrose with Cherrystar's patrol, Apple, Cenra, and Moonwhisp
Silverrose had been wandering the gorge as they waited for Cenra to come back. When the she-cat yowled that there was good news she turned and headed back toward the group. "That is good news. And of course we are willing to take in 5 new members. As long as they are are willing to follow the warrior code." She looked at Apple when he asked the question and then at Cherrystar for guidance.
Petalpaw with Adderbite
Petalpaw blushed. "I don't know about deputy but I would love to become one of my leader's closest warriors. I want to be trusted with the most sensitive tasks and be looked up to by all the cats in the clan." She beamed and then relaxed. "What about you? What sort of role do you want to play in your clan?"
Melonburr and Wrenwillow with Storm, Rainpaw and Windpaw
Melonburr nodded as Windpaw spoke. "Of course. Go ask your mentors" he said before the young she-cat left. He sat and waited patiently for her to return.
Wrenwillow watched Windpaw walked away and nodded to herself. "So Storm. Do you think you're going to join the clan? Or will you become a loner around here?" She asked curiously.

Darkclaw - with Sootscruff "The meadow it is, then," Darkclaw agreed as they left camp. Choosing the direct route to the hunting grounds he listened as Sootscruff spoke, grinning slightly at her suggestion. He didn't know how he would fare against her, mainly because they hadn't been on a hunting patrol together before since he had become a warrior. The last time they had hunted in the same group was when he still was an apprentice so testing his skills against her now would be a fun challenge. "Alright, I'll take you on," he meowed, clearly enjoying the idea of having some competition.
( ｓｐｏｒｅ sounds good to me! I'm fine with either outcome but if you want Sootscruff to end up catching less let's do that.) Storm - with Melonburr, Wrenwillow, Rainpaw and Windpaw Storm nodded as Windpaw went to ask her mentor and then turned to Wrenwillow as she spoke. He blinked in surprise at the idea of becoming a loner around here. So far he had thought he would either join the clan or continue traveling on his own. The possibility of staying somewhere nearby hadn't even occured to him. "Hm... I'm not sure yet," he answered truthfully. "If it's possible I'd try to live with the clan for a while to see if it's a good life for me. Brightpaw doesn't need me anymore now that he has found a new clan. Haypaw focused on his prey, shaking his haunches to-and-fro before darting at it, trapping it into his paws and swiftly biting it.
He then lifted his head up proudly and strode over to Elmdapple. "Did you see that! Was it okay..?"
HEATHERPAW
Heatherpaw sat lazily on the ground, piercing the floor with her claws in boredom. She then sensed a pair of eyes on her, and snapped her neck up, making eye contact with Ripplefur. She felt a prickle of joy at the opportunity to rid herself of the boredom she felt as she stood up and trotted her way to the she-cat.

Sootscruff | Warrior | 22 moons | leaving camp with Darkclaw Pineclaw
"Good!" the molly chirped. "At least you're not a bore!" She then broke into a sprint, exiting the camp and dashing through the vast expanse of the woods. She loved the feeling of the dirt on her paws and how it made her feel alive, her excitement almost bursting right out her chest. Occasionally she would glance over her shoulder to see how far off Darkclaw was from her. As they approached the Meadows, she slowed her pace, taking in the fresh air of her surroundings. "Here we are!" she meowed before coming to a stop and turning to face the tom. |

Elmdapple beamed as he watched Haypaw. He also glanced at Houndear to see if he had seen the apprentice's impressive catch. "Great job. You were very quick with your catch." He didn't see anything wrong with what Haypaw had done with his hunting technique. "Try to listen for more prey around here."
