Gazekit with MalvinaGazekit sat down in front of the nest Malvina and the kits were in. "I'm doing quite well today. Especially as its only a matter of thyme until I become Icewhisper's apprentice. How are you this morning?" He wrapped his little silver tail around his paws as he excitedly kneeded the ground below him. "I'm doing fine. Just a bit tired is all." She gave a small chuckle at his kneading. "Are you excited to be an apprentice?" |

She gave each of them and Marshkit a lick on the head to get them to settle down before returning her attention back to the tom. "I'm sure you'll do fantastic as a medicine cat, really. Icewhisper will be lucky to have you and I'm sure you'll make them very proud." Her stomach suddenly growled then and she gave a small chuckle. "Sorry, I haven't eaten yet." |

Haypaw flailed his pale tail about with anticipation, eager to start his training. Even though his partially blind nose meant he lacked behind in certain areas, he hoped he could still fulfill his duty as a good apprentice in the clan.
Padding towards his mentor, he noticed that he was talking to Houndear. Hoping not to be too severe of an interruption, he purred loudly, trying to catch Elmdapple's attention. A streak of anxiety shot through him, and he wondered whether it was okay to disturb such important warriors. He persisted with the purring anyway.

The she-cat looked up at the tom and fave a soft smile, silently thanking Starclan for having someone visit her so she wouldn't have to wake her kits by getting up. "That would great. I'm really in the mood for a nice, plump, juicy mouse.

Gazekit nodded and stepped out of the den. He went over to the freshkill pile and looked for the biggest freshest mouse he could find. Picking it up he trotted back to the nursery and stepped in. He set the mouse carefully in front of the queen. "I think your kits are almost as big as my littermates and I were when they were born. That means they can play soon." He said excitedly.

Snowdapple with Ophelia Copperstar☂) Snowdapple had started to lick her paw when Ophelia spoke. She paused and set down her paw and looked over at the kits. "The little calico thats playing in the group, the silver tomkit thats still blinking sleep out of his eyes, and the black kit playing with those apprentices." She said pointing out her kits. She purred. "Their names are Wishkit, Gazekit, and Coalkit. They are all I have left of my mate, Dolphin. I do have a new mate named Wovensight. He's over there" she pointed off in the direction her new mate was in. Coalkit with Silverpaw and Pinepaw Pineclaw and Copperstar☂) Coalkit watched as Silverpaw ducked and then collided with Pinepaw in the air. She had wide eyes as she watched the two play fight. Wishkit with Weaselkit, Wolfkit, and Foxkit Pineclaw) Wishkit ran to where the ball landed near her and picked it up before flipping over and performing a belly rake on it. She then launched it with her feet toward Foxkit. "I bet they will show you how to pounce on your enemies first. Or something defensive since we are easier targets than warriors." She said rolling from her back to get to her feet slowly. Gazekit with Malvina Zz) Gazekit nodded and stepped out of the den. He went over to the freshkill pile and looked for the biggest freshest mouse he could find. Picking it up he trotted back to the nursery and stepped in. Turtlepool OPENWaking with a start Turtlepool got up out of her nest and turned a few times. She thought about going back to sleep but her body was just awake enough that she was unable to do so. She stepped out of the elder's den and settled near its entrance to sleepily watch the clan wake up. She got up and went to the freshkill pile to grab a fish to eat and layed back down by the entrance of her den. Frostfeather OPEN Frostfeather sighed through her fish tails as she carried them to the fresh kill pile and dropped the fish there. She had enjoyed teaching Jaypaw how to fish. She went and layed down watching as the young she-cat padded off. She started to bathe and looked around for someone else to teach fishing to. Basilwhisker OPENBasilwhisker was in his nest sleeping soundly and he continued to do so as his sister and some of his denmates got up and left their nests. He had gone out late in the night to hunt because he had been unable to sleep with the excitement of the day before. Ivysplash with Nutshine Copperstar☂) Ivysplash grunted. He was well aware of the new cats in camp. "Its a little weird but they've only been here overnight so they haven't had a chance to bother me yet." He said biting into his squirrel. Poppypaw with Sakura Robinbreeze) Poppypaw immediately brought her tail to her side and stalked toward Sakura some pretending she was going to jump on her. She stopped halfway to her. "So right now I've got speed on my side right? But not really much else." She asked her mentor while moving to sit down and wait for further information. Apple with Cenra Pineclaw) Apple sighed with relief glad he wasn't the only one feeling a little lost. "I don't recognize it either but as long as we aren't in the clan's territory I'm fine with it." He sniffed a few times scenting for other cats or prey. "It smells like the prey runs well here though." Snow with Crescent and Feather Ivy and Ember34) Snow nodded. "Apple and I were originally from an area near a twoleg place but rouged started attacking us all the time so we left our friends and home there and wound up here a couple of moons ago." Snow said bending to lick the fur on her chest. She shivered at the thought of the rogues and reminded herself she was safe here. Wrenwillow and Melonburr with Windpaw and Rainpaw Featherstar) "I suppose if Cherrystar agrees I could be convinced to go on a border patrol with the two of you." Wrenwillow said happy to be included in something she hadn't done in a long time. Melonburr nodded his agreement. "I would like to see some of your territory and its been a couple moons since we've done anything as normal as a border patrol." He said watching as Rainpaw scrambled off to talk to Cherrystar. Mistpaw with Ebonyflame Robinbreeze) The apprentice nodded. "Freedom is pretty great. I've had a lot of freedom since we started traveling. Very little need for the more boring aspects of training. But then again very little training with the six of us always moving." He said at first perking up at the excitement of his freedom and then shrinking down when he realized why. Petalpaw with Cedarcreek Mothdapple) Petalpaw followed after Cedarcreek hoping he would be kind to her if she failed to catch something or if her catch was smaller than his. She was usually a fairly confident cat but she faltered in this new strange place. Silverrose and Brindlepaw with Cherrystar, Brightpaw, Swallowbreeze, and Minty Robinbreeze and Pineclaw) Silverrose followed after Cherrystar scenting the air for other cats. "Maybe if we find a loner they might be able to point us in the correct direction." She thought out loud looking at the other leader for approval. Brindlepaw nodded at his aunt's idea and he started to wander off a little bit. He scented the air and looked around for anything that might lead to a camp.

"I grew up around this area. Or more exactly the area on the far side of the clan territory. I've always been curious about the clan and I've talked to them a few times from our side of their border." Feather said getting excited at the chance to make a new friend.
Elmdapple stopped talking when he heard a loud purr. "Hello Haypaw. Is there something you need? I was just asking Houndear if he wanted to go hunting." He turned to face Haypaw as he spoke. The apprentice seemed a little anxious so he smiled at him.
Webwillow finally got bored of sitting in camp and she started out of it. She saw Cherrystar's patrol leave and headed in the opposite direction. Carefully she picked through the forest territory unsure what she was looking for.

The queen gave a smile as she pulled the prey closer and dug in, getting about half of it down in quick, large bites before she let herself slow down. "Thank you Gazekit." She got the words out after swallowing, feeling a lot better after having gotten something in her belly. At the comment about her kits the queen turned her gaze to the three, a soft expression crossing over her features as she did. "Yeah, I guess they are already getting to that age. It feels like their still only newborns but they're already 2 moons old. It's an odd feeling."

"I'm sure thats how Snowdapple feels about Wishkit, Coalkit, and I. But instead of two moons old we're almost apprentices. Its gonna feel empty in here with just you and your kits, Snowdapple, and the new queen Cherrystar allowed to come in camp. I don't know her name yet since she came in yesterday and is sleeping in the extension of the nursery." Gazekit said. He sat back down and licked one of his silver paws and wiped it across his face.

"It'll feel a bit more empty for sure." At the mention of the loner queen the she-cat curled around her kits tighter, always wary of new cats because of her time as a captive and then a loner. "I don't remember what her name was though I'm pretty sure it started with an O."

She gave an idle shrug, not very interested in the loner unlike many of the clan. Some may say she was being rude to not care, but she just had different priorities and her kits were the only thing she was really interested in at the moment. That and reconnecting with her brother.
(I still have the idea that the kittypet she was mates with shows up on clan territory to be with her again though that would happen when the kits are about 5 moons old and getting close to 6. If anyone wants to claim him as a character, lol)

Gazekit didn't know what to do about Malvina's shrug and so he just moved on. "Would you tell me the story of how you made it back to the clan? I haven't heard about that yet. You must have been brave to be all by yourself like that." Gazekit said fidgiting with his paws and taking turns licking his paws and rubbing them over his face.He swished his tail back and forth and watched as MArshkit rolled over and almost kicked Gazellekit in the head on accident, only missing by a few inches.

The she-cat looked at the kit curiously, not having been asked to recall that story since before her kits were born. Her mind found it's way back to the two-leg place she had been taken to when she was kidnapped... she still remembered what the cat who grabbed her looked like as well.
"Okay then. I'll tell you, but you have to listen closely." She shifted to get more comfortable, quickly finished her mouse, and then began her tale.
The cat had been white, pure white. Normally such a color is seen as good, as pure, but not in this case. They had strange red hued eyes and their claws were black... she remembered those very well. She had been sleeping with her brother in the nursery, their mother out on a hunt to get a small break when the she-cat had snuck into the camp and over to the nursery. It had all happened so fast really, and since Malvina, then known as Smokekit, was so young she still only remembered bits and pieces of the day. Those details were in the force of the pull of teeth on her scruff, the shrill cry of her brother as he was woken up by his sister being taken, and then the cry of her mother when the she-cat thief had left the nursery only to come face to face with Pheasantwing. The thief had swatted the mother across the face before running as fast as possible, which seemed to have been fast enough.
Malvina's first true memories were of alleyways and trash, of two-legs and dogs and rogues. She had hated it there but she couldn't really remember much about her past life until her "mother" finally snapped at her and said that she should've taken the other kit instead. Malvina then forced the other to tell her and the truth and that night, when the other had gone to sleep, she ran away. Sadly, she couldn't find her way home and was forced to stay in the two-leg place, living in the garden of a kittypet tom. Over the next few seasons she tried to learn as much as she could about any form of group of cats in the area until the whispers of Thymeclan caught her attention. During this time though the kittypet and her had gotten close and become mates, Malvina even beginning to expect his kits. She finally learned of where this clan was though and knew that she had to leave to go find it, to go find her home. Parting from the tom was the hardest thing she had ever done in her life but soon she was on her way, the hours turning to days and days into weeks. Her condition slowed her down and so the journey took two weeks in total through storms, fields, forests, and hills. She met many different cats but never once did she stop, her destination already set until she at last crossed the scent markers into Thymeclan territory and was reunited with the only family she had left, her brother.
Upon finishing her story the she-cat had tears in her eyes, her mood having turned from happy to sad when she reached the point of where she had met Gazellekit, Pheasantkit, and Marshkit's father.

Pinepaw gave a yowl of alarm as she collided with Silverpaw than landed on the ground with a loud thump. "Ow..." She mewed as she staggered to get up. She shook her pelt and limped over to Silverpaw. "Are you okay?" She asked, sniffing at the other apprentice. Nutshine nodded, looking around the clearing once again. 'I just don't like so many cats in our camp. It just feels a little crowded." She meowed, bending down to take another bite of her prey. She flicked her tail as she looked around camp once again. Hollowsky is open!)) |

Gazekit sat in shock at the story. "Wow. I'm sorry that happened to you. I bet you wish you could have grown up in the clan and gotten a mentor the way your kits will get to." He said in a small voice. He couldn't imagine the pain and suffering she had gone through. "Have you heard from your old mate at all since you left him?"
Snow with Crescent and Feather
Snow mumbled her appreciation at Crescent being sorry about her and Apple's troubles. She was however more interested in Feather's answer as the friendly, rambunctious cat did seem very interested in clan life.
Snowdapple with Ophelia
"Why don't I grab us some prey. You look like you could use a good relaxing meal." Snowdapple suggested as she watched the pregnant she-cat settle down to watch the kits play.
Ivysplash with Nutshine
"It looks like a few of them are leaving. Maybe they will find a camp and their medicine cat today. The they will be leaving." Ivysplash said. Eating his prey kept him from getting on edge about the other cats. "Maybe after we eat we can go for a swim or something to get you out of camp too." He suggested.

Ophelia nodded. "Okay. That sounds nice." She meowed, lifting her head to look up at Snowdapple gratefully. She felt a sharp pain in her belly, but shrugged it off.
Nutshine nodded. "Hopefully they do," She took another bite of her squirrel, perking her ears as Ivysplash suggested going for a swim. "Okay! That sounds fun!" She purred as she ate the last few bites of squirrel. "I'm ready to go when you are!" She purred, flicking her tail happily.

"I do wish I could've grown up here. Could've gotten to know my mom and dad, to have a real relationship with my brother, and to have lived in my birthland. It hurt when I came back and found out that my only surviving kin was Wovensight." The she-cat gave a small sigh, a single tear breaking free and falling down her face as she did. "And no... I haven't heard from him in since the day we parted. I miss him so much though. He may have been a kittypet but he was strong and not in anyway heavy and lazy like most of the kittypets were. But even with his strength and size he was always so so gentle and had the kindest heart of anyone. When he found me in his garden after running away he seemed to immediately know that I needed him and went straight into caretaker mode. He hid me from that she-cat when she came searching and let me continue to stay there even after the danger had passed, which was when she got hit by a monster and died." A few more tears fell and she curled in closer to her kits. "I wish he could've come with me."

Snowdapple walked off to the prey pile and grabbed a squirrel and a couple of mice. She stood there for a second debating switching out the prey for a simple fish but didn't. She walked back over and set all three pieces of prey down waiting for Ophelia to choose which she wanted. "How far along are you?" She asked the other she-cat.
Ivysplash with Nutshine
"We should probably walk slowly to the pond since we just ate." Ivysplash said picking up the bones of his prey to bury.
Gazekit with Malvina
Gazekit nodded not knowing what to say. "You could consider Snowdapple and my littermates and I you're kin now. You know since Snowdapple and Wovensight are mates." He offered as an option. He listened to her talk about her mate and wondered why he didn't feel a loss at not getting to have a mate one day. "I don't know what you're going through but I know I'm sorry." He said gently.

Cherrystar - Forest - Silverrose, Brindlepaw, Swallowbreeze, Minty, Brightpaw, Apple, Cenra
Cherrystar nodded her head at Silverrose’s suggestion, glancing around the forest with her nose in the air. The scent of a few fresher scents stuck out to her and she pointed her tail in the direction they were coming from. “I smell a couple of loners that way, just be careful,” she mewed, leading the way. As the scent strengthened and the undergrowth thinned, she made out two pelts. “Hello?” She called, hoping not to startle the loners.
Swallowbreeze, Minty - Forest - Cherrystar, Silverrose, Brindlepaw, Brightpaw, Apple, Cenra
Swallowbreeze followed after Cherrystar, hesitating on entering the clearing the leader had walked into. She knew that having a group of cats come up to you could be scary-looking. She sat down at the edge of the clearing and glanced around. It was quite a large clearing, with a tree stump almost centered in the middle.
Ebonyflame - Camp - Mistpaw
Ebonyflame nodded. She couldn’t imagine what the group had to go through while they were traveling. It must have been an adventure and a nightmare all at once. “Well, looks like you’ll get to go back to normal training soon,” she commented, finishing off her mouse in a last quick bite.
Sakura - Training Hollow - Poppypaw
Sakura grinned. “Yes, and in most cases, you’re are a bit smaller.” She stood up and padded a few paces, which brought her right in front of the apprentice. “Right, the leap-and-hold is a great move for you. As the name suggests, you leap onto your opponent’s back and hold. Once there it’s easy to aim for their eyes or bite their scruff. Try it on me.” She crouched a little, steadying herself for the weight of the apprentice.

The molly gave him a soft look as she lifted one paw and wiped at her eyes softly. "Thanks Gazekit. I guess you guys kind of are my family now." She leaned forward and nuzzled him softly.

Silverrose and Brindlepaw
Silverrose stayed close to Cherrystar and tried to stay as calm and collected as she could. It smelled like the loners were a tom and she-cat. She waited for them to say hello.
(I'm leaving it to where Pine can reply with Cenra first and Apple can react after her.)
Brindlepaw had wandered off but then came back as he heard Cherrystar call out a hello. He stood back with Swallowbreeze and Minty not wanting to look threatening.
Mistpaw with Ebonyflame
Mistpaw finished his second mouse and stopped eating. "It was certainly something but I'm glad to get back to next to normal." He sat up and leaned back as far as he could in a stretch. "What did you look forward to most in being a warrior?"
Poppypaw with Sakura
Poppypaw nodded and primed herself to jump. She got down into a crouch and in a single bound landed on Sakura's back. She laughed when she made it but realized it was hard to balance and immediately fell off of her mentor. She rolled over to jer feet and used a paw to unruffle her fur.
Gazekit with Malvina
Gazekit beamed and nuzzled Malvina back. "You have a whole clan to be your family. And even if we didn't know you were missing we're glad that you're back where you belong." He cleaned his paws and chewed on his claws a little trying to get the dirt out of them.

Malvina
The she-cat gave a chuckle and nodded her head. "I'm not surprised I was forgotten. I'm sure no one every thought I'd be back once I was taken." The mother suddenly yawned, her exhaustion from taking care of her kits finally approaching and willing her to sleep. "I think I'm gonna take a small nap before these three actually wake up. I'll see you and your siblings later okay?"

Gazekit with Malvina
Gazekit nodded looking sad that everyone had forgotten about Malvina because they expected her never to return or even worse that she had died as Smokekit. He sighed and thought of what it must have been like to have someone break into camp and steal a kit. What it felt like to lose a littermate or a daughter. When Malvina yawned he became aware of how long they jad been talking. "Okay." He chriped. "Thanks so much for taking to me and tellibg me your story." Je said walking out of the den and trotting over to lay down next to Snowdapple and Ophelia.

Snowdapple with OpheliaSnowdapple walked off to the prey pile and grabbed a squirrel and a couple of mice. She stood there for a second debating switching out the prey for a simple fish but didn't. She walked back over and set all three pieces of prey down waiting for Ophelia to choose which she wanted. "How far along are you?" She asked the other she-cat. Ivysplash with Nutshine"We should probably walk slowly to the pond since we just ate." Ivysplash said picking up the bones of his prey to bury. Gazekit with MalvinaGazekit nodded not knowing what to say. "You could consider Snowdapple and my littermates and I you're kin now. You know since Snowdapple and Wovensight are mates." He offered as an option. He listened to her talk about her mate and wondered why he didn't feel a loss at not getting to have a mate one day. "I don't know what you're going through but I know I'm sorry." He said gently.
Ophelia watched as Snowdapple grabbed a squirrel and a couple of mice. Once Snowdapple set them down she grabbed one of the mice and took a small bite, feeling another sharp pain in her stomach. "Uhm, I think two and a half moons." She meowed, taking another bite of her mouse.
Nutshine with Ivysplash(Mother Dark)Nutshine nodded after she buried the bones of her prey. She stood up to stretch for a second before trotting over to Ivysplash. "You can lead the way!" She purred, flicking her tail and waiting for Ivysplash to lead the way. |

Silverpaw - with Pinepaw and CoalkitSilverpaw stumbled back and fell after colliding with the other apprentice. He quickly climbed to his paws and shook himself. "Oof. Sorry about that," he meowed to Pinepaw and then nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. What about you?" With an awkward smile he then glanced over at Coalkit. "So... Only do that when you have absolutely no other options and know you can take it. This is how you stun your opponent," he said, in a tone that made it clear that this was definitely not something to actually use. "And yourself."
Cenra - with Apple, Cherrystar, Silverrose, Brindlepaw, Swallowbreez, Minty and Brightpaw"It does. If we stick around we're bound to find something for the group," Cenra meowed with a nod. As she padded around the place and scented the air she suddenly froze and glanced around. "Someone's here," she whispered, sounding curious and slightly concerned. She didn't recognize most of the scents but she was sure she had smelled some Thymeclan cat. What were they doing here, outside of their territory? When Cherrystar called out to them Cenra stepped forward but not too close that she would get in trouble with those strangers. As she got a look at them she thought she had seen one of them before. As far as she knew that one was a Thymeclan warrior. "Hello," she replied carefully but kept her voice steady. She searched her memory for a name, she knew she had heard some clan names whenever she had seen some of the clan's patrols. "Wait, you are Cherrywish, aren't you? What brings you here?"
(Since she has stayed out of their territory for the past moon I think she doesn't know that Cherrystar is the leader now)
Brightpaw - with Cherrystar, Silverose, Brindlepaw, Swallowbreeze, Minty, Apple and CenraBrightpaw had looked around the clearing for a while. It wasn't suitable for a camp but it might be good for hunting. He went back to where the others were when he scented the loners and quietly went to stand beside his clanmates.

Snowdapple with Ophelia
Snowdapple grabbed the squirrel and took a bite from it as Gazekit walked up and layed down next to her. He nuzzled her kit and then continued to eat. At Ophelia's reply she nodded. "So you're going to kit soon. I can be there to help you or our medicine cat, Icewhisper, can be there to help." She said gently. She watched the other she-cat take a small bite of the mouse. "Are you okay?"
Ivysplash with Nutshine
Ivysplash got up with the bones of his prey in his mouth and buried them. Then he slowly started making his way to the pond. When they made it he stepped into the edge of the water and started to pad out into deeper water before he started to swim.
