Gazekit began to take his moss and make it into nests. He saved some off to the side ti "clean wounds".
Wishkit fell back and waited to see what the other kits would do when Honeypaw fell over.

(sorry I wasn't active for so long. I think I can be online more often again, but not as much as I would like. Have some trouble with my computer.)
Weaselkit yowled triumphantly when Honeypaw "fell" and dug her claws into her "enemy's" fur, hard enough to not fall off but not hard enough to hurt her. "Come on, we can win this! This fox is going to end up on our fresh-kill pile!" She called to the others. With a yelp she fell off of Honeypaw as the apprentice wiggled around. "Hold her down," she ordered her brother before she swatted at Honeypaw.
Wolfkit grinned when he and the others managed to topple Honeypaw over. He considered stepping away from the "fox" but decided to try and cling to her when Weaselkit fell off. At his sister's command her snorted, trying not to laugh. "What do you think I'm trying to do?"
Foxkit cheered the others on when Honeypaw fell over. Wishkit had stepped back while Weaselkit was "attacking" Honeypaw with her paws and Wolfkit was trying not to fall off of the apprentice. He purred. His siblings were allowed to play with Wishkit and Honeypaw so that meant he could play with them too. With a grin he joined them, trying to grab Honeypaw's tail while she was busy with the others.
Silverpaw sighed and did what his mentor asked of him. He knew how to do hunting crouch well enough. While the crouch itself was good enough it didn't take long for Silverpaw to start twitching his tail impatiently. Remembering that Nightwhisker was watching him he tried to stay still. Alright, just sit still, he thought to himself. But now he was focusing so much on it that he tensed up way more than he should.
Heronflight laughed. "Yes, we can look forward to it," she agreed. "Some of them need to slow down a little and some need a little more confidence but I'm sure Thymestar will choose the right mentors for them. He knows how they can reach their full potential."
Adderheart cheered when the kits launched themselves at Honeypaw. "The prey is fighting back!" she laughed. "Come on, fox, crush those meals!"
Darkclaw returned to camp with two mice, a rabbit and some moss. He dropped the prey off at the fresh kill pile and brought the moss to the nursery. "Some fresh and soft moss for the kits," he meowed. "And enough that there'll be some left if they want to play moss ball." Then he sat down a few tail lenghts away from Snowdapple and Wovensight, not wanting to disturb them, and watched as Honeypaw played with the kits.

Wishkit quickly stepped back up to attack Honeypaw when she saw the other kits were still playing. She climbed on top of the apprentice and sat as best as she could trying to not fall off.
"Thank you, Darkclaw." Snowdapple said to the warrior after he dropped off the moss to the nursery.
"I'm sure they can find a good mentor for each of the kits. Though I think Gazekit already has his sights set on his mentor." Turtlepool said with a slight snort.

As she heard his yawn she went quiet. Careful not to disturb him of his sleep. Wolfwonder carefully moved herself away from the tom and stood up. Stretching out her legs she looked around camp if anyone needed her. Moving her gaze to the camp entrance, Wolfwonder slowly padded in it's direction.

"As long as you're determined to try it doesn't matter if you aren't the best. I couldn't tell you how many times Ivysplash had to get me out of situations where other loners had me backed into a corner. I've never been a fighter but I care enough that I would put all my effort in to protect anyone in this clan." Snowdapple said starting to rant a little trying to get Wovensight to see he was okay just the way he is. Wovensight gave a small chuckle as he nodded his head. "I suppose you are correct Snow. Let's see if we can find someone to watch your kits okay? Then I'll see if you've been slacking on your hunting skills." He gave a playful smile.

Wovensight gave a chuckle and nodded once. "I would have to agree with you. Come on then, let's see if you can still hunt." He stood and began to lead the way out of camp.

Nightwhisker placed his tail across the apprentice's shoulder, slightly adjusting his form. He then took a step back to observe, yellow eyes scanning Silverpaw's body. "Silverpaw, relax." He meowed, tail tip twitching as he took in the rigid posture. "A hunting crouch is something that should come natural. You should transition smoothly into your form and move with elegance and ease. You can't think about it to much, or you're going to mess up." The black and white tom demonstrated, easily dropping to a crouch and slinking across the grass, setting his paws down quickly yet carefully, without a sound. He sat up and looked back at his apprentice.
Honeypaw yowled, batting soft paws at the kittens' ears as they attacked her. "Noooo!" She cried dramatically.

Wovensight watched the she-cat while also keeping an eye on their surroundings for any sign or movement, prey or predator. His paw-steps led him further toward the creek that bibbled through the forest toward the south and it wasn't long till he caught the scent of mouse, his tail darting up as sign to stop. "Do you smell that? Go ahead and try to catch it. I'll watch."

Wovensight smiled softly and nodded, following behind the she-cat before settling into a nice and easy pace. It wasn't long till he had caught a squirrel that tried to dart up a tree, burying it next to that very same tree. "How long are you wanting to stay out?" He spoke the question quickly over his shoulder as he continued on through the brush.

Loner Malvina: 28 moons. Malvina use to have a different name, Smokekit. When she was a kit she was kidnapped from the nursery of Thymeclan by a loner and thought to never return, but she's back. This she-cat has long, smoky brown fur with wisps of white markings under her eyes, along her legs and paws, and spiraling up her tail like smoke. Her eyes match that of a single cat in the clan, being a pure, vivid blue just like her brother's... Wovensight. She has now returned and hopes to find and reunite wit her brother, and live within her actual home. Malvina is a kind and compassionate she-cat who is also a master hunter and fighter, having had to provide and protect herself alone for many seasons since she ran away from those that kidnapped her the first chance she got. Once she proves herself to the clan she will ask that her name be change to Smoke?. She is expecting the kits of kittypet who she was mates with but had to leave behind so she could return home. Zz. Silverpaw
And this is why I hate hunting, thought Silverpaw as Nightwhisker showed him what a good hunting crouch was supposed to look like. I can't help it, he wanted to say, I can't just relax and focus on whatever I'll be trying to hunt. But that would have sounded like an excuse. So he just nodded and said "Alright, I'll try again."
For a moment he just stood still. Then he dropped to a crouch again. After a few seconds he got impatient again and couldn't stop himself from twitching his tail once. Okay, calm down, he told himself. Taking a deep breath but doing so as quietly as possible he tried to move forward a little, just a few steps. He still looked a little awkward but it was an improvement.
The kits
Weaselkit pretended to flinch when Honeypaw batted at her ears and with a soft mewl she stepped back from her. "Watch out, that fox can still fight back," she told the other kits. Then she turned back to Honeypaw and yowled "Leave our Clan alone! You can't beat warriors like us!" Foxkit jumped back when Honeypaw batted at him and the others. Then he shot forward again and this time he managed to grab her tail with his teeth. He didn't really bite her, of course. He didn't want to hurt her after all. Through a mouthful of fur he meowed "This one's not going anywhere. She can't attack the rest of the clan now." Wolfkit just laughed when Honeypaw batted at the other kits while he was still balancing on the apprentice. Not for long, though, as now it was plain impossible to not fall off of her. He rolled away from her, pretending that Honeypaw had forcefully thrown him off. When he walked back to the "violent battle" he held up his left paw. Even if he hadn't been grinning the whole time it would be obvious to everyone that he was just acting and not really hurt. "I can still bite you, you know," he purred.
Darkclaw
Darkclaw kept watching the kits and Honeypaw. For a moment he even considered joining them. He could pretend to be a badger and either help out the "fox" or try to "steal" her "prey". Then again the kits were clearly having enough fun just playing with the apprentice and another "opponent" would be a little unfair to them.
Heronflight
Heronflight nodded at Turtlepool's comment. "True enough. Not that it would be a bad thing. It's about time Sagespirit finally gets an apprentice of her own." While the medicine cat couldn't be considered old yet it had always made Heronflight a little uncomfortable that Sagespirit still hadn't taken on an apprentice. In her opinion a medicine cat should look for an apprentice as soon as possible.
Adderheart
Adderheart watched the kits some more and then decided to go out into the clan's territory again. Maybe she could hunt a bit more, she wasn't really happy with what she had caught earlier today. "Don't let that fox get anywhere near our elders," she meowed jokingly to the kits as she walked towards the camp entrance.

She paused trying to pinpoint its location and darted off after it scaring it at the last second instead of catching it.

Coalkit fell from where she had tried to pin Honeypaw. She stood and dodged the paws that came towards her as the apprentice swatted at her. She made her way towards the apprentice's belly hoping to startle her.
"Its good to see the clan moving in a good forward direction." Turtlepool said happily. "I just wonder how Thymestar will continue to keep up with the changes He does seem to be forgetting more and more." She sighed and layed her head on her paws.

The tom nodded softly before racing off after the she-cat, letting out a laugh when she scared the bird off without even getting close to it. "Well, that was a marvelous strategy. What do you call it?" He laughed again once his words were out.
(anyone have someone out who can find her?) Malvina was padding along through the trees, the scent line of the clan she had once called home only a few tail lengths behind her. Her belly hung beneath her as she moved, being careful not to hit it on anything and injure her unborn kits. She looked around slowly at the trees and brush, her eyes trying to find any signs or scents of anything to lead her to her brother.

Heronflight narrowed her eyes at that. Turtlepool was right. "At least he has a good deputy in Nightwhisker. And his senior warriors and Sagespirit will support him as well," she said. But despite her words she sounded concerned. She didn't know how many lives Thymestar still had left but no matter how many he had they wouldn't protect him from his age. If Thymestar became even more forgetful maybe it was time for him to step down and let Nightwhisker take over. anyone have someone out who can find her?) Adderheart had decided to hunt near one of the borders. A single cat wasn't enough for a real patrol but she could give it a look anyway. She didn't really expect any intruders since the scent markers were usually enough to keep strangers from their territory but it wouldn't hurt to make sure. She was nearing the border when she caught the scent of a cat. "Just my luck", she sighed. Whoever this cat was, they clearly didn't care about the scent markers. That stranger meant trouble, that was obvious to her. Still, she would at least try to catch a glimpse of them. Maybe she could scare the intruder off by herself. To her surprise the oh so dangerous intruder was a pregnant she-cat. Which didn't really make things easier for Adderheart. How was she supposed to deal with that? She couldn't just scare off an expecting queen. How would Thymestar and Nightwhisker handle this? Or any of the senior warriors? In any case, that cat probably didn't realize she was on clan territory or she would have been more wary. "This is Thymeclan-territory," meowed Adderheart, hoping her uncertainty wasn't too obvious. She tried to sound firm but not dismissive. "You should probably find some other place for you and your kits." That was when she noticed something about the smoky brown she-cat. Her eyes looked so familiar. But how could that be? Adderheart had never seen this cat before.

"Yes we do have a great support system under our leader. If only he had the ability to step down. But I think Starclan wouldn't give Nightwhisker his lives as a leader until Thymestar had used all of his." Turtlepool said in a hushed tone hoping no one else had heard her talk about the leader of their clan dying.

Great StarClan, what did I get myself into?, she thought. She had only recently become a warrior, she wasn't prepared for this! "Well, that's..." the brown tabby wasn't quite sure what she should say. The loner looked so happy that Adderheart didn't want to tell her that she couldn't just believe her without question. "Look, I've never seen you before so I'm not sure if I can just take you back to camp," she meowed finally. There was no hostility in her voice, just uncertainty and some curiosity. "Something about you does look familiar, though. Do you know you brother's name? I mean, what he was called when you... when you lived here?"
