Basilwhisker missed catching a rabbit but caught two mice. He collected his vole and went to where Honeypaw was waiting with two squirrels. He mumbled his approval and headed back towards camp.

(It's already been decided, but I'm also fine with the mentor-apprentice-arrangement for Silverpaw ^^ I hope I can put up starters later today (right now it's morning where I live and I'll be posting in the afternoon and evening))

"You didn't do too bad yourself." Basilwhisker said. He was thinking about eating a mouse when he got back to camp. He trotted along until they made it to camp and he set the prey in the fresh-kill pile.

(Some starters for now. I'll do the ones for Adderheart and Darkclaw later.)
Silverpaw
Silverpaw was sneaking up on a pebble and pounced on it, not caring if his clanmates were watching him or not. Not a very good training method but it was more fun than actual hunting. A pebble could neither feel, smell nor hear him approaching, unlike real prey. And, he told himself, I can still work on my technique that way. He didn't like hunting. He just didn't have the patience for it. But he also wanted to become somewhat better at it. Mostly because he didn't want to disapoint Nightwhisker. He was proud to be the deputy's apprentice, sometimes a little too proud, but he also knew that he had to work extra hard to live up to his mentor's expectations. The apprentice stopped playing with the pebble once he saw Nightwhisker returning to camp. To his relief the black-and-white tom hadn't noticed him yet, being focused on Snowdapple and Sagespirit instead. Silverpaw didn't want his mentor to think that he was goofing off. Or worse, that he didn't take his training seriously. So the silver tabby padded over to the nursery, meowed a polite greeting to everyone and then sat down a fox-length away from them, in case Nightwhisker wanted to talk with Sagespirit and Snowdapple for a while.
Wolfkit
Wolfkit awoke with a yawn and padded out of the nursery. He saw Snowdapple's kits eating a rabbit and for a moment he wondered if he could eat some of it too. He was going to ask her when he spotted Sagespirit and couldn't help but give a somewhat concerned mew. Not that he disliked the medicine cat, but he tried to avoid her as best as he could. He had already begun to suspect that there was something wrong with him and Sagespirit could probably confirm this. As long as he didn't talk to her Wolfkit could pretend that he was normal like his denmates. That this whole scent-thing was just a game the other cats were playing.
Forgetting his hunger and the rabbit that Snowdapple's kits were sharing he tried to sneak past the others, looking around after every two steps.
(I'm pretty sure some cats have already noticed that Wolfkit has no sense of smell but he likes to believe otherwise for now.)

Snowdapple dipped her head in greeting to Silverpaw. She watched her kits continue to eat and leaned down to take a bite of the prey.
Wishkit nibbled on the rabbit Snowdapple had put her in front of. She was glad for some food cause all her playing had made her hungry. She finished her food and ran off to play again. Spinning around in small circles chasing her tail and then whipping around the other cats as fast as she could.
Coalkit finished eating and settled down near her mother. She spotted Wolfkit walking away but didn't say anything. Instead she watched him for a bit and then blinked a few times and waiting to see what the others would do.
Gazekit continued to munch happily on the rabbit.

(Is she ok?) Warrior | Wolfwonder | 17 moons | A light grey molly with a white belly, paws, black ear tips, tail tip, and nose. Wolfwonder isn't the kind of cat to shut up. She takes pride in being able to resolve most conflicts. Wherever she goes, Wolfwonder gives off the 'Older Sister' vibe, constantly. She enjoys playing and entertaining the kits, as well as making new friends. She prefers to kill with kindness, and because of this can seem cowardly. Most of the time she isn't very good at picking up on social cues, which makes her seem naive and often gets her into trouble.| Rumor | Mother Dark

She would be our second wolf prefix which should be okay for now since the other is a kit. She looks good though. If you would like to make another character we do need some older warriors too))

The she-cat dipped her head at the deputy as he passed and left some prey for Snowdapple. Sagespirit contentedly watched the kits and their mother eat, her tail curled around her paws. She remembered when the kits were not much bigger than mice, and it's amazing to see how they've grown. Sagespirit greeted Silverpaw as he padded over, giving a polite nod in his direction. She noticed his glances at Nightwhisker and gave him a knowing look. She turned her attention back to Wishkit, who was back to playing and being rambunctious. She caught the scent of Wolfkit, who was trying his best to sneak by the group. She looked at him and flicked an ear, debating whether she should say anything. She had an idea of why he avoided her, and she took pity on the poor little thing. She spared him the trouble, and pretended to turn back and watch Wishkit play. Sagespirit was still going to keep an eye on him, but she wouldn't want to call him out in front of the deputy and the other kits. Another day, she thought, I'll talk to him and his mother about it more another day.

Wishkit kept running around and skidded to a halt just in time to bump straight into Sagespirit. She stepped back after the collision and looked down with guilt. "I'm sorry Sagespirit. I should be more careful of what I'm doing" she whimpered worried her mother would scold her for being careless.

Sagespirit blinked as Wishkit ran straight into her side, luckily not hard enough to knock her off balance. "Don't you worry, little one" She smiled down at the kit. "You're alright, just look where you're going next time." She smiled and leaned down closer to the kit. "You're lucky it was me and not Nightwhisker." She whispered, glancing over to him. Sagespirit knew full well he wouldn't harsh or hurt a kit, but it would get the point across. She gave Snowdapple an entertained look, and straightened herself back out, delicately re-curling her tail around her paws. "Have you seen Thymestar around this morning?" She asked Snowdapple, trying her best to hide the concern that seeped into her voice. "I've been meaning to check in with him and see if he needs any more Chamomile." Their leader was growing older, and Sagespirit was becoming more concerned with his health lately. She wanted to do her best to give him strength and keep him on his feet, but he's often pretty stubborn when it comes to his checkups.

Wishkit gulped and nodded fervently. "Yes Sagespirit." She purred before bouncing off to an open space in the clearing where she wouldn't knock into anyone.
Snowdapple tilted her head. "I think he might be in his den. I haven't really seen him leave it." She said indicating a hollow not unlike the medicine den on the other side of camp. There were old feathers that were blowing in a slight breeze from the edge of the hollow.

"Thanks, Basilwhisker!" Honeypaw meowed as she hurried past him, grabbing the vole he'd caught and carrying it over to where Palepaw was sitting in front of the apprentice's den. "Here, share this with me." She offered as she settled down to eat it. Palepaw purred a warm greeting as he saw his sister return to camp and join him with some prey. He settled across from her, tucking his paws under his chest and taking a bite of food. The two apprentices looked around camp, their gazes settling to watch the kits play. Honeypaw commented that she'd like to mentor one. "Highly unlikely," Palepaw told her with a shake of his head. "Even if we were made warriors next moon, they would likely be apprentices the moon after. We would be warriors for only a moon." He took another bite of the vole, watching the kits. His gaze focused on Wolfkit who tried to sneak around the others and he softened with sympathy for the little one. "Basilwhisker is a young mentor." Honeypaw argued with a huff. She would just have to be the most amazing warrior in that moon to prove to Thymestar that she was worthy.
Nightwhisker purred towards the kits when they ate the food he'd offered. They would all make fine warriors. Even Wolfkit, who was a bit awkward, was sure to have potential. Turning his attention to his apprentice who'd joined them and sat a few tail lengths away, the deputy stood and motioned with a flick of his tail. "Let's go, Silverpaw." He meowed and with a quick farewell to the medicine cat and queen he padded towards the forest.

Silverpaw
With his tail neatly around his paws, Silverpaw waited for Nightwhisker to be done with the cats in front of the nursery. He purred lightly when he saw Wishkit running straight into Sagespirit. Not too long ago he had been running around just like that kit, not always paying attention to his surroundings. For a short while he was watching the kits. Just two more moons and they would be apprentices which meant that he would share a den with them again. At Nightwhisker's tail-flick he jumped to his paws with a nod and an eager but respectful "Yes, Nightwhisker." and padded after his mentor. "What are we training today?", asked the young apprentice once they had entered the forest.
Wolfkit
Wolfkit had reached the fresh-kill pile without being seen by Sagespirit, at least as far as he could tell. Maybe could find something to eat here without being watched. And without being scolded for eating only a few bites. If the others would just let him he would only eat when he was really hungry. Why his clanmates enjoyed their freshkill so much and why some preffered one kind of prey over another was beyond him. He was satisfied with a small mouse, just like that one he spotted just now. With a happy purr he grabbed the mouse, walked a few steps to find a spot where neither Sagespirit nor any of the queens would see him instantly and ate. His mother would have picked out a mouse with more flesh on it for him but he prefered the more scrawny ones. At least he tended to finish them.
Adderheart
Adderheart had been up early as usual, catching some prey for the clan. She had caught a squirrel and a fat vole. Not her best hunt but certainly not her worst. And if there wasn't enough for the clan she could simply go out again and catch some more. As she entered camp she walked past Nightwhisker and Silverpaw, just as they were leaving. "Good morning, you two," she meowed brightly, dipping her head. Then she continued towards the fresh-kill pile and dropped the vole and the squirrel. As she did so she caught a glimpse of Wolfkit walking off with a scrawny mouse and narrowed her eyes. For a second she considered talking to him about his odd behavior but decided against it. The kit clearly didn't want to talk about it and she wasn't the right cat to force his "secret" out of him.
Instead she grabbed something from the fresh-kill pile, a small bird, and sat down near the warriors den to enjoy her meal. Every so often she glanced towards the apprentices den. She always wondered what is what like to train one and it was something she sometimes asked the current mentors about. Maybe she could train one of the kits once they were old enough? But then again she and Darkclaw were the youngest warriors and the kits would probably get some more experienced warriors.
Darkclaw
Darkclaw walked out of the warriors den and watched his clanmates for a second. Some of the other warriors had been out in the forest already and he planned on catching some prey for the clan too. He didn't mind hunting in the early morning but he didn't think too many warriors out of camp at the same time would be good for the clan. But now he could probably leave. Maybe he could stop by the nursery for a bit before he did, though. He loved spending time there, simply watching the kits or playing with them. Looking for a mate and having kits of his own was never on his mind, though. Some clanmates joked, in a good-natured way, that he should have never left the nursery after his kithood, since he spent every free moment with the kits.
He trotted over to the nursery and stopped near Snowdapple and Sagespirit. "Good morning," he greeted them and turned his gaze towards the kits. "Too bad they're growing so fast," he joked, refering to the fact that they were getting too big for badger-rides. More seriously and with a happy purr he nodded towards the kits and meowed "They're gonna be fantastic warriors."

"I'll leave him be, for now." The medicine cat replied to Snowdapple, sighing a bit. "But if he sleeps in any later than sunhigh he'll never hear the end of it." She said lightheartedly and shook her head. "I do suppose he needs his rest though." Sagespirit cast a sidelong glance at the fresh kill pile. She wasn't particularly hungry, but it wasn't good to wait too long to eat. Maybe I'll grab something on the way to go wake Thymestar, and fetch some for him while I'm at it. Sagespirit looked thoughtful for a second, but Nightwhisker and Silverpaw distracted her with their farewells, and she dipped her head in response. "Good luck, you two." She called after them as they headed towards the forest. Darkclaw approached her and Snowdapple, and she meowed a greeting. "Indeed they are." She replied, looking from Silverpaw to Palepaw and Honeypaw sharing a vole. "We have a strong future ahead of us."

"They are getting pretty big." Snowdapple purred. "Its just a matter of time and they're going to leave me alone in the nursery. I'm just glad Thymestar is allowing me to stay there and help other queens." She added watching as Wishkit continued to play.
Gazekit had finished eating and stumbled over. "I don't want to be a warrior" he said confidently.
Coalkit snuggled into her mother's coat

I have updated everyone in the big post. If you know anyone looking for a new rp tell them we need warriors and elders. I'm trying to avoid what I always end up doing and adding more and more characters for no real reason. Always feel free to PM me with plot ideas. I have small ideas for some of my characters like Basilwhisker finding a mate and falling in love or Thymestar falling ill and losing one or more of his lives.)))

Darkclaw
The young warrior nodded. "Thymestar knows that raising the clan's kits is just as important as catching prey and defending our territory," he said. Purring he added "Guess that will make you the clan's mother in a way. Well, I know the kits and other queens will really appreciate it." He turned towards Gazekit who seemed to have finished eating. "Not a warrior, huh? Well, you can't become an elder just yet," he teased but stopped when he noticed how confident Gazekit was about this. His playful smile turned into a more sincere one. The kit was confident about this and, as far as Darkclaw could tell, wanted to be taken seriously. "I see," he meowed with a respectful nod. "Well, Sagespirit, what do you think?"

"It also means I'm going to have a den to myself for a little bit I think." Snowdapple said looking at Gazekit now. Sh hadn't realized that he had spoken. Nor did she know that her kit didn't want to be a warrior.
Gazekit looked over at Sagespirit his eyes gleaming.
Basilwhisker stood after his meal and grooming session and padded back out of camp. He was off to who knows where and he didn't know how long he would be gone.

"You're welcome to train under me when you get old enough, if you think you could handle it." Sagespirit winked at the kit. In truth, she'd like an apprentice, and a respectful young kit like Gazekit might make a good one. She'd have to talk with Snowdapple about it, though. She gave Darkclaw a knowing look. "But really, if being a warrior isn't your thing I'd be happy to teach you." The medicine cat addressed the kit earnestly. Out of the corner of her eye, Sagespirit saw Thymestar emerge from her den and was relieved. He seemed to be doing just fine this morning, and she was worrying over him for nothing. Though that not an uncommon occurrence these days.

"We will be checking and marking the north border. After that perhaps some hunting practice." The black and white tom turned in the direction of the border. Typically a border patrol consisted of more cats, but the two of them would do just fine.

"Yay." Gazekit said. He sat still and wrapped his tail around his small body.
Snowdapple licked the top of Gazekit's head and grabbed the scraps from the rabbit to take them out of camp and bury them.
Coalkit felt exposed when Snowdapple moved snd ran to hide by the nursery.

Darkclaw
Darkclaw couldn't help but chuckle at this. "Wow. That was easy." Unless Gazekit changed his mind or Snowdapple had an issue with her son's choice Sagespirit would train him. In any case, it was probably something Snowdapple would have to think about. It was a surprise for sure but Gazekit was so confident about this that Snowdapple just had to allow him to train as a medicine cat under Sagespirit. "He sure is serious about this," he meowed to her. This, however, was all he was willing to say about it. As much as he wanted Gazekit to follow his dreams he knew it wasn't his place to convince Snowdapple.
"Well, I think I should head out now and catch some prey. If Nightwhisker sees that I still haven't left when he and Silverpaw come back he'll add me to the fresh-kill pile. Anyway, maybe I can find something for the kits too?" By that he meant moss, feathers or pebbles. Something the kits of the clan could play with.
Silverpaw
Silverpaw returned Adderheart's greeting and followed his mentor. He smiled to himself at Nightwhisker's announcement at first but had to surpress a sigh when hunting was mentioned. Still, it had to be done and at least patrolling was something he liked to do. Silverpaw knew better than to argue about it anyway. And maybe he could make some progress on his hunting skills after all. "Border patrol and hunting. Got it," he meowed more to himself than to Nightwhisker. He charged ahead for a moment but reminded himself to slow down. He couldn't just run ahead of the deputy, after all. "Sorry. Lead the way," he apologized but while he was genuine about it, it was also clear that he still had to try to contain his excitement.
(Logging off for now since it's late here.)

"You're right. He is pretty confident." Snowdapple said. She had made it back into camp in time to hear Sagespirit tell Gazekit she would train him one day. "Have a good hunt." She added dipping her head to the warrior.
Gazekit sat happily and copied Snowdapple dipping his head to Darkclaw.
Wishkit was still running around but she was now chasing a butterfly and hopping trying to catch it.
Coalkit lay near the nursery where she had hidden when Snowdapple moved.
Basilwhisker had come to a stream that bubbled through the territory. He paused to get a drink from it.
Thymestar contented himself with laying in a patch of sunlight and watching the clan around him. He yawned and curled up to take a nap.

Darkclaw
"If the prey so will it," he said with a mock-serious expression as Snowdapple wished him a good hunt, shook his head with a grin and meowed a thank you. Then he walked towards the forest, stopping shortly where Wishkit was playing and pretended to have to figure out how to get past her. After "trying" to walk around her he just jumped over her and finally left camp. For a moment he glaced back, making sure that none of the kits was trying to sneak into the forest, and started to look for prey.
(I was thinking of making some new characters. Two of them would be Wolfkit's littermates but I'll safe that for until we have more senior warriors. I could make an elder, though, and would submit her character form later today.)
