the specific alphabet/font the poll is referring to: i always thought this cursive alphabet font was really ugly and i hate the fact that the z looks like a 3. what are your thoughts on this cursive alphabet font and how does your cursive differ from these?
edit: bleas send ur cursive writing i wanna see ur d*ng cursive writing

That's what we were taught but mine slowly stylized a lot differently. Most of the time my capital letters ended up being the same as my printed letters and my zs look a little more sharp and dont overhang like that.

From what I remember, my classroom didn't have cursive posters. I was taught cursive in 3rd grade, but I think I was taught a slightly different font, because all my letters are sharper (more angular) than the ones you provided.
Also the capital "Q" didn't look like that for sure. I was taught the version that looks like a 2.

I remember having cursive posters and books as a kid. We spent a lot of time learning about cursive and how to write in it. I think I still know how to write in cursive, but I don't do it that often. I rarely write already so my handwriting is basically chicken scratch.

I learned cursive and can still technically write with it, but I never used it regularly unless forced to. I just preferred printing and found it faster. I will say that looking back as an adult, some of the cursive letters I thought look weird/nothing like the print make more sense to me now.
My print handwriting is also like reading font, unlike most people's cursive which is illegible.

i write in cursive and mainly use that style, though i use the french lowercase "p" (image from google) instead of the one that i was taught because it's easier for me to write.

I was taught cursive, and most of my letters look like this with a handful of variations. I usually print cause it's faster for me, especially if I need to be taking rapid notes, but I'll switch to cursive every once in a while for practice and just cause I think it looks nice.

I learned cursive in third grade out of a workbook, and I went through his phase of writing in cursive in fourth grade before I realized that it looked terrible and that printing was more efficient and easy for me. These days, I only write my name in cursive.

What if you taught yourself cursive so none of your letters look like they should?

What if you taught yourself cursive so none of your letters look like they should? i'm like that too but the poll is just what your school had up, like if they didn't teach you but they had those posters up or if they didn't those are options too

This is what I was taught, but by the time I hit junior high I had to learn to write faster to keep up with notes, and both ways were too slow. So the way I write has turned into a mixed version of print/cursive. Most of the time the letters of a word trail into each other, but I don't use most of the cursive styles of letters for anything, I just continue with the serifs of letters (like t's, l's, etc)

I was homeschooled, and I was only taught cursive. My dad refused to teach me to print, and I had to teach myself, so some of my printed letters look a bit wonky and swoopy still. Cursive is incredibly outdated and no longer necessary, and printing is mandatory for like real life paperwork stuff, so I don't know why he was so adamant about not teaching me print. Learning print was so hard, since I only had typed letters to reference off of. Some typed characters do Not look the same way they do when you write them. Look at a Times New Roman lowercase g and try to figure out how on earth you're supposed to hand write that.

I really have to focus Hard not to slip back into my messy handwriting when I'm doing paperwork. I always want to naturally make everything all swoopy. Had to write multiple full page reports every day at my last job, and I always inevitably ended up giving up on being neat by the end of the day. If they had trouble reading something, they could come ask me about it lol.

Okay, but I LOVE your personal handwriting. It's pretty and legible at the same time.
