Hello USAians and whoever else. I'm at a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking for a hard to find resource and, despite Amazon saying they USED to have it, no one has a way for me to get a particular article/book. No trace. Other than the fact that a couple of Universities have it. So I figured why not hit up the forums again? I'm looking for "Harriot's gift to Arthur Dee : literary images from an alchemical manuscript" by Lyndy Abraham. According to this: www.worldcat.org/title/harriots-gift-to-arthur-dee-literary-images-from-an-alchemical-manuscript A ton of universities have it. (Most notably for my side of the world would be University of California, Los Angeles, so close and yet so far.) I have no idea if it's a book or an article or what. Primarily, I would personally love a PDF copy, but that may be unreasonable. At the end of the day, I would honestly just settle for just knowing what it contained. @.@ So, uh, if anyone wanted to take 5 seconds to check their college library database and help a girl out?
Would be down to pay in art? Honestly, finding this in any fashion - sometimes articles are free or cheap on the web, but I can't find this one anywhere - would be amazing. :') Hello. For no one in particular, I have this other topic wcrpforums.com/thread/78708/flow-consciousness-history-edition which roughly explains why I want them. XD

My library does not have it, although we are a small school so that doesn't surprise me

Do you need to keep it? If not, call your universities library and see if you can request it via Inter Library Loan Sadly my college library does not offer this. Probably because it's a junior college.

I don't have it in my archives, but I do have a bunch of John Dee stuff. _A Letter containing a most brief Apologetical _A True & Faithful Relation of Dr. John Dee and Some Spirits (in 4 parts, cause it's big.) _Mystorium Liber Primus _Mystorium Liber Secundus _Mystorium Liber Tertius
Gotta warn you though, some of it is entirely in latin.

So thus far I've located a couple articles on my to-find list, but sadly this one is still missing.

The site you listed looks like you can pay £3.50 each + p & p for a copy?

oh dude i love hunting down impossible to find books. archive hunting is <3 anyways! i checked the libraries for 2 3 major schools in my state and two pretty major online libraries and couldn't find it online. but! you can request it through ILIAD if your school has it. i'm checking if my current school has access to it to see if i can potentially order it and scan it for ya.

If not, I'll check my college's library-- just bug me about it and I'll check.

Welp. Sent an email (to them and the place Leap suggested). We'll see if either turn up anything.

This year is a year of new experiences. I don't usually email places. Much less requesting research material.

A friend of mine (on here, actually) has an exchange with one of the universities! I may have access.
