But I've also read reviews that think she is the worst of the newer doctors/the writing of the show isn't that good  To each their own, though XD I'm still excited for when I get to watch it! |

Nothing new since this New Years, but the New Years episode was pretty decent in my opinion! It really depends. So the first of her seasons was not great at all, but a very large bulk of her second season was really good. There are very obvious flaws, very obvious, but certainly not without some really good stories. Orphan 55, for example, is terrible, but the first episode of the newest season? NICE. It was REALLY nice. I feel like going in without negative reviews on the mind is probably the first step and then read those reviews afterward and compare. For example, I have a friend who really enjoyed Jodie's first season. And my boss really enjoyed episodes in her latest one that I really did not. You're going to find an interesting experience however you look at it.  |

How often do the new shows usually come out? I've only ever watched them once they've already been out, so I've never had to wait XD except for now, haha. I'm patiently waiting to watch the 13th Doctor XDThanks! Everyone has a different experience watching things, that's for sure, so I like hearing the opinions, but in the end, I'll watch it because I want to and form my own opinion later on xD The negative reviews don't change the fact that I'd like to watch it XD It's Doctor Who, after all!  |

They're is usually a new season every one to two years, so I've gathered. Of course Covid has thrown things off a little, but I thiiiiiiiiink there's a new season supposed to come out this year?
Yes indeed! This is honestly very true! Also, there are some lovely, lovely characters in the latest season that I find so cool. But I can't tell you about them. :3

Ah, it's okay XD I would love to hear about them, if only it wasn't a spoiler XD But, alas, I'd like to go into the new Doctor spoiler-free! XD
Speaking of Doctor Who, I rewatched 'The Parting of the Ways', 'The Christmas Invasion', 'New Earth', 'Tooth and Claw', and the beginning of 'School Reunion' yesterday XD I was laughing out loud when the 10th Doctor was in the physics classroom and he just kept repeating, "Physics. Physics. Physics. Physics" etc. XDD
and I wore my 'Exterminate' Dalek socks today, haha.

Yes  Now, on the top of your head, do you know who the longest Doctor has been in the newest seasons and the older seasons? I feel like the 11th Doctor was pretty long... And I feel like the first Doctor was probably the longest in the older shows? Off the top of my head, I don't, though I do know that the longest running one was one of the older Doctors. I think either 3 or 4? Maybe? As for the longest running new one, I thiiiiiiiink it was 10. Could be very, very wrong though.
The first wasn't the longest, I do know that at least.

Okay. I just looked it up, and it said Tom Baker was the longest! So, the 4th Doctor! You were right!
As for the newer seasons, I feel like you're probably right in saying the 10th doctor, too, haha. I feel like he had a long run XD

I think they probably have it listed on the wiki somewhere ... hum.
In years, 10 ran for 5 years while so far everyone else has done 3-4 (excluding 9th who only did 1). 11th actually only did 3 years. 10 also appeared in more episodes (but only by 2 or 3, I think). They started reducing how many episodes were per season, so by this point 13 currently has the fewest episodes (at 23) she appears in, even though she's been going for 4 years as of 2021. Note the fact that even 12 hit 42 episodes, so she's hardly past the halfway mark to him. Ouch.

Yesssssss 10! I didn't realize 11 was two years shorter, wow. For some reason, he seemed long. But I can actually see the 10th being longer now that I'm remembering XD Plus, he had quite a many companions! (:
And, weird! I wonder why they're reducing the amount of episodes... But, I've noticed that they've done that on other shows, in general, too. Like, some seasons will have like closer to 15 episodes (or more) but then all the sudden they'll just go down to 10 episodes.

I've noticed they've done that with a lot of series. 1) More money for less work, but also 2) the episodes have gotten longer. I think they're now a lot longer compared to their shorter runtime, but I could be wrong.

That's true!
Sometimes I don't even realize there are less episodes if I watch shows on tv b/c then there's a week in between each show (or sometimes two weeks, if they decide to skip a week). But when I have them on prime or disney+, then I start to notice how many less shows there are because I'm watching them one after another, haha.

Roller coaster, haha.
Work has me stressin, and I just want to stop thinking and just do nothing and just like drive & keep driving or walk and keep walking and just not have a pit of anxiety in my stomach constantly. But, like, I can’t even do simple things sometimes bc I can stop thinking of 10x other things.
Butttt~~ if I can briefly just forget about all the things that try to tear me down, watching my shows and stuff keeps my mind from screaming & I’m rewatching all the Star Wars movies, and drawing Anakin Skywalker bc Anakin Skywalker.
And Falcon and Winter Soldier came out yesterday, and I’ve already watched it twice xD

Better than a couple days ago, so hopefully things are doing better since I'm having more high points than low points. For the most part I've been just handing out and doing little things here and there to keep moving. Learning German, working a bit on art here and there. Nothing much beyond that. |

I'm glad you're doing better (: I hope you enjoy your German and art, and I bid you luck on each! Drawing anything fun?
For a bit I was trying to teach myself Irish, but that didn't last long, whoops. I absolutely loved learning Spanish, though, and I miss it. I wish I had been able to keep with it after school. It was one of my favorite classes. I still speak random phrases here and there, and sometimes if I read something I might recognize a few words, but that's it ): Maybe one day I'll get back into it.

I'm trying to work on the MAP for the forums and I also have a WIP comic page.  I've been really motivated to work on German more, since I both have to take a class on it next semester and have a friend in German. It's very motivating. |

I’d love to see the finished product! Wahoo! That’s good! When I took an art class my senior year of high school, I had loved art/drawing before that, but I wasn’t any good. So I spent the entire summer before drawing every single day and I got so much better! By the time the class rolled around, it was so much nicer to have more experience so the class could teach me more! Hopefully it’s the same with your German! All your other classes & motivation to learn it outside of this semester class will help you so much |

Yes! I'm very sure that it will be. My part is almost finished. In fact, I'm going to be trying to finish it today. Hope so! That's what I'm trying. I'd also like to spend more time on working on the details that I really need help with rather than struggling on things like vocabulary words or the like. Cool, cool! I'm really trying to get to drawing more again. I've noticed myself getting better, but the progress takes longer because I don't get to draw as often as I'd like to. But, I just want to get better & I've been really inspired lately. Especially with watching The Mandalorian-- the art is amazing. The end credits are featured over the concept art, and it's just beyond beautiful. I want to be able to do art like that & just... create stories like that, too. It's just so inspiring. I want to create things that make people just feel, Working with disney and writing for film/television would be such a dream.
