Walnutpaw - - Hunting between camp and whispering canyon. - - With - - Zz Stumbling over one of the pigeons wings, Walnutpaw let out a grunt as he dragged the large bird towards the spot he had buried his squirrel. As he reached the spot, he dropped the bird and buried it beside his other prey. Turning, he headed closer towards the Whispering Canyon, excited to catch more prey. Part of him was tempted to go up to the rocky slope, in hopes of trying to take down a bigger bird. Though, something kept his paws from going further towards the forbidden place. Suddenly the brown somali toms ears pricked up high as the sound of scuffling filled his head. A very strong scent of mouse, traveled through the towards him. Licking his lips, the apprentice crouched down, crawling forward, making sure to keep his paws as light as possible. The apprentice stopped short as he spotted a couple of mice, scuffling amongst a hole. Both darted back and forth between the roots of a bush and the hole. He could hear squeaks and scuffling from beneath the earth, telling him there was multiple bodies within the nest. He silently cursed at the thought of being alone, wishing that he had another body to help him catch as many of the little creatures as he could. Suddenly the wind shifted towards him, and he caught the familiar scent of his mentor, Copperfall. Excitement burst through him, as well us sudden anxiety that his scent would be carried to the prey in front of him. In a silent hurry, the apprentice turned and hurried, his belly brushing the ground as rushed towards his mentor. Rounding a corner, Walnutpaw skidded to a halt so fast, he fell back on his haunches with an 'Ooof', ears flat and orange eyes wide with surprise. He had almost come close to running straight into the brown and white tom. "I am so sorry Copperfall, I was trying to find you, I wasn't paying attention to how close you might be." He quickly recovered from the startle, giving his chest a few licks of embarrassment. He stood with excitement, once more, and started padding back towards the nest full of mice. "I found a nest full of mice. And I need help weeding them out! Will you dig them out while I try to catch as many as I can!?"
Sweetberry - - Nursery - - With Palespirit - - Zz - - A purr of encouragement filled the nursery as Sweetberry sat beside Palespirit, watching her devour the prey she had brought. Her purr quickly cut short as the queen finished her prey and turned back into a depressed stone of a cat that she had been when the warrior had entered the nursery. Disappointment filled the molly's eyes as she let out a sigh. Taking a white tipped paw and gently running it over the belly of the queen, she felt for the kits in her belly. Suddenly the warriors ears pricked up as she felt a kick and her heart soared. With an idea creeping into her head, the molly turned her cream and white face to look at Palespirit's. Light blue eyes softened as she spoke warmly to the queen. "You know, Palespirit. I can't help but to notice that your belly is much larger than the other queens we have or have had in the past. I can almost bet that you have a good four or five kits in there." She paused, searching the eyes of the other molly to see if she could get some life into them or even get the queen to engage in a conversation. "Have you thought of any names.? I'd love to hear your ideas."
Fennelhawk - - Near Twoleg Clearing - - With Bluepaw - - Zz - - The dark brown tom gave a nod at the mention of helping the apprentice gather the prey he had caught. He swept his long tail to invite the younger tom to lead the way, but also stuck close in case he needed a shoulder to lean on. Amusement filled the toms sharp yellow eyes at Bluepaw's excitement at being a warrior. "Now remember, Bluepaw. You're only nine moons. Yes, you have learned a lot. But there is still so much more for you to learn. You still have at least three moons until you are even going to be considered for your warrior assessment." His mind couldn't help but wonder to his own warrior ceremony and how excited he had been. Not to mention how much harder he had to fight for his warrior name. When he was only 7 moons, he had gone to the whispering canyon with his mentor and two other senior warriors. There had been signs and scents of a lynx wondering around the cliffs. While they were there, it had begun to rain and the young Fennelpaw had fallen and broken his shoulder. It'd taken moons to heal enough for him to walk, but the tom was left with a permanent limp and a delay in his warrior ceremony. No one had thought that he would ever be able to be a warrior, but here he was, able to hunt and fight almost as well as any of his clanmates. He even had an apprentice of his own, Rosepaw. Sometimes the warrior had stumbles and misleaped or landed wrong, but for a permanent limp to him, the tom did quite well.

(( hehe sorry this took so long [and sorry they're so short oof]. I am caught up in a bunch of school work rn ))
Darkrose | open Darkrose was laying in the center of camp, stretched out on her side and relaxing in the sun. She really enjoyed the life of an elder - able to rest after so many moons serving the clan. Her blue eyes blinked lazily, looking around camp to watch what her clanmates were up to. Her gaze rested on her youngest kits near the apprentice den, Rosepaw and Briarpaw, a purr rumbling softly in her throat. They would be great warriors. The old queen's eyes closed, laying her head on the grass to take a nap.
Brightwing | open Hunting was Brightwing's favorite pass time. If he wasn't assigned to a patrol he often went out on his own, as he felt useless when he sat in camp doing nothing. Normally he volunteered for every patrol he had a chance of joining. The calico tom padded back into camp with a squirrel in his jaws, padding to the fresh-kill pile to deposit his catch. He carefully eyed the contents of the pile, considering taking the small mouse that was there, but he decided against it. He would leave it for someone else and have something to eat later. He sat down near the warriors den and began grooming his pelt, having a rest before he would go find something else to do.
Molestep | open Molestep had just woken up. Yes, he slept in pretty late. Most of the clan were already out on patrols and such. He trotted out of the warriors den and arched his back, stretching, with a wide yawn. "Good day, everybody!" He meowed cheerily to no one cat in particular, just to everyone around him. He then padded over to the fresh kill pile and snatched a piece of prey - a juicy vole, the best looking from the pile - before glancing around to see if there were any clanmates nearby that he could share with.
Stormpatch | open Stormpatch sat in camp, her paws tucked under her chest and her tail wrapped tightly around her side. She carefully drew her tongue over the fur on her chest and shoulders, finishing up her grooming before she silently looked around the camp. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, but she couldn't remember the last time she'd actually gotten a good rest. She was used to it by now and the exhaustion didn't bother her too much. Her body was able to function just fine now. Her eyes trailed towards the entrance as she wondered if she should go out hunting. She definitely wasn't going to go alone, though. She could wait until she spotted another group going out and ask if she could join them.
Rosepaw | open
Rosepaw sat near the camp entrance, his tail wrapped over his white toes with the tail twitching wildly. He had woken up late this morning, which he was quite upset at himself for. How was he supposed to continue on his path to becoming a warrior if he didn't get up for training? He wanted to be the type of warrior who was up early everyday, ready for border patrols and hunting parties. Not sleeping in until sunhigh, like Molestep. He shot the warrior a frustrated glare as he emerged from the warriors den, but he turned his attention away. To make things worse, Fennelhawk must have left while he was still in his nest. He hoped his mentor wasn't upset that he had slept through his chance to go out with him.
Briarpaw | open Her brother was usually the one to wake her up every morning so if Rosepaw slept in it meant Briarpaw did as well. Unlike him, Briarpaw didn't really care. What was wrong with sleeping in once in a while? As long as it wasn't consistent, she thought it was fine to take a break. She was laying in front of the apprentice den, rolling onto her back and watching her brother. "Rosepaw, come sit with me!" She called, getting bored, but the other apprentice didn't even look her way. "How about you go find Duskmeadow and actually train." He meowed, the irritation clear in his voice. Huffing, Briarpaw turned away from him. Fine. Maybe it was a good idea to find her mentor. She wasn't sure if the calico molly was still in camp or not. Padding up to the warriors den to check, she stuck her head inside. "Is my mentor in there?" She meowed, glancing around the den curiously. She would be moving her nest out of the apprentice den to join them soon.

Cobrastorm purred padding after Nightstar as she headed off into the forest. Now out of the shelter of the camp, Cobrastorm tasted the air as a breeze past by them today was a good day for hunting indeed and a hunting competition made it even better. As His paws carried him away from camp, tracing the familiar path beneath his white paws, the tom turned his attention to Nightstar as she asked him who he thought would even the contest. “ Ah. That’s quite a hard one.” Cobrastorm meowed, flicking his tail through the air with amusement. “ I hope my own apprentice will win but I would be happy either way.” He purred catching up to Nightstar to walk beside her. “ We have such determined apprentices; they all have their own set of skills so I guess we have to wait and see.” Twilightblaze took the rear of the patrol following after Thistletongue and Lightningstrike into the forest. The tawny she flickered her ears at Lightningstrike as he mentioned going to the Moonlit Sea first on their patrol. “ That would a good place start for our patrol.” Twilightblaze figured the patrol would go smoothly for the warriors but she knew the forest could be calm one day and something unexpected can happen the next. “ We’ll be able to cover a good amount of the territory going there first.”

-Swansong- | Open Swansong lay a couple tail lengths from the warriors den, enjoying the sunlight streaming overhead and the warmth of her siblings at her sides. She drifted in and out of sleep, listening to Wildmane complain as Doeleap licked between her ears like a queen would her kit. It was a good day she thought as Bearswipe’s rumbling chuckle sounded a whiskers length to her right. -Wildmane- | Open “Ach.” Wildmane spat as Doeleap gave a last, teasing lick between her eyes. “Go play mother to some apprentice.” She shoved a paw at Doeleap’s face, eager to ruin the amused look there. Doeleap easily dodged the lazy paw and Wildmane just as easily gave up. With vigor Wildmane jumped to her feet and shook her fur loose. “Why don’t we go hunting?”-Doeleap- | Open Doeleap shook her head at her sisters gleaming eyes. “I’m good here but be careful out there, no more fancy feats. Ivyheart is busy enough as is.” She have a pointed look to Wildmane’s tail, which lashed back and forth in response. Swansong finally lifted her head to chuckle, “yeah Wildmane show us again how you can jump from tree to tree using vines, this time you really might loose that bush you call a tail.” “Hey.” Doeleap warned, smacking Swansong’s flank with her tail. The white she-cat scoffed at Wildmane’s glare, ignoring Doeleap’s scolding and got her paws under her. “Whatever, lets go hunting.”-Bearswipe- | With Stormpatch Bearswipe groaned as he hauled himself up, he paused to give Doeleap an affectionate headbutt. His other two sisters already making their way to the camp entrance, he turned to catch up but stopped at the flick of Doeleap’s tail. “Why don’t you invite Stormpatch?” She purred with a knowing look. “Stormpatch?” Bearswipe questioned and looked up to find the she-cat, he quickly glanced away upon spotting her. Snorting at the look on Doeleap’s face, he trotted towards the small she-cat. As Bearswipe neared he gave his chest fur a quick lick and tried not to look as self conscious as he felt. “Hi Stormpatch.” He spoke softly, hoping not to spook the tired looking molly.

Pecanpaw tom ; medicine cat app.
Since he'd slept so restlessly, Pecanpaw had decided against joining his siblings out in the forest for the apprentice challenge. While he might have gotten some foraging done, since Ivyheart was out, and a few queens were close to giving birth, the tom had thought better of it. He shuddered out a yawn, padding to the side of the den, where a patch of sunlight fell through. The warm golden beams hit his coat, causing a purr to trill from his throat as he turned in a circle before settling down. He needed to get back to sorting the herbs but his limbs felt so heavy and he could barely keep his eyes open. A tiny nap couldn't hurt, especially since he was out in the open, in case someone needed his assistance. Carefully the tom drifted off to sleep.
- { tag } - { beside the medicine den } - Snowpaw molly ; apprentice
Oh a challenge! Snowpaw couldn't help but have a bounce in her step as her eager blue eyes scoured the lush forest for any sign of prey. She didn't want to lose after all, especially not to her sister or brother! That would be a nightmare, of Whispering Canyon proportions! Keeping her snowy body low to the ground, due to her bright pelt, she paused when the scent of a vole tickled her nose. Her claws flashed out in anticipation, lowering herself into an instinctive crouch. The small mouse-like creature nibbled on a berry ahead of her, it's light brown fur helping it to blend in with the ferns. Snowpaw wriggled her hips before leaping at the prey, landing squarely on the animal. She didn't hesitate to kill it, though she did smooth down it's fur. "Thank you Starclan," she whispered, casting a glance up at the sky through the leaves. Then she buried the vole and continued on her way, barely resisting the urge to hum as she went.
- { tag } - { near harmony stream } - Shriketalon tom ; warrior
The tom watched in solemn silence as his father marched away, his chest aching at the pang of loneliness. Why wouldn't his father accept him? Shriketalon tried everything to please the other tom but nothing ever seemed good enough. Turning away, the young warrior stalked towards the warrior's den, ready to hide away for a while and lick his wounds - emotional scars that would take too many moons to heal. His attention turned briefly to Doeleap and her siblings before he shook his head and skulked away, needing some time to himself. He couldn't be a hero when it felt like the wind had just been beaten out of him.
- { tag } - { near warriors den } - Applenose molly ; queen
Applenose purred contentedly as she sat against Flameheart, her green eyes peering out at the world around them with almost a romantic glow. Everything seemed brighter, safer, and far more beautiful with her mate by her side. That was something that hadn't changed, that feeling of rightness. The ginger tom could come marching into any situation and instantly everything was right as rain. Applenose curled her tail over her stomach, closing her eyes as she sent up a prayer to her ancestors. Please let our kittens find a love like ours. There's nothing stronger, or more valuable in this world. She peeked a glance at her deputy, stretching her neck to lick at his cheek affectionately. "The nursery is so full these days, it's nice to get away. I've missed hunting with you... and beating you at hide and seek," the queen laughed, unashamed of the game her and her mate played, as though they were kittens themselves. She loved rushing through the forest to find the best hiding places or sneaking up on Flameheart once she had found him... Those were the good memories. Plus, you were never too old to play games.- { Flameheart, ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ } - { at tall spruce } - Wolfspirit tom ; warrior
The tom had been woken from his nap, with a terrible headache mind you, to follow Almondpaw off into the forest on some competition. To say the tom was displeased was putting it lightly. Still, it wasn't like he would complain, the little Somali was his apprentice after all - even if she did drive him up a cliff at times. Wolfspirit padded silently through the trees, his dark brown coat allowing him to blend in with his surroundings. His teal gaze lingered on his apprentice, curious to how she would do on her own. She wasn't the youngest of her companions but she wasn't exactly ready to be a warrior either. Still, Wolfspirit expected Almondpaw to do rather well.- { Almondpaw, ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ } - { oak forest } - Fincheye tom ; warrior
A long sigh escaped the tom, ducking down as he entered the camp, a single robin in his jaws. Fincheye had felt a bit restless early this morning, so he'd gone out to patrol on his own, seeing as no one else had been up to keep him company - not that he noticed anyway. The fawn and black tom padded to the fresh-kill pile, placing the fat bird down before glancing around camp. He didn't exactly feel fulfilled, like his job was done today, he'd probably try and go out again. He wondered where his kits had gotten off to, hoping that they were being productive.
- { tag } - { near fresh-kill pile } - Dovetail molly ; warrior
Hiding was such a harsh, inaccurate word. Dovetail was merely dragging out the old, dirty moss from the elder's den, since the apprentices were off on some sort of game. The molly certainly hadn't volunteered to do the unwanted work since that would keep her away from others, nope! Ugh, she hated feeling like a mouse in her own home... still, her courage was weak at best. The gray and white feline could still hear the mocking of her den-mates in her ears, the snickers, the suggestions that she skip meals... No matter how many meals she skipped, she couldn't seem to lose the weight. Sighing, Dovetail smiled slightly at Seawhisper before dragging the last bit of moss out of the den.
- { tag } - { outside elder's den } - Seawhisper molly ; elder
The fluffy silver molly let out a harrumph as the timid Dovetail slipped away, trying to hide behind the filthy moss she was dragging out. "Someone needs to get that girl some confidence," she scolded no one, talking mostly to herself. Her green eyes narrowed before she resumed cleaning her pelt, casting a glance at her den-mates. She smiled at Darkrose and Hazesight - though she knew the latter could not see it. "Have you eaten, either of you? I can go get us something to share?" the molly offered, her tone much more gentle than it had been a moment before, already stretching out her forelegs. A yawn escaped her before she shook herself firmly, resisting the urge to settle back down. Old age was certainly catching up with her. "Oh, Hazesight, I can groom your back if you need me to," she added as an afterthought, realizing that it must be hard on the other elder to not only reach his back but even more so when he couldn't see it!- { Darkrose, renaissance, Hazesight, Fallenleaves } - { elder's den } - Lilac molly ; outsider
Her brother had been disappearing an awful lot lately, more than she usually did! Lilac was beginning to grow concerned, plus a bit lonely. After all, Snake was all she had in this whole wide world... well him and the butterflies. A smile touched her muzzle at the thought and the molly let out a loud yawn, shaking herself. Something soft fell against her head and Lilac instantly sprang into action, rushing to catch it. She chased the thick puff in circles, until she made herself dizzy. Collapsing onto the grass, the soft thing landed on her muzzle. It was her tail tip! A giggle escaped her as she batted at her tail, rolling along in the clearing that the siblings made their home.

- Doeleap- W/Shriketalon Doeleap watched her siblings leave and was about to lay back down when some movement caught her attention. She turned to watch Shriketalon’s tail disappear into the warriors den, the slope of it was dearly and Doeleap slowly got to her paws and padded after the tom. When she reached the entrance she called out softly to him. “Shriketalon?”
-Hazesight- W/Seawhisper
Hazesight’s ears perked at the younger molly’s voice and he did his best to turn his face towards her and returned her smile. He could hear it in her voice and hoped his wasn’t too odd looking. “Prey does sound lovely.” He answered and sniffed the air, hoping to catch scent of whatever could be waiting in the fresh kill pile. At Seawhisper’s exclamation Hazesight jumped a little before processing what she’d said. ”Oh.” Hazesight mumbled and turned to look at his back instinctively. Instantly he felt hot with embarrassment at his odd actions and lashed his tail in discomfort. “Does, um, does it look bad? Sorry, it would be very kind of you to help a silly tom like me.”

- Bearswipe- W/Stormpatch
The large tom lowered his head in greeting and kept it there, also stopping a tail length short of the little molly. Aware of his size and how easy it was for him to appear imposing Bearswipe did his best to seem as little as possible.
“My sisters and I were going out to hunt, would you... uh, care to join us?” Mentally he kicked himself for sounding so unsure. He turned his head to spot his sisters at the camp entrance.
Wildmane paced just before it, her eyes darting between him and Stormpatch, tail lashing. Swansong stood just beside it, ears perked and her gleaming eyes on him.
Bearswipe took a couple steps towards them, hoping to block Stormpatch’s line of sight. His sisters weren’t always the friendliest looking cats and he had begun to hope the molly would come along. He turned his head back to her and did his best to give her an encouraging smile.

Stormpatch | w/ Bearswipe Stormpatch glanced past the tom towards his littermates, catching a glimpse of them before his large figure blocked her view. She wasn't sure whether they would want her to come along - honestly, they looked a little impatient. "Sure. Thank you." She finally answered after a few moments of careful pondering, standing up and giving her fur a brief shake. She had wanted to go out for a hunt and now she was being invited, so she decided to accept before she changed her mind. She waited for the other warrior to lead the way.

- Bearswipe- w/Stormpatch
”Great.” The tom meowed and strode towards the camp’s entrance.
“Took you long enough.” Wildmane snapped before charging down the tunnel out of camp. Swansong had a bit more tact and waited on their new companion.
”Hello Stormpatch.” The tall pale she-cat greeted, her tone was polite but her strange orange eyes raked over Stormpatch like she was looking for something hidden in her fur. Just as quickly as her interest had come it left, her eyes met with Bearswipe’s and she merely grinned at his displeased look before stalking after Wildmane.
Bearswipe’s large head swung around to look at Stormpatch and offered her a sheepish smile. “They mean well.” With that he flicked his tail, gesturing for her to go first.

Nightstar - - [30 Moons][Leader][Molly] Where. - -In the Forest With - - Cobrastorm [ Taiyou] Nightstar nodded in silent agreement to the brown and white tabby tom's words. Her long bushy tail brushed along his flank and flicked the fluff of a mane around his neck as she walked. Her eyes clouded slightly as her mind wandered. "I know all our apprentices will do amazing. We will feast tonight. I wish I could give them all something. I wish there was a way to praise them all for how well they do." Suddenly a strong scent of squirrel filled her senses and her mouth began to water. She flicked her ears in a warning to Cobrastorm then flicked the tip of her tail to have him go around the clearing they had come to. A squirrel was sitting at the roots of the tree, though it seemed a bit alert. Excitement filled the leader's amber eyes as she signaled for the warrior to flush it towards her. The calico molly crouched in the shadows, being sure to stay downwind. She flexed her claws eagerly, ready to feel the flesh of the squirrel. Sure, she had sent the apprentices on a hunting competition, but that didn't mean she couldn't have a little bit of fun with Cobrastorm.
Flameheart- - [45 Moons][Deputy][Tom] Where. - -At The Tall Spruce With - - Mate-Applenose [ little blu ♥]
Green eyes full of passion as well as pride as he watched his Peachy cream colored mate wrap her tail over her swollen belly. His white chest puffed out happily at the thought of his own children, running around camp and getting under everyone's paws. How much more beautiful and wonderful everything would be, when the kits came. "I wonder how many kits you'll have.." The question was almost quiet enough that the tom could have been speaking it to himself. He nuzzled his mates cheek affectionately at her words of hunting and hide-and-seek. Closing his eyes for a moment, he remembered quite fondly how well the molly was at their games. She always hid so well and always found him so easily. And then there was hunting. He missed having his partner in hunting. They always worked so well together, the ancestors had clearly entwined their paw steps for life. "Just wait until you have the kits. You know Palespirit and Brindlebriar will watch them while you sneak off. Of even Morningdew, Everyone is well aware that she wishes to be in the nursery at all times, even now that her kits are grown. She would absolutely love every moment she could get to watch over our children while we sneak off to hunt and play hide-and-seek." The orange and white deputy gave her a flick with his tail, a teasing glint in his eyes and voice. "And maybe. Just maybe, I'll beat you at hide-and-seek this time."
Sweetberry-- [40Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where - -The Nursery With - - Palespirit [Zz] - -Reposting as Well]
A purr of encouragement filled the nursery as Sweetberry sat beside Palespirit, watching her devour the prey she had brought.
Fennelhawk - - [47 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Where - -Near Twoleg Clearing With - - Bluepaw [Zz] - - The dark brown tom gave a nod at the mention of helping the apprentice gather the prey he had caught. You still have at least three moons until you are even going to be considered for your warrior assessment."
His mind couldn't help but wonder to his own warrior ceremony and how excited he had been.
Duskmeadow - - [55 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where. - -Camp With - - Briarpaw and Rosepaw [renaissance] "I see you two slept in and missed everyone going out on a hunting competition." The silky voice of Duskmeadow carried through the air straight to where Rosepaw sat and Briarpaw stood. She had been snoozing in the sunlight of the clearing, enjoying the quiet of the day, with almost all the apprentices and warriors out and about. She'd opened her eyes at hearing her apprentice, Briarpaw, searching for her. Standing on long and steady legs, the black and orange calico molly flicked the tip of her bushy tail as she spoke to the two apprentices. "There's no point in you two going out now. Most of the apprentices have been out since this morning." The warrior kept her voice soft and silky, always gentle towards her clanmates. It was very rare that she angered. "Rosepaw, Fennelhawk left shortly after the other apprentices, I'm assuming to have a break. Nightstar told the mentors they could have the day off to themselves, if they wished. I assume he believed that you would be up and about already." Her green and yellow mixed eyes flashed towards her brown and white apprentice. She had purposely let her apprentice sleep in. She was two short moons away from receiving her warrior name. She knew her apprentice was a skillful hunter. "Would you like to join the competition.? Or would you like to do something else.?"
Scorchstreak- - [45 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Where - - Heading into the Oak Forest With - - Rainpaw [Brindlebriar][Reposting for you] The russet colored Somali winced as he watched his apprentice flash a paw into the water too soon, covering himself in droplets of water. His eyes, orange in the sunlight, widened with shock as he watched the scruffy apprentice shake out his fur, only to tumble right into the shallows of the ocean water. Only when he watched the young tom emerge from the water, spitting in frustration, a rumbling laugh escaped the warrior. He couldn't control the amusement that shook his body, as he watched Rainpaw sitting down, looking like a drowned rat.
As his apprentice started heading back into the trees, straight where Scorchstreak was sitting, the older tom climbed his way up into a tree beside him. He crouched on a branch, hidden amongst the leaves so that he could watch what Rainpaw would do next. He knew his apprentice would make up for his mistake during fishing. He made a mental note to come back for Rainpaw's small fish, after seeing him make a kill among the comfort of the forest.
Morningdew - - [20 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Location - -In Camp With - - Brindlebriar [Brindlebriar]- -[Also reposting for you] Still thinking about having more kits, Morningdew's mind wondered to how full the nursey was already. Brindlebriar would be having her kits, any day now. Palespirit was less than half a moon away from having her kits. The queen hardly acknowledged the rest of her clan. The grief of losing her mate was clearly overbearing to her. And Applenose, bless her heart, was a moon away from her kits. With three queens, all expecting kits within a moon, the nursery would be bustling with kittens. She would have to put off having more kits for a little while. At least until the nursery was a little less full.
The silver molly's blue gaze traveled back to Brindlebriar, as the large bellied queen spoke, her voice breaking into Morningdew's thoughts. Letting out a soft purr, she nuzzled the other molly as a short sadness seemed to cloud her thoughts. As if reading her mind, Morningdew spoke. "The tom's tend to forget that even though they have duties to their clan..They also have their mate's to tend to. Thistletongue hasn't forgotten you. Remember, this is both you and his first time as parents. He knows that the day is coming any time. I bet he is just like Icestorm. He's doing so much for the clan now, because as soon as the kits are born, he wont want to leave your side for days." As the molly spoke, she stood and padded closer to Brindlebriar. Sitting at her belly, the silver molly took her right paw and gently felt around the queens belly. Purrs rippled between her talking, as she felt each bundle wiggle beneath her touch. "It feels like there is three little ones in there. I can only imagine how amazing they will be."
Speckledflame- - [80 Moons][Warrior/Elder][Molly] Where - -In Camp With - - Brightwing [renaissance] The elderly molly watched from her place near the fresh-kill pile as Brightwing dropped his squirrel on the pile. He seemed to hesitate there, as if deciding whether to eat or not. Her ears pricked up when she watched him walk away with nothing to eat. The white and orange molly gave an amused purr and wondered up, snatching up a vole and a mouse before turning to Brightwing. She moved slowly as she wondered up to him, her right hip giving her trouble that day. Dropping the prey at the calico toms paws, the molly let out a purr. "Hello, Brightwing. Would you share some prey with me.? The apprentices have pretty much all gone out on a hunting competition and we will have plenty of prey later. Plus, you've already been working today." The white molly settled down slowly beside the warrior, her flaming orange eyes flashed in the sun. As she waited for Brightwing to join her and take the first bite, she licked a paw and ran it over her orange speckled face.
Thistletongue - - [55 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Location - -Heading to Moonlite Sea With - - Twilightblaze & Lightningstrike [Taiyou & Brindlebriar]- - Listening patiently as both younger warriors spoke, Thistletongue gave a nod of approval to them. He was glad they both agreed that Moonlite sea would be the best choice to start. The older warrior himself, would have chosen the same path to follow. "So we will go along the side of the border where the badger sets are, just to be catious and see if any are wondering close. Then head along the tree line of the sea and the oak forest, then follow the border to the twoleg clearing." With that, the large brown tabby turned and headed swiftly through the trees, heading straight to where the trees would stop to the open clearing of where the sea was. One the far west side of the sea, was a couple of badger sets. It was the time of the year where they would have children themselves, so they would be more territorial. The warrior gave a silent prayer that if any apprentices came this way, that a warrior was close behind. He let his green gaze flash back to the familiar pelts of Lightningstike and Twilightblaze, just to be sure they were keeping up with him. The tom kept his ears pricked and mouth open, scenting and listening for danger. In the distance, he could scent and hear both warriors and apprentices out and about, hunting and having conversations. As he neared the sea/tree border, he picked up the scents of the apprentice Rainpaw, and his mentor Scorchstreak.
Walnutpaw - - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Tom] Location - -Between Whispering Pines and Camp With - - Copperfall [Zz]- -[Reposting so it doesnt get lost] Stumbling over one of the pigeons wings, Walnutpaw let out a grunt as he dragged the large bird towards the spot he had buried his squirrel.
Almondpaw- - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - - Amongst the Oak Forest With - - Followed by Mentor-Wolfspirit [little blu ♥] To say that the little fawn somali wasn't excited, was an understatement. She had bolted from the camp, the second that she had seen Snowpaw and Frostpaw taking off. She was determined not to be left behind. She'd seen her brother, Walnutpaw taking off almost as soon as Rainpaw and his mentor had left. Nervousness prickled her paws for a moment at the thought of almost all the apprentices out and about, competing. Who was to say she was good enough to win this competition.? Shaking her head to force herself to concentrate, the distinct russet colored markings on her face shifted as she thought. Her dark yellow eyes flashed, as she picked up the scent of a rabbit. It wasn't uncommon for rabbits to wonder about the forest, but it wasn't the most common prey either. Shifting her body, the apprentice opened her mouth slightly, trying to determine how close the rabbit would be. She thanked Starclan as she realized that the wind was carrying towards her, and not away from her. Keeping her body low, and her bushy tail from brushing the ground, the molly slunk forwards. She moved slowly and cautiously, not wanting the rabbit to scent her or hear her. When the scent was almost overpowering, Almondpaw stopped, keeping her hindlegs bunched underneath her hindquarters, waiting for the creature to come into view. Eyes pinpointed a bush, where she was sure the prey was about to appear from behind. Her calculations were right and the rabbit hopped out and around the bush, edging slowly closer to her. Waiting a few more moments, Almondpaw held her breath, before taking a mighty leap and landing on the rabbit. Before it could squeal or fight her, she gave it a killing bite to the back of the neck, satisfaction filling her. The creature was nice and plump, one of the largest she had ever caught.
Frostpaw - - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Location - -At Leafclan Border With - - Lilac [little blu ♥]- - The black apprentice had gone off when the other apprentices had, steering away from her sister the second her paws hit the floor outside of camp. It didn't take her long to catch a decent pile of prey. Two squirrels, three mice, a vole, and a sparrow. She'd buried the prey for later and headed deeper amongst the trees. She barely noticed that she had wondered over Leafclan's border until she heard rustling on the other side. Her blue eyes flashed up in time to witness a brown and white molly fumbling around like a fool. 'What in Starclan's name..?' The apprentice couldn't even finish the thought as she realized the stranger was trying to catch her own tail. Amusement filled the apprentice as the molly let out a giggle as she rolled around. Finally, Frostpaw got the urge to speak up, laughter thick in her voice. "Excuse me. Are you alright.?" She couldn't recognize the scent that bathed the strangers pelt, guessing she was a harmless loner.
Amberblaze- - [80 Moons][Elder][Molly] Where - -Near Elders Den With - - Taloneye [Brindlebriar]- -[Reposting as well] Amberblaze watched as the apprentices scattered from camp, following after Scorchstreak, Rainpaw, Nightstar and Cobrastorm. Realizing the camp was growing quiet and quite empty as a group of warriors followed soon after, the elderly molly shuffled her paws. She spotted Brindlebriar and Morningdew together and her sister and Striketalon outside the warriors den. It was almost a comfort to know that most of the clan was out and about, leaving the remaining clanmates to some peace and quiet. She gave a comforting purr at Taloneye's offer. "Thank you for the offer, Taloneye. But it seems that we have missed the opportunity to speak to Nightstar. I'll speak to her when she comes back into camp."
Giving the grey tabby tom a gentle blink with her slightly cloudy amber eyes, she couldn't help but feel a slight happiness and comfort with the grumpy tom. The purr that rumbled in him, made the orange molly rumble her own rusty purr. Unknown to any other soul, the once great warrior had deeply adored and respected Taloneye, from the moment she was a kit. She had grown, admiring the tom when she was a young apprentice. As she became a warrior, she had grown a fondness for the older warrior, though had never pursued him. Her entire warrior career was devoted to her clanmates. Now, sitting here with the elderly grey tabby tom, her heart felt the old spark that she had felt as a young cat. She stared down at her paws with a nervousness hanging over her. Speaking lightly, she let out an offer. "Why don't you and I go for a little walk into the forest. It's been awhile since you have gotten the feel of our territory. We don't have to go far."
Snake - - [35 Moons][Loner][Tom] Location - -The Farmhouse With - - Ivyheart [RoseBlood]- - Letting out a soft purr, Snake leaned against Ivyheart as they stopped at the tree line. He let his tail stay twined with hers for a moment, before separating them and letting it sweep over the hills in front of them. "Just beyond these hills, is farmland. See that third hill over there.?" He paused to point past the first two hills of the moorland, to a third hill in the stretch of dirt land. "On the other side of that hill, is farmland. A large farmhouse and barn are there. With crops and herbs and pastures with cows and horses and sheep." He paused for a moment, shuffling his paws in slight embarrassment that he knew so much of the twoleg place. "My family has come and gone from the barn for many seasons. My mother, Lily..Well. She lives there. I haven't seen or spoken to her since she abandoned my sister and I."
He shook out the thought, nuzzling the light brown molly beside him before he headed towards the hilly terrain. He wrapped his tail over her shoulders to guide her after him.

Bluepaw In Forest-Hunting-With Fennelhawk The tom nodded but his smile stayed put as he began to lead the way through the forest, limping slightly because of his injured leg. Pain ricocheted through his side with every step and he was sure he had broken something but the apprentice simply ignored it as he visited each spot where he had buried his prey. "I caught two squirrels and a mouse and they're all pretty plump because of all of the two-leg scraps they get in this area so I think I did pretty good. No matter how far away my assessment is, I'll be ready for it. I'll become a warrior worthy of this clan and this family." He picked up his first squirrel finally, this one being the biggest, and pushed the other squirrel and the mouse toward Fennelhawk for him to carry.
Palespirit In Nursery-With Sweetberry Palespirit was simply gone, she didn't register the words coming out of the other's mouth or the feeling of them touching her belly. The only thing she could feel was a deep, dark pit that seemed to stretch away for an eternity inside of her. She laid her head down after a few moments and simply went still and silent, her eyes staring off into nothing even more than they had been before. She wasn't going to do anything more... say anything more. She wasn't even sure she would ever be able to talk again really.
Copperfall In forest-Spectating Walnutpaw The tom jumped, almost crying out when the apprentice came barreling out of nowhere. His fur was now on end and his claws dug into the ground but he forced himself to try and calm down even a little bit as he listened to the smaller tom's words. "Okay, I-I can do that. Lead the way I guess."

Lightningstrike | 29 Moons
[ Stern & distanced & content ] {{ ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ // Boarder patrol }}
Rp>>> lightningstrike nodded his head as Thisletongue spoke and agreed to head to the Moonlit cave first. He didn't like being grouped with other cats, but these few seemed agreeable enough that he didn't think he would mind. Sliding his claws to sink if the soft ground below him as the group made their way through the forest, he yearned for an attack of some sort. The smell of many different apprentices were strong, clouding up the air with the stench of fresh kill, excitement and growth. He had an apprentice of his own, but the desire to train him made his paws feel like they were deep in the mud. He wanted to be like Taloneye, alone and in peace with what he does on his own time. He shruuged off the thought and pressed forward, his thoughts as high as the oak trees.
Rainpaw | 7 Moons
[ Forgetful & Lighthearted & Playful ] {{ ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ Taiyou // Woods by the Sea }}
Rp>>> As the young apprentice darted through the woods, the overwhelming scent of his mentor filled his nostrils, informing him that he had seen the whole thing. He shook his fur out again, this time digging in his claws in the loose rocky dirt so he didn't topple over again. Without a second thought, he darted forwards, eager to get another kill for his clan. His dirty white and brown fur a mere streak in the trees, he blended in quite nicely to the scenery around him. Rounding a larger tree, he came whisker to whisker to the patrol of warriors in the woods. Crashing into Twilighblaze nose first, grazing the hind end of Lightningstrikes flank, the young apprentice yelped in fear. He had been going to fast, the scent of warriors had totally escaped him. Jumping up, his eyes as large as the moon its self, Rainpaw squeaked. "I am SO sorry!" He huffed, sitting down loudly.
Brindlebriar | 53 Moons
[ Loving & Compassionate & Calm ] {{ ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ // Birth of the kittens, middle of camp }}
Rp>>> Brindlebriar nodded in kindness at the thoughtful words Moningdew had spoken in regards to her mate. Many expectant queens had experienced the things she was feeling now, making her emotions validated. With a large sigh and one last bite to finish her meal, the queen struggled to her paws. Three kits were a lot to carry around on her feeble little legs, so it took more effort for her to stand these days than normal. It was almost time. With a laboring breath, the queen felt something in her belly pop, a terrifying and excoriating feeling. "Mordningdew!" She yowled in pain, falling onto her side with labored and heavy breathing, "I think.... "I think they're ready!" She cried, fear gripping her heart. She had wanted to wait for her kitting until her mate could be there to comfort her and help her through it, and seeing that he was no where around, tears filled her eyes. "I cant do this! Im not ready!" She panted, shaking. She had watched from a distance as Morningdew delivered, and knew that being on her side in a nest was the way to go, the comfort of the moss and hydration of the dew drops helping her get trough it, but something wasnt right here, there was too much blood, too much pain. She shifted to a low crouch to get ready for the birth of her kits. "Something isnt right." She whimpered.
Taloneye | 95 Moons
[ Aloof & Grumpy & Wise ] {{ ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ // Headed out of camp }}
Rp>>> The elder nodded. They had just barely missed their chance to speak with their leader. Perking what was left of his battle ridden ears when Amber had suggested a walk outside camp, the tom nodded. "It would be good for my old bones to try to get out and move for once I supppose." He mewed grumpily. It had been moons since he left the camp. A reborn sense of excitement had washed over him. How different would the world outside look now? Would it smell the same? As best as he could manage, he rose to his paws and shook the dust out of this fur, his eyes now bright with adventure. As the two old cats slow and frail, made their way to the entrance, He heard Brindlebriar yowl with the birthing pains of her kits. With new life brings new death. A random thought dancing in his minds eye. Lowering his head and looking away out of respect for the young and happy queen, he mewed quietly. "Let us be going. New life is on its way here, I would like to see the outside before our time is up." He mewed quietly, entwining his tail with Amberblaze. He had been alive long enough to know that once kits were born, Starclan had a funny way of calling home either a warrior or an elder to hunt among the stars. The simple balance of nature.

(( let me know if I've missed anything please ))
Darkrose | elders den w/ Seawhisper and Hazesight Darkrose lifted her head and turned to look at her denmates. "I have not. I'd love to share something with you." She purred, slowly pushing herself to her paws. A meal sounded quite good right about now. Hearing commotion out in the middle of camp her ears twitched in the direction, wondering what was going on. She didn't feel like getting up to check though. Right now she was comfortable and if it was something important a warrior would surely come fetch them from the elders den.
Brightwing | in camp w/ Speckledflame Seeing the orange and white she-cat padding in his direction, Brightwing paused his grooming and watched her curiously, offering a friendly smile as she approached. "Hello, Speckledflame." He purred, looking at the prey that was dropped near his paws. Did she notice him contemplating over the contents of the fresh kill pile? It was nice of her to offer to share a meal. "I would be delighted. Thank you." He answered, shifting and settling down beside her. He took the first bite, chewing slowly and glancing around camp absently. He noticed the commotion that was happening around Brindlebriar and his ears perked forward in interest, but he made no move towards them. He'd learned long ago to stay out of the way of a kitting queen. Besides, the cats in the nursery and medicine cat den were far more qualified to help her than he was.
Stormpatch | outside camp hunting w/ Bearswipe, Wildmane, Swansong The black and white she-cat gave a small, awkward smile as she was greeted by the other members of the hunting party. Something about the way they looked at her made her feel unwelcome. Swansong's striking gaze studied her body and she shifted on her paws, feeling a bit awkward. "Hello..." She responded in a quiet voice before the other she-cat exited camp. She glanced back at Bearswipe when the tom assured her that they meant no harm. "Of course." She answered and seeing that he wanted her to go first, she slipped quickly through the entrance and out of camp. She followed Wildmane and Swansong but she let herself fall about a tail length behind, not walking too close to the others.
Briarpaw | in camp w/ Duskmeadow Briarpaw's head swung around when she heard her mentor's voice coming from somewhere behind her, her whiskers twitching at the fact that she'd been searching in the warriors den for the black and orange molly. She trotted across camp, hurrying to join Duskmeadow. She laid on the ground beside the warrior and pressed her pelt against hers with an affectionate purr, rolling onto her side. Briarpaw was always a touchy cat, so it wasn't unlike her to be so friendly with someone she was comfortable with, like her mentor. "I wouldn't mind staying in camp a while longer. Thank you for letting me sleep in." She answered, knowing her mentor could have woken her up for the competition if she wanted to. Now she could have a nice morning off. She lifted her head and looked curiously towards the center of camp where Brindlebriar had cried out in pain, head tilting curiously as she wondered what had happened.
Rosepaw | in camp near medicine cat den, w/ Pecanpaw Rosepaw looked in Duskmeadow's direction when the older she-cat spoke, huffing in irritation. Of course he would want to join the competition. If he didn't participate the other apprentices would brag about their catches and he wouldn't have the chance to show them that he was a better hunter than most of them. Of course it must have been his own fault for sleeping in, he was usually up early so it made sense that Fennelhawk had assumed he was out already. He was still mad. "I'll just go out now then. I can catch up." He answered, standing up and turning towards the camp exit. He stopped when he heard the cry from the center of camp, spinning around and taking in the scene with flattening ears. It sounded like the queen was in pain. And even from where he stood he could see blood. Should there be that much? The young ginger tom sprinted across camp to the medicine cat den and stuck his head inside the bushes, but to his irritation it seemed Ivyheart was not inside. Did she leave camp today? How convenient. He took a step back and glanced around camp, noticing Pecanpaw sleeping near the den. If the medicine cat was gone her apprentice must be the second best. He padded over and harshly shoved a paw into the russet tom's side to wake him. "Hey! Get up. I think Brindlebriar is kitting."
