Nightstar - - [30 Moons][Leader][Molly] Where. - - Outside Camp With - - Cinderblaze, Sandpaw and Frostpaw [Robinbreeze ~Skyblaze~ ]
Nightstar had approached in time to hear Sandpaw's response to Frostpaw. The word Monster, sent a shiver down her spine. Of course, just hearing the tom speak of Frostpaw going after her sister, confirmed the leaders and every clanmates suspicion of what had happened to Skunkpaw.
As the calico molly padded up, she took a place beside Cinderblaze. Her amber eyes narrowed slightly, before softening. She would have to be kind and gentle, to get Frostpaw to tell her exactly what happened. The black furred apprentice was already shut down and reserved.
Wrapping her tail over her paws, Nightstar dipped her head. "So what exactly happened that day, Frostpaw. I want to know what happened. And why it happened." She kept her ears perked up and her voice soft as she spoke to the young molly. Keeping the tone inviting so she knew she could talk without getting in trouble. Of course, she couldn't punish the apprentices for going off on their own. They'd suffered the worst punishment of all. One was seriously injured, and her sister had almost lost her.
Immediately Frostpaw began to spill, her eyes wide and distressed and she spoke of the incident. "It was soon after Doeleap and Duskmeadow's death. A couple of sunrises later. Skunkpaw hadn't been sleeping. While everyone was still in their nests, she insisted on going after the water creature. She wanted to see what had killed her mentor, for herself. I tried to stop her. But she wouldn't go. It was either I go with her, or she would've gone alone. No one would have stopped her. She went into the hollow. Told me to wait outside of it. She swore she'd be okay, that she was just going to see what it looked like...And then..Well..She was taking to long..And then..Then Sandpaw had happened to come across me and we found her..Th..The water creature was gone..But..Sku..Skunkpaw was injured.."
At the apprentices words, the leader had heard enough to know exactly what she wanted to do. She give a nod and thanked Frostpaw, before whipping around and flicking her tail for Cinderblaze and the two apprentices to follow. Immediately, she leaped onto the meeting stump. Rising her head up, her yowl loud and echoing, she called her clan together.
"LET ALL CATS OLD ENOUGH TO CATCH THEIR OWN PREY, GATHER AROUND THE MEETING STUMP FOR A CLAN MEETING."
Frostpaw - - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Location - -Outside of camp, With - - Sandpaw, Nightstar, Cinderblaze [~Skyblaze~ Robinbreeze]- - Frostpaw searched her leader's gaze as she finished speaking, ears flattened. Anxiety swarmed through her as Nightstar thanked her and then headed back into the camp. Following after her, she turned and glanced back at Sandpaw. Worry sparked in her blue eyes before she hurried into the camp and took a place towards the camp wall, not wanting to be up close. She knew exactly what Nightstar was going to do. She knew it was time the clan went after the water creature.
Snake - - [35 Moons][Loner][Tom] Location - -Outside Leafclan Territory With - -Dewdrop [Fallenleaves ]- - Just about having given up on the idea that Dewdrop would be able to see him, Snake hung his head. In that very moment, a rustle sounded nearby. Blue eyes glowed not far from him and a familiar hiss caught his ears. Excitement seemed to burst from the tom and he bounded around the bush he'd been sitting by. The moment his eyes caught sight of the pale gold molly, a purr exploded from him chest.
Pushing up to her and wrapping himself around the medicine cat's body, he nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "I didn't think you'd be able to get out of camp. I haven't seen you in quite a few sunrises. Is everything alright.?" Worry clouded the brown tabby's green eyes as he inspected her face.

Sandpaw / Apprentice / Camp Clearing Sandpaw let Frostpaw handle the talking, simply sitting attentively to the side in case he was called upon. Not that he'd be able to offer much in response. Thankfully, it seemed that Frostpaw had it in her to provide the whole story. So that's what happened. Sandpaw mused, finally understanding the events that had led to that day. He could certainly see Skunkpaw do something like that. The apprentice had been in a dark place since her mentor's death. Of course, Sandpaw thought it was a completely mousebrained thing to do, but he kept that thought to himself. There was no point in bringing it up in this situation.
As Nightstar yowled the meeting, excitement gleamed in his eyes at the thought that the water creature would finally be dealt with. This was a real chance to prove himself to the Clan. And Frostpaw wouldn't have to worry, he would keep her sa- Why was he thinking that? He shouldn't be. That wasn't Sandpaw. He shook his head crossly at the conflicting thoughts, then hurried to join his clanmates in the clearing.
Lightfall / Warrior / Camp Clearing Lightfall padded out to join her clanmates as soon as she heard the call, her ear twitching curiously. She sat near the meeting stump and gave her gold chest a lick. She knew that paranoia and malaise had been spreading through camp in the past week, and it looked like it was finally time to address that. Action was going to be taken, and she was eager to find out what. Her eyes searched for her apprentice Briarpaw, to see if she was joining the meeting.

Flameheart- - [45 Moons][Deputy][Tom] Where. - - Back at camp With - - Snowpaw and Cobrastorm [Taiyou ]
At Cobrastorm's words, the three carefully maneuvered their way through the trees. Flameheart kept his eyes locked on Snowpaw, watching to make sure the white molly wouldn't fall. As they neared the camp, the deputy signaled that they could drop to the forest floor, before he worked his way down a tree.
As soon as his white paws hit the ground, the orange tom headed for the camp entrance. Snowpaw was at his shoulder, her blue eyes still wide from the sight of the creature. Ears twitched up as the familiar call from Nightstar sounded around the forest. She was calling a clan meeting.
Picking up his pace, he hurried for the camp. Upon reaching it, he pushed his way in and hurried to take his place at the foot of the stump, at the right side of Nightstar. He dipped his head to his clanmates, before sitting down and wrapping his tail over his paws.
Sweetberry-- [40Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where - - Moorland-Between farmhouse and the camp. With - - Russet [Taiyou ] - -
Watching him cautiously as the tom looked around, Sweetberry finally sat on her haunches. She flicked her tail tip, expressing silently that she would claw the toms ears in he tried anything. She listened carefully as he spoke of the rogue group and couldn't help but find herself believing that he wasn't apart of it. As he spoke his name, she tilted her head slightly. Then burst out in a fit of laughter as he spoke of her clans names.
"My name is Sweetberry. I have yet to have a clanmate that we call Mudface. I'm assuming you wish to cross through the forest to get to your home.? Why did you come so far away.? That's quite the distance."
Fennelhawk - - [47 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Where - -Medicine cats den. With - - Copperfall [Zz ] - - Fennelhawk stuck close to Copperfall as the tom expressed his love for him. He felt a twinge of regret that all this time, neither of them had shared with each other their true feelings. Sinking into the tom as he nuzzled him, Fennelhawk let out a sad purr. He listened carefully, keeping his eyes gentle and soft. Trying to control the sadness that ached in his chest.
Before the warrior could respond or reassure Copperfall that he shared the same feelings, the tom had taken his last breath. A low and sad moan seemed to escape from Fennelhawk, as he shoved his face into Copperfall's fur. The world around him seemed to disappear and he closed his eyes, wrapping his tail around the dead toms body. He could very faintly hear Nightstar calling the clan together, but decided to ignore her. He would spend his time in the Medicine cats den, with Copperfall. While his body was still warm.
Soft words spilled from Fennelhawk, as he brushed a paw over Copperfall's. "I loved you too. And I'm so sorry I never told you. Until we meet again."
Morningdew - - [20 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Location - -Medicine Cats Den With - - Skunkpaw [~Skyblaze~ ]- - Immediately as Skunkpaw jumped up, only to fall back into her nest, the mother wrapped herself tightly around her daughter. She ran her tongue over her ears, trying to calm her. Eyes glowed with sadness and worry. She wrapped a bush tail over her fragile black and white body.
"You must sit still, Skunkpaw. You've been gravely injured. Frostpaw is the one that brought you home. What in Starclan's name happened. What were you thinking.? The gator got you, didn't it.? Why did you go out there.? You could have died."
Almondpaw- - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Heading out of camp With - - Twilightblaze [Taiyou ] Immediately at the words "Being silent", Almondpaw clamped her mouth shut and dipped her head respectfully. She opened her jaws and could pick up the scent of a squirrel, not far from them. Crouching down, she headed slowly in the direction of the squirrel. Wanting to show her mentor she was paying attention, she kinked her tail up over her back, in a silent direction of 'Follow me.'
Upon the command, she slunk around a bush and stopped short a little distance later. She could spot the squirrel a few fox-lengths away. It was scavenging at the base of a tree. Holding her tail erect, she demanded a silent 'Stop!' before pointing her tail sharply to tell her mentor to go around, closer to the tree. She'd be able to scare the squirrel, straight towards Almondpaw.
Poseidon - [60 Moons][Loner][Tom] Where - - Outside of Leafclan territory. With - - Sakura. [Robinbreeze ] (Will RP these two again after the battle with the gator.)

As the clan gathered, Nightstar stood tall. A soft breeze seemed to spread through the camp, making her long fur move around her. She let her amber eyes sweep over her clanmates. After a moment, she flicked her tail up, demanding silence from any talking clan members. Keeping silent, she gathered her thoughts, before speaking. Her voice was edged with a tone that demanded no interruptions or arguments. In this very moment, what she said and what she decided, was what she demanded to be respected.
"As many of you know. We have been tormented by a strange water creature. Many of us have not seen it. We have only heard rumors from others. We lost two very respected and missed members of our clan. And not too many sunrises ago, we almost lost one of our apprentices. I have decided that we must take action. We can not wait around any longer to learn of this creature and its ways. We MUST get rid of this monster, before it destroys us!"
As she spoke, her tail lashed from side to side and her muscles rippled beneath her skin. One would never guess that the very molly had grown ill, as she hid it well. Pushing away the ache in her chest and the tickle in her throat. She pushed through the fog in her mind as she slammed a paw down on the stump she was standing on.
"There will be two patrols. One led by me. One led by Flameheart. We will travel through the trees and their branches. No warrior or apprentice is to travel by ground. Once there, We will drop prey in the clearing by the stream. Flameheart's patrol will travel closest to the stream. They will wait until the creature is lured out, before jumping from the trees and blocking its way back to the stream. At Flameheart's call, my patrol will attack the gator. Everyone must watch carefully. Watch for yourself and for your clanmates. We must not let this thing get ahold of us. We must protect each other!"
After a moment, letting the plan sink among her clanmates, she started to call out names. She already had her battle plan in her head. She needed fast and strong warriors. Smart warriors. Apprentices she knew she could rely on. She couldn't take everyone, but she could take enough.
"My patrol, the main attack patrol will consist of.. Cobrastorm.(Tai) Frostpaw.(Me) Sandpaw.(Sky) Cinderblaze.(Robin) Wildmane. (Fallen) Larkshadow(Sky) Lilyfire (Nimble) Icestorm."(Me)
"Flameheart's patrol, the one to block the water and attack from the back, Bearswipe(Fallen) Swansong(Fallen) Jadepaw.(Nimble) Walnutpaw.(Me) Lightfall.(Sky) Thistletongue.(Me) Shadowstorm.(Copper)"
With that, the leader jumped down from the stump and started to gather her warriors around her. She flicked her tail to Flameheart, who was also gathering his warriors. They would head out together, and then split off once they got close to the training hollow. After a moment, both Flameheart and Nightstar started heading out of the camp, waving their tails for their patrols to follow.
(For anyone else that wants their characters to join in. Even if I didn't name them, just join in with whatever character/s you want!)

Pushing her way out of the camp, Nightstar padded the distance to the beginning of the crowded trees. Gazing up at the large oak forest before her, the calico molly took a deep breath. Waving her tail to her warriors, she pointed upwards, before leaping up a tree trunk. Claws digging into the bark, she worked her way up the tree, until she was quite the distance from the ground. Finding a sturdy branch, she moved her way along it, until she came to an overlap from her tree to the next. Glancing behind her, to be sure her clan was following, the leader started to work her way from branch to branch. Tree to tree. Heading towards the training hollow where Harmony stream sat. She kept her ears pricked and eyes narrowed as she worked amongst the trees, tail waving behind her, keeping her balanced.
At Nightstars command, Frostpaw worked her way up the tree after Nightstar. In the tree next to her, Icestorm clawed his way up the trunk. He moved with such ease, as if he had climbed every single day of his life. Clamped tightly in his jaws was a thick rabbit. One of the pieces of prey that would hopefully lure out the water creature. Frostpaw flattened her ears, as she thought of what the clan was about to face. She herself, had no idea what this monster looked like. All she knew, was it could cause serious harm. Part of her was ready to get the creature, especially after what it had done to Skunkpaw. Yet, another part of her was terrified for her life. What if she wasn't fast enough.? What if it got ahold of her.? What if it killed her father.? What if it got Sandpaw..? At the thought of the tom, her eyes searched for him amongst the crowd of warriors that were working their way through the trees.
As the deputy and Icestorm dropped the prey, Nightstar signaled her patrol to take their places, scanning out around the prey so they could surprise attack the gator when it approached. Her gaze sought out Cobrastorm and Wildmane, Hoping they were close enough to be on either side of her. She signaled for Cinderblaze and Larkshadow to stick close to Frostpaw and Sandpaw.
Flameheart- - Thistletongue - - Walnutpaw [45 Moons][Deputy][Tom] Where. - - Harmony Stream With - -Bearswipe, Swansong, Jadepaw, Lightfall, Shadowstorm [Fallenleaves nimble ~Skyblaze~ Copperstar☂]
A large fish resting limp in his jaws, Flameheart followed close after Nightstar. He worked his way through the trees, Working his way after warriors and apprentices. The clan kept close together. Of all the moons of practicing climbing and battle training among the large oaks that made out Leafclan territory, Flameheart had never been more pleased with his clan. Watching them maneuver through the trees, as if they had never set paws on the ground below. As they reached the hollow, he held his tail up in a command for warriors to stop. Below them was the very hollow where the stream sat. Many fox-lengths away from them, was the stream. It flowed steadily towards the Moonlite Sea.
In a silent command, both him and Icestorm worked their way away from the group. The two warriors waited until they were in between the patrol and the stream, before ripping open they prey to allow the blood to flow and the scent to fill the air. They then dropped the rabbit and fish below before heading back to the group. Icestorm stuck close to Nightstar's group, while Flameheart called for his warriors to join him.
"Bearswipe. Swansong. Walnutpaw. Thistletongue. Jadepaw. Lightfall. Shadowstorm. This way."
Leading his clanmates in a half circle, he worked his way over to the stream. Once he was positioned in a tree above the stream, he settled onto the branch, waiting. His green eyes locked on the water below. In a branch in the next tree over, sat Walnutpaw. His long flowing tail, curled tightly against his side as he waited for the command to jump. Thistletongue had worked his way over a distance from the deputy, positioning himself almost directly across from the orange tom. The would land in a line behind the gator when it approached.

As Nightstar announced the battle plan in front of the entire clan, Cinderblaze listened, smiling as she heard her name be called out. It would be an honor to fight with the clan against this threat. When cats began heading out of the camp and into the trees of the forest, Cinderblaze followed within the group, walking with a lifted head and confident steps. She had high hopes for this attack, as she tried to be optimistic, but deep down, she knew that it might not end well. Swiftly, with practiced ease, she followed her clanmates into the trees and through the dipping and waving branches until they reached Harmony Stream. As Flameheart led the second patrol to the other side of the training hollow, the pale gray she-cat searched the water for the water monster that her clanmates talked about. She wanted to see what she could be they reached the point of fighting it. Cinderblaze acknowledged Nightstar’s signal with a silent dip of her head and moved through the branches to Frostpaw’s side. Placing her tail on the apprentice’s haunches, she blinked reassuringly to her before bringing her gaze once more to the stream.

Wildmane met her leaders gaze and gave a nod. Her hackles had already risen and her mane had stood to its full height, her appearance that of a tiny lion.
When her gaze dropped to the forest floor and the steam her eyes burned with hate. This creature would die today, she would make sure of it.
Swansong glared through the branches at her sister, seeing the blaze in her eyes. The white she-cat hissed lowly and looked away, a different kind of hate in her gaze.
Bearswipe stayed close to his apprentice, his breath coming fast as he watched the water. What was this monster? Would they be able to stop it? He searched through the trees to spy both of his sisters, fear gripped his heart as he watched them. ‘Please Starclan, protect them.’ He preyed and unconsciously curled his tail towards his apprentice, the one cat he might actually be able to protect.

As the clan sat in there places, everyone still and almost silent, Nightstar waited. After what seemed like ages, the calico molly shifted. Her ears flattened slightly when nothing happened. The water didn't stir even a little. It made an uneasy feeling fall over Nightstar. Without question, she knew..This thing was too smart to come after prey that wasn't moving. It liked the chase. The thrill of its attack.
Taking a deep breath, regret in her amber eyes, she turned to Wildmane. She gave the dark colored molly a faint nod, giving her permission to go through with the idea that she had suggested. Part of her longed to be the one to go down from the trees. But she felt she would disrespect Wildmane, by assuming she couldn't handle it.
"Wildmane. Do what needs to be done..And please. Be careful. Be fast. I don't want to lose you."
She kept her voice low, so only the ones closest to her could hear. She knew many of her warriors wouldn't agree with Wildmane acting as bait. Especially her siblings. Yet, the molly was a capable warrior and one of the faster members of the clan. Faster than Nightstar herself. They needed to get this creature out. They needed to end this now.
Flameheart- - Thistletongue - - Walnutpaw [45 Moons][Deputy][Tom] Where. - - Harmony Stream With - -Bearswipe, Swansong, Jadepaw, Lightfall, Shadowstorm [Fallenleaves nimble ~Skyblaze~ Copperstar☂ ]
After many moments had passed, Flameheart turned his green gaze to Nightstar. He stared at her with a question in his eyes. But the leader didn't seem to notice him. She was talking to Wildmane, yet he was too far away to hear what they were saying.
Around him, he could feel tension filling the air. The clan was on edge, probably wondering the same as him. Where was this creature. And why hadn't it come out. It made a growl rumble in his throat. Around him, he could hear his growl rumbling from other warriors. Thistletongue's growing the loudest.
Walnutpaw accepted his mentors comfort beside him. He flicked him gently with his tail, blinking at Bearswipe to reassure him that he was alright and he could handle his own. Yet he was grateful for the older toms strength beside him. He was quick on his paws, but that did not mean he would be safe.

Cobrastorm felt his fur twitch with excitement and anticipation at the announcement of the battle plan against the water creature. He looked around at the cats that gathered for both patrols and knew the cats Nightstar chosen were determined to see an end to the monster, for their lives in the forest to return back to the normalcy that they knew of. Following his clanmates out the camp to and once at Harmony Stream, Cobrastorm made his way up the nearest tree to get a good view at the water below them, he took a glance around to his clan around and below him hoping that with their numbers they could put an end to the monster and that hope was strong. Cobrastorm noticed Frostpaw with Cinderblaze, Larkshadow and Sandpaw knowing they would watch out for each, his glaze went over to Nightstar as he settled on to a branch just near her ready to attack at her signal.

Brindlebriar- ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ Brindles ears perked up. Their leader was calling for a clan meeting. Calling out to thistle to come back, she dashed into camp, staying away from the other cats. Sickness was still going around, and she needed to protect herself for the sake of Brightkit. Listening intently, her eyes wide, fear gripped her. The clan was going to attack the water monster who killed and harmed many of the clan. Herself and Thistletongue would join in the attack. It had been moons since her and her mate were able to fight side by side, yet fear made her paws tingle. She was determined to keep herself and the father of their beloved kit alive in this fight. Nodding her head as her leader spoke, she leaned onto Thistletongue for support. This was it.
Rainpaw - ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ Rainpaw let out a loud squeak of surprise when his mentor slammed into him, totally off guard. Rolling under, the little tom bunny kicked his mentors back side, keeping his claws in. "If this were a real fight, I could win!" He huffed, out of breath. He was not a strong cat, and fighting was one of his big weaknesses, but he liked to think that he was big enough to take down any cat he saw.

“Don’t worry.” Wildmane answered just as softly before sprinting along the branch and taking a leap once she reached the lowest point.
With a grunt the black molly landed hard and too a moment to gather herself. The prey was scattered but a tail length away and once the ache in her limbs had faded Wildmane slid forward between them towards the stream. Ears perked she neared the bank, eyes scanning the water.
Finally with a hearty growl she stepped into the water just enough to cover her paws. Lowering her head the molly began to lap at the water, even as her eyes remained on the dark depths of the stream.
After awhile, unsure if she could drink anymore water, Wildmane lifted her head to look up at Nightstar. A yowl of warning that sounded oddly familiar was the only thing that save the black molly.
Instinctively she leapt and twisted as the water exploded, the creature faster than anything Wildmane had ever seen before. It was a blur and then sharp pain thundered through her as the creatures teeth dig into her flank. The positioning was wrong however, thanks to Wildmane’s swift movement and the creature’s force hit her odd, flinging her away towards the dead prey on the bank.
The creature surged after and Wildmane struggled to her feet just in time to spring away, a spurt of blood spraying the ground where she’d lain.

Watching with wide Amber eyes, Nightstar held her breath as her warrior reached the water. She crouched low on the branch she was in, every inch of her body tensed up. Ears pricked up and gaze searching the water as Wildmane approached it. After many heartbeats, and Wildmane taking a long drink, nothing happened. The leader willed her warrior to stay still, just a little longer. But as eyes turned to her, staring at her in question, Calico fur started to bristle. As the water rippled behind Wildmane, Nightstar opened her jaws to let out a warning, but before she could, Wildmane had managed to twist herself. In the same very moment, a huge lizard like creature exploded from the water. His wide mouth and sharp teeth snapped right on the dark furred warrior below. As Wildmane struggled away, just in time, leaving blood behind, Nightstar flung herself from the tree she was in.
"LEAFCLAN! ATTACK! BLOCK THE WATER! FIND ITS WEAK SPOTS! WATCH ITS FEET AND JAWS!"
As she screeched the command, she landed heavily on the ground. Surging forwards, she swiped past the creature in a blurr. Claws flashed out to smack it over the nose, drawing its attention from Wildmane and to her. She turned on her paws, back arched and fur puffed out so she looked twice her size. A snarl erupted from her throat and her ears were so tight against her head, she looked like she had none. She pushed down the terror that filled her as the giant creature turned on her, watching her with beady eyes.
- - -
At Nightstar's lead, Icestorm leapt from branch to branch, until he was low enough to leap to the ground. He followed close after his leader. Crouching low as the giant creature turned on his leader. Tail lashing and fur rising along his spine, the massive tom spit at the threat. Claws dug into the ground as he waited for the creature to make a move. He started to weave the other way, so the creature had to watch the both of them. A heavy paw stomped the ground, shaking it beneath his feet as the creature slammed its huge paw to the ground. It had massive claws poking from its foot. Its foot almost as large as a cat.
Fear sparking through Frostpaw, the black apprentice's fur stuck on end. Her eyes widened in complete horror at the size and looks of the water creature. She let out a fearful cry as it went after Wildmane. This was the thing that had almost killed her sister. That had killed Doeleap and Duskmeadow. How in Starclan..Would they defeat it. As scared as she was, the apprentice followed after her father and leader. She kept to the edged of the clearing, letting the warriors be closest. She was quick on her paws, and knew she would do the best damage trying to get close to it and distract it if it got ahold of anyone or close to them. She would be able to dart in and out without an issue.
Flameheart- - Thistletongue - - Walnutpaw [45 Moons][Deputy][Tom] Where. - - Harmony Stream With - -Bearswipe, Swansong, Jadepaw, Lightfall, Shadowstorm [Fallenleaves nimble ~Skyblaze~ Copperstar☂ ]
As Wildmane approached the water, Flameheart couldn't help but want to screech in protest, yet the orange and white tom kept his jaws clamped shut. The warrior and Leader had made the decision and it was already in place. There was no changing it now. He watched the water, eyes willing for Wildmane to get out of the way in time. He cursed under his breath when the molly turned her head from the water. It took the split second of distraction for the water creature to explode from the water. Forcing his paws to stay put in the tree, he waited for the call from Nightstar. Growling once more, as he watched Wildmane push away from the creature, leaving blood trails behind. In a split second, Nightstar was on the forest floor, screeching the battle cry. Flameheart followed, calling out loud and commanding to his patrol.
"Attack from behind! Block the water! Watch yourself! Watch your clanmates! Whatever you do, don't let it get ahold of you!" With that, the deputy leapt from his branch and landed square behind the creature. He lashed out with a claw, hissing threats at the giant lizard like monster. It was massive, once he was on the ground and close to it. It hardly reacted to his claws, keeping its attention on the patrol in front of it.
Walnutpaw let out a defiant cry as he joined his deputy. He stood his ground, back arching up and fur puffing out. "You'll regret ever messing with us!" His paw flashed out and smacked the creature tail.
Thistletongue gave Brindlebriar one last lick, begging Starclan to keep her safe as he joined his deputy in blocking the water. A yowl escaped him as he crouched low, keeping sharp eyes on the creature. He would attack it when called for, not a moment before.

(I won't be on tomorrow. If I do get on, it'll be after 7pm. I will be on Friday, for most of the day. Everyone can get some posts up tomorrow to go with the gator attack. You can rp the gator hurting your characters as well as your characters trying to get at the gator. When I get on tomorrow night or Friday, I will rp Flameheart's death. Can't wait to read everyones replies and what they have happen in their interaction with the gator!)

Lilyfire leapt from branch to branch, following quickly after Nightstar. The beast was massive, its green scales rippled with muscles as it crawled forward, flashing its many teeth. It snapped its jaws, eyeing her and the other warriors. It's long tail thrashed, splashing mud around as it swished side to side. Lilyfire crept forward, her spine curved and her tail fluffed. She hissed, praying that the large creature wouldn't crawl forward and lock her in its massive jaw. It reeked of dead prey and river water, and its legs were mud covered. The beast was impressive, in its horrendous galore. She hissed again, her eyes narrowed and her pupils at a point. She would attack when it was safest, and not a moment sooner.
Jadepaw watched as Nightstar, her mother, and the other warriors surrounded the large creature. She and the others cut off its access to the water, and she prayed it wouldn't turn around and scoop them up. When she and her mother had been listed for the attack plan, her heart had sank. Was she going to lose her mum like she had lost her dad all those moons ago? She put on a brave face, and looked back at the creature. The battle had begun as she watched many warriors launch themselves into the creature, it thrashing below them.

As soon as Nightstar called out the battle cry, Shadowstorm was on the ground blocking the water. His paws shook in fear as he realized how big the thing was. He hissed at it and arched his back, trying to look braver than he actually felt. He prayed to Starclan that no cat would get injured too badly.

Cinderblaze listened as Nightstar gave Wildmane permission to go down as bait for the monster. Inside, she felt disappointed that her idea had failed to keep the warrior safe, but on the outside, her fur was bristling with tension. She watched as the monster exploded from the water and snapped towards the dark-furred warrior. It was huge, bigger than the pale gray warrior could have imagined, and it slid along the ground with what looked like minimal effort. Cinderblaze felt her heart fall in her chest as her optimism began to fade, but she gave the creature a fierce glare. Following the Leafclan warriors as they sprang into an attack against this water creature, she gave a confident yowl and planted a blow to the side of the long beast, flinching as her claws barely reached passed it’s thick scales. Cinderblaze backed away to take a long look at the water creatures scaly body before glancing around for Frostpaw. Noticing her around the edges, Cinderblaze bounded closer so she could have a better view of both her and the beast. Then, moving closer to the creature, she lashed out again, forcing her weight against its hard body.

(I feel like I should give Sky, Brindle, Fallen and Tai a chance to reply before replying. I want everyone to have an opportunity to rp their characters with the gator.)

(Oh, Sky. I'm so sorry to hear that and I'm glad he's alright. My thoughts are with you and I totally understand. I wasn't meaning to push anyone, if that's what they felt like, I just want everyone to have a chance to rp in this plotline. <3)

Brindle flattened her ears when Thistletongue gave her one final lick. She quickly took his scent in and the sensation of him being beside her incase it was the last time. She must protect the clan. For my kits. She thought as she jumped from the branch. Thistletongue was by the water now. She quickly scanned for an opening in the fight, and watched as Nightstar swiped at the large creatures nose. Watching as the deputy and all other cats worked and fought quickly with the strength and speed of their ancestors, Brindle let out a blood curdling yowl, jumping and twisting as she attempted a swipe at the large and dangerous animals eyes. Missing and barely escaping the animals large jaws, she fluffed up. Finding her footing, she stepped back, waiting for another chance. If she could just get the eyes on the large monster, she would destroy is view and have to focus on its other senses, and seeing how large and somewhat clumsy the animal was, she was hoping the other senses were not an strong.
Glancing over to her mate, making sure he was still safe, she nodded to him, letting him know she was alright. For now. It wasn't often that a queen was allowed to fight in such a battle, but she begged her leader to be useful. She would be a mess at camp alone.
