Off to go research other buildings in other large cities in England, because I think that's the closest I'm going to get when it comes to the interior's content.

Conway would totally have named Arthur's leeches.
Just saying.

Bloodletting is still a thing, so Arthur probably has leeches. Conway is the other character in the story I'm writing and he's the sort who'd name the leeches. In this case, after discussion with a friend, he would name at least 4 of them Gary.

Sometimes I think about how historians either think John Dee manipulated Edward Kelley, Edward Kelley manipulated John Dee, or that they were gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
There's just the two major schools of thought and then there's the side school of thought but still not exactly a small one and it brings me immense humor.
Do I have a side? No. Do I have popcorn for whatever the heck happened hundreds of years ago? Yes. Anyone wanna share?

So if I'm in Germany, I'm still 7 hours away from that rare article and I wouldn't even know if I could get it if I went to where it's held. I am curious if I'll have other reason to travel to the Munich area.

Edward Kelley makes me very uncomfortable to write a POV from. Truthfully, John Dee isn't much better. But for different reasons.
Arthur Dee is a particular kind of difficult.

Emailed the only people I know who is currently alive and studying Arthur Dee. We apparently don't have a lot to talk about, ha ha, but she did tell me she's gonna publish something new come late this year. I'm hyped. More research stuff. Goodness ... I want to write my graduate paper on this man, but he's out of my field, gosh darn it. :/

Okay, okay. To start off with, I've found out when Arthur officially became a doctor ... and it was 3 years AFTER the college first got after him, so who knows how long he was an illegal doctor for. The college got after him in 1606. He got his actual, like, cred. in 1609 at a foreign university. Then they finally press charges in 1612. XD Goodness! But I have found other things! Like the original document for his will! To add to that, I have an arm length list of places I need to go in London around my schoolwork. Yee goddness. To add to that //drum roll// I FOUND THE SECOND HARDEST TO FIND ARTHUR DEE DOCUMMENT! Whoot! The first I may never see. It's from a publication in 1946 in a journal that's still running and the furthest back I've ever found records was 1951. Soooo ... probably out of luck on that one. But now I have a bunch more documents that I still need to catalog. I started doing that yesterday. I so far have a pretty decent family tree set up and I've started adding dates. Added to that, I've also located MS Sloene's sleeves and can proooooobably look at them in person when I go to London? Maybe? I at least have a written description of what's on them.
