Well, at least she eats them. Or gifts them. And the mockingbirds, quite frankly, deserve it. They most certainly do not. You should really do something to prevent your cat from killing things; Iโd recommend keeping her indoors but youโre probably not going to. At the very least, you should get her a collar with a bell on it. This is good advice, except for the bell part. Bells can be EXTREMELY painful for a cat's ears, they hear sooo much better than humans, and I can't imagine having a bell constantly ringing in my ears.

According to Veterinary PhD student Rachel Malakani, a collar bell will produce sound at about 50-60 dB, but studies have shown cats to be unaffected by sounds under 80 dB.โ - www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/general-science/should-i-attach-bell-my-cats-collar

Yeah, obviously theyโre not as effective as just keeping the cat inside but they have been found to reduce kills by around half, so itโs better than nothing, and relatively cheap and easy.

Yeah, true, my cats are strict indoor cats, and one of them announces her presence everytime she enters the room XD so I wouldn't need them, but I can see them being a fantastic thing for other people's cats

Hey guys, remember the Sol Stomp meme? Well, imagine it but with Sol stomping on the tunnels so that they all cave it.
I totally thought of this myself. STOMP STOMP STOMP!

At the very least, you should get her a collar with a bell on it. The mockingbirds attack her first. A lot. Even when she's on fences. And she barely ever reacts to them, and it's even more rare for her to kill them. But you're right, they don't deserve it, I was just getting worked up. She always manages to lose her collars, no matter what we do. If we keep her inside, well, she's an outdoor cat. She'll constantly be begging and waiting by the door. Plus, it's her instincts to hunt, and we did have a bit of a rabbit problem before this, and she doesn't actually kill that much. Maybe only one thing a month.

Aw, those poor animals. Yeah. I feel the worst for lizards. I hate when she kills birds and lizards the most. Birds are so hard to clean up. At least she either eats or gifts them. *shivers* Yuck.

Yeah when Heathertail (or the kits?) blanked about the under ground tunnels Lion and Heather played in. Onestar used the tunnels to attack Thunderclan (I think in the middle of the night? I can't remember). Hooray, for once someone can be proud of Onestar.

I knew of the dumb battle that Onestar caused, but I didn't remember the circumstances surrounding it, I just thought he attacked ThunderClan, because he was pissed they kept taking in outsiders.

Well, kind of. According to Onestar, he attacked because he didn't consider ThunderClan to be true warriors for a variety of reasons.

It amazes me every time, how you know exactly where to find certain parts of books. He does kind of have a point, they should focus on their own clan, before helping outsiders, but that's still no reason to attack ThunderClan. I also don't see how Firestar helping out cats from outside the clan affects WindClan in anyway, so why did Onestar care so much?
