an interesting idea for waspclan is perhaps the territory has small tributary rivers weaving through it, in a pattern that from above would look like the webbing on a wasp's wing, which would make fish one of their primary prey. also, there could be like, spillway waterfalls [example] setting an ambiance for the territory since it's on a mountain slope. and maybe like a Location on the map could be some boulders which detached from the mountain and rolled downhill

Since their camp is nearby a creek, maybe the creek actually like hugs around their camp? Like it creates a C shape around it, leaving a little walkway of ground that opens up to a clear patch of grass. Since their clan also has some spare boulders, maybe some of the dens are under the shade of some larger rocks. The elders den could even be a nice slab of flat rock, so they can sub themselves easier. c:

And i love the idea of beetleclan living underground, at least part of the year. I was also thinking they could be nomadic and habe several camps they rotate beween in different seasons

it makes sense that the waterfall would be near the base of the mountain! poor waspclan, serving as the barrier between spiderclan and the other clans. if spiderclan got beef with beetleclan they have to go through a whole clan to attack them.

All cats group communally here, though the very back is reserved for the medicine cats and their stock. It's dark, but one of the main fall duties before the move is for all cats to help load leaves, moss and feathers into the space to keep it warm and cozy throughout the cold season. Winter camp is the place they are most vulnerable, and so is kept a top secret from other Clans. spring-camp -> atop a hill close to their waspclan border beneath one of the few small stands of trees on their territory. They are young maples and bud early, providing the Clan with cover as the territory starts to grow. Most the dens are in thick holly and juniper bushes and it is almost a competition to see which den can be covered with wildflowers collected from the blooming plains. summer-camp -> the clan is almost completely nomadic in the summer seasons, never staying in the same location twice in a row. It is easy for them to stomp out flat areas in the grasses for a common space, and the elders and queens find a nice central bush for cover. The other members sleep in the open air, or in nearby shelters in small, personal groups if it rains. summer is a time of plenty, and many nights end in a large feast along with singing and dancing performances by anyone willing. Each cat that wishes to sing can pick a rock on the territory, sending bright song with the crickets through the night. |

Maybe the Beetleclan cats even have an additional adaptation, where they can see in the dark better than the other clans, since they sometimes live in underground chambers? The only worrisome thing about being a nomadic clan is that it would be difficult for elders and young kits to move around frequently, especially if they're entirely nomadic in the summer. So maybe it would be best if they had a single summer camp instead of constantly moving during that season. Another thing is that each season's camp could be based on the availability of prey, since that's how many species of migrating animals work. So perhaps the location of each camp is near the most plentiful source of prey for that season? |

BTW, if the camp is in the branches of a cluster of trees or on a steep cliff ( โโะพฯ , for the climbing, wasn't sure if they're good at climbing trees or cliffs) then wouldn't it make sense for them to be masters of architecture? I mean, they have to build the camp suspended up there, and have it be safe to have a large group of cats all on it at once! It also matches with the spider part, and gives them a special art type for gatherings! Yeah, maybe they have the most elaborate, structurally-sound camps of the four clans? |

Tree-climbing I think is better suited to Mothclan, since they build their dens into the trees. Perhaps Mothclan is kind of like Skyclan, and is good at hunting in the trees and such? Just an idea c:
Edit: What if Mothclan has their entire camp built into the trees, kind of like a tree house type camp?

Up to you, Brokenstar ! Prolly best if their territory is on cliffs, but the camp itself can be anything as far as I'm concerned. Well, in that case: How about they are good at both, but way better at mountains, and are only good at climbing trees from their camp, and this entrance/exit is used only by elders, kits, queens, and inexperienced apprentices, and there is a small outcrop of trees (Barely surviving) right next to a wide hoodoo about as tall as the trees, and the trees are just used for having a longer camp, as well as an easier way to get down (Since they can sink their claws into wood, but not stone), and the camp is on both the hoodoo and the trees, extended onto both, and only stable and safe to use from expert architecture? Went a little overboard on an explanation, didn't I?  |
