XX. XX.XXXXA Grim Charity Indeed
Prominent Keynote Speaker Found Dead in Mist of Charity Drive... By XxxxThis past weekend, Six Stars & Silver Feather, two successful independent organizations, hosted a joint charity drive for XXX. Both groups are known for hosting various charity drives year round for various groups, organizations, hospitals, and whatever else they seem to find the time to aid in. As someone who has had the chance to visit both groups hosting different events, it came as a sudden surprise to see a joint operation. Nonetheless, the event was fare and beyond evereyone’s exceptions. [citation:interviewees] For a first time joint operation they delivered in a way that “made guests feel like they always been to these events.” [Interviewee] The event went well, until midway through when the fire alarm went off , thus forcing all guests, and employees to relocate for safety. After first responders arrived on the scene, confirmed no actual fire on the site, it was law enforcement that came out and broke the bad news of a robbery in the mist of the alarm. Just when things couldn’t get any worse, prominent keynote speaker XXX was pronounced dead on the scene.
News of the keynote speaker’s death spread like wild fire. Within a day, rumors , theories, and speculation , spread like wildfire. As of this moment, no official details have been revealed on the death of the keynote speaker. But after speaking with guests and employees alike, there is reason to believe that two employees, one of each from their respective companies , were the first to discover the body.
We reached out to both Six Stars, and Silver Feather for comment. As of writing this, we have yet to receive a direct statement addressing the Robbery turned death. XX.XX.XXXXThe Court of Twit an Er
The Internet’s Wrath Follows Suit By, XxxxFollowing shortly after the tragic events of the most hyped charity event of the year, rumors have been speculating online. Leading these rumors is the #LyingThroughTheirTeeth. And if you are probably asking yourself, why this hashtag seems familiar, that is because this hashtag has been flying the web for the past six months , being used to attack other prominent well known companies and organizations. Many of other big names have been thrown to a growing “trash fire” of leaks and rumors, later following with evidence to back up these claims. Some being minuscule, others being more interpersonal. Regardless of the scams, tax fraud, and at times accusations, in this half year alone, companies hit by this growing hashtag have been downsizing, or outright liquidating its existence.
The Hashtag #LyingThroughTheirTeeth arose quickly after the fire turned murder at last weeks charity event. The event where prominent keynote speaker XXX was found death on the scene following a hoax alarm used to divert the audience, for an attempted robbery.
The police have since addressed the public with minimal information, with the story that the keynote’s speakers life came at the coast of being at “the wrong place at the wrong time.” (Quoted by Deputy)
This hashtag surfacing around these two entities aims to boldly prove that the police information public ally provided is false. These leaks further infer that the investigation is being skewed to provide what it seeks fit to the public. We have reached out to XXXX county sherif for further comments. As of writing this, we have received no words on the matter.
We also reached out to Six Stars, and Silver Feather, no comment on the matter. [EDIT] As of the final revision, both entities have sent out a public apology to its guests, and a hefty closure towards the Prominent Keynote Speaker’s XXX family.
Now seeing this hashtag rise on both Six Stars, and Silver Feather; one question remains? Will these two entities take the “trash fire” and attempt damage control? Or, will these two sub comb to the public’s rage, and disappear as their many other strong standing entities?

The Following is Information on the Companies involved:
"Who are _____" - Article Public Bias/Info [Open | Size 12 / quotes size 10 | Font Courier New] "____ Classified" - Insider, employee/employer Information [In Spoiler Tag | Font Times new Roman | Size 10]
Who are Six Stars? An expanding and rising star.
"Six Stars Dry Cleaning was founded in 1898 as a family owned and operated business, centered around a close-knit circle of people. It quickly grew due to investing and holdings in other shared companies, expanding and merging with other companies, showing that small businesses can truly gain a foothold in the larger industry. It continues to grow under the branding of Six Stars to many different fields of influence, all managed by a skilled team of business-people as they make strides to continue to diversify. Currently, Six Stars holds a small chain of markets in North America, a chain of laundry-business in Canada, and several other prosperous holdings." During its expansion, Six Stars has come into power quite by surprise to any outsider concerned. They have expanded into many different corners of the globe by seemingly unrelated marketing and business enterprises. However, wherever they take root, they seem to flourish. Even if the branding brings something different to mind depending on the location, it has become a well-recognized logo in its own right.
Currently, Six Stars is run by Aliissa E. Vermilion. Little is known about the CEO, who refuses to comment on any interviews, but according to records has held the position for ten years. Previous owner of Six Stars is Alexander P. Gaza, who died at the age of 45 while still holding the position after 23 years. Currently, the Head of Departments, Percival Regimald (26)is responding to the recent outcry. He has been with Six Stars for six years, though the business has been with his family almost since Six Stars' founding. He has a Master's degree in business and has experience in a wide range of skills and jobs. Other members of the immediate Six Stars staff seem to be closely in contact and have an equally varied set of experiences to draw from.
With experience in so many fields, will it be enough for Six Stars to fight off the heat from #LyingThroughTheirTeeth ? Or will this company drown by the outcries, lose funding, and be forced to close like many others?
Six Stars Classified:Rather vague business with holdings in many different countries and fields. Sometimes it sponsors other businesses for shares or some form of control in the goings on of it.
On paper, CEO is Aliissa Vermilion. Her second is Percival Winfred Regimald III.
Any searching will turn up only six members of the organization officially listened, though others turn up with paperwork and official identification all the time. Most just assume it's a publicity stunt to match the name. Any efforts to contact Mrs. Vermilion has proved futile. Though we all assume she actually exists. Most of the other employees are not impossible to contact, though apparently anyone who wishes to prays that they don't get Percival because he isn't the best talker.
To put it lightly.
The biggest Six Stars business is a movie theater chain in Southern US, a scattering of hospitals in Britain, a laundry chain in Canada, and a couple large businesses in lower California.
For those a bit deeper in the knowledge of what Six Stars is, they know how to find the phone number that calls to Clarinet and they know that the important holdings of Six Stars don't bear their name.
Founded in the earlier days of Ancient Egypt by "Aliissa" and "Alexander," the precursor to Six Stars started out as a vigilante-type justice movement meant to reduce the population of any arsonist vampires which might arise from accidental and purposeful vampire creation. It remained only a group of two, with no other expansions or changes for many years before expanding to accommodate Aliissa's newest charge, Percival. Soon after, "Alexander" disappeared with only a couple words of warning, reducing the group to two once again. After many years, usually hundreds at a time, the group expanded - first Clarinet, then unspecified member, then Marcus, and within the last hundred years Armando. As the inner circle grew, so did the outer layers of the groups sphere, even though the Six Stars business is relatively very new other incarnations of similar functionality have existed.
Percival is the true current head of the organization, since Aliissa stepped down after a particularly violent death of a fellow Six Stars member. The official step-down has yet to be propagated, so currently the issue remains under wraps. Aliissa has since moved on to a more politically related field under a different name.
Six Stars employs several thousand people per individual chain, but there are several rings of information that only certain members get. Employed for the "front" - the Dry Cleaning, the Theater, etc. - are given only the information related to the actual place of employment or related chains if needed. Nothing about the true purpose of Six Stars. Other 'members' of Six Stars can include human or things more fantastical, who know the direct purpose of Six Stars as an organization, but do not belong to the core center of operations. These members are ones which are not listed on any particular external sight and never have any personal or business contention to the respective chains. Instead, they are a ghost company, as it was, paid for and also as a volunteer basis depending on personal stakes. These 'members' often function as a neighborhood watch, reporting back to the main circle of Six Stars employees if a situation gets dangerous enough or if these particular members cannot handle the situation.
The inner circle - originally the six members who are the origins of the company name - are made up of Percival, Marcus, Armando, and Clarinet. (Previously Aliissa and another unspecified member.) This inner circle is a last line of defense, specially trained to deal with more dangerous situations revolving around rogue vampires and in particular arsonist vampires. In this case, they tend to work in groups of two with a "person in the chair" remaining behind to keep lines of communication open. But at the current time they are understaffed and as the world expands they are finding the demand and seriousness of a case requires more than their current specialized circle. This realization has been slow coming until the seriousness of this factor dawned due to a death and resignation (of their founder) during a very short period of time. Currently Clarinet remains the "person in the chair," but often has to do this while on a case with her work-partner Armando. Many times, the current skeleton crew of Six Stars has to run the dangerous operations of doing cases individually rather than more effective pairs as they try and work out if or when they can appoint someone else to the position when they might not directly be related to their vampiric line.
Who are the Silver Feather's?
Parks, Forests, Nature, Wildlife; wherever the natural world rests, this unique group of park rangers are to follow.
"The Silver Feather was founded in 1816 as an independent militia for a small group migrating west during a time when California was occupied by Mexico. Pulling some strings the Silver Feather's group was successfully able to settle in the early times of California, with their Militia carefully watching over the small newly settled community. Until 1852, the Militia was officially recognized by the newly formed state of California & funded by the state to further assist in newly forming communities as a response of the Gold Rush." This group has since expanded at a global level; establishing themselves everywhere where nature follows suit; in other instances they collaborate closely with other nature related organizations both government, public, and private. Since the roaring twenties, the SF have nurtured a new division working alongside law enforcement and first responders for cases involved within wildlife.
Currently the Silver Feather is run by Timothy E. Skyzen; who has held the seat for five years, succeeding Jackson D. Skyzen who has held the chair for 32 years. Timothy has graduated with a law degree from Yale University, working for the Silver feather as an operative for a little over 12 years prior to obtaining the title of chair.
With 12 years on the field, and five years as chair; accompanied with a law degree; will this be enough to fight off the heat from #LyingThroughTheirTeeth ? Or will this company drown by the outcries, lose funding, and be forced to close like many others?

The Silver Feather would later be converted to Park/Forest rangers, after the days of Militia's were long gone. Initially the Silver Feather expanded through collaboration with other groups, creating the Sister company lineage which would proceed at a global level. Later the Silver Feather would create their independent branches while still collaborating with sister companies. The Silver Feather has also acquired sister companies over the years; embedding these into their assets.
The public understands the Silver Feather as a once militia, now park/forest rangers; but by reading this you have been hired under circumstances in which you understand there is more beyond the average sap needing a rescue from scaling off the trail. The Silver Feather, originates long before 1816, originating as a secret family of hunters in south east Asia whom hunted mythical creatures that threatened human existence. Whether it was game, or for riches; that much is still to be debated given the disappearance of the Willards.
The Silver Feather was founded by Robert Skyzen and Sarah Willard shortly after they wed in 1816. Since then the Silver Feather has remained a family business , expanding with the mission it was founded on; hope This mission has and continues to strive the Silver Feather on a global scale to keep balance between all living inhabitants.

inky mintedstar/fur I went ahead and made the role-play thread here. I’ll be linking our planning page here shortly. I will also be changing the title potentially .. for now I really need a reason to think about the title. Also, Mint If you get the time, to maybe tweak some info about Six Stars. I went ahead and made the info page into two sections. One part is the ‘public’ following the gimmick of news media articles. The second part is more classified and private - considered insider information. Inky, if you get the chance to fill in Selene and your other character Eden; go ahead and throw them into the planning lore page. There either Mint and I can update them up on this character page here. Assuming we’re ready to start role-playing The setting should be a dinner or cafe. Our characters are meeting up to begin addressing the newspapers article as the first post. So um yea let’s get those starters going. I threw some tips in the planning page. Respond there or proceed with an intro starter here.

inky Only a week had passed since the incident-and yet it felt like ages since the charity literally caved in. The online pushback was expected, the death of someone really appreciated was a loss, but what happened next was entirely unexpected. The amount of pushback from social media was double-maybe even quadruple the expectations. This was also accommodating the trend #LyingThroughTheirTeeth, and gaining momentum-because this movement had already succeeded in throwing out other big prominent organizations. Knowing this, The Silver Feather reached out to Six Stars to address this situation over lunch, given they were now in this together. Rowlin walked down the street, keeping a careful pace with his company Selene. His bright green eyes attentively gazing into her blue gaze, paying absolute direction to her presence as the two conversed. His dark red hair brushed into three categories shined random bright red highlights in the sunlight. Along his left shoulder, was his messenger bag, which he rested his left arm against. "Selene, I just gotta thank you again for accompanying me on short notice." He lightly chuckled in appreciation. "Timothy was supposed to meet with the rep from Six Stars but-he's been busy round the clock with his own kid-Bryan's recent injury " He tilted his head off to the side, letting out an annoyed shrug. "A-Anyways-the kid will be fine. Just got off the phone with Tim this morning. But seriously that kid wasn't gonna handle a demon on his own, that's what his team is for." He shook his head now, before returning his attention back to Selene. "But seriously thanks for coming. Like, I know you were supposed to meet with the-" He cut himself off briefly, his eyes glancing up as he didn't want to finish the sentence. "-The painter to finalize the colors..." His voice slowed, as he took a brief pause, "F-For the, house's interior." His voice had gone soft, almost as if not wanting to reach the end of the sentence and yet he did. "I-I....yea..." Last time I checked, he quit... A voice softly could be herd between Selene and Rowlin. It was faint-but still herd.

This whole thing was one big mess, what the hell were they going to do now that everything and everyone was being pulled into this whole fiasco. Honestly Selene would have prefereed to stay out of it but Rowlin needed her help and she wasn't going to turn him down.
The tall thin woman walked beside the man as he thanked her for coming to join him. Good, she'd had a big day lined up, there was plenty to do with the Coven right now she had to make sure they stayed out of the light as much as possible. Though that didn't seem like it was going to be the case all things considered. So it was just damage control at this point, making sure her people stayed in line and didn't say anything asinine.
"There is no need to thank me. I put my second in charge while I'm away so there should be nothing to worry about. Lets just hope this doesn't take all day." The woman said the pale icy gaze rested on him for a moment before it returned to the path they walked. "I don't know why he thought he'd be able to handle it himself, even we need help now and then. He is new and full of wild energy, he needs to calm it down before he gets everyone in ever more trouble." The dark haired woman said with a soft sigh.
Hearing him mention the painter obvious annoyance flashed across her face, that was the other thing she had to do today. But thanks to a certain someone the poor thing had run so fast out of the house that she didn't even have time to blink. She'd never seen a human move to fast before. "I wonder why he quit." She frowned, the anger setting it. "That guy took forever to find and I put a decent amount of money into his evaluations and now they've gone completely down the drain. I'm surprised he was even able to run out of there with how weak his legs went! Like what the hell is so wrong with the color yellow?!" Selene snapped toward the end. "I think it would look great in the kitchen! Bring some life into the house!" It was clear she wasn't over the whole thing in the least. She huffed, her pace quickening as she got more and more upset, the loud click of her heels against the sidewalk was very clear now.

Of course Rowlin felt terrible for pulling Selene into this entire episode. Though on paper the company was much hers as it was his-due to a recent engagement (took you forever dork), and his recent re-aquirement of the Coven, (but we’re not gonna acknowledge that); the two had decided it be best to keep working in each other’s affairs from the shadows. The last thing the Coven wanted, was for their Lovely Lord to be engaged with some lowly vampire scum, whom she supposedly turned out of pity for a supposed death. On the other hand, the Silver Feather wasn’t against the supposed secretary engaging to a vampire; in fact this was normal- and just another day in the romance after dark. On the other hand, this secretary was engaged to a high ranking vampire with power, which pleased Timothy the current chair of the family, both because it would once again strengthen connections further and because Timothy thought it was time for his great(xNumber) uncle to stop arriving to family dinners alone. [Even though he has Jake as a best friend] Despite the two deciding to public ally keep both families out of tangled affairs, they at least worked together from the sideline, and in this case he really needed her company. It wasn’t that he couldn’t handle the trashfire, it’s because he probably could handle the trashfire in some untimely out of fashion manor with a specific somebody who’s only out for pain and misery. The coven was obviously having its own problems, but what would a world without problems look like? Probably boring. Thankfully the coven wasn’t directly dragged into this, but if they really wanted to, they could use this opportunity to really throw dirt on the Silver Feather in opposition to their current engagement. If anyone from the coven stepped out of line, it would be more personal then economical-of course it would, Selene was the most beautiful women around, always standing tall and her dark hair just swaying in the wind. She was someone sought over by many other high ranking vampires in her coven and alliances, and the sap secretary got her of all people. Well-sorta... Nonetheless, the Coven’s problems were least of an issue then this possibility of the Silver Feather getting canceled. The Coven’s issues were just normal issues-making sure the dead and the living could coexist. Retrieve rouges , retrieve information, retrieve tratiors, capture bounties for other organizations, capture and fascinate the normality for new vampires-the list could go on, but the coven’s problems were more normal at this moment in time. Could the Silver Feather survive being canceled? Sure, it could focus heavily on the second side of its engagement. Would Silver Feather loose sponsors? Sure at Face Value, and maybe it would be bad for a bit, but that’s what the rain check is for, right? N-No, I am not looking to alternatives! Not letting these irrational children get away with it“Ah, right..” He softly nodded at the mention of her right hand. That was a very good assistant, they could handle it. His green gaze glimpsed at her admiring her assurance, she was clearly concerned but kept well to hide it. Wish I could keep myself so composed as you.. He admired. “There shouldn’t be too much to worry. Besides, your right hand can handle it if it’s longer. Sure a little upset like last time , or the time we were literally ambushed by Area 51… or before that…” He stopped himself realizing he skipped.a lot of times where her second hand took over for longer then a day-there was too many to count. It was almost like Selene and Rowlin were sneaking out for getaways-if only it were that, and not everything else that has actually happened. “Besides-if your second hand needs help, I’ll send Jake. I hear vampires like their heads. That sharpshooter of the west never misses.” He assured Selene with an optimistic gaze. “They can work together! They’ll keep things in order.” He nodded, with pride just mentioning his best friend and partner in crime for just about everything. “Tim’s son, Bryan yea..” Rowlin shrugged at the thought. “He’s young and still new to it. I mean-when you are young you feel like the world is in your fingertips. You feel unstoppable. Of course that kid had training from his folks, and training as a hunter but-still to try and take down a demon without his team. Very reckless…” He shook his head some more at the thought. “And it could of cost him his life. His father Tim Is very infuriated, especially during this time when Tim is needed to handle all of this.” He rested a hand against his head, his fingers brushing through his dark red hair. “At this rate, will I grow grey hair? Can I?” He paused, blinking at his own comment. It was one that had just come out in the stress of the moment, a comment he often herd coworkers and other humans use over time. Of course his hair wouldn’t but-that wasn’t the issue. The issue was that gray was very similar to Silver-and that might have just indirectly tapped close to a certain someone they were both angry at. He recalled the painter who was supposed to come in today to finalize the colors that would be used through the house. It was decided that certain rooms would be yellow, and others wouldn’t but between Selene and Rowlin, they couldn’t decide on the actual shade of Yellow; so the professional had called prior that he had taken all their suggestions and created solutions that claimed to be their solution. Of course the two were excited, they were moving in together-and sure there was other houses that they owned-so they wanted to make these homes more personalized for each other’s presence. On the other hand, when deciding where to move, it was decided they move closer to where Selene could directly intervene for the Coven-given that here followers were more stubborn then donkeys on the road-well traditional if it’s politer. Thankfully for Row, it was easier for him to move, he could work remotely and intervene directly if needed-after all, that’s what Timothy’s job was for, his job as the family heads before him, were to live a lavish life and run the company. So, with all decisions decided, he relocated out to where Selene was, and they chose a place together, after deciding which place of course. “I-I-I can probably find professional painter from the Silver Feather.” He lightly replied to her, trying to keep things on the bright side. He felt bad that the guy suddenly quit-sure, and that money was tossed down the drain, but they could always find another person right? She was fuming- “A-Ah, don’t worry… I’m certain we’ll get the rooms yellow real soon!” He assured her. “I mean-hell I can paint, but we just need those color pallets..” His voice softened. Right, we don’t have the Pallets, he ran He looked down letting out a huff, “Damn.. he left with the pallets… which yellow …. There’s so many yellows we came up with.” His voice had slightly started to rise. “No, there’s nothing wrong with yellow! In fact, I like it too, but I still feel like there are certain pallets better then others to illuminate the room more!” He too was getting irritated by the fact that they had initially gone back after trying so hard to find someone. “Damnit, he ran.. like when you told me that after I came back from errands, I couldn’t ‘t believe it. I mean-maybe I would because I’d hear his well-heartbeat but like STILL!” He shook his head roughly in frustration. He took in a deep breath, shrugging his shoulders back tightly, “Besides Yellow is the last color we’d want anyways-“ The words that left Rowlin’s mouth were sharper then earlier , more snarky and somewhat pleased with this-but it was brief and gone as a whistle as the redhead quickly covered his mouth tightly, and his green eyes were tormented by the fact that he had just unconsciously said that, and that he said that to Selene. With his free hand, he reached into his messenger bag, and had slightly taken a few steps away from Selene. As quick as he could, he pulled out a glasses case, which upon opening it had his reading glasses, but also tucked within was a ring with a bright green gleam coming out of it; the ring was made of gold, and blended with silver, carefully crafted with the initials SxR; it was a ring very identical to the one he had given to Selene upon engagement, with the exception of her gem being dark blue to match her icy gaze. He quietly removed his hand away from his mouth, tightly keeping it shut in case he said anything he would regret-with that hand he grabbed the ring, then put the glasses case away. Still quiet and afraid he would say anything he would still regret he put the ring on. In that instance his eyes briefly flashed violet before returning to their natural bright green gaze. Now he still put his hands in the air, slowly still concerned. “I-I’m so…sorry…” He apologized. Sorry I didn’t run that sap out sooner.. An annoyed voice rang in Rowlin’s head. “I-I think, I know what happened…” He took in a breath, both upset, concerned and angry; the painter was gone, they couldn’t decide on which shades of yellow, and he probably just set off the girl he liked. ((LMAO I got carried away with this.)) inky

Of course, having Jake help her second in command (who I'll come up with a name for later XD) would be perfect actually. And it wouldn't be the first time she'd asked Jake to help out with things. He'd proven to be of use. She'd grown fond of him as the years had gone on.
He just had to mention the paint, didn't he. She was really supposed to be keeping a cool head going into this, that was why he'd brought her along after all. It took a lot to make her get angry at someone or something but for some reason, this whole paint thing just set her off. Her arms folded across her chest as she got more and more upset, that poor painter had done so much work getting the color to be just right especially since Selene had been so picky about it. It couldn't just be any yellow it had to be the right yellow. Any other yellow would have looked awful. Well, at least he seemed as upset about it as she was. They'd figure it out.
Then she heard it. The last color we'd want anyway? The tall dark-haired woman stopped dead in her tracks and turned to look at him. The icy gaze that set on him was furious. They had spent at least two weeks talking about what color they even wanted to start looking at, of course, Selene had her heart set on the bright happy color yellow, at least for the kitchen and the hallway. That wasn't too much to ask for was it? She didn't think so, "What do you mean the last color?! We talked about this forever and a day. You fully agreed the color would be nice, in some places. It isn't like I'm wanting the whole house yellow. I happen to like yellow thank you very much." She snapped, now she was mad. It really had been quite a feet to get them to settle on a color, they were both pretty different people really, but they managed to balance each other out very well and things like compromise were their best friend.
"I just don't even understand how it could be the last color when you agreed to it." Selene basically scolded him, "Why agree if you don't like it." Selene fell silent as she saw his eyes flash an all too familiar color. Letting out a soft sigh she brought her hand to her temples for a moment. "It's okay. I'm sorry I raised my voice. It is just paint." The woman took a deep breath looking at him the gaze that had quickly grown harsh softened just as quickly as he regained her composure, leveling out her anger. "We will figure it out." The vampire woman offered a warm smile to the man she loved. Honestly he was one of the few people that made her, for lack of a better word, a mess. She wouldn't have had it any other way and paint wasn't going to be this huge fight for them. That would be stupid right? Maybe just a little. Selene wasn't changing her mind about the yellow that was for sure. She liked it. And he knew very well how stubborn she was and cared for her anyway so she was sure he knew she would stand by the choice of yellow.

Staring at the menu, Percival was paying more attention to the texture of the page than he was to anything on the actual printed card. An index finger was lazily rubbing up and down on the page. It was slightly ridged, but otherwise wasn't anything special. The print on the side facing Percival was Courier New and that was about all he was taking in. "Anything interesting?" Marcus asked. Percival's eyes focused and he looked over the top of the page. Then he let the words reach him, reading over several of the things written on the page so that some things could actually reach his brain. "Does three types of sandwiches that look completely identical count?" he questioned. He went back to rubbing at the back of the paper. He knew that Clarinet and Armando were somewhere else in the little restaurant that they were sitting in, but he wasn't satisfied. Too many things had gone wrong recently. At least there seemed to be a bit of a rest. He just didn't believe it would last. "What do you want?" he asked after a second. "How about all three of those sandwiches?" Marcus asked with amusement. He managed to angle his head in a way that it seemed like he was looking over the top of the paper that Percival was reading. Percival sighed, shaking his head, and gave up looking at the menu. He set it aside and crossed his arms on the table. "Sure thing." Somehow, Marcus had worked a smile out of him. He glanced around the room once, checking to see where anyone nearby was, but thus far there wasn't anyone. He'd wait. He could see the back of Clarinet's head from here. She and Armando already seemed to have ordered. He glanced at Marcus again, who just gave him a reassuring smile. Percival didn't feel like it really reached his eyes though.

The world seemed to suddenly have boosted to overdrive, it was like they were literally whisked off their feet-and being dragged at a high speed and unable to stop. The paint was a big priority on their agenda, of course it was-it was a time consuming priority. He didn’t need to ask if she was triggered, he could see it-beyond that he could tell, and that was bad-she was the last person who would loose her temper. Not even her followers have seen her angry, and yet here they were, her anger over the paint. Rowlin took one more step back, his green heightened eyes both afraid of the wrath to come, and how he would unwillingly respond; it was a disaster in the making. He didn’t mean to mention that yellow was the last color-it wasn’t ever on his mind. It was just an uncontrolled thought, one that clearly wasn’t his-and yet this was his problem. He gripped the strap around his messenger bag tightly as a means to distract his hands, before he found himself regretting what could happen next. “-I-I didn’t…” He tried to reply, “I-I- didn’t-“ He tried again, but she was already going off. Of course she was triggered, this color was a favorite of hers, and it took a bit of shades to convince him entirely. Was he against it? No, but he wanted a shade that would bring life to the room, and not stick out at the same time. “I-I- under-understand” He kept trying but hearing her go off, he had to hold himself, he didn’t want to upset her further. At the same time, he could faintly hear laughter-it was pleasure to someone’s ears. “A-A-Again! I-“ He turned his head to the side once again, not wanting to meet her gaze. It was after Rowlin put on his engagement ring, and restriction-that he could see the sun once again, by that, Selene calming down. She caught on quickly-and it somewhat stopped the faint laughter he herd in the distance.”I-I’m sorry..” He softly replied now, still gripping the messenger bag. “I-I really liked the final shades that he had suggested. I was looking forward to it.” He slightly glimpsed down. “We’ll certainly get the rooms we agreed upon colors.” He assured her softly, now meeting her gaze now. “And-I‘ll try not to lax with that monster….” He glimpsed off to the side, “I been in a better position as of late, in a place where I can keep myself in check-both consciously and unconsciously but… I sometimes forget that at the end of the day, I-I…” He briefly paused his voice low, as he took in a deep breath, his gaze slowly returning to Selene. “-I’ve become the monster.…” He slowly clasped his shoulders inward , as if tightening inwards. He was silent now, this was one topic he disliked addressing-for a lot of reasons, but the two have after many ups and downs-come to terms with their intermingled past, the lies and the manipulation to this point in time, and yet that’s exactly what hurt him the most; knowing it happened, every bit of it. Now he remained silent for a bit more, trying to push the idea away. It was terrible of him to bring it up, they were on their way to a local café to address a business crisis, and yet here they were on their way; with their own personal issues, mostly his, well theirs. He took in another deep breath closing his eyes briefly to clear his head. After a deep breath, he smiled softly with his eyes gleaming. “I promise, that we’ll get the yellow in the house, and I won’t let it, referring to Serken, get in the way of our plans.” He assured her now, leaning forward with his hands tightly gripping the strap from his messenger bag. “We’ll talk more about all of this later, for sure. Though for now, at this rate-we’ll be late..” He added with a small chuckle, as he slightly turned with the intent to keep walking. inky

(Sorry ya'll inspo for Selene was a little low for some reason! but here we go I'm back XD)
Hearing him say he was a monster broke her heart. She knew he wasn't and never was. She loved him after all and that was because he was who he was. Reaching out to him she put her hand on his shoulder seeing him withdraw from her for a moment. "You aren't a monster. Everyone has their demons, no one is perfect. But I love you imperfections and all right?" She said offering a small smile.
As he mentioned getting yellow in the house without fail she grinned very obviously happy with that promise the dark-haired woman laughed. "I'll hold you to that you know." She said as she started to walk again. "We've got a meeting to get to. Lets hope we can make it on time." She said, long legs not waiting for him. Of course, she knew he'd keep up without a probably the two were matched in height the only reason she was taller right now was because of her shoes.
It didn't take too long for them to get to the agreed-upon meeting spot, cute place, busy but not too busy. It was perfect, she should have guessed as much, they'd be able to talk in private without many eavesdroppers but it was also busy enough that they didn't look out of place. She'd also chosen to wear something less, hey I'm the leader of a vampire coven and I'll throw you across the room than normal. Rather then a body-hugging black full-body one-piece she wore a black dress that had long sheer sleeves that poofed and went to her wrists and had slits in them. The skirt of her dress stopped about mid-thigh and that part hugged her figure nicely but wasn't flashy and screamed that she didn't belong there. Though the eyes might give it away but there were people with oddly blue eyes all over the world, right?
The woman had no idea who they were meeting with, she'd just been tagging along after all since his other partner had fallen through. So her eyes moved to Rowlin, "Lead the way hon."

Rowlin's gaze illuminated as he was unsure where this conversation would go. He had just withdrawn himself from her, as a means to push towards their priority but also with emotional uncertainty. Yet her hand reached out, and her voice called out to him-it was enough to briefly catch him off guard; specifically given how fast she responded. His gaze melted further just listening to her, he did not move, instead he invited her to pull in closer. His expression nearly illuminated, "A-A-Ah... t-thanks.." He softly replied with uncertainty, but he was very happy with her. He was very happy with her presence, and the yellow house topic was one that would for sure happen. On the other hand it was when she started zooming off that he nearly flinched out of it. "A-Ah wait-" He blinked, taking a step forward, his hand reaching after her. She was still going, her dark long hair flowing in the air; her dress flowing in a living articulation. He retracted his hand, then took a series of steps, to follow after her-soon speeding up to keep up with her. He had caught up with her by now, and he straighten his posture. They had reached the cafe by now, and boy was it bustling with life. His green eyes skimmed left and right, to all the movement between the diners, the employees, bystanders and people walking by; their voices spewed in all directions all simultaneously, on top of that on a deliquete frequency he could hear many heartbeats. Despite all the chaos, he immediately focused his attention solely on Selene, blocking out all the nearby movement and sounds. He shifted his left shoulder slightly back to press back his messenger bag. Next he glimpsed at himself; debating on straitening his attire, which consisted of black dress pants, and a navy buttoned mid long sleeve, once more before arriving; yet he decided against it given how well presented he still was. "R-Right." He nodded watching her retreat from the lead once they made their way into the cafe. It was during this time that he took a moment to observe their surroundings. The table meeting was set towards a corner along the south west of the establishment, which after self calibrating. He paused, taking a look back at Selene with a beaming smile, reaching out for her hand, "Shall we?" He asked, intent on the thought. Afterwards he paced in that direction, leading her though the resturant. Next he recalled the mention of an umbrella, which Tim never specified the color, but given the sunny wether and the lack of rain, it took a minute before he spotted a rather large out of scene umbrella leaning against a table. He turned his head briefly to Selene to signal the direction they were headed in. Next he carefully made his way through the lively tables, before slowing down to the table with the umbrella leaning against the table. He hadn't paid much attention as to who or what was seated, and given not much else-the outcome was a hit or miss. Then again, umbrellas were the last thing to be expected on this day, so this really heightened the chances. Slowing down as they approached the table, he subtly glimpsed at Selene before slowing before the edge of the table. His gaze illuminated in joy, and his dark red hair gleaned various shades; as it was struck by the sun via a nearby window. "You seem to be a tad early for the rainy season. On the other hand, it protects nicely from the sun." inky

Auransky inky"Maybe I'm waiting for rain," Percival said. He leaned back in his seat just a fraction, looking over the man who had approached and the woman. He gestured at the free seats. "This place is busy. Need a chair." There was a sharpness to his eyes and he was well aware that even though the building was full of a lot of people there weren't so many that he needed to offer this man a seat. Percival was wearing a plain, easily conspicuous long sleeved shirt and jeans, but he didn't seem particularly comfortable in them. The man sitting directly next to him - shorter, African American, with what seemed to be a permanent easy smile - looked far more comfortable with the location. Enough so that he was leaning into the corner, looking off into the distance, and only focusing on Rowlin long enough to raise a hand in greeting. Then he seemed to go back to thinking about something else. "I'm Percival," said Percival lightly. As if he honestly wanted to be introduced on a first name basis right off. But it was at least something he didn't see as avoidable. For the most part, they were supposed to be working together. Whatever that meant. The fine details hadn't exactly been worked out, had they? At least no one else should have logically been asking about an umbrella. "Is there anything that I need to know before we get too deep into any sort of discussion?" Percival asked.
