aww thanks bud c: )
Bonnie paused, blinking at him in confusion. She was expecting him to just shrugged it off, but he challenged it. "Err, about your mother." She rolled off her side, sitting up in a loaf position (idk how to explain it xD). "I hope your siblings found homes... I'm surprised no one ever picked you guys up."

Enzo blinks blankly at her at her being sorry for his mother who easily has probably passed away by now. If he was being honest he didn't remember much of his kithood. Maybe because it was nothing but a sadness factory? He didn't get along with his siblings at all. They all had been bigger than him. He obviously being the runt. He did recall himself getting more attention and milk from his mother. Maybe that's why they hated him. But that was all in the past. His ears twitch as he speaks, ❝Some old female human found my mother and us living underneath her house.❞ he turns his head to look out at the forest that was hidden by the tall pointy wall. ❝And she eventually put me and my siblings in this box and wrote something on the front. Day after day I watched my siblings leave. Eventually I was the only one left. But I ended up leaving on my own.❞
He pauses and sighs heavily. ❝People stopped coming by so I knew my chance at a home was long gone and my mother ended up getting adopted by the old lady...❞ Enzo lays back down, his head resting on his paws. ❝Eventually I got picked up by those men in white coats...❞

[ I decided to make Enzo be the only one who looks like his mama and the rest of his siblings (2 brothers and 4 sisters) be like daddy who is a ginger tom. ]

thats interesting cuz the last cat he killed was a ginger tom o: maybe they could run into one of the siblings in the future? )
Bonnie listened intently, her eyes filled with empathy. But the people who ended up adopting Enzo surprised her. This whole time, she that maybe the men in white coats were just figments in his imagination, or a nightmare that he had manifested. Did they actually exist? The tabby sat there silently. If they did, perhaps he was tortured by them, turning him into the tom he was today. That way, he wasn't born a killer, and he sill had a chance for redemption. "I don't know why anyone wouldn't adopt you, your markings are beautiful."

[ Enzo and his siblings never met their dad /shrugs/
ooh great idea! ]

Enzo had stared at the forest for awhile before his ears prick up at the mollies words. Tortoiseshell and black cats were the same. Always labeled as bad luck. Tortoiseshells get a bad rep because they have black fur mixed in with the other colors that make up their fur. His head whips over to Bonnie only to frown and look away, his ears growing warm. He grumbles inaudibly a 'thank you'.
❝So what about your kithood? I'm assuming it's just like any other normal cat?❞

Bonnie took a few moments to reminisce on her kithood. "I guess... it wasn not hard." She was not going to deny it, she had been dealt far better cards. "I was the only one that survived in the litter, the others were still born." She meowed, her voice sounding distant. "It affected my mother a lot, but she always hid it for my sake. It was a nice kithood, but lonely. Then one day, my human came and picked me up. But my mom told me that would happen, so I was prepared. Since then, I've been here."

Enzo's ears twitch occasionally as Bonnie talks about her childhood. It wasn't like his at all. But he figured it wouldn't be. Not every cat lives the same life. Some are fortunate to live in homes while some, like Enzo, end up growing up on the streets never knowing human affection. As Bonnie finishes speaking Enzo stays quiet for a moment before deciding to response. ❝Well, for what it's worth, even though you didn't grow up like me, you still turned out much better than I think I ever would.❞
[ bleh response, sorry ]

No youre good ^^ )
Bonnie's head tilted slightly, pondering his words. Would that be true? Perhaps if Bonnie hadn't been surrounded by warm huans her life, she wouldn't have seen the world with rose tinted glasses. Enzo looked like someone that have been hurt his whole ife, and so he didn't know any better. She saw it in glimpses, like when he blew up at her, or when he would hesitantly lean into Daphne. But did that mean he could change? "I don't think that's true. We're products of our environment... maybe you would have been the sweetest tom," she suggested with a slightly lighthearted tone. Her lips twitched in a slight smile.

Enzo stayed quiet as Bonnie spoke. Products of our own environment, huh? The tom knew his environments for the past three years he's been alive have not been the best for a young cat. Finding food was hard along with shelter from horrid weather and finding a warm place to sleep at night was even harder. But somehow how through all the pain he endured he survived it all. Yet it did leave him in a bad mental state but he honestly blames that mostly on the men in white coats. He really hated humans but he was warming up to Bonnie's humans. They were nice. His yellow-green gaze drifts up and down Bonnie's figure. She easily looked healthy and happy. And if Enzo was being honest with himself that's really all he wanted. To be happy and healthy. Especially mentally healthy. He ends up sighing. ❝Maybe...❞

Hi ^^ I apologize for me disappearance, hope youre doing good )
Bonnie's gaze remained on the mottled tom. She sighed softly, realizing her joke didn't stick. She lay down, chin resting on her forepaws. Her eyelids shut as she began to get tangled with the thoughts that arose. But just like the fall breeze around them did not seem to slow, she couldn't get her mind to either. Enzo remained at the forefront of thoughts; it wasn''t abnormal since she had met him, but the context changed. Before the dog attack, Enzo's jeering laugh had were all she heard. She avoid looking at the garden for fear of seeing his haunting eyes. The she cat also felt shameful for the actions she had committed under his grip. But after he saved her, things got complicated. In a matter of seconds, Enzo became someone with multiple dimension. Since then, her emotions were in a constant game of tug and war. Was he worthy of redemption? Was it possible to come back from that state? Enzo wasn't born wired this way, so maybe. "I'm sorry," she just barely murmured aloud, to nothing in particular. She didn't know why she thought that; it just felt like the right feeing.

[ hello ! (: it's alright lol ]

Enzo ends up laying down on his side with a heavy sigh. How long was he staying here? He didn't even know how long he had left before he was kicked back out on the street. He honestly liked living in a house. On a comfy bed and felt happy knowing he had food given to him every day. Not having to go hungry for months. As well as now being given medication for his surgery he felt better. Especially in his mind. The young tomcat of course wasn't fully cured of his mental state but he was slowly starting to see the errors of his ways. How he had forced this other young cat, Bonnie, to carry out wicked deeds. He did feel somewhat bad about it but really couldn't understand why. He ends up turning his head to look at Bonnie a sorrowful yet angered look on his face. ❝What do you have to be sorry about? You didn't turn me into a monster.❞ He spat.
