rainstar accompanied by: nightwing [🇭🇴🇺🇳🇩🇹🇴🇴🇹🇭 ] Rainstar entered the camp with her jaws full. She had caught a blackbird and vole, but carrying the prey was proving quite the task. She had had to carry the blackbird in her mouth and gently squish the vole between her chin and chest. Once she had passed the entrance, she rushed to the pile. The calico plopped her catches to the others. Lifting her head, she scanned the camp in search of a certain cat. When she saw Cinderfall talking to Cougartalon, the queen nodded and headed to the warriors den. Outside the entrance, she called for Nightwing, a new addition to the ranks of ThunderClan. She had amused her friend to allow the once-kittypet to join, as they needed warriors. In truth, Rainstar wanted to test him. She wasn't sure how well he was getting accustomed to the Clan and their ways but for the next few days, she would see how he acted. coding by officialrainleafwcf

thunderclan n i g h t w i n g camp Nightwing had been scanning the camp, studying what the others were doing, getting an idea of how the clan functioned but could only gather that members leave and return, sometimes with animals carried in their jaws. It seemed that he needed to interact more to get a better feel but the thought of it tightened up. He was too nervous to even consider it, worried he would say the wrong thing or mess something up and have them hate him. But upon hearing his new name called out, a much more dignified name than what his owners gave, his thoughts immediately turned toward the upcoming interaction. "Oh no. Who is it? What do they want? What do I say?" he thought as he turned to whoever called and recognized Rainstar. His mind started to stop racing as fast, after all, she was a friend of Cinderfall and had been kind enough to allow him to join.
"Oh, hey Rainstar." he said, sitting up straighter and giving her a smile. "What can I do for you?"
He was curious as to what she wanted him for. Maybe she was checking up on him. Or maybe she had something for him to do instead of him just standing around. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

camp --> the sandy hollow ; with fawnpaw ;
The sand was warm under Teaflower’s paws. This was expected. The ginger she-cat padded over into the shade, mirroring the motion of her apprentice. She sat across from her, listening to Fawnpaw rattle of her memories of the last lesson. Precious thing. She was still so small. So young. Dreaming of battle. No one had dared to tell her the truth of battle, yet. The fiendish yowls of war, broken bodies; friends washed away by blood. Teaflower was training her apprentice not only to win, but to stay alive. To protect the parts of herself most vulnerable; to curl in around her life and hold it safe. Teaflower had never lost an apprentice. But she had lost friends.
Teaflower’s gaze lingered, as long as the shadows that sheltered them from the sun. Fawnpaw had been paying attention last lesson. Moss soaking up information like water.
“Good”, the she-cat meowed, pacing forward in order to flatten down a patch of sand in the shade, below a sturdy over-hanging bough. Teaflower was not stupid. She – she could taste the tension between Squirrelstar and Rainstar during the last gathering. Teaflower prayed for peace. She sat out late at night, basking under the glow of Silver Pelt, begging her ancestors to strike love into the hearts of her clanmates, and those in SkyClan. For them to realize they must come together to fight against a common enemy: the weather, the world they have been put into. But. But.
Teaflower motioned her apprentice forward, into the circle, directly under the branch.
“Today I’m going to teach you how to counter traditional SkyClan battle techniques. As you might expect, SkyClan favors aboveground fighting techniques. You always need to be looking up, not just horizontally, like you would for any other clan.” Teaflower leaped and began to scramble up the nearest tree. She hated climbing; she was not particularly good at it, given that she lacked a tail to help her balance. For this reason, she chose a low limb to jump from. "If you're expecting an ambush, though, you can use their fall to your advantage. First, I just want you to try and dodge me."
And, with that, Teaflower leaps out of the tree directly towards the back of her apprentice.

thunderclan camp ; with anyone ;
The sunlight on the sweet summer morning is dazzling. Thymesong stretches his legs as he pads through camp, pawsteps leaving gentle imprints on the still-green grass. This season had been sweet on ThunderClan. The rest of the clans were struggling with the weather, that much as obvious from the tales passed between cats after the gathering, but ThunderClan would thrive. As they always did. The ginger tom moseyed his way over to the fresh-kill pile, selecting a plump mouse from the neat stack of prey. It must have been a kill from last night, perhaps on the way back from the gathering, because it tasted fresh and succulent on his tongue. This was how Thymesong liked to spend his mornings; relaxed and baptized in the blood of his prey.
While eating, the tom let his gaze drift through camp. It was quiet, this early in the morning. Teaflower was awake, as usual, and was walking small circles outside the apprentice’s den. Perhaps she was looking for Fawnpaw again. The bob-tailed she-cat always seemed hot in pursuit of her apprentice. Never with her, always a few steps behind. Certainly they would want to be keeping a better eye on the apprentices now, though, since Squirrelstar had made what had been interpreted and reinterpreted by some as a closeted threat upon ThunderClan’s trees. As if SkyClan would cross the border to climb their trees. There was no magical difference between the trees over there and here; no wall erected where the boundary stood that said, “SkyClan trees, you have to be fragile and lame while our trees can continue to grow strong”. That was stupid. Maybe Squirrelstar was stupid, though. Branchstar certainly was, thinking she could take back all her land from ThunderClan without recompense. Hah.
Thymesong was mulling over the idea of going hunting near the SkyClan border, just to see how the trees were looking, when he was interrupted.

Ebonystone ”Hey Thymesong, how’s it going?” Ebonystone carelessly plopped himself down right beside his clanmate, fur brushing up against his as he stretched out his paws. There was probably something else that Ebonystone could be doing right now, however apparently he couldn’t join in on the conversation Stormwatcher and Murkpaw were having because it was “she-cat” talk, what were they even talking about? Cute toms, maybe? Because Ebonystone could relate to that, he knew lots of cute toms, he even liked to think that he was a cute tom, but that was beside the point here. The point was that his siblings needed some space from him and Ebonystone could not figure out why. Sighing, Ebonystone rolled over a bit until he was lying down on his back, staring up at Thymesong. “Am I annoying? Is that it? Am I annoying, Thymesong?” He asked, extended a paw out to gently prod Thymesong in the face. Maybe Stormwatcher and Murkpaw just needed a break from him. That was fine, he could just hang out with Thymesong all day instead. They could have “tom talk” and see how Stormwatcher and Murkpaw liked that.

thunderclan camp ; with anyone ebonystone ;
“Are you – what?” Thymesong is jolted out of his contemplation by the achingly repetitive voice of Ebonystone. The tom had appeared next to him, as if transported there, suddenly, by StarClan. He was laying on his back, long black fur sprawled out in a cloud around him. They made eye contact. And then there was a paw in Thymesong’s face. L-lovely. Yeah. Sure. Let’s roll with it. It’s not as if Thymesong had been doing anything important. He had been thinking, but that had never been one of Thymesong’s skills. He wasn’t particularly erudite. His thoughts were better replaced with action. With movement. With, ya know, jumping backwards to get a paw out of his face.
“You’re not… annoying”, the golden tom said, green eyes widened and staring at Ebonystone. “You’re. Uh. Why are you asking, anyways? Did someone tell you that you’re annoying? Do you want me to go beat them up?”

Cinderfall Cinderfall gave a nod of agreement. She couldn't really catch any good prey not that her coordination problems helped with that. Though she was doing better still had a problem aiming herself in the right direction. Although she wouldn't mind going out on a hunting patrol if it meant she could make herself useful. The gray tabby molly was running out of things to say. She didn't know what to really do as the awkward silence continued to stay there.
Cinderfall couldn't help but see something out of the corner of her eye. She noticed Rainstar at the Warriors den but instead of just staring at her friend she quickly turned her attention back to her companion. After all, she didn't want Rainstar to look back at her and catch the silver molly staring at her. She was wondering what to actually say to help the conversation. The molly had no idea what to say to the tom she felt like a fool but noticed the flower. "That's a pretty flower," she stated. She was hoping this would keep the conversation going.

Ebonystone
Pawing at Thymesong’s face a little longer, Ebonystone let out a dramatic sigh when the ginger tom questioned him, rolling over again as he stared up at the sky. “No one said it, but Stormwatcher and Murkpaw needed some time to talk I guess,” he explained. He loved both his sisters dearly and he knew they loved him too, even if they didn’t always show it. “Don’t worry about fighting them though, I have a better idea,” Ebonystone said as he looked back over to Thymesong, a glint in his bright yellow eyes. “What if you and I go do something?” He suggested, pawing at his face again. “Just the two of us, and if anyone tries to join, we can say ‘sorry but we need some tom time right now’ or something like that...of course that would only work if it wasn’t another tom that wanted to join us,” Ebonystone rambled, narrowing his gaze as he mulled this over. If another tom did approach them, what were they to do? Reject his company? That seemed rude, maybe they could let him tag along too and they could be a trio, that could work. Pulling himself out of his thoughts, he looked back towards Thymesong with wide, excited yellow eyes. “So what do you say? Are you in?”

Cougartalon (Cinderfall) ThunderClan Camp He purred in agreement. “It is. I wonder if the medicine cats like having them to make the den smell nicer,” he explained. “Not that the herbs that they use are bad, just to freshen up the stale air in there,” Cougartalon yawned and stretched his front claws out, taking some clumps of grass with them.

Fawnpaw The Sandy Hollow with Teaflower 𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ After having listed points of training from their last session Fawnpaw watched her mentor closely. Did she remember everything? She wanted so badly to absorb everything that Teaflower taught her, but it really was quite a lot to remember. Searching Teaflowers face for some sort of reaction after she spoke, Fawnpaw finally came to the conclusion that the warrior was satisfied with her response enough to continue past their last session and into a new one. Mentally marking their last session as a success Fawnpaw then turned her focus to the current lesson and watched as Teaflower began to pace about in a circle shuffling the sand as she went. Odd... What was she doing? Fawnpaws cream and golden head tipped sideways as she tried to figure out what on earth her mentor was doing. Thankfully Teaflower didn't leave her in suspense for too long and was quick to explain that they would be training to fight off Skyclan battle tactics. Pouncing forward excitedly into the designated circle Fawnpaw settled in the middle and firmed up her stance, not sure what Teaflower might throw at her next. 'Oooh! Fighting Skyclan, this should be interesting' she thought inwardly as she watched her mentor scramble up to a low hanging branch. "You want me to whaAAAHH!!!" The hot wind had picked up just as the warrior spoke down to her and Fawnpaw didn't quite catch what she had said. As she began to question what was said Teaflower leapt off her perch in the tree and hurtled straight down towards where Fawnpaw stood. Eyes wide the young shecat managed to scramble out of the way just in time, her haunches and tucked tail barely getting grazed by the warrior as she came to the ground. "Woah!" She exclaimed fur fluffed and back arched as she did her best to try an anticipate a possible attack to further her battle training lesson.

Stagbellow Thunderclan Camp || OPEN A sharp green gaze cut across the camps clearing and seered into the back of Badgerstripes skull. A look filled with such malice that the unsuspecting tabby toms pelt began to prickle upwards as he continued his probably meaningless conversation with Rosetuft. Stagbellow sat brooding in the shadows shoulders slightly hunched and head lowered, almost as if he were about to start stalking a piece of prey. He just couldn't get over how the senior warrior had practically chastised him publicly for crossing over into Riverclan territory to kill a simple mouse. A Thunderclan mouse at that! Rosetuft had even sided with the elder tom, and for that she would pay. Stagbellow felt betrayed by his own clanmates, a feeling he was not fond of. Wasn't he supposed to hunt and provide for the clan? Did it really matter where the prey came from? To Stagbellow, it did not. As long as he had a piece of meat to toss on the freshkill pile, he felt as if he was doing his part to contribute to clan life. Just then a simple though came to him. Simple, yet dark and demented enough to bring him out of his brooding mood and cast a small smile upon his face. I could just toss Badgerstripe onto the prey pile. That would feed the clan quite well for a day. Oh! No, not the clan. Feed him to Rosetuft. Make that ratnosed molly choke on her own friend. Satisfied with his current train of thought Stagbellow relaxed his stance and laid himself on the cool earth beneath the fronds of a curling fern. As his sadistic thoughts continued to develop the ruddy tom used his claws and began to tear open the belly of a small, practically baby, squirrel. To not appear as wretched as his thoughts the tom stopped after inflicting a satisfactory amount of damage and began to eat it. Meat so tender, made him wonder, would Badgerstripes meat be as stringy and tenuous as an old bird or still be plump enough to enjoy? Hmmm... ... . . . highprince

birchlight stagbellow // thunderclan camp Birchlight didn't feel the need to socialize in the mornings like her clanmates did. She enjoyed just sitting by herself and watching things happen. There was a point, however, where watching and waiting got boring. She sighed, figuring that she should at least make an attempt at doing something productive. It was better than watching whatever conversations were currently happening.She stood, eyeing the edge of camp - maybe she could bring back some prey quickly. Though, before she could go, something else caught her eye. The figure of Stagbellow, laying in the shade and tearing into a piece of prey. Birchlight's pelt grew hot in a way she didn't appreciate and didn't fully get, and despite her inner protests, she awkwardly approached him. "Oh, good morning, Stagbellow," she greeted, trying to act as if she hadn't seem him there and decided to come talk to him. "How's that..squirrel?" She tried not to cringe at her own speech - what in the world was wrong with her?

Stormwatcher
By now, Stormwatcher knew to be patient with Murkpaw. Her younger sister liked to think of herself as a fierce warrior, Stormwatcher knew her as the young cat that needed someone to listen to her as she went on about her woes. “I just want to prove that I’m a good warrior, no, not just good, but the best warrior, you know? Like you are and Rainstar, and Dawntangle, and even Ebonystone,” Murkpaw rambled on, flicking her tail up and down as she looked over at Stormwatcher. “I want the other apprentices to respect me, I don’t want to be made fun of, and I know that’s what they’re doing, I can feel it,” Murkpaw explained with a glare as she looked off at the den’s wall. The two of them had been using a quiet corner of the warrior’s den to talk. By now everyone else should be out and about, and Murkpaw didn’t seem to mind warriors overhear her as much as she did other apprentices. Stormwatcher wasn’t sure if the other apprentices were actually making fun of her - though she seriously doubted it - but she was willing to listen to Murkpaw talk, especially if this was what she needed right now. “Hmm, well, I’m sure the other apprentices do respect you,” Stormwatcher told her, though Murkpaw didn’t seem convinced. Sighing, Stormwatcher glanced around, spotting one of the few warriors still left in the den. “Oh! Blazeheart! Can I spare a moment of your time?” She asked, gesturing with her tail for Blazeheart to join them.

Blazeheart With Stormwatcher and Murkpaw Her flank rose and fell with every steady breath. The molly was content to sleep in. She knew she would have to wake up soon enough. Her young apprentice was probably rearing to go, Coltpwas... was enthusiastic.
Blazeheart's ear twitched hearing faint voices in the warrior's den. She was focused on trying to rest as long as she was able to.
Hearing her name, the ginger molly's head jerked up and focused in on the two sisters. She titled her head before nodding. She pushed herself to her paws and drifted closer to Murkpaw and Stormwatcher so they wouldn't disturb the other warriors.
"Whats up?" she asked, moving to sit down next to the apprentice. She briefly took note of Murkpaw's expression... it must be something having to do with the younger molly. Apprentices weren't often in the warrior den.

rainstar accompanied by: nightwing [🇭🇴🇺🇳🇩🇹🇴🇴🇹🇭 ] Rainstar looked up and down at Nightwing, studying him. She padded around the tom, making sure to investigate thoroughly. Her eyes narrowed but eased as she made it back in front of him. "Have you been out with the other warriors?" she asked calmly. To her knowledge, Nightwing was in camp a lot more than the others. As leader of ThunderClan, she couldn't allow someone to slack. His roots may give reasoning to his inability to join the others, but it wasn't an excuse. The calico knew her friend was too busy to help him learn about ThunderClan and their ways, so she would take it upon herself to unofficially mentor this cat. ThunderClan would not have bumbling fools about. Especially after the last Gathering. "Squirrelstar is extremely sour about what happened with Stagstar. I can't apologize for his recklessness to save my Clan's face. She will have to come to terms that she was bested." she thought to herself. The queen had a weird feeling. The heat wasn't letting up and there wasn't a drop of rain. The other Clans must be feeling antsy so it was her duty to make sure ThunderClan would be safe. coding by officialrainleafwcf

Sagewatcher Blaze ♡ | With Murkpaw & Blazeheart
Sagewatcher let out a small, relieved purr when Blazeheart came over. Sometimes despite having sibling approval, you needed a little extra boost from someone you weren’t actually related to. “Blazeheart, maybe you can help me, Murkpaw is worried that the other apprentices don’t respect her,” she explained, gesturing over towards Murkpaw with a flick of her long, fluffy tail. “Personally I don’t believe that, what do you think?”As she questioned her fellow clanmate, Murkpaw looked to be somewhere in between mortified that Sagewatcher had brought in someone else to deal with this, and also a little proud...or perhaps she was just trying to look that way to make a good impression. “I don’t think they don’t respect me, well I mean...I do, but I’m more worried that they make fun of me,” Murkpaw admitted, puffing out her chest to make herself seem bigger. “Which is ridiculous because I’m very scary,” she explained, head pointed proudly upwards. Sagewatcher let out a low, bemused purr. Murkpaw was about as scary as a wood mouse, however Sagewatcher wasn’t about to ruin her younger sister’s low self esteem.

Morningblaze Just outside camp//Open
Morningblaze was minding her own business and taking a stroll outside camp when a mouse literally leaped into her paws. Instinctively she swiped at it but missed it by just an inch. "That mouse is not going to escape me today" she said as she bounded after the mouse. But as she was chasing the mouse she didn't notice the thorn bush in front of her. She barreled into the bush with a yowl and winced as she backed out of it. "Oh man, I shouldn't be headstrong like that" Now I have to go and see Cottonfang" she said as she padded towards camp.

TEAFLOWER the sandy hollow ; with fawnpaw ;
Watching your leader effectively murdered is, for lack of a better descriptor, traumatic. The last battle with SkyClan saw Teaflower backed up against a tree, depetaled, fur torn out, spitting in the face of her gathering-friends. The forest was transformed by a symphony of snarls. A cacophony of caterwauls. Colorful pelts dropped from branches onto the bodies of Teaflower’s clan-mates. She watched the autumn-hued pelt of Poppystorm land on the back of Stagstar. Milkthistle cornered her against the oak that she knew Teaflower was too afraid to climb. The golden she-cat had admitted that at a gathering; laughing, comfortable, and surrounded by those she was foolish to trust. Then, Milkthistle had backed her against a tree. Another cat, Teaflower still does not know whom, had jumped down onto her, pinning her to the ground. Nipping through her ear (scars that Teaflower carried with her) until blood ran down her face and blinded her. Teaflower was still a fool. She still huddled together with SkyClan at gatherings, as she had with Lilacdawn only days before.
Fawnpaw must be prepared in ways she was not. Lest the apprentice finds herself permanently scarred, or worse, at the claws of someone she had and would likely someday again call a friend.
She thinks about this in the three seconds before she hits the ground. Teaflower tumbles, somehow gracefully, twisting herself around and skirting back to her feet.
“Good dodge!” She praises the apprentice. “While fighting with SkyClan, you have to be constantly preparing to dodge. Think of it like avoiding raindrops. You have to let your body be loose, moving like a leaf, eyes bouncing from up to around you.”
Teaflower shakes her tail-stump and sand flings off. Then, she pounces onto the tree trunk and again shimmies her way up onto that low branch.
“Now, SkyClan has two techniques, let’s call them signature moves, that add onto the drop. They’re called the “kick” and the “flip over”. Not very creative, in my opinion, but good for us because they let us know exactly what the move is. For the kick, the SkyClan cat drops out of the tree, like I just did, but adds a back-leg kick at the end to try and knock their opponent over. The flip over works in the same way, except they still land with four paws on your back, but kick at the end towards your feet to try and use their momentum to knock you over.”
Teaflower motions the apprentice back into the circle.
“The perk of these moves is that, if you can dodge successfully, the SkyClan cats need a few seconds to stabilize themselves, and a lot of younger warriors will fall over. This works to your advantage. I’m going to jump down at you now and show you a “flip over”. I want you to dodge and then, using countering techniques we learned a few lessons ago, try and pin me down.”
The she-cat bends her legs, green eyes narrowing carefully.
“Got it?”
And then she jumps, once again.

Stagbellow Camp w/ Birchlight highprince Gulping down a bite that he had just tore from the small rodent Stagbellow flicked his tail in a polite greeting. Birchlight had just approached a was quick the strike up conversation with him, something she had been doing a lot as of late. "Good morning Birchlight" he meowed casually as his green eyes focused on her form. What was it the drew this feline to him all the time? Not that he minded, it was nice to have a pretty molly gravitate towards him, but sometimes it was a bit too distracting and he would catch himself getting drawn into the moment too much and withdrawal. Looking away he continued to eat. "Oh you know, nothing better than digging into fresh kill", he responded with a nonchalant attitude trying to draw her in. He loved to play this little game. Acting like his not interested and watching her try harder to gain his attention. Something he probably gave into a bit too soon too often but it was hard to deny sweet little Birchlight. It was almost like she would play into the game, and he liked that.

Blazeheart With Sagewatcher and Murkpaw Her amber gaze flickered towards Sagewatcher, once the warrior started speaking once more. Her ears twitched. Her head titled to the side as she mulled over the words, feeling a flash of amusement. To be an apprentice again, she thought with a sparkle in her eyes. Those were more care-free days or at least, you had more time to worry about your peers.
"No," Blazeheart agreed with Sagewatcher as her gaze drifted to younger smoke molly. She flickered her tail, as Murkpaw explained her true feelings. She let out a soft huff at the molly's attempt to seem bigger in front of the two warriors. "Very scary," Blazeheart agreed with a muted chuckle, "I am sure you will be scaring away our enemies for a long time."
She mulled over the thoughts in her head about what advice the young apprentice probably would want to hear. Blazeheart couldn't exactly relate to her. She was always more confident, even as an apprentice. Nothing phased her, especially her other denmates.
"You can't dwell on those thoughts," Blazeheart started, "They will just fester and delay your potential." She brushed her tail gently against Murkpaw's shoulder, "Sometimes you just need to be brave. Not everyone is going to be supportive like your sister," the ginger molly meowed, shooting Sagewatcher an amused, fond look. Siblings tended to be overprotective at times. Her thoughts drifted for a moment, trying to remember a time if any of the other apprentices had made fun of her. She blinked for a moment. "If anyone makes fun of you... it is more likely that they are just jealous," she encouraged with a small smile. Some of their clanmates were greedy, selfish little beings.

Sagewatcher Blaze ♡ | With Blazeheart & Murkpaw
Blazeheart had been a good choice to bring over here. The other warrior was a good influence for Murkpaw, Sagewatcher could only hope that Murkpaw actually listened to what she had to say. Giving a small nod of approval to the fiery colored molly, Sagewatcher looked back towards Murkpaw. “Blazeheart is right, the more you dwell on your insecurities, the more they’ll become who you are,” she told her, reaching a paw out to gently press against Murkpaw’s chest. “You spend too much time listening to your head, trust your gut, it’s much wiser,” she told her, putting her paw back down. Murkpaw crinkled up her nose, looking down towards her paws as if in thought. Finally, the young apprentice let out of a puff of breath and a sigh. “I guess you two are right,” she started. “Thank you for the advice,” Murkpaw said, looking up to the two warriors before she got up to her feet. “I think I’m gonna go see if Dawntangle needs me now,” Murkpaw told them, bowing her head respectfully to Blazeheart before padding out of the den. Sagewatcher watched her go, flicking her tail lightly. “Thank you for talking to her, Blazeheart, she gets lost in her own world a little too often,” Stormwatcher explained with a small shake of her head.

Blazeheart With Sagewatcher Blazeheart nodded along with Sagewatcher's words. Self-confidence was a must. It might be hard to over come that part of yourself but if you were determined enough in their world, you could become the best warrior you could be.
"Remember," Blazeheart called to the apprentice, "Be brave," as Murkpaw stood to her paws and left the two mollies alone in the warrior den. It was probably easier said than done but the apprentice was young. She had plenty of moons to grow into herself.
Her amber gaze flickered away from the exit of the den and back towards Sagewatcher. "No problem," she meowed, before tilting her head, "I hoped that advice will helps her out," she mused. They couldn't force Murkpaw to do anything, she would have to make a difference on her own. "I guess only time will tell," Blazeheart reasoned with a soft chuckle.

Sagewatcher “She’ll be fine, she just needs to stop living in her head so much,” Sagewatcher explained with a small shake of her head, her long and fluffy tail gently padding up against the den floor. Family meant a lot to Sagewatcher, Ebonystone and Murkpaw were everything to her, especially now that Darkstone and Smokecry had passed. Without either of her parents, her siblings were all that she had left. Other than the clan of course. “I’m sorry for waking you up though, if you’re still tired, you should try to get some more rest before we’re needed elsewhere,” Sagewatcher suggested, looking back over to Blazeheart. Now that Murkpaw had left, Sagewatcher figured she might as well let Blazeheart return to resting as well. After all, she had sort of woken her up for this.

The calico sighed at his reaction. She slumped a little, obviously disappointed. When she discussed the matter about this strange tom, she was promised he'd be taught. He was too old to be an apprentice, but she expected him to know the basics of hunting and fighting. She looked him in the eyes, searching for any shred of motivation. "How much have you been taught about ThunderClan?" The she-cat inquired, relaxing as she began to groom her ears. The hot winds of greenleaf carried a scent of trouble and it put the leader on a slight edge. When Cinderfall asked Rainstar to look into Nightwing, she thought maybe the she-cat was more invested than what a normal warrior should be. Now she saw that her friend was merely interested in a potential warrior. Cinderfall was generally very forgiving towards a warrior's shortcomings. Nightwing would need to be properly taught but he had a good build that would benefit the Clan. Perhaps she had caught him peering into the forest too many times and thought that instead of fighting him off, the Clan could welcome him. Rainstar felt tickled at the thought. She wasn't wanting her friend to betray the Clan and merely gave in, knowing full well her reputation would take a hit, but the leader was wrong. She didn't mind that this time. Scanning one more time, the calico nodded."I will give him a proper chance. However, I will personally handle this myself. We have too many apprentices to train for us to focus on the education of one outsider." Rainstar thought, now staring at the dry, cracked ground. Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply and exhaled. Once the queen pushed out her breath, her eyes clear and awaiting an answer. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

thunderclan n i g h t w i n g thunderclan camp The tom stared into the distance as he thought over her question. It was aggrivatingly little interaction he with the clan except for the gathering they had recently. Cinderfall was too busy with her duties and Wolfstep seemed to only to interact with him when it is required. But he did manage to hear tibbits here and there while trying his best to not easedrop in other cats' conversations when he would walk around. It frustrated him though, that the only information he could gather was from seeing, but he never had the courage to ask around.
"Well, from what I can see, the clan constantly has members go out in groups, whether it is for hunting or for patrols. I take it to protect from the other clans that appeared at the gathering. There are also members who focus on the well-being and healing of the rest, medicine cats if I heard right. I also know that you have recently became the leader of the clan and that I'm a bit of a problem with my ... unique background," he said, searching his mind for more. The relaxed stature that Rainstar took helped ease the panick search for information but couldn't completely negate the feeling that he should know or recall more, but yet still escape him. His head dipped and ears flattened at the feeling. "I should know more but I haven't found anyone else I can get comfortable enough with to ask. I'm sorry," he adds, disappointed in himself.
