- - Batstar of ShadowClan [ ☾ѕησσzє☽, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁, Feathertalon, Sand] As soon as Cloudstar started mentioning all that stuff about “letting go” and keeping the past “in the past” and all that gross stuff about being a better cat, Batstar turned her out. Cloudstar was full of those sort of “love thy neighboring clan as much as your own” philosophies that were going to get them all into some weird cat cult at some point. Batstar lived by a different philosophy. However as she tuned out Cloudstar, it gave her the perfect opportunity to catch what Rainleaf had said. Amusement flickered across her gaze as she looked over to the ThunderClan deputy. “I’ve found that age rarely amounts to maturity, cats may still be kits at heart and at mind well into the age of an elder,“ she commented in a hushed tone so that just Rainleaf could hear. She had nothing against Squirrelstar, quite the contrary actually, and Batstar would be lying if she claimed she wasn’t enjoying the back and forth that Squirrelstar amd Rainleaf were having right now, but it seemed like too good of an opportunity to say nothing.

jaggedthorn of shadowclanaccompanied by Pantherclaw | four trees It was no surprise that Jaggedthorn's name could never be placed with a face. One would be better off placing it with a thorn bush, or nothing at all. She let out a soft huff when Pantherclaw mentioned the heat. As if I'd like to be reminded of our terrible weather, she thought before the tom spoke again. ThunderClan cats didn't bother her too much surprisingly. Well, at least this one didn't.
"Hiding where? In the bushes?" she joked, licking at her front paw while the senior warrior continued on. Mrrowing in amusement, she rolled her eyes before responding.
"Oh, please! Dawnstar has been leader since I was an apprentice. There's no way she hasn't croaked, whether it be natural causes or the heat. WindClan's better off without her anyways." image source - pexels | Blaze ♡

Garlicfur at the gathering, accompanied by Magpiechirp (𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ ) Garlicfur loved gatherings. She loved the idle chit-chat, and the whispered gossip—the food for thought that she chewed on, late at night. Above all else, however, she loved the new faces. They were brilliant and brief, and this one—oh, StarClan—this one was cute.
In her excitement, Garlicfur had nearly raced past their new leader. While Rainstar had been a fine deputy, she couldn't speak to her talents as a leader, just yet. Her name still felt foreign on ThunderClan's tongue, and she'd nearly forgotten it (for the second or third time) as they'd crested the slope above the hollow. She was waiting, once again, for the flick of Stagstar's tail. Then—suddenly and with an 'oh, right!'—she remembered that he was dead.
Weaving through the crowd, Garlicfur had nearly choked as the stench of fish oil and marsh grass went rushing down her throat. A fainter musk, like feathers and hare scat, nearly finished her off. As much as she loved gatherings, she would never get used to the smell of them. It was all worth it, however, to catch a glimpse of Batstar, perched atop the Great Rock. Her ears rose like a rabbit's among the heather—like Garlicfur's chest as she sighed at the sight of her.
Why couldn't I have been born into ShadowClan? she lamented.
Just as she was stirring up a daydream, however, a shape moved in the corner of her eye. She turned her head to see—ah, who was this?
'Magpiechirp.'
Nevermind, she thought hurriedly. Who likes ShadowClan, anyways? WindClan is much better. I feel closer to StarClan already.
"Ah—" there was Stagstar, again, "—thank you," she croaked. Her voice was a rasp among the chatter. It failed her as she took in the sight of the slight molly, and her eyes focused on the dark spot across her muzzle. It stared back at her like a muted eye, blinking when she spoke.
She could see where she got her name from.
Despite the grim mention of her former leader, her jaws cracked open to release a laugh. It rose above the din like a raven barking from the trees. "I'm Garlicfur, from ThunderClan," she said. "What gave it away? Do I walk like a deer, as everyone says?"

Mossynose || Shadowclan Deputy With Ravenpaw ( 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖) She nodded with a small smile. “Of course,” Mossynose meowed and titled her head, “unless you do make some friends,” she teased Ravenpaw gently. She wouldn’t push her son to do anything he want comfortable with. He deserved the right to discover things at his own pace. “The other deputies won’t mind,” Mossynose reassured him and if they did, they would be having words. As far as she knew, Rainleaf had kits of her own and probably wouldn’t care if Ravenpaw stayed attached to her hip.

- - Copperspots of RiverClan [ Feathertalon] ...Oh no, Chickenflight was talking a long time to respond, what if he didn’t like the idea? What if he didn’t want to see Copperspots that often? What if he just wanted to be gathering pals, two toms, only hanging out at a gathering, five feet apart because they were just gathering pals? What if Chickenflight didn’t even wanna be gathering friends with Copperspots? What if- Before Copperspots could get anymore worked up about it, Chickenflight spoke up and Copperspots did his best to listen, he wanted to be attentive for his friend and genuinely pay attention to him, even if he still had a couple nerve biting questions at the back of his mind. “I understand, it’s too risky,” he started, looking away. “We don’t have to do it-“ Copperspots stopped suddenly as he realized that Chickenflight was agreeing...sort of. He was concerned for Copperspots. That made sense, kind of. Except Cloudstar was a really nice leader, Copperspots doubted he would get in trouble. “Hmm, how about this, I can ask Cloudstar if she’s okay with me going this, and we can meet back up here tomorrow night and if Cloudstar is okay with it, I’ll bring her with me so she can tell you, herself,” Copperspots suggested, eyes bright as he looked over at Chickenflight to see what he thought.

- - Cherrypaw of WindClan [ iciclerain] Oh good, the bombardment of questions was finally over, Cherrypaw wasn’t sure she’d be able to answer them all if the questions had continued, she wasn’t used to this kind of social behavior. Both because Cherrypaw didn’t make a point to get to know her own clan, and because her clan was really the only interaction she got. However when Dormousetail asked her if Cherrypaw had any questions, Cherrypaw paused, after all, she did come to the gathering to learn, didn’t she? The older apprentice let out a thoughtful hum, leaning forward slightly with a glint in her eyes. “Got any gossip?” She questioned curiously.

fourtrees; with lilacdawn;
The gathering was characteristically warm. The hollow at the center of the four trees was made humid by the cluster of cats and the senseless heat, which persisted even after sundown. Though some cats may find the atmosphere sweltering, Teaflower was cozy. Unlike the dolorous fellows in ShadowClan, who begrudgingly traipsed to gatherings only after StarClan nipped at their heels, Teaflower loved being surrounded by a variety of bodies. Young cats, old cats; all coming together in fellowship and to share information. This is not to imply that Teaflower is a gossip – surely she wouldn’t not label herself as one. She simply liked hearing stories. Her heart soared with news of SkyClan kits, and her spirits rushed forth in happiness when a friend from RiverClan smiled at her. Teaflower was a social butterfly with more love to give than could be contained within one clan.
She was particularly excited for this gathering because it was Rainstar’s debut.
Teaflower loved their new leader. She loved that Rainstar was a queen, that she was proud while being gentle, and that she was a sturdy voice for mothers across the clans. Too often, Teaflower thought, she-cat leaders were presented as panthers. Serious, celibate warriors who gazed past everyone on their trek towards leadership. Ambition was stigmatized. Mothers were left behind. Rainstar was a beacon.
Speaking of beacons, there were many friendly faces in the crowd that, in Teaflower’s fervent optimism, she found to be beacons of peace between clans even in times of great tension. This was exemplified in the warm smile of Lilacdawn from ThunderClan, who approached her with a familiar fondness that Teaflower returned with a purr. “Lilacdawn! I’m so glad that you're here.”
The she-cat wound herself around her friend in welcome before sitting down beside her.
“ThunderClan is well! So much has happened in the last few moons, love, I could go on for ages. I’m not sure if you noticed, but we have a new leader”, Teaflower twitched her tail towards the tortoiseshell molly sitting atop high-rock. “Not who you expected, right? I’m so happy though, I really think Rainstar is what the five clans need right now. ThunderClan has been lucky during the drought, but this is a difficult time and I pray to StarClan for peace and health for all the clans.”

- - Murkpaw of ThunderClan [ Sand] Murkpaw let out a small meow laughter as Basscloud went on to explain his name. Basscloud was a sort of weird name, but maybe the leader at the time saw a cloud in the sky that looked like a giant fish - at least, Murkpaw assumed that a bass was a big fish since Basscloud was a big warrior - and thought “hey this reminds me of Basspaw” and that’s how he got his warrior name. Besides, it wasn’t like “Murkpaw” was any better. “At least you aren’t named after murky water, I’m guessing my parents probably took one look at my fur and thought ‘hmm, this reminds me exactly of that gross puddle of water I saw the other day’ before naming me,” Murkpaw told him in the best impression of what she assumed her parents would have sounded like that she could do. In truth, she didn’t know what her parents were thinking when they named her, she didn’t really know her parents at all, but it left for plenty of room for the imagination. Pausing for a moment, Murkpaw looked up at him. “As for your ur, if you wanted I get I could try to get some of it to stick up, then we’d match, we’d be head tuft buddies,” she suggested with a faint purr.

thunderclan n i g h t w i n g fourtrees at night Nightwing was overwhelmed by the sights and sounds that surrounded him. He thought that his time in Thunderclan was a lot for him senses but the gathering was much, much worse. So many cats of various patterns and smells, his brain couldn't fully comprehend everything that was going on. "Oh geez. What am I suppose to do? Am I suppose to interact with all of them?" he thought as he shriveled up, his tail wrap around him like a barrier. He thought his heart would pound out of his chest when he felt Wolfstep nudge him, snapping him right out of his thoughts and panic. He looked at the tom sheepishly.
"Oh, don't worry. I doubt I could say much during this." he said. He was grateful that Rainstar didn't leave him alone to fend for himself. He probably would of just hid away in a corner if left to his own devices. He then looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the she-cat that drew him away from him old home and into this wild world that he now finds himself a part of. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

sparrowtuft of windclanaccompanied by the girls (Batstar, Cloudstar, Rainstar, & Squirrelstar) | four trees, great oaks"We are missing a cat" were words that rang clearly in Sparrowtuft's ears. After having a short conversation with Poppystorm, the deputy of SkyClan, he was prepared to indulge in the moment he had spent all night waiting for-- conversing with the leaders. He mewed his goodbyes to Poppystorm before padding away and towards the Great Oaks, where four mollies sat.
Isn't Rainleaf a deputy? he wondered, tipping his head to one side. He didn't care much to figure out why a deputy was gossiping away with the other leaders, but then again, the same could be said for him... except he wasn't the gossiping type. Anyways, onward! It's show time!
The white and brown tabby tom leapt up to the trees where the leaders were gathered. "Well, if it isn't Batstar, Cloudstar, Rainleaf, and Squirrelstar!" he meowed cheerfully with a smirk. Oh, he was living for this moment, he was savoring it as much as possible. "Sorry to interrupt, but mind if I take a seat? I'm here to represent WindClan."

- - Ravenpaw of ShadowClan [ Blaze ♡] Would the other deputies really not mind if Ravenpaw tagged along? Maybe there would even be some other apprentices there, ones that, like him, had a parent that was a deputy and didn’t want to be apart from them. If Ravenpaw could find Tigerstrike, he’d cling to his father as well, however he wasn’t sure where he was, and he knew that the rest of his family weren’t currently attending the gathering. No, Crowsong was staying back home at the camp with Buzzardflutter. Luckily he had his mother though. Still trembling a little, Ravenpaw did feel a little better now, knowing he could stay with Mossynose. “If you’re sure it’s okay...” he said as he finally got up to his feet, though he stayed with his pelt pressed against hers. “Where...where do you usually sit?” He asked, glancing around as he tried not to let the large amount of cats get to him.

Boulderpaw of Windclan
Boulderpaw looks around in awe at all the cats around him. He felt small and unsure on who he should talk too. Feeling a little brave, Boulderpaw drifts away from his clanmates and starts through the different group of cats. He eyes at a few of the warriors from Shadowclan and Thunderclan and widens his eyes at the size of them. How did they get so big? Wouldn't want to meet them in a fight He thought to himself.

Rainstar heard Batstar's hushed words, listening and absorbing them as she eyed the others. She closed her eyes and nodded. "I understand." she mewed, softening her look again. She glanced at Sparrowtuft, looking quite surprised that WindClan would have a representative. Her mind filled with questions, but they would have to wait to hear his report. Rainstar scooted over. "Don't like the gathering?" said a voice. There was a hint of humor in Robinpaw's voice. Not necessarily nice humor, but at least neutral enough. "It'll be over soon. I'm sure they'll just want to discuss the drought and leave it at that." She glanced around, musing a little, then asked, "How's your clan fairing?" She knew the idea that the clans weren't supposed to say too much, but she didn't really care.

Embergaze fourtrees | accompanied by Fungistalk "Embergaze." The tom turned at the sound of his name, eyebrows raised. He was surprised to see one of his Clanmates approaching him. "What are you doing? You're not with the others," the dark-furred molly pointed out. She then flattened her ears, though her expression remained neutral.
Embergaze tilted his head thoughtfully as he sized her up. Already his overly-analytical brain was speeding into overdrive. Fungistalk, that was her name. He knew her, of course, but not well. She was a few moons older than him, and he remembered training together as apprentices, but beyond that they hadn't really spoken much outside of small talk. The black tom felt a pang of guilt. Perhaps I should spend more time getting to know my own Clanmates than padding after interesting strangers. It wasn't a bad thing to be curious about life in the other Clans, was it?
"Ah, well, I can always talk to the others when I want," he replied lightly, smiling at her. "We do live together, don't we? And it's not like we ever get a chance to stop and chat on border patrols." He flicked his tail. "I was just off to mingle, myself. Would you care to join me, Fungistalk?"

Cinderfall Cinderfall looked around the gathering to find Wolfstep and Nightwing. She figured poor Nightwing would be having a panic attack due to him being fairly new. The molly gave a huff of aggravation as she saw familiar pelts but turned out it wasn't them. Welp this is awkward it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack around here, she thought. Her amber eyes continued to scan the area for the two toms. The she-cat kept moving until she bumped into another cat her head touching them. Embarrassed she looked up to see Nightwing. Oh great, you made yourself look like a fool, she scolded herself.
"Um sorry I didn't mean to bump into you," she said avoiding eye contact. The gray tabby molly didn't know what else to say. She was nervous and weird butterflies felt like they were squirming around her belly making her feel weird. Can you stop being weird and actually talk? Cinderfall finally looked at Nightwing trying her best to not be an awkward little bird. "Are you doing okay?" she asked. She finally was able to relax let lose her tense muscles and listened to the tom. However, she couldn't help but notice Wolfstep.
Oh for the love of Starclan I even made a fool of myself in front of him, she thought her eyes widening. She wiggled her tail out of anxiety. "Oh hi Wolfstep how are you?" she asked. Please tell me you didn't notice me being a clutz, she thought.

Chickenflight » ShadowClan This wasn't something Chickenflight would typically do. He was the kind of warrior that followed the rules and listened to whatever his superiors had to tell him without question. He stayed loyal and, so long as no cat was asking him to cause harm, then he never hesitated in doing what was asked of him. This was why agreeing to something like this was quite out of the ordinary for the bi-colored tom, but he was willing to step out of his comfort zone if it meant helping the Clans. If it meant getting to spend more time with Copperspots.
Chickenflight's ears perked up in surprise. "You can just do that with Cloudstar?" He asked, his words dripping with disbelief. He knew that Cloudstar was a peaceful leader and she wasn't one to show hostility others, but was the RiverClan leader really that easygoing with things? He couldn't imagine Batstar ever agreeing to something like this. Or maybe she would, but Chickenflight assumed she would have some extra rules involved that didn't allow room for a RiverClan warrior.
With this, though, Copperspots did seem like he wouldn't get in trouble, and Chickenflight's goal was to make sure the rosette-splashed tomcat stayed out of trouble. "You have yourself a deal," he mewed, feeling a little uneasy about this, but overall, he was just glad he'd have a reason to see Copperspots beyond just gatherings.

Cloudstar » Cloudstar let out a low sigh at Squirrelstar's words. The life of a warrior didn't have to be all bloodshed and aggression. There was always an option for peace, and while many cats believed that to be the route of weakness, Cloudstar had always thought of it as the route of strength. How many cats could work up the courage to forgive and make amends with those who had done them wrong? It took a certain kind of bravery to accomplish such a feat. It took compassionate strength to sheathe bared claws and stand down, to admit defeat and walk away without the loss of any lives. Strength was more than just physical prowess, but Cloudstar knew that now was not the time to preach such ideals. Cats would believe what they wanted to believe, all Cloudstar could do was hope that one day they'd realize that violence was never the answer.
The RiverClan leader did not have long to muse on these thoughts when, finally, the representative of WindClan stepped forward to join the leaders that had already gathered. She had to admit that she was surprised to see that it was none other than Sparrowtuft of WindClan. "Welcome, Sparrowtuft. You're more than welcome to take a seat here with us tonight," Cloudstar greeted warmly and with a dip of her head. "I do hope all is well in WindClan." She made no effort in hiding her concern for the moor-dwelling felines. It was worrisome not to have Dawnstar or Teaseltail here tonight. Had the drought gotten to WindClan worse than it had RiverClan and the other Clans?
Shaking her head, Cloudstar focused back in on what was important right now. She gathered herself and motioned with her tail for the other cats to give her attention for just a moment. "As much as I hate to be the one to stop our chatting, the moon is starting to get rather high," she mewed with a nod toward the night sky. "Shall we call for the reports to begin? I'm sure all our cats are curious as to why we have two new faces here tonight."

FUNGISTALK // SHADOWCLAN Gathering // Interacting with Embergaze ( Tealraven )
The question made her trill a little bit, a mixture of a purr and a meow. Her yellow eyes, blank as her expression blinked for a moment as she watched the tom's gentle movements. The smole, his tail flicking. Fungistalk was, bluntly, indifferent to what the other clans did. However the curiousity of her clanmate and former training partner when they were younger piked hers as well.
"I suppose you're right. We are supposed to defend our borders rather make small talk."Her tone remained cold and distant, though her gaze was fixated on Embergaze. Her head titled to the left before twitching her ears."Join you? I don't see the harm in it. It is a gathering afterall." [

Fleetfoot of WindClanmorelspots & rosepaw // four trees Fleetfoot typically loved gatherings. He thought of himself as a showman, a dazzling attraction that other cats would trample each other to come talk to. He liked to tell stories and jokes and gossip endlessly, though he would never admit that it was gossip. Fleetfoot was too cool to gossip, no, this was just being informed. He was getting intel on the other clans, not making friends. He was too suave for friends, a total paradigm of coolness.
This gathering, however, he was sad. That was unusual.
He supposed it had something to do with Morelspots' brother dying. They had been so fine before, goofing off and bickering about who would win their bet. Then the body had been brought back into camp, and Morelspots had stayed with her family, and Fleetfoot hadn't tried to approach her. She wasn't in the mood for competition, and Fleetfoot didn't exactly know how to handle emotions. He'd tried thinking about how he'd feel if Cherrypaw died, but he often forgot that Cherrypaw was his sister, so he thought that the comparison wasn't exactly fair. He hadn't exactly been close to Nettlefrost, either, so he couldn't understand why he was sad. Did he, perhaps, feel bad for Morelspots? No, she was his nemesis, that was impossible. Fleetfoot doubted himself as he picked her out in the crowd and made his way over to her.
She was talking with Rosepaw, and Fleetfoot was surprised that he wasn't with the other apprentices. The prospect of showing off to the other clans had used to thrill him. Fleetfoot's own apprentice hadn't come, or else he might've told her to go hang out with Rosepaw. Instead, he approached the two of them, actually feeling nervous for the first time ever. "Hey," he greeted, smiling at Rosepaw and worrying that Morelspots might not want anything to do with him - he wasn't the most comforting presence, after all. "How are you feeling?" He asked, hesitating before sitting down beside her.
Badgerpaw of ShadowClanswiftpaw // four trees Without Jaguarpaw, Badgerpaw felt somewhat....lost. The last gathering he'd gone to had been right after he was made an apprentice, and his brother had been right beside him the whole time. Now he was just trying to figure out where to go, feeling somewhat intimidating by all the cats around him. He puffed himself up, determined not to let anyone see that he was afraid. He figured that talking to other apprentices would be a good place to start - it would be weird to talk to the warriors, after all, and sitting alone would've just made him seem like a loser.
Badgerpaw strutted around in a way that frankly looked ridiculous until he saw his target - maybe not the best way to refer to a potential friend, but that was how Badgerpaw did it. It was a silver tabby that smelled like WindClan, and he knew that he could totally be the best at being friends with her. "WindClan cat!" He barked, trotting over to her. "Tell me what your name is," he demanded, making it clearly that he was already losing at making friends.
Birchlight of ThunderClanopen // four trees Birchlight didn't like gatherings. Too many cats, too much drama, too much pretending. Don't let any other clans know that yours is struggling, don't talk about anything you're not meant to, act like everything is perfect. It left a bad taste in Birchlight's mouth, and she wasn't a fan. This gathering wasn't any different, especially considering it was Rainstar's debut. With the drought, everything felt far too tense, far too fake. She did what she usually did when she got dragged along to gatherings - sat in the back, away from most of the other cats, and hoped that it would end soon. Then, at least, she could return to camp and get some sleep. She didn't understand the appeal of making friends with the other clans, or trying to show off to them. It all felt pointless when they'd battle each other over a skinny squirrel next leafbare, anyway. It would be better for everyone if they just kept themselves separate, not matter what StarClan declared.
Jaysong of RiverClanrowancloud // four trees
Some cats liked to socialize. Some cats liked to parade their accomplishments and strut around with their tails in the air. Jaysong was not one of those cats. Staying in camp and having a good night's sleep, that's what he liked to do on a full moon. Gatherings intimidated him, but he ended up having fun sometimes. Maybe today would be one of those times. Maybe it would be good to look on the bright side of things.
He'd been milling around with other RiverClan cats when he saw a ginger tabby approaching. Oh, here's my chance, he thought, feeling distanced from the situation, I can make a friend. He tentatively approached the molly, trying to meet her in the middle. He flashed her a smile, trying to look cheerful and not at all terrified. "Hello!" He greeted, looking up at her and trying to fight off the sudden doubt that had come over him.

The gray tom had seen Cinderfall before she bumped so graciously into Nightwing. While he thought he could deal with it, the expressions, much less the atmosphere was rather nauseating. It was all over his face, so he couldn't deny his annoyance no matter what. "Better than you, apparently. You look like an apprentice searching for her mentor." he huffed, glancing at Nightwing. "Let's find a spot to sit. And remember to be quiet. I'm not dealing with any gossiping when you two can go back home and do that." Wolfstep hurried. He honestly needed to get somewhere where the little flirty birdies wouldn't make him sick in front of the other Clans. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

basscloud of riverclanaccompanied by Murkpaw | four treesFor two ill-named cats, they got along quite well. Basscloud felt that his name fit him, but, really, it was the only name he ever knew. So of course it made sense to go from Basskit, to Basspaw, and then Basscloud. Murkpaw, however... he didn't really see how her name made sense for such a kind, funny feline. Were her parents out of ideas when they named her? Perhaps.
The tom let out a mrrow of laughter when Murkpaw explained her parents' thought process. "You gotta give it to them though, they sound quite creative with their naming abilities," he responded, still laughing. "I think mine went fishing the day before I was born and named me after the fish they caught."
The dark tabby kept his copper eyes on the ThunderClan apprentice, wondering how it would work if they'd be head tuft buddies. How would she reach his head? Would he have to lay down for it to work? "I'd like that!" he purred as he eyes gleamed with excitement. "one question though. How exactly will we get my head tuft to stick up? You said I'm tall. We'll have to find a way for you to reach my height... or I can try and lower myself down to the ground." image source - tumblr | 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖

- - Copperspots of RiverClan [ Feathertalon] Copperspots nodded. “Yeah, Cloudstar would probably be okay with it, I don’t see why she wouldn’t be,” especially if he could ask her after she was finished visiting Loonfur and the two of them had all that herb stuff going on that they had in there. Copperspots wasn’t sure what they did, but he didn’t bother to ask questions either. I’m sure she’ll be okay with it, she’d probably let you hunt in RiverClan territory if you asked,” he added with a small shrug. Archwhisker thought it was a bad sign for Cloudstar to be as relaxed as she was, Copperspots considered it a blessing. “So it’s settled then, we meet back here tonight, so long as we both can slip away,” he added, looking at Chickenflight to make sure that the other tom was really okay with this, Copperspots didn’t want to push for it if Chickenflight was actually uncomfortable with it.

»𝕊𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣« She glanced to Sparrowtuft but offered the tom no more than a nod in greeting and took a step back to sit in place. "Very well, we should make our announcements now before StarClan decides we have been prattling on like elders too long." She gave a short laugh at her own joke, curling her tail neatly over her paws once more. "Cloudstar, you should begin." She offered, wanting the older leader to start off, it was only right since she had been here much longer than them. It would also give Squirrelstar some time to think over her words, how to make them sound like she wasn't admitting defeat to the heat. But how could she? SkyClan would look weak either way but she had to make her choice known, it wasn't like they wouldn't be able to survive or beat other clans without this. Right?
You are very cruel, even in the afterlife, Branchstar. You must be sitting atop your perch in StarClan, laughing at me. Had you planned on this drought happening? Is this some kind of final test before you approve of me? Well, my dear, the jokes still on you considering I'm living and you're well...dead. She was sure the former leader couldn't hear her thoughts, even then she might find them false due to the very fact Branchstar died with some honor still attached to her name.

Rosepaw turned, finding Robinpaw easily. She seemed to be enjoying herself, which was a bit of an accomplishment from his point of view. He just wanted to go exploring the tunnels, not hang around chatting with cats he didn’t know or want to know. “They better.” He muttered, scowling. Then he looked at her, suspicion bright in his eyes. “We’re doing well. One advantage of being WindClan is that we don’t rely on the water as much.” Was it true? Probably not. But he wasn’t about to make his entire Clan look weak, no matter how he felt about them.

- - Murkpaw of ThunderClan [ Sand] Naming your kit after fish you caught the night before seemed like a reasonable thing to do, especially if that fish had some sort of importance to it, like one of those “this is going to be a moment we remember forever” kind of moment, then of course it would make sense to name your kit after that fish, even if it was still a little bit of a funny sounding name. Though to be fair, to Murkpaw, almost every RiverClan cat name sounded kind of odd to her. Anyways, back to the matter at paw, finding out how to give Basscloud a matching tuft of fur on his head. “Hmm, you could lie down maybe, and I could stand up and maybe that way, we’d be around the same height,” she suggested, head tilted to the side as she tried to picture what that would look like in her head. Yes, that would work. Then she could go home and brag to all the other apprentices about how smart she was, that would show them.

Deerpath glanced over as he was nudged, and shook his head a little, smiling in spite of himself at the friendly she-cat. She seemed to be always like this, he’d noticed, always making light of the serious. He didn’t understand that, since he was the opposite and tended to make mountains out of molehills everywhere he went. Still, the drought was serious, and it didn’t do to ignore it. That and the way the Clans operated, which he thought could be better. He looked up at the leaders, who seemed to be preparing to speak. “Not much time left.” He noted. “But alright. Who did you want to poke?” He was teasing her a little, and he hoped she didn’t mind. She seemed to have good intentions. He couldn’t say the same for everyone.

Salmonwhisker of RiverClan fourtrees | accompanied by Jaegerwing & Rainhead "Rainhead!" Salmonwhisker beamed as the blue molly approached. He gave her a friendly nudge, eyes twinkling. "Good to see you, glad you could make it!" He nodded to Jaegerwing beside him, who was presently making eyes at a SkyClan molly halfway across the hollow. "You're just in time, actually. I was telling my friend here about how I rescued Timberfang from the mud, can you believe it?" He raised his voice towards the end of his sentence to emphasize the "rescued Timberfang" part, hoping to draw some attention.
Salmonwhisker was an excellent storyteller, if you asked him. A bard. He especially enjoyed it when the adventure involved him, even if he played only a minor part. Unfortunately, there were few who truly appreciated his natural gift, aside from apprentices and kits. In truth, he was quite fond of sitting outside the nursery and acting out his tales for the youngest members of the Clan. He loved the way their little eyes lit up when he described the last Sunningrocks battle he'd fought in, or even his most recent misadventure on a fishing trip. Perhaps one day he might-- no, nevermind that.
He focused his attention back on Rainhead, twitching his whiskers in a supremely self-satisfied way. "I don't suppose you've made any new friends yet, this fine eve, have you? Anyone you could perhaps introduce me to?" He glanced around eagerly.
Swiftpaw of WindClan fourtrees | accompanied by Badgerpaw Swiftpaw was so wound up she nearly jumped straight in the air when another cat accosted her. "WindClan cat!" The young voice barked. "Tell me what your name is!"
She whirled around, her blue-grey eyes fierce, and came face to face with a grey tabby she'd never seen before. He smelled of ShadowClan, all marshy and froggy and gross. But he looked like he was about her age, so maybe this was her chance. She squared her shoulders and lifted her chin confidently. "I am Swiftpaw," she announced, a hint of a challenge in her tone. "What about you, swamp cat? I can tell you're from ShadowClan."
Embergaze of ShadowClan fourtrees | accompanied by Fungistalk
Once Fungistalk agreed to join him, he quickly set off through the crowd. He was starting to realize why they'd never talked much. Fungistalk was tough, thick skinned, which he admired, but she was not one for idle conversation if he remembered rightly. He hoped that inviting her to come along with him might help ease her out of that shell and prevent the both of them from feeling awkward.
"Let's go see what SkyClan is up to," he suggested. "We never talk to them." SkyClan territory was about as far as one could get from ShadowClan's without leaving the Clan territories altogether. Maybe they'd have some interesting gossip about ThunderClan.

thunderclan n i g h t w i n g fourtrees at night Nightwing was startled when he felt something bump into him and he turned, an apology and a word of concern already at his lips when they stopped dead when he saw that it was Cinderfall. While the gathering had sent his heart into a crazy panic, but seeing the gray tabby molly set it into another beat, one less of panic and more of anticipation. While Cinderfall fumbled over an apology, he took the chance to enjoy the way the light played with her amber eyes and felt relaxed for the first time tonight. He gave her a smile and was about to reply when his assigned companion snapped him away with the annoyance in his voice and his ears folded back in disappointment. He was looking forward to getting to know this molly but seems that such company could ruin a mood. As Wolfstep started to move, the tom leans down to her ear and whispers "Much better now." coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

FUNGISTALK // SHADOWCLAN Gathering // Interacting with Embergaze ( Tealraven )
Another few blank blinks from Fungistalk as the tom raced towards the other clans. However, she scoffed at his quickness into the crowd. She, although slow at first, soon followed him, making her way pass the other cats. Her ears flicked at their conversations and she almost- almost got distracted before turning back to the tom.
"They're quite a bits away from camp, it's not often we get to talk to them." The she-cat spoke much too quickly, her mouth gaping lightly to take in all the scents. "They may not want to talk to us ShadowClanners. Or. At least me. Not that I mind." To be honest, the rustic cat preferred her clanmates than the others.
