- - Copperspots of RiverClan [ Feathertalon] As soon as Chickenflight was close enough, Copperspots rubbed against him, purring nonstop at the sight of the other tom. “I missed you!” He said in greeted, only pulling away afterwards. “It’s felt like a lifetime since we’ve gotten a chance to talk,” Copperspots added with another loud purr as he looked at Chickenflight. Of course it hadn’t actually been that long, only a moon or so, but that hadn’t stopped it from feeling like forever. “Come on, lets find a place to talk and watch the rest of the gathering together,” Copperspots suggested, gesturing with his head for Chickenflight to follow him as he padded over to a secluded, shaded area a little ways away from everyone else where they could talk in peace.

»𝕊𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣« She contemplated what the leader was saying, it had crossed her mind many times, to take another clan's land to help her own prosper. She was never the type to throw the first claws though, well...okay that was wrong. She had certainly fought first as a warrior but now she had to undo the damage done by Branchstar. Should she reply to her with agreement or keep it to herself? She had no time to overthink this more, no a strange molly was approaching. Her pelt was familiar but a name slipped her mind, who was this sitting with them? Wait, oh yes. This is Stagstar's deputy. Perhaps she had caused more damage than she had originally thought. The thought of the tom sitting in the medicine cat's den wailing about how he needed to be at the gathering brought warmth over her pelt. He deserved everything and more.
"You." She mewed pointedly, looking behind Batstar abandoning the conversation from before. "You're Rainleaf, deputy of ThunderClan, correct? Was Stagstar unable to attend? How sad, his presence will be missed among us tonight." The sarcasm was dripping, eyes narrowed into slits. She had no qualms with the deputy at this moment though it could easily change. Rainleaf had never made a lasting impression on her, she had no idea whether or not she had a love the tom.

- - Batstar of ShadowClan [ ☾ѕησσzє☽, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁] As much as she would have liked to continue her conversation with Squirrelstar, it would have to wait for another day. Batstar paused, tilting her head as Rainleaf approached. Curious, Stagstar didn’t seem like the type to miss a meeting. “Greetings, Rainleaf, is Stagstar il-“ before she could continue, Squirrelstar spoke up and Batstar fell quiet. She flicked her ears towards the curly furred leader, tilting her head curiously. Squirrelstar spoke with such sarcasm that Batstar could barely hide an amused mrrp from escaping her. She didn’t have anything against Stagstar, though she hadn’t always gotten along with him either. Apparently she wasn’t the only one. Perhaps after they had gone over announcements, Batstar could pry for more details. Clearly something had gone on between SkyClan and ThunderClan and Batstar would by lying if she claimed she wasn’t curious. This was one of the downsides of being across the Thunderpath from everyone else, she missed out on drama.

Rosepaw walked near the edges of the crowd, watching the cats milling about, beginning to start conversations and hang out with each other. He didn’t like gatherings. They were too loud for one thing loud and busy and crowded and loud. He wanted to sneak away, but he knew if Mintface caught him, he would really be in trouble. So for now, he just walked and sulked. He stopped finally, glancing up at the leaders. “Come one.” He muttered, “arrive so we can get this over with and go already.”

- - Cherrypaw of WindClan [OPEN]
Cherrypaw honestly couldn’t decide if she enjoyed gatherings or not. On one hand, she liked seeing what the other clans were up to, and getting any possible gossip that she could from them. However on the other hand, gatherings also made the other clan cats think they could talk to her for whatever reason and Cherrypaw just wasn’t ready for that. She would listen, and if she found someone that she actually enjoyed talking to, she didn’t mind conversation.
For the most part however, she preferred to sit on the sidelines and watch. Which was exactly what she was doing right now.
Having found herself a place to sit that wasn’t too far away from the rock the leaders stood on, the older apprentice watched as cats mingled together, some seemed to enjoy the social interactions, some seemed to enjoy them a little too much, and some looked as if they would rather be bleeding out in the forest than be here.
It was enough to make a molly wonder why they even did these things in the first place.

fourtrees ; with fireflycloud;
We are playing a game of bingo and every ball is coming out covered in question marks. Ferretmask grasps for why she was chosen for the gathering. She is not a social cat; friendly, out-going, brimming-with-networking potential; this is a list of characteristics associated with the cats you send to a gathering. The warrior meant to make a good impression. Neon signs shouting, “screw you, our clan is thriving!” towards the collective. Ferretmask is not thriving. Ferretmask is barely anything at all. She is a shadow. She is in the wallpaper.
And that must be the answer. Ferretmask, who slinks away from her clan the moment that they arrive at the gathering, is inoffensive. Who were the alternatives to her? Ashensnow, who would challenge Stagstar to a fight-to-the-death in front of all the clans, pretending that the older tom has slighted his honor in some trivial but consequential way. Mantispaw, who would, screaming, interrupt one of the leaders because she was a kettle reaching a boil because she saw one of her friends.
Ferretmask was the best choice because Ferretmask was mutable. She was whoever you wanted her to be. She was hiding in the shadows and only visible by the gentle blink blink of her noon-blue eyes. She is also, judging from the surge of cats she finds herself surrounded by, now a member of ThunderClan. The last-clan-to-arrive swams around her all at once. Locusts. The she-cat bounces back and stumbles against a soft-eyed she-cat. Her nerves are firing from all directions, but she recognizes her. Vaguely. This was not Ferretmasks first gathering. It was not this girl’s either.
“Oh – Fireflycloud, right?” The words topple out of the mink-colored she-cats mouth like dominos falling in succession. Once they start she can’t stop them. She is nervous, again. “Um. I’m sorry, so sorry, for bumping into you. I h-hope you’re well!”

Rainstar's gaze on Squirrelstar betrayed nothing. "Ah, still suffering from old wounds? Quite amusing.." the calico thought to herself. She remembered when Stagstar came back, bleeding but proudly bragging about besting the she-cat. It was odd how he did so, as you'd think that it would be against morals. He beamed about that "victory" all while refusing to get treated. He insisted that he would be fine but the infection set in too well. Cottonfang did try but Stagstar's foolishness was the cause of his death. Determined to keep things in control, Rainstar nodded.
"I'm sorry to disappoint if you were looking for him tonight." she answered. The she-cat knew Squirrelstar was trying to dig for information but with Batstar here, the fresh leader didn't want to start a commotion. At least not yet. Avoiding the topic, Rainstar continued with something else. "The heat is getting worse. I hope your Clans are able to keep cool." her eyes softened as she thought about how whiny the kits in each Clan could be with this heat. Any mother wouldn't permit them to get out in the blaze, so they must be eager to play. Of course, she would be thinking of such things, she did miss her time in the nursery. However, she must be strong now. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

Chickenflight » ShadowClan The black and white tomcat felt the skin under his fur go warm when Copperspots so easily verbalized the thoughts that Chickenflight had kept locked away in his head. Perhaps that meant he could be a bit more bold with his thoughts, be more outspoken with Copperspots. They were friends after all, and had been for what had to be seasons at this point. Chickenflight could say what he wanted to the other tomcat. He shouldn't let his awkwardness hold him back from speaking his mind.
Right then and there Chickenflight decided that tonight was going to be the night he stopped holding his tongue around Copperspots. They were friends, and Chickenflight shouldn't have to worry about keeping his thoughts to himself when with a friend. He took in a deep breath, steeled his nerves, and readied himself to be a bolder, more outspoken cat with his RiverClan friend.
Chickenflight followed after the other tom with a purr in his throat. He took a quick glance around the clearing, making sure he hadn't missed anything important before returning his attention to Copperspots. "I missed you too," he murmured, voice quiet but full of sincerity. "How have you been holding up this last moon?" He asked as he followed the RiverClan tom. It was small talk, but Chickenflight had to know how Copperspots had fared in the past moon, especially what with the heatwave that had its deadly grip across the forest.

fireflycloud // thunderclan Fireflycloud jumps— physically jumps off the ground —when another cat jostles against her. Fur bristling and claws sinking into the ground, the ThunderClan warrior fights to regain her composure.
Only for that composure to be lost once more when she sees her assailant is a ShadowClan cat. As if this gathering weren't bad enough, now she's being accosted by a ShadowClan warrior. A cat from any other Clan would have been better, manageable. But ShadowClan is best known for two things: smelling like carrion and hating ThunderClan. She recognizes the other from past gatherings, a she-cat by the name of Ferretmask. She swallows, heart hammering in her chest. Ferretmask is talking, though Fireflycloud only knows this because her mouth is moving, but she can't hear a word of it.
Voice shaking, "If you're looking for a f-fight, you're not going to find one h-here! StarClan forbids fighting during gatherings." She can only hope she sounds confident, she certainly doesn't feel confident. Why did it have to be ShadowClan?

- - Copperspots of RiverClan [ Feathertalon] Lying down, Copperspots waited until Chickenflight joined him before he began to talk, though he kept an eye on the leaders as well to make sure he wasn’t missing anything. “I’ve been doing okay, it’s been really hot recently though,” Copperspots admitted, idly licking his paws. “The river’s started to dry up in a couple areas, it’s getting harder and harder to find fish, I’m not sure what we’re going to do if we can’t fish,” he continued, not meeting Chickenflight’s gaze. He didn’t want to admit it, but RiverClan was struggling under the heat. He probably wouldn’t have mentioned it to anyone else, but Chickenflight was his friend and he trusted him. Pausing for a moment or so longer, Copperspots shook his head and looked back over to Chickenflight. “That’s enough about me though, what about you? How have you been?” He asked, taking the chance to look his friend over. The heat was surely a problem for all five clans, Copperspots could only hope that it was a little easier on ShadowClan than it was for RiverClan right now.

sparrowtuft of windclanaccompanied by Rabbitfoot -> now to find Poppystorm... | four treesSparrowtuft had never spent enough time conversing with Rabbitfoot to figure out how he felt about the tom, but he was sure enough that he was agitated. Whether it was due to the fact that their newly named leader couldn't attend or it was, well, Sparrowtuft himself, was a mystery to the deputy. He let out mrrow of amusement when the medicine cat mentioned the grandeur of leadership. Grand or not... It's not getting in my way, he thought.
"I'll try not to!" he joked back, smirking at the tabby. "I'll meet up with the deputies first and then speak with the leaders. If anyone needs anything, you know where to find me."
And with that, the white and brown tabby was off, heading in the direction of a certain dilute calico-- Poppystorm of SkyClan. It wasn't long before he sauntered up to the she-cat, eyeing her carefully. "Hello, Poppystorm," he greeted, dipping his head before grinning at her. (Alrighty, this is going to be lengthy.)
Silverswift- WindClan (communicating with):
The gray she cat walked into Fourtrees with her eyes shining in awe. The stars were almost blinking in the dark sky above her. Quickly, she sat down next to Magpiechirp. However, next to her was a dark brown tom with sharp, piercing blue eyes and what it looked to be yellowed teeth, a she cat with stripes and green eyes, and a large mountain lion looking cat that smelled of ThunderClan. Silverswift wrinkled her nose in disgust.
Dusttail- RiverClan (Silverswift):
The tom noticed how the gray cat sitting on his left looking at him with a puzzled look on her face. “My name is Dusttail. I apologize about my fur, it tends to get matted. You seem to be a moor runner from the looks of your skinny frame. My friend, Sorghumnose, now has a beetle for a friend. I don’t know if she named it yet. It would be weird to not name a pet beetle,” he mused to the she cat. To his surprise, the she cat laughed. “A beetle? Huh. Tell her congrats. They are hard to catch because some can fly away from your grasp. Silverswift,” she introduced herself.
Cougartalon- ThunderClan (communicating with):
He noticed Silverswift’s gesture and ignored it. ThunderClan cats do have a distinct odor. Maybe she wasn’t used to it yet. He watched as the leaders gave their reports on the prey numbers, new apprentices, and more. He was worried about the heat affecting everybody. He didn’t know if rain was coming or not to replenish the rivers and ponds to help thirsty warriors, kits, and elders.
Pinedapple- ShadowClan (communicating with):
The she cat remained in a crouching position. She felt intimated by all these strangers, but somehow felt comfortable. Maybe I can make some friends with these cats, she thought. She went over to Cougartalon and sat down behind him. He was a large cat, so he blocked the she cat’s view. Pinedapple moved over so that she could see the trees and the Great Rock better. “Sorry, can I sit next to you?” She asked the tom, who nodded and allowed her to find a spot. “The heat is exhausting me. How’s your Clan fairing?” She asked. The tom sighed. “We are all suffering in this heat,” he replied in a gruff voice.

Of course she knew deep down she shouldn't be bitter about it all but he took her first life and even then it was a dirty trick, he had struck when she had already been pinned down. Sure, it could be seen as just advantage of an opportunity but there was something wrong in striking a cat while they're down. She was glad he was out of commission for the time being. So long as he was gone she would have little to worry herself with. Her ears perked up as Rainleaf continued speaking, asking about how the clans were fairing on their own in the drought.
She would give nothing away to the ThunderClan molly. "SkyClan is well with everything going on, prey is in abundance for us." She took a step forward, gently pushing Batstar beside her and swiping her tail over back in an attempt to tell her she should follow her lead. "I'm assuming your clan is well off also, then again ThunderClan is StarClan sent right?" She mocked, having heard and seen firsthand how much ThunderClan thinks it's better than the rest.

basscloud of riverclanaccompanied by Murkpaw | four trees Thankfully for Murkpaw, it seemed that Basscloud was the only cat to notice her tumble. The dark grey tabby tom was about to make his way through the crowd when he spotted Murkpaw, who was lying flat on the ground. "Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you!" he mewed, embarrassed by his own stupidity. Had he tripped the young molly accidentally?
He could tell that the small feline, or well, she was small to him-- smelled of ThunderClan. Cricketdance padded alongside her clanmates, breathing in the scent of the mingling clans with a small smile. The older she-cat had attended plenty of gatherings in her days, and knew her time was best spent if she didn’t let the gloomy attitude of those around her drag her down. Riverclan, like many of the clans, was suffering from the drought; but she still sauntered into the clearing of the fourtrees with her usual grace. Hearing the sigh of the younger warrior ahead of her, she quickened her pace and gave him a friendly nudge of her shoulder. “It’s best if you don’t look so troubled, Deerpath,” she purred. “Gatherings are always interesting if you allow yourself to enjoy them,” she meowed, knowing that her rather infamous reputation of taking serious matters too lightly would likely discredit her advice. Despite the stigma, she genuinely never understood the nervous energy that some cats carried with them to gatherings. She tossed her head in the direction of the conversing leaders, whiskers twitching. She was sure the other clans had their own assumptions on how Riverclan was fairing in the drought. Most of them were probably right, if she was being honest, but that didn’t have to mean she needed to saunter around like they had something to prove. “Want to poke around with me? I can usually find someone talking about something fun.” She was already scanning the other cats as she spoke, eagerly looking for something to keep her enthralled.

fourtrees ; with fireflycloud;
Does Ferretmask look like a warrior? Seriously, glance her over and let me know. Her pelt is feather-down soft, unscarred and fluffed out like a baby bird. At the mention of a fight her pelt is now standing on end; all blown out like a frightened puffer-fish or a startled cat (which she is). Ferretmask does not taste of ShadowClan, though she may smell of it. She is honey-sweet. There may be a bee lost inside the honey – but she is still honey. The bee may be manipulating its way down your esophagus and begging you to let it live in your stomach, but the honey is still honey the same. It made the honey. It is basically the honey; it comes from its body as salvation comes from the body of StarClan. The bee and the honey are the same. Ferretmask and ShadowClan are not the same. Are you following?
Is anyone following.
Ferretmask stares at Fireflycloud and she is shaking, and she is not following the trail of thought or the trail of a fight.
“N-no! I would never fight. I hate fighting. I don’t want to fight you.” That is a lot of fighting in one sentence. Ferretmask feels as if she is distancing herself from ShadowClan with the “nevers” and entangling itself in it with the “fights” simultaneously. She is both the bee and the honey and both ShadowClan and poignantly not at the same time. Are you following? She isn’t.
“I – I just said. I just said hi and. And I hope you’re ok. Those aren’t fighting words in ShadowClan, granted everything is a fighting word in ShadowClan but I promise I’m not trying to fight, oh dear. I’m sorry.”

rabbitfoot, amberclaw, and patchthroat- briefly mentioning SandRabbitfoot's smile became less sheepish as Sparrowtuft trotted off. Thank StarClan he can take a joke... even a nervous one. Some leaders certainly couldn't. Having a moment of peace, the round and rumpled little tom sauntered off to join the other medicine cats when an orange and white blur crashed into him. "Hey! Watch where you're going, signorina!" grumbled Rabbitfoot, somewhat sarcastically. But Amberclaw did not hear him as she raced to WindClan's side of the clearing- while Rabbitfoot's voice was very deeply-pitched, it was quiet, and it wasn't able to reach over the endlessly-chattering crowd. Some cats, he thought to himself as he muttered under his breath, before sitting down by the other medicine cats and trying to look pleasant enough. Amberclaw could never sit still, especially when the summer night air was so thick with excitement. So thick it practically lifted her up. She was racing about erratically from Clan to Clan, taking in as many sights and smells as she could. However, she clearly hadn't learned her lesson from accidentally decking Rabbitfoot in the face, as she soon crashed into yet another WindClan tom. After she fell, she looked up to see the cat she'd crashed into- she assumed by his appearance that he was Patchthroat. She had heard of the hunchbacked tunneler from other cats in ThunderClan who had taken joy in jeering at his oddly-shaped spine, and she couldn't help but immediately wince at him out of instinct. But although the wince went away as soon as it came, Patchthroat was visibly slightly deflated- but Amberclaw didn't want to remind herself of her budding embarrassment by apologizing, and scrambled off as soon as she could while Patchthroat began to joke about ThunderClanners.

- - Batstar of ShadowClan [ ☾ѕησσzє☽, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁] Batstar looked from Squirrelstar to Rainleaf, then back to Squirrelstar. Yeah she was missing some sort of detail here. Between Squirrelstar changing the narrative on how well SkyClan was doing to her snide comments about ThunderClan, Batstar almost wished she was close enough to the two clans to already know a bit more of what went on. Either way, if this was how the entire gathering was going to be, it just went from a dull formality to entertainment. “ShadowClan is doing well enough, our pines shade us from the sun and the marsh cools our feet,” she explained, following after Squirrelstar. Of course, the marsh was drying up and even if they were well shaded, it was still far too hot for comfort, not to mention their increasing rat problem, however Batstar did share a border with ThunderClan, and it seemed a little unwise to admit that her clan was weakened and tensions were high among them right now.

DORMOUSETAIL riverclan fourtrees cherrypaw/ 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 ------------------------------
Dormousetail trotted happily into Fourtrees. She hadn't been to a gathering in a while, and she was incredibly excited! With a great bounce in her step she joined her Clanmates in filling the area. "Who should I talk to first?" she asked herself quietly, tail raised high in the air. "Who...?" She walked around, scanned the cats around her. Her eyes locked onto an apprentice who smelled strongly of WindClan.
"Hi there!" She purred. "I don't think I've seen you here before...Are you a new apprentice? Is this your first gathering?" She tilted her head to the side, eyes wide with curiosity. "Or am I just blind?"
VULTUREFOOT windclan fourtrees / open / ------------------------------
Vulturefoot pressed low to the ground, scuttling across the grass and dirt like a frightened beetle. Gatherings were fun to be at...when she wasn't being approached by other cats and being dragged into conversations. She kept to the back, hoping she'd blend in to the shadows and get to enjoy the news without having to spit up words. Her fur bristled as she imagined herself struggling to speak to a cat from another Clan. If I stay back here not only will I not embarrass myself, I won't embarrass WindClan.

Chickenflight » ShadowClan Chickenflight took a seat beside Copperspots, laying down close enough for their fur to brush ever so slightly. For as awkward as he could be, Chickenflight did enjoy the closeness of another cat around him, especially with a cat he was comfortable around, and he was rather comfortable with Copperspots. While they had only been able to meet up at gatherings, Chickenflight still felt a closeness to the tomcat that he would put on the same level as his littermates and mother. It was like Copperspots was family in a way, or something along those lines, but he just happened to be RiverClan.
While he felt at ease with Copperspots, he certainly felt a hollow chasm of worry open up in his chest when his friend went on to mention how the dry spell was affecting RiverClan's main source of food. "I'm sorry about that," he murmured, his words truly apologetic. He looked at his friend with nothing but concern in his eyes and written on every inch of his body. "If...if there's anything I can do, let me know. I mean, I know I can't send over fish or water or anything like that, but..." He trailed off, looking down at his paws as they shuffled across the earth. He was just a ShadowClan warrior, and it wasn't like he could really do anything to help out with the shortage of water and lack of fish, but he felt more useful saying he could be there for Copperspots and try than not. It was the least he could do he supposed.
With a flick of his tail, Chickenflight answered Copperspots's question, "I've personally been fine. ShadowClan as a whole, though... Well, this dry spell hasn't been good for the marsh, either. Prey's been getting harder to find, and I can only imagine what'll happen if we don't get any rain soon." As he spoke the words he glanced up as if hoping to see even the suggestion of a rain cloud, but there was nothing. He knew not to be too disappointed, though, as he knew that a cloudy night on a gathering was a bad omen rather than a good one. "I'm sure all the Clans are starting to suffer at this point." Chickenflight let out a low sigh as the words slipped off his lips. He was worried about the well-being of all the Clans, and he could only pray to StarClan that rain would soon come.

At least it wasn’t someone from ThunderClan, Murkpaw had done enough embarrassing things in front of her own clanmates to last a lifetime, it was about time she started to branch out and humiliate herself in front of the other clans anyways. Sighing, Murkpaw flicked her tail and pushed herself up to her feet, letting out an annoyed hum as she took in her dusty appearance. Ebonystone was going to take one look at her when she got back and insist on grooming her. “I’m fine, I tripped all on my own, believe me it’s something I’m very good at,” Murkpaw explained wearily. If she wanted to she could probably make up an array of excuses for her trips. Like, for instance, she could say that her paws were too big for her tiny legs, however that was false, her paws were just as tiny as her legs were. She wasn’t a big cat by any means, nor would she ever be one, but at least she was equally proportioned from legs to feet. Giving a small shake of her head, Murkpaw finally looked up to see who was talking to her, blinking as she took in his size. “...Can you even see me from up there?” She asked bluntly, tipping her head to the side.

Listening in to what Batstar and Squirrelstar were saying, the leader merely wanted to avoid the conversation about Stagstar. She wanted the other Clans to be alright but she didn't mind if they struggled just a tad if it meant ThunderClan was safe. Rainstar nodded after hearing their Clans were fairing well. She was about to speak, but Squirrelstar's comment interrupted her thoughts.
"I'm assuming your clan is well off also, then again ThunderClan is StarClan sent right?"
She couldn't help herself, as the calico let out a mrrow of laughter. The mockery was annoying, but it was very interesting of how petty a leader could be. She straightened herself out, giving a good sniff. "I apologize. Your joke was quite funny. We all know that StarClan favors our Clans equally, but I understand how SkyClan may feel about ThunderClan sometimes!" she snickered. Her eyes narrowed for a moment but Rainstar eased her stare. Now was not the time to lower herself. Really, she wanted to respond in a similar fashion. "You would think StarClan favors ThunderClan after you lost to one of the oldest cats in the forest." - - Cherrypaw of WindClan [ iciclerain] Cherrypaw looked up as someone approached. She must be a RiverClan cat, the stretch of fish emitting from her was so thick that if Cherrypaw squinted she could probably see it. Tilting her head to the side, Cherrypaw looked her over. “An apprentice, yes, a new one, no,” she replied lightly, licking her paw. “You must have just missed me before.” Which by the way, was a great offense. Cherrypaw liked to think she stood out with her calico pelt, her mismatched eyes, and her tiny, short tail. She was unique, at least that’s what she thought. ”I’m Cherrypaw, and I’m assuming you’re from RiverClan?” She asked, looking over at the molly curiously.

- - Copperspots of RiverClan [ Feathertalon] It was nice of Chickenflight to offer his help, even if he couldn’t really do anything to help the situation in RiverClan, Copperspots appreciated the offer. This was what he meant he told Archwhisker about how great Chickenflight was. By now he was sure that his littermate was sick of hearing all about the ShadowClan warrior, in fact half of RiverClan was probably sick of hearing about Chickenflight. Copperspots just couldn’t help it, after his first meeting with Chickenflight, he hadn’t been able to get the other tom out of his head. “That’s kind of you to offer, I’d help ShadowClan too, if I could,” Copperspots told him, pausing for a moment as he looked around, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he inched towards Chickenflight. “What if there was something we could do?” He whispered quietly, looking around to make sure no one else was listening in on them.

Silverswift- WindClan (Dusttail):
The she cat couldn’t help to think that Dusttail was a bit of an odd ball, especially about his knowledge about beetles and insects of all things. “How do you know about beetles and their eating habits?” She questioned the tom curiously.
Dusttail- RiverClan (Silverswift):
The tom shifted his paws at Silverswift’s question. “I am fascinated by insects. I like to learn more about them and how to take care of them. Beetles are pretty cool. They have hard shell-like pelts that help protect them from harm. You can hear it crunch underneath your paws if you are not careful,” he explained to the she cat.
Pinedapple- ShadowClan (Vulturefoot):
Pinedapple noticed that a WindClan cat looking more scared than she was. She carefully approached the cat and mewed a friendly greeting at her. “Hello, I couldn’t help but notice that you look lonely. I’m Pinedapple of ShadowClan,” she introduced herself. She tried to make herself less threatening.

»𝕊𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣« A soft snort escaped her, giving a quick nod before turning back to Batstar, she knew they were discussing nothing of importance before but something about Rainleaf made her fur crawl. "We can continue our former conversation later, Batstar. Perhaps before our clans disperse?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. She then turned her attention to other leader, Cloudstar has been silent this whole time but that was fine. She didn't expect her to get involved in a petty argument that was bound to begin if they continued to speaking.
"Cloudstar, you've been silent. I hope you're doing well, I'd hate for my favorite bordering clan to fall under bad times." Her words were certainly part of a jab at ThunderClan but she didn't mind this, she had made it well known before that RiverClan was more or less favored by her. Cloudstar hadn't caused unneeded battles for her, instead she focused on her own clan their needs. Very admirable, though she had to admit if ShadowClan was near she might prefer them over the other, nothing against the water loving clan, she just enjoyed Batstar's company very much. The two had become leaders so closely together she felt like Batstar understood her more.

DORMOUSETAIL riverclan fourtrees cherrypaw / 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 ------------------------------
Dormousetail sat down, her tail curling over her paws. "Welp, guess I'm blind then! I don't know how I didn't see you before, I remember most of the cats I see at gatherings," she chuckled. "It's a pleasure to meet you Cherrypaw," she nodded, "and yes, I'm from RiverClan. My name's Dormousetail." She perked up, "Do you know what a dormouse is? I never saw one until I was halfway through my apprenticeship. They're very cute and small, like mice but a bit smaller. I found a sleeping one and startled it so bad it flipped over itself! Have you ever seen a cherry before? Does WindClan have trees-oh yeah, are you from WindClan? You smell like WindClan so I just assumed you were." She waved her paws around like she was drowning, twirling her paws and toes as she spoke.
VULTUREFOOT windclan fourtrees pinedapple / Thunderheart57 ------------------------------
Vulturefoot stared up at the ShadowClan cat for a few moments. She twitched her nose. They're from ShadowClan...And they seem friendly. She backed away out of instinct, then forced herself forward. She faked a smile as she dipped her head and replied, "I'm Vulturefoot, uh, from WindClan." To look more proper she took a seat and straightened her back. "How are you doing in ShadowClan-I mean, uh, how's it going...in Shadow...Clan?" Her voice faded out near the end, becoming a low crackling sound. Great work Vulturefoot, really struck the landing. She told her mind to shut up and made her smile larger. It looked like she was baring her teeth threatening, not showing a kind smile.

i am slowly going to add all of my starters here ~~ shadow (mossy & mud), thunder (panther), river (storm), wind (shy), and sky (ragged)
Mossynose Shadowclan Deputy With Ravenpaw ( @smores )
i figured he can ditch his mother soon Padding into the clearing behind Batstar, the dark brown molly's gaze flickered towards Skyclan taking note that Shadowclan was the second to arrive. She twitched her whiskers as her clanmates moved around the clearing, some of them starting to mingle with Skyclan and the other clans while some like Martensnap went to find a comfortable seat.
In the corner of her eye, she noticed Ravenpaw trying to make himself smaller. She let out a soft sigh and the former queen padded over towards her son. Mossynose brushed her tail along his back, "It is a little overwhelming at first," she mused, glancing around the growing clearing, "But I am sure you will find some nice apprentices to talk to soon," she reassured.
Mudpaw Shadowclan Apprentice Open
The brown tabby tom stepped into the clearing with bright eyes. His amber gaze flickered about and he quickly moved around from Shadowclan cats. It was time to mingle! This wasn't his first gathering. As a senior apprentice, he had the honor of going one or two in the past.
He briefly wondered if he would run into apprentices he seen and talked to before. It would be nice to sit with someone that had a sense of humour and wasn't so strict. Most of the warriors seemed like they didn't like side talk. PanterclawThunderclan Warrior Open Following Thunderclan into the clearing, Pantherclaw was content to go with the flow. The older warrior went to find a comfortable place to sit. He curled a tail neatly over his shoulders and his green gaze flickered around the fourtrees with a friendly yet guarded gleam in his eyes. You never knew what was going to happen at the gatherings.
Right now, he was torn between trying to find someone to talk with or watching the body language of the leaders. It would be bad mojo for an agrument to break out before the gathering even started.
Shyrabbit Windclan Warrior open
The brown tabby molly let out a soft purr as they arrived at the gathering. Shyrabbit was happy they were able to get there all in one piece with Sparrowtuft leading them.
She briefly wondered what news the clans would bring. She did hope for good news but she knew that Windclan wasn't the only suffering from this drought. And that Sparrowtuft would have to report of one death in their clan so far. StormchimeRiverclan Warrior Open
There was an slightly annoyed look on the young warrior's face as she padded into four trees with the rest of the riverclan cats. She was sure that Cloudstar would probably offer Thunderclan forever rights to sunningrocks or let Skyclan start fishing in their rivers.
It was going to be a swell time. She was sure of it with a dark glance towards the pale molly's form.

fireflycloud // thunderclan Fireflycloud shouldn't be here. Rainstar was wrong to bring her, to think she'd be suitable for attending a gathering. Look at her! Not a minute in and she's already on the brink of a fight, how could this get any worse?
"You say that now, but you're just trying to get my guard down!" Was it an unfair accusation? Almost certainly. Though this wasn't her first gathering, Fireflycloud rarely interacted with cats outside ThunderClan. And even within ThunderClan she preferred her own company. Talking to other cats was nigh impossible, there was always the chance she'd say or do something to offend. Her existence was ruled by a constant undercurrent of anxiety. An undercurrent that had become a riptide at present.
Her claws sank deeper into the earth, as though trying to ground herself. All she wanted was to go back to camp. A voice in the back of her head is telling her she needs to calm down, she's on the verge of hyperventilating, it wouldn't look good for ThunderClan if she dissolved into a panic attack.
Breathe, the voice says.
Slow down, the voice says.
You're okay, the voice says.
For a minute, Fireflycloud focuses only on deep, calming breaths, long enough for her to ward off a panic attack for the time being. Composed (or as composed as she can manage), the calico she-cat returns her attention to Ferretmask. "I'm sorry. I... don't talk to outsiders very much..."

Pinedapple- ShadowClan (Vulturefoot):
The she cat laughed. “ShadowClan is actually doing ok all things considered. How’s prey running in WindClan? I heard that the moor runners are catching a lot of rabbits,” she mentioned. Pinedapple made her fur lie flat and yawned.
