Bravepaw With Echoflower Medicine Cat's Den The tom was quick to take her up on her offer, though he was rather clumsy without the use of the front two legs. He managed to crawl his way over without too much of a strain on him, remaining in his laid down position as he pushed himself across the den's floor. Once he arrived, he looked over the herbs, they seemed familiar. It's one she's used on me. Her question on their other uses made him pause, he wasn't sure. He hadn't seem many injured cats in his days as an apprentice so it left a blank spot in his knowledge. Guessing was better than saying nothing, though, wasn't it?
"Well...cobwebs could be used to soak up blood right? Or maybe binding broken bones." Mousebrain, that's what she had used on him, wasn't it? Well he wasn't exactly fully there when she was tending to him the first time. Was there blood? He, honestly, didn't want to know. "As for Rush..uhhh..." He drew out his words, looking up at the ceiling as if StarClan would come down and grant the answers. Well rush was...the word rush meant to hurry right? "Do..do you eat them? To..make you faster?" Well that was certainly not the answer but it was the best he had. ʙєωɪᴛᴄʜɪηɢ ηɪɢʜᴛѕʜαɗє ~ ~👻

Echoflower Echoflower watched at the curious tom looked at the herbs trying to guess them. She watched carefully as he guessed each one and the black and white she-cat sat back far from him to not make him nervous. She hoped once she got an apprentice she would teach the young tom or molly well. She was nervous but this would be a good practice round at least.
She gave a soft trill as he guessed the cobwebs correctly. She figured it was easy enough, although the guess for rush made her giggle a little. "I can see why you would think that but no," she said with a soft purr. "Rush is used for broken bones and to help keep it in place while your joints are healing," she said her tail wagging a bit. She was looking over at him she was proud and would think he may make a good medicine cat, however, his heart was that of a warrior. She looked forward to his warrior ceremony she knew very well that Squirrelstar would be proud.

L I T T L E D O V E in camp with open
It was a quiet day in camp, many cats lounging about or going on hunting trips in a leisure manner. All seemed relaxed as felines hung about in the sun, tossing a moss ball or watching kits scamper across the clearing, batting each other's tails and giggling loudly. Despite the beautiful day, one cat couldn't share in the delights of a warm, lazy day. The small frame of Littledove slipped into camp silently, dropping a measly black bird on the fresh-kill pile before dragging herself to a soft patch of grass at the edge of a clearing, settling down on her belly and placing her head between her paws. A long sigh escaped the molly's lips, her blue eyes glittering in a distant manner, almost appearing disappointed. The silver tabby hadn't been out of camp long, leaving that morning with a spring in her step, though now she appeared dejected. I don't understand some cats.. she thought lamely, gritting her teeth as she tried to appear bored rather than upset. She hated when cats pitied her, especially if it was only over some tom! A flash of irritation appeared on her face before she shook it away, sitting up and rasping her tongue across her fluffed up pelt. I'm not going to give him the time of day! she decided in a huff, narrowing her blue eyes.
{ feel free to respond to Littledove, anyone who is interested! }

After a long, deep stretch, Elmheart managed to get his paws properly under him. He was still a bit stiff after a patrol, but otherwise was doing very well indeed. From there, it had been a tough situation to actually calm down enough for his body to actually be willing to rest. Rather than pace. And now he didn't feel like moving again. There was a lot to think about. "It's too hot," he murmured, trying not to make his complaint too vocal. (Maybe near enough for dαιѕy 's Littledove to hear?)

Cricketpaw
Barreling outside of the apprentice’s den at full speed, Cricketpaw came to a halting stop just before crashing into his mother, he teetered on the tips of his paws for a moment or so, and then immediately crashed right into Sunchirp’s soft fur with a soft and muffled “oomph” escaping him. Pushing himself back up to his feet, Cricketpaw sat down in front of her. “Sorry, I heard your voice and I got excited and my feet went too fast,” he explained and shot a disapproving look down at his feet, clicking his tongue at them. “We gotta teach these feet to go slow, bad feet!” He scolded them lightly before looking back up towards his mother, his eyes bright. “What’re we gonna do today?” He asked, bouncing back up to his feet as he swished his tail around in excitement.

Emeraldpaw Camp
Emeraldpaw came back to camp carrying a mouse in his mouth. The mouse was small, likely a runt and seemed like it was eventually just going to die on its own. He placed it in the pile then looked around the bushes which he then proceeded to just walk off on his own. Ever since climbing was banned he seems bored and uninterested in things. He tended to leave to meet up with his Mom more often due to this. Nothing bad usually happens and nobody ever really notices except his mentor. He let his mind wander while his body was moving, he then walked straight into a tree which was not comfortable. "Gosh darn it-" He muttered to himself. "That really hurt... I need to pay attention to where I'm going" He sat down to calm his mind and to focus a bit. After a moment, he got up and continued walking while looking for a bit before stopping when he saw the Ancestral Tree. Every day until the ban he tried to get up the tree, getting slightly close each time, but now? He couldn't do anything. He layed down next to it, before a thought came to his head. What if he climbed up the tree, nobody is gonna notice... right? He quickly spun his head around to see if anybody was near. The coast was clear, he then started to climb.

L I T T L E D O V E in Camp with Elmheart
Despite his attempt to be quiet, Littledove's sharp ears swiveled around to catch Elmheart's words, pink nose twitching slightly in agreement. It certainly was hot, the sun beating down on the earth below, accompanied by a warm gust of wind to make any cat feel as if they were suffocating. "No hotter than usual, but terrible all the same, Elmheart," she replied in her light voice, realizing he might not've known she was there. She didn't want to scare the tom, but found herself needing a distraction from her day to day struggles. She wasn't too close with the tomcat, of course they'd patrolled together and shared a den, but the two didn't have any special interactions. Perhaps it was cause Littledove typically performed warrior duties nightly rather than in the morning. Besides, Dragonflypaw tended to be a late riser anyway and the warrior had her hands full with the little apprentice. "Perhaps RiverClan will let you take a dip in their river?" she suggested, her gentle tone holding a teasing edge as she shuffled closer to the tomcat so they weren't at such an awkward distance.

Bravepaw With Echoflower Medicine Cat's Den A rush of embarassment filled him, of course it would be used for that and not to make a cat go faster. If it was used for his own suggestion, surely more warriors would be asking about it and talking about the herb. He looked over to her other herbs, giving them a quick whiff before scrunching his nose up and pushing his head back. He could feel a sneeze coming on but it might not be the best idea to do it all over her herbs. Finally, he managed to cool his nose down and looked to Echoflower.
"How do you decide your apprentice?" It was a sudden question, sure, but it had been nagging at him for a while. As a kit, he constantly worried about Echoflower just randomly choosing him to be her apprentice. To him, it wasn't an unfounded worry. He was always more of the laid back type when it came down to fighting others. Is that the one requirement, though? To not have a desire to fight? His father used to tell him it was, that he'd end up a medicine cat unless he toughened up and sunk his claws or teeth into the enemy. He didn't really see the other clan's as enemies though, just...all cats trying to survive. ʙєωɪᴛᴄʜɪηɢ ηɪɢʜᴛѕʜαɗє ~ ~👻

Echoflower Echoflower gave a purr of satisfaction at the sight of him being curious of the herbs. She found it amusing how he scrunched up his nose. Her tail wagged a little bit and she blinked softly being at ease now. It was rare for the Skyclan Medicine cat to relax with everything going. The black and white molly looked down at the young apprentice before speaking. He was asking how she choses a medicine cat apprentice. She figured it might be worry of her trying to have Bravepaw be a medicine cat instead of a warrior. She took a deep breath and looked at Bravepaw.
"Well I choose an apprentice based on their interest in herbs and also their connection to Starclan," she said. While she felt like the connection to Starclan might be far fetched, but there was more to a medicine cat than just healing. "You see Bravepaw being a medicine cat isn't just about healing other cats. It's also their connection to Starclan and to read the omens that our warrior ancestors bring to us," she said with a bit of happy mew. She enjoyed her connection to Starclan even though she missed out on the gathering at the moonpool and guilt sat hard in her gut. She hoped that Starclan could forgive her absence.

"Anything you can think of to do?" Elmheart said with a small sigh. "StarClan knows I'm hot enough to take even my sister's crazy ideas. Yours would probably be a bit more reasonable." His whiskers twitched when Littledove made further comment about RiverClan. "They'd find me floundering in the river, that's what." He cast a glance carefully over his fellow Warrior. "You don't happen to know how to swim, do you?" Maybe talking about water in this heat wasn't the best idea, but he still felt like it was the only conversation point which he could think of and have actual time to wonder about.

L I T T L E D O V E in Camp with Elmheart
The Molly blinked her blue eyes lightly at Elmheart, tipping her head slightly to the side. "Me? A SkyClan cat know how to swim?" she joked heartily, tail tip twitching beside her. A small pin of fear did strike her, but she decided to push it away. As an apprentice, Littledove had gotten in trouble because of her infatuation with a RiverClan tom. He had in fact taught her to swim when they had been meeting, and although the she-cat held no malice toward her former lover, she didn't want it to be known that she had been disloyal to SkyClan at one time. Thankfully, the leader didn't say what she was punished for, just that she had broken the warrior code. Some had speculated, but Littledove was glad that she still held her pride. "I may have fallen in the stream a few times, but I'm no fan of water!" her tone held a soft edge of humor to it, nose twitching slightly. She parted her maw in a small yawn, the sun making tiredness creep through her bones. She arched her back and flexed her claws, sinking them into the dry earth below her. "Perhaps we should go do something, this heat is making me sleepy and I don't want to waste my afternoon snoozing," she explained, rising to her paws and shaking them out.

Snowstep | open It was dreadfully hot. The shade provided by the clump of ferns that made up the elders den was little help. Besides, Snowstep hated spending her time in there. Not that she didn't enjoy the company of the old cats around her but sitting in there weighed down her spirit, reminding her that she would be there for so many more moons to witness senior warriors move in and elders move out to rest with StarClan. It always felt cramped and stuffy. The young she-cat padded slowly out from under the ferns, feeling her pelt brush up against the leaves. She instantly could feel the warmth of the sun shining through the trees, lighting the camp floor with patches of light. Her tail flicked left and right with mild discomfort as she found a shady spot to settle down, rolling onto her side and stretching her legs out in front of her. Her head turned, blue eye staring absently ahead as her ears twitched to listen to the sounds of her clanmates chatting. Her jaws slightly opened, drinking in the scents of camp, pinpointing who was close by.

Burningsight With Lilacdawn Camp/Territory Gauge how he was feeling? Oh no, that didn't sound too pleasant if he was honest but he wasn't the one to deny his mate what she wanted. He might just fib a little, he didn't think his feelings towards his kit really mattered. She had no ties to Bravepaw or Canarypaw, well not really at least. Sure she was his mates with their father, but that was where it ended. He didn't expect her to fret over them. "Well, we can certainly take a stroll." His head turned to the exit of camp, a small laugh escaping him. "Though I can't promise if I scent something I won't try to catch it." He turned to leave, gesturing with his tail for her to follow.
He wondered if he should start the conversation this time around, she had said she was wanting to catch up. He didn't have much to report for himself though, mostly hunting and patrolling when he wasn't beside her. The boring life of a warrior when there wasn't a threat of a war hanging over their head. Oh yeah. He had missed the meeting and his earlier feelings about it disappeared. Was Squirrelstar planning an attack on the other clans? It would be interesting to finally be back in the midst of battle, it felt like forever since the battle against ThunderClan. "What was the whole meeting about? I seemed to miss the end of it." He asked, running his tail over his mate's flank. 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢
Sorry it's not super great Dx Lilacdawn with Burningsight // camp/territory Lilacdawn eagerly turned to follow her mate out of camp, her jaw spread into a joyful grin. Her heart was full knowing that she was getting to spend time with Burningsight outside of sharing a meal or right before falling asleep. She then gets lost in thought, liking the idea of going after a prey's scent trail if one were to come up. Her whiskers twitch and she runs her scratchy tongue over them, her mouth beginning to water at the thought of prey.
The golden molly nearly misses what Burningsight asks, only paying attention after she feels his tail press over her flank. Casting a sheepish look to the ground, Lilacdawn tries to remember Squirrelstar's words. "Well, Squirrelstar sent out two patrols. She sent one including herself to Riverclan then one to go to Thunderclan." She draws her gaze over to her mate, trying to gauge his reaction. "She's going to ask for territory from the clans since we can't hunt in the trees anymore."
"She's hoping they'll give it over, but I'm not entirely sure how either clan is going to react." After briefing Burningsight of the meeting, Lilacdawn looks forward once more as the two warriors duck into their territory, leaving camp behind. Excitement was beginning to brew right in her chest once again, giving the molly somewhat of a pep in her step.

Poppystorm was the deputy of SkyClan and while she served her Clan well, Brambleheart had to admit that she highly intimidated him. The odd part was that they weren't too far apart in age. However, the tom couldn't just feel relaxed. He felt it got worse with her appointment, but hey, it was Squirrelstar's decision. Any time that the diluted calico ordered him on patrols, he would seem to jump when his name was called. In order to prevent that, the tom tried to stay as far away from her as possible. With staying away meant he would throw himself on every patrol he could. How she spoke sent a chill down his spine and the authority in her voice made her seem more wise beyond her years. Needless to say, it was freaky and he didn't like it. He was positive that he was seen as a bumbling fool but given how he couldn't get one sentence out without looking like a kit needing his mother, he didn't care. Today, he would hurry on out and get on something so he wouldn't have the deputy on his tail. He scanned the camp, hurriedly searching for someone he could use as an excuse. With a quick thought, the tom thought of one cat that he could ask. She was kind and he liked that, but oof was she foolish. To save their pelts, the ginger cat called out her name, looking in the warriors den first. "Doveflower? Want to go check the border?" Brambleheart called. coding & icon image by officialrainleafwcf

dαιѕyElmheart"Me, as a SkyClan cat, also does not like getting my paws wet," Elmheart said with a chuckle. "I bet you that there are some cats in this clan that can swim though." He'd place bets that Hickoryfoot had tried it at least once. Either way, it was at least an option to try and consider going to stick their paws in the river, right? "Alright," he said, standing and shaking his fur out. For all the good it did him. "Where do you want to try and going?" he asked. He slowly started pacing a bit, just to work some life back into his muscles. Moving that much would probably just make him hotter, but that would be alright for now. For now, he'd deal with that. "I can't really think of anything other than the river," he said with a small, not very humorous chuckle. "So I might have to let you choose if that's the only thing I can think of."

Doveflower Doveflower was in the warriors den trying to stay out of the blazing sun's reach. It didn't help that her long cream fur made her overheat so easy. Usually she would be all over the place ready to do what was needed of her; but now she was lazing trying to cool off. It wasn't like her she gave an irratatied sigh silently cursing the sun for causing her so much discomfort.
She heard Brambleheart's voice calling her she let out a silent groan. I don't want to go out there, she thought. Oh, stop acting like a kit you've got duties to do a real warrior wouldn't let that get in the way. The cream molly scolded herself mentally forcing herself to get up and head out. She shook her fur a bit to get the loose moss off her pelt. "I wouldn't mind doing a border patrol," she gave a soft trill. While she didn't want to be outside she didn't really want the deputy or the leader to get frustrated with her.

(I'm down!)
Ryelight poked her head out of the warriors den. The she-cat's ears twitched as she pulled herself from the comfort of her nest. Yellow eyes watched the clan for a heartbeat before she padded over to were the fresh-kill pile was. Sniffing, the she-cat hesitated grabbing something. She always felt more comfortable hunting before grabbing food. It was more of her nature.
Slatecrash inspected the camp border. Although things had been peaceful between the clans, he was always quick to make sure camp defenses were up. Never one to waste down time between hunting and patrols, the tom clawed at some brambles to cover a small hole. Not even a mouse could fit through now.
