Stagrunner echoflower & rainsplash // skyclan camp "Your health is the most important," Stagrunner said, nodding to Rainsplash. The elders had served SkyClan for a long time, and Stagrunner had no issues about letting them be treated first. He'd heard some younger cats complain about the elders not doing anything, but thankfully, most seemed to shape up and realize how valuable they were. Most.
Once Echoflower was finished treating Rainsplash, Stagrunner nodded to her and got to his paws. "I'll be glad to get out of camp." And in a peaceful way, he added. Patrols and hunting didn't excite him as much as they used to, not with the violence and risk of injury. After his daughters were born, he was always worried about a patrol being his last. "What herbs do you need?" He asked, trying to dismiss the pessimistic thoughts. While he didn't know a lot about herbs, there were some that he might be able to recognize.
Eaglewing breezesong // skyclan camp
Eaglewing couldn't help but laugh along with Breezesong. Trying to keep any conversation serious with Eaglewing was near impossible. She didn't know how to stay somber, or how to keep her mind grounded. Sometimes it felt like the rest of her clanmates were moving in slow motion as she zipped around them. As far as she remembered, she'd always been that way. Born moving too fast, always chasing Cloudgust's tail and running around his paws. That was just how she was.
She batted jokingly at Breezesong, pulling herself together. "We're very serious warriors, Breezesong," she said, trying to do her best impression of Squirrelstar. "We need to constantly be thinking about the warrior code and hunting prey." Eaglewing puffed out her chest and raised her chin in an attempt to look like an honorable warrior, but like most things she did, it just seemed silly.

Echoflower The black and white molly was happy she wasn't the only one that viewed elders with respect. She had always enjoyed listening to their stories when she was an apprentice even now when they're in her nursery she enjoyed their tales and their wisdom. It wasn't long before Stagrunner brought her out of her trance and she looked at him. "Ah yes, I'm low on Comfrey root, dock, and ragweed," she said she then went to her stock again to double check what else she needed. "Some more borage leaves might be good." She then turned to Stagrunner and gave a purr.
"Alright so some of these might be tricky. Some are located near or in the other clans if I can't find any on our border I might have to wait till the gathering to see if some of the other medicine cats wouldn't lending me some herbs," she said. She didn't like trespassing onto the other Clans even though it was for a good reason it was still not a good idea. And she didn't want to get Stagrunner or even Squirrelstar.

canarypawaccompanied by Squirrelstar | skyclan territory After two swift movements, Canarypaw had been dazed by Squirrelstar. There wasn't enough time for him to gather his bearings, not after being shamefully beaten by his mentor in a spar. Though it was an item to tick off his check list to becoming a warrior, it sure didn't feel like he was deserving of it. With Squirrelstar on top of him, he hissed and bit at the she-cat's shoulder.
"Thanks, Squirrelstar," he mewed nonchalantly, trying to hide the disappointment in his voice. He didn't want to admit how discouraged he felt about his performance, thanks to how shoddy he had done. His green eyes focused on the shaggy furred she-cat as she explained what he had done wrong throughout the spar. It was like being hit by a monster, he could feel all of the pride and disdain deflate from inside out.
"Guess I'll have to try it again the next time I train," he responded, carefully maneuvering himself when she slid her paws off of him. "I'll keep your techniques in mind. Maybe... maybe next time I'll stand a chance."
His cream ears twitched when she offered to do some more training. He didn't want to lounge in camp like a pathetic apprentice who couldn't take a beating. However, a hunt might get his mind off of his failed spar. "Mind if we hunt real quick? Unless you have somewhere to be," he asked the tortoiseshell. "I just wanna bring back some prey to camp." image source tumblr | ☾ѕησσzє☽

hazeltuftaccompanied by Lilacdawn | robin wing's crest Hazeltuft's ears twitched gently in surprise as Lilacdawn pressed her nose to hers affectionately. She quickly returned the gesture, purring heavily. "Looks like I'll have to warn all of SkyClan before the end up on a hunting patrol with you!" she teased before nodding in thanks at her friend's praise.
The brown tabby she-cat shook out her pelt, feeling some of the dry grass drop from it. She was unsure how SkyClan would fare throughout the drought, but hopefully they would pull through. She quickly angled her ears towards the golden feline, listening to her suggestion. Lilacdawn had a point; the area they were in was settled and they knew exactly where to hunt for prey. They would waste less time by getting their duties done now and hopefully take an extra piece of prey back to camp.
"You have a good point, Lilacdawn. I'm good with staying here and hunting again," she meowed, glancing around. "Sounds good to me! Just let me know what direction you're heading in and then we can meet back up here unless something else comes about." image source - unknown | 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢

Hickoryfoot | Off to hunt | 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 "Thundering Ridge would probably be the most interesting," Hickoryfoot commented. "Has some nice birds." Truthfully, that wasn't what she was thinking about. She enjoyed the idea of the nearby twolegs and the tiny thrill of the unknown that the place always gave her. The sound didn't bother her either, but she wasn't as aware of Bugstep's desire for quiet. That in itself was a bit surprising, but she didn't bother to think to much about Bugstep. Things, after all, couldn't be bad if he didn't speak up about it. That was how she viewed it. "How does that sound to you?" she inquired. More likely than not, she already had her thoughts set on the location. But her words still floated in the air if Bugstep actually wanted to respond to them.

Speckledcreek Nightpaw - Open // Skyclan Camp// The speckled tom finally got his rump out of his cozy nest he was finally ready to start his morning. As he stretched his legs he looked around the camp it was buzzing with life even though it was scorching hot. He gave a frown and hoped the heat wouldn't bother his training session with Nightpaw. The speckled tom decided to get himself something to eat before waking his apprentice up. He didn't want to be hungry and be distracted while trying to train. "That would be embarrassing," the tom said not really speaking to anyone. Once at the fresh kill pile he laid eyes on a small bird. He wasn't all too hungry plus he wanted to save the big prey for those who really need it.
As he was eating his bird he thought about what to do. He thought about taking Nightpaw hunting showing him his favorite tricks on catching prey. He also thought about taking her around the territory make an adventure with it, although when there's adventure there is also a danger. He figured they would be safe as long as they didn't venture too far from their territory.

"Hello," prompted a voice behind Speckledcreek. A tabby tom padded into sight, his eyes alight. Speckledcreek's clanmate stretched, claws extending into the hot earth. "Drought got you down?" Elmheart inquired. "Or just responsibilities?" The tom glanced this way and that, but still let his eyes shine with humor. There was really little to say on the matter, but there was a lot to be said about Speckledcreek's little glances. "Have you trained Nightpaw much at all?" Elmheart asked, tail twitching. He was mindful that Speckledcreek was eating and spaced his words out accordingly. He didn't want to appear rude to the other SkyClan cat. He just wanted to interact a little and see if he could make friendly conversation.

»𝕊𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣« »𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕊𝕜𝕪ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕟//ℍ𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕓𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕙 « It was the day after the gathering and the leader had slept pitifully the night before. She was now standing just outside her den, fur in a mess. She shouldn't address her clan like this but they needed answers before continuing about their day. She dragged herself up the tree and sat on highbranch, her weight causing it to swing from under her. Let's hope this maintains my weight, it would certainly be disheartening for me to fall from here.
"May all cats old enough to climb their own trees gather beneath the Highbranch!" The irony of the statement was not lost on her as she stood atop it. The clan would be angry, rightfully so, but she had to do what was in their best interest for the clan, even if it angered them so. As she waited for everyone to gather, her mind fluttered to when she was an apprentice. Would she be angry at Branchstar for making this call? I would call her out. So narrow sighted to the bigger picture. I do apologize for that Branchstar, I wasn't the most easy apprentice to deal with.
"As those who were at the gathering may know, I have a sad announcement." She called out, silently thankful her voice carried clearly throughout the clearing. She was sure it might shake. I am older now, more wise, stronger. I can do this. "Due to recent events our tree climbing has been put on a stall." She paused, wondering if she should put her plant into action already. "Today, I will be going to RiverClan with a few of you and asking for some territory so we may continue. Along with this, I will be pushing our border further into ThunderClan territory. If you are met with anger, do not throw the first claws. Tell the warriors we are a clan in need and if they wish to be neighborly, they will share." She hoped they would obey, she didn't want to start the fight. She swiped her tail, trying to silence any outcry. "That is all, continue about your business." She yowled, jumping down and making her way to her own deputy to tell her to set up patrols for the ThunderClan border, she will gather her own cats to meet RiverClan at their border.

L I T T L E D O V E { in camp w/ open }
Squirrelstar's call had caught a young she-cat's attention from where she sat by the warriors den. Having only exited it moments earlier, she hadn't noticed her leader in the clearing until a moment ago. Paws aching, the molly trotted slowly over to the Highbranch, settling underneath it rather quickly. Her fluffy tail swept around her and coiled tightly around her small paws, blue eyes bright and curious. The russet colored she-cat had dropped a bit of a bomb on the clan at the gathering last night, making the entire group of felines uneasy. Surely it seemed as if she didn't trust her own clan if she made decisions like this without discussing it with them first. Flicking an ear, Littledove willed her thoughts away so she could listen to what Squirrelstar had to say, hoping it would make sense to the tabby she-cat. The meeting was brief and only heightened her uneasiness. Normally the thought of expanding territory and hunting grounds made the warrior's claws ache with excitement, though she couldn't help but mull over the past days events. Squirrelstar stating their climbing would be halted in front of the other clans without discussing it with her own first, expanding territory on both borders yet not asking for a fight. It seemed like begging. It seemed weak. Frustration coursed through Littledove's veins, causing her to grit her teeth together. Despite her irritation, the Molly would never judge her leader's decisions, merely respect them, though she did wonder if the other clans thought they would be an easy target now. Eyes clouding with concern, she didn't move from her seat in the hollow as she got lost in thought.

Her mind wandered a bit before she made her final decision, searching through the many dens for the cats. "Sharppaw, Canarypaw, and Paleslip. You three will be joining me to meet with Riverclan, we will meet them by the border that way they don't think we are staging an invasion." She hoped the RiverClan cats thought more highly of her, though after the gathering their opinions might have shifted. Either way, she had a mission and she planned on getting it done today.
It would be nice to see Cloudstar too, away from the prying eyes of the other leaders. She had seen the she-cat as a mentor of sorts when she first became leader, having had no training before during her time as deputy. canarypawaccompanied by Squirrelstar, Paleship & Sharp-paw | campCanarypaw, as usual, was in a sour mood ever since his training session with Squirrelstar. What made it worse was his brother's, Bravepaw, tragic fall. It was safe to say he was beyond upset and it showed. When he heard his name called for a patrol to RiverClan, the tabby's ears twitched. He padded slowly over to his mentor and the forming patrol before letting out an exasperated sigh.
"What are we doing now? Begging for territory?" he grumbled, rolling his green eyes. He didn't really want to go anywhere, not with his littermate sitting in the medicine cat's den like Bravepaw probably would... for the rest of his life. The thought of carrying on with his own training and unable to have his sibling by his side stung. image source - tumblr | ☾ѕησσzє☽ , lazy penguin , & ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥

Sharppaw ☀☀✬☀☀
Sharppaw sat in his nest in the apprentices den, flattening his black fur, with his tongue. His ears swiveled to the entrance of the den, as he heard the voice of his leader, Squirrelstar. She was calling for Canarypaw, Paleslip..And Oh! He would be joining the group on a patrol to the Riverclan border. Excitement flashed in the little toms chest, and he hurridly gave himself a few more licks, before jumping to his paws.
Slipping from the den, keeping a calm and composed look on his face, Sharppaw padded up to his leader, dipping his head respectfully to the tortoiseshell tabby she-cat. He didn't speak though, and kept his large yellow eyes pointed down, avoiding looking at her. His mind wondered back to the night before, of the gathering. His fur prickled slightly, as he thought of his leader, telling everyone, that she had banned tree climbing.
Climbing trees was what made Skyclan, Unique. It was what they were known for the most. His heart sank, at the thought of it. He was a brand new apprentice, and hadn't even had the chance to be up in the trees or training among them. Now..Well, Now he wasn't going to get that chance. It made him feel like he wouldn't get the same kind of training, that every other apprentice and apprentice of the clan, had received. Would it put the newest apprentices behind in their training.? Would it take him longer to get his warrior name, now.?
"But think of poor Bravepaw." Sharppaw's stomach twisted, as he thought of the golden dappled apprentice, laying in the medicine cats den, with broken legs. He could never be a warrior again. Who knew if he could even survive this. Sharppaw twisted his face in frustration, at himself of course. He felt selfish, for being upset about the loss of tree climbing, when one of his own, was laying, injured. He made a note to himself that he would go and visit Bravepaw later, to give him an update about their patrol and see if he needed anything.

DRAGONFLYPAW & THEY/HE Skyclan Apprentice & Camp. Causing problems with Echopaw (Sand)
The young cat gave a dramatic meow at the thought of no climbing trees. SkyClan? Stripped of their pride? Ugh, the thought of it! He stick his tongue towards Squirrelstar (where nobody, hopefully, could see them. Ugh. That would be some talk) and went to lay somewhere near the apprentice den with a huff. After a few moments of just laying there, they extended their legs and yawned.
"I'm so boooooreeed. There's nothing for me to dooooooooo!" Complained the young cat, flipping onto his back to bask in the glorious, hot sun. The heat came down harsher than it needed for, since his pelt was black. But luckily, he and his coat were thin enough to not make it a problem. If only there was something for them to do!

echopawaccompanied by Dragonflypaw | camp Echopaw, as sad as he was about the no tree climbing ban, was concerned about Bravepaw's state. The last he heard was that the tom had two broken legs... which wasn't any good for a SkyClan cat. What would happen to him? The young apprentice didn't want to think about it. It was too bleak.
Thankfully, the little white tom spotted a familiar black pelt basking in the sun as he left the apprentice's den. His tall ears perked up with excitement and he bounded over to the other apprentice. "Dragonflypaw! Ohh, Dragonflypaw!" he squealed. One would think Echopaw's high pitched tone would hurt ears and they wouldn't be wrong. It was beyond excruciating. DRAGONFLYPAW & THEY/HE Skyclan Apprentice & Camp. Causing problems with Echopaw (Sand)
The young cat's ears twitched and flattened at the squeal, before rolling his mixed eyes and standing up. He, in a dramatic state, groaned so loudly that the ancestors could hear him from several thunderpaths away. He stuck his tongue out back at Echopaw.
"Echooopaaaw. Echopaw, Echopaw, Echopaw, Echopaaaawwwwwww." They pitched back before chuckling. "It's hot out here, ain't it. I'm so boooored, I have nothing to do. Do you wanna do something?" Their ears perked up a bit hopefully.

Breezesong Open // Robin Wings Crest ☀☀✬☀☀
The long furred silver tabby she-cat, crouched, gathering herself to pounce on a robin, as it pecked among the roots of the small gathering of trees. Her blue eyes narrowed slightly, as she kept completely still for a moment, calculating out her jump. With a mighty shove of her back legs, the molly leaped, flying through the air, in a swift moment. She landed square on the robin, smooshing its wings out, as she gave it a quick death blow.
Satisfied, the warrior picked up her prey, and padded towards a bush. She hid the bird among it, before going and sitting among the tangle of roots, where she had just made her kill. She purred softly, closing her eyes for a moment, to enjoy a quick breeze, that flowed through her fur. It ended, all too soon, to give way to immense heat. She groaned softly, Sick of the outrageous heat.
Was Starclan mad at the clans.? Were the clan cats being punished for something.? Why hadn't the medicine cats or leaders, heard from their ancestors. How long could they continue to live with this heat.? The questions continued to cross Breezesongs mind, as she sat there. They were questions, that she often thought about, but never said out loud. All she could do, was continue to hunt for her clan, and do her warrior duties. The medicine cat and Leader, would have to figure out the rest.
Rainsplash Open // In Camp ☀☀✬☀☀
Rainsplash sat up in his nest, surprise flittering in his one brown eye. He stood, and stretched out each of his legs, shaking slightly as he did so. The elder could hardly feel an ache in his joints. Echoflower had done as she had promised, and lined his nest with comfrey, for him to sleep with. It had actually helped him sleep through the night. Even given him relief from his achy shoulders, now that he was awake.
Giving a happy flick of his tail, the white and gray tom, slipped from the elders den, wondering what was going on in his clan. He had missed the gathering the night before, and was a bit curious as to what was going on with the other clans. His eye searched the camp, searching for a younger warrior or an apprentice, that would maybe share something to eat with him, and fill him in on the details of the other clans.

echopawaccompanied by Dragonflypaw | camp Echopaw rolled his odd colored eyes at Dragonflypaw once he had heard the feline's groan. He was tempted to call them out for their melodramatic actions, but held back, at least for now. Seeing their tongue, he returned the gesture and winked.
"Of course it's too hot! I wanna be in water or something, I bet RiverClan's enjoying the river!" the white tom commented, flopping down on the ground next to the black feline. "I'm trying to avoid Raggedfinch, but don't tell him! I wanna do something else besides training."
He put his tail across the other apprentice's maw before carefully drawing it away. "Sure! But what should we do? We can't climb trees, obviously," he mewed, appearing morose for a brief moment. "There has to be something we can do, right? Right?"

DRAGONFLYPAW & THEY/HE Skyclan Apprentice & Camp. Causing problems with Echopaw (Sand)
The black feline opened his maw for a second, about to suggest they do it anyways. However, they remembered the other apprentice who got really hurt climbing the dried out trees. Although it would be fun to break rules, getting injured would not be ideal. How would I explain that to Littledove?
"Eww, my fur would smell if it was all wet.." Dragonflypaw complained, making a face that screams disgust. They looked up towards the sky for a moment to think. "We could go do some one versus one training or hunting, but wouldn't need to get Raggedfinch and Littledove's permission for that? Would defeat the purpose of avoiding Raggedfinch if we need to ask them for permission." They sigh and shook their head, almost defeated looking. But Dragonflypaw never gives up hope. "Do you have any ideas?"

Darkstride Camp || Littledove dαιѕy Squirrelstars yowl brought Darkstride from the warriors den and into the main of camp. The curly furred leader had called for a clan meeting and the dark tabby could only assume that it had to do the the gathering from the night before. Finally an update to what was going on! Eager to hear what the molly had to say, Darkstride quickly moved forwards and claimed a spot next to Littledove. A small polite "Hello Littledove", escaped him as he settled in for the meeting. Casting his golden gaze upwards the tom listened closely to Squirrelstars words. To his surprise the clan leader planned on securing more territory for Skyclan. How could she expect another clan to just willingly give up territory during a time of drought? Ears flattened slightly the warrior knew that this meant war upon their neighbors. Squirrelstar was quick to finish and dismiss the clan, and Darkstride flexed his from legs forwards into a luxurious stretch. "Like Riverclan and Thunderclan or just going to willingly hand over a piece of land", he meowed to Littledove as she remained next to him. "We are going to have to fight tooth and claw to secure those lands. I hope Squirrelstar is not so nieve to think that we won't have to bloody our paws."

L I T T L E D O V E in camp with darkstride Darkstride's greeting caused the molly's ears to swivel his way, her gentle blue gaze turning to the tomcat as he settled down next to her, clearly eager to hear about the gathering. The Molly offered him a friendly smile, tail tip twitching in greeting as she listened to what Squirrelstar had to say. She had her doubts, of course, but she wouldn't go as far as to challenge their leader. Darkstride's words surprised her a bit, but they did hold a small truth. "RiverClan was looking a bit thin at the gathering," she mused lightly, curious now at Squirrelstar's plan. It didn't make sense to wander into enemy territory and ask them for land, perhaps she had a different perspective that Littledove couldn't see. Of course she does, she is a clan leader.. she thought momentarily, eyes brightening a bit. She turned to Darkstride, sinking her claws into the dry, cracked earth beneath her. "I don't know why she's moving the borders, but I agree. It'll certainly end in a battle, though I don't think Squirrelstar would lead us into one if she didn't believe we would win," the warrior pointed out, whiskers twitching softly in the hot wind. The thought of fighting made the young she-cat's claws itch with anticipation, though she didn't want to risk injuries if it wasn't worth it. Her blue gaze travelled across the thin bodies of her clanmates, worry tinging her mew as she spoke, "Although, we aren't as prepared for leaf-bare as we have been in past years. It'll be hard on every clan not having a bit of extra meat on their bones from a plentiful greenleaf." It came with a sigh, worry glimmering in her pale irises as she tipped her head at Darkstride, curious about his thoughts.

Darkstride Camp || Littledove dαιѕy The tom hadn't expected Littledove to engage into conversation, when she did Darkstride pull himself back to an upright position and looked at her. Her comment on how thin Riverclan warriors looked intrigued him, though sadly one look at his own self and clanmates it was obvious that the heat had taken its toll on them as well. "Sadly sometimes battles do not go as expected, though don't think I won't hesitate to have a good tussle with the other clans", he meowed making sure the molly understood that his loyalties to the clan were unwavering. "Its been a good while since I've seen any sort of excitement like that", he added crouching down and slowly stalking around Littledove with smooth pawsteps. Tail tip flicking playfully, the thought of battle had invigorated the warrior. The molly kept on about the upcoming leafbare, a looming future threat one they held in the back of their minds. Darkstrides paws brought him to the shecats backside and he carefully but firmly caught hold of her tail tip with one paw. "All the clan needs is one whole moon of constant plump prey and I think we will make it easily through leafbare." He vocalized, acting as if her tail was that juicy moon of plump prey. "Skyclan is stronger than all the other clans and you know it. We won't struggle through leafbare like Windclan does."

L I T T L E D O V E in camp with darkstride
Littledove would admit the tomcat had a point. At his statement of a fight, the warrior nodded and allowed her mind to wander a bit on the coming events. It was when Darkstride snatched her fluffy tail tip that she jolted to stare back at him. She had heard his words, though it did take a moment to process them fully. Shaking away her doubts, she shot him a friendly grin and nodded, flexing her claws once more. "I'm sure once leaf-fall begins there will be a short period of time where prey will be plentiful," she mused, though a bit of anxiety tinged her mew. The she-cat briefly worried for the clan's apprentices and queens, but decided being proactive was a much better solution. She lashed her tail away from him playful and swiped the tip across her denmate's nose, purring lightly. "Let's see if we can help, even if it's a little bit." With that, her pretty blue eyes flashed mischievously and she rose to her paws, stretching out each muscle. "How about we form a hunting duo, you and I?" she inquired, tipping her fluffy head to the side slightly. "No use standing around like a bunch of blind mice while we wait for the patrol to return. Let's catch some supper!" Lashing her tail with enthusiasm, Littledove began trotting to the entrance of camp, flicking her tail tip at the tom she'd been chatting with. "Darkstride! You coming?" she teased before picking up the pace and disappearing into the ferns, paws racing toward Robin Wing's Crest.

echopawaccompanied by Dragonflypaw | camp | mentions Littledove & Raggedfinch Echopaw loved to break the rules as much as Dragonflypaw did, but with Bravepaw's injury setting a tragic example... climbing trees was not the rule to break today. However, there were plenty of others to evade! He and Dragonflypaw would surely find something to do, he just knew it. It was only a matter of figuring out what.
"Well, would you rather be dying of heat or smell like fish?" the little white tom questioned, rolling his odd colored eyes at the apprentice's face of disgust. "I guess we would need their permission for that. I know I saw Littledove with Darkstride but I'm not sure where Raggedfinch is..."
He paused for several moments, running through some ideas in his head. They could try to get Raggedfinch to train them both since Littledove was busy. Or they could leave camp, just the two of them, and cause mayhem. Echopaw was leaning more towards mayhem, of course, but for good measure, he'd ask Dragonflypaw for their opinion.
"I guess we have two options. First one, we find Raggedfinch and ask him to take us out so we can train," he suggested before a mischievous glint rose into his eyes. The small apprentice lowered his voice, making sure no cat besides his denmate could hear. "Ooor we leave without him and do some training of our own! We could go wherever we want and no one would notice."

DRAGONFLYPAW & THEY/HE Skyclan Apprentice & Camp. Causing problems with Echopaw (Sand)
Although they were listening with keen interest, there was a loud, loud groan at the thought of a) smelling like fish and b ) asking their mentors for permission. C'mooon, they were going to be warriors of SkyClan! They probably wouldn't have enough time to screw around once they're old and grumpy. Having fun is the at least they can do before climbing to the very top of the clan. Hah. Like we would be leaders. That's a fun thought to entertain though.
His haunches wiggled a bit, a wide grin appearing on his muzzle as he chuckled. "Ohohoh, yes!" The cat whispered excitedly, kneading the dirt underneath him. "Finally! Something to do. Who's gonna notice two apprentices sneaking out of camp anyways? There's a lot of cats around." How about the fact you two are pure opposites of each other pelt wise?
