Softheather with Moorwhistle The queen dropped her head to rest on her paws. She kept a side-eye on Moorwhistle. She recognized that the tom was lost in his thoughts for a moment. It was relatable. There was... much to think about it especially with the coming moons. Although her and the senior moor runner might not be worrying about the same things. Softheather shifted over onto her side gently and made a slight face as she felt something kick at her internal organs. Quit it, she thought fiercely.
"Hm?" Softheather's attention fluttered back towards Moorwhistle. She titled her head, giving him a critical look for a moment before letting out a short, soft purr, "Good to hear," she chimed. She flickered her tail and resisted the urge to shift around again. She couldn't tell half the time if she felt antsy or uncomfortable. "The nursery? Being claustrophobic?" she huffed before flashing the tom an amused look, "You do remember that I am a tunneler," she pointed out, the dark of the small den didn't bother her. She liked being underground; however, being close to so many clanmates through the day was beginning to wear on her. Softheather was used to only having an tunneler at her side, opposed to two queens.

Furzepaw Adderslink & Swiftpaw
Furzepaw looked back towards Adderslink. His amber eyes brightened at his mentor's wink and he let out a soft purr before following Swiftpaw towards the outlook rock, knowing that younger molly wanted to lead the way. He was content to follow her and Adderslink's lead.
Nearing the location, Furzepaw titled his head towards Adderslink. His ears twitched as he listened attentively to what the mentor was telling him. He wrinkled his nose, he thought all prey was shy. His gaze strayed over towards Swiftpaw over Adderslink's back and noticed the molly's bored expression. He had to stifled a giggle that wanted to escape. Oh Swiftpaw, he thought fondly.
"We understand, Adderslink," the ginger apprentice reassured his mentor before getting into position. His amber eyes flickering towards the gray molly. He wasn't confident he would win but it would be fun to dart across the moor land and feel the wind blowing through his fur.
He watched Swiftpaw carefully in the corner of his eye. When he watched the tell-tale sight of her muscles tensing, he was ready to break out into a run almost an half-second after the younger molly. A laugh escaped from his mouth as his legs carried him after Swiftpaw. He was hot on her tail with the rock looming closer and closer as the two ran.

Nighthawk stopped, considering that. Well, it was true, wasn’t it? They knew they were probably being silly about the whole thing. They had trained to be a warrior, not an apprentice. Still, it was hard not to miss having a mentor. Being a warrior was scary. It meant there were more chances to mess up, more things that could go wrong. “Yes.” They said, nodding. “Training was good. I guess I’m just uncomfortable with being seen as an equal to cats so much older and more experienced than I am. I don’t feel like a warrior. I feel like something in between a warrior and an apprentice.”

Fleetfoot morelspots // headed to gorge Nothing made Fleetfoot happier than hearing Morelspots' defeat. Victory was now assured, nothing could possibly stand in his way or go wrong. He was the best hunter in all of WindClan - no, in every clan. Kits would be told stories of him for generations to come.
Fleetfoot had also mistimed his jump. Instead of grabbing an actual useful part of the rabbit, his jaws snapped on its leg as it attempted to jump away. The rabbit lashed around, and having heard tales of cats that were severely injured by rabbits, Fleetfoot let go and jumped backwards. The rabbit bounded away, along with Fleetfoot's dreams. He could only hope that it would be weak and another warrior would catch it. He looked back at Morelspots in embarrassment, unable to hold back a laugh when he saw the dirt in her pelt. "I thought you were above rolling around in the dirt, Morel," he teased, trying to gloss over the fact that he'd totally botched catching the rabbit.
Roseshine runningfire // windclan camp Roseshine gratefully accepted the first bite of the hare, though she tried not to take much - Runningfire was larger than her, after all, and she didn't want to be greedy. She thought for a moment about where the best places to hunt were - as one of the newest warriors, she felt like she had to prove herself to her clanmates. She didn't want them to still be thinking of her as a foolish apprentice. "Could we try near outlook rock?" She suggested. Roseshine been hunting there with Whitewhisp before, and even if it wasn't the best place, it was the only one she could think of right now. She waited, hoping that Runningfire would think it was a good idea.

windclan camp ; with jaggedclaw && cherrypaw;
“Jaggedclaw, are you stupid?”
Peonypaw let the question hang there; he had hit pause on the conversation so that it’s members could inspect it. They were film analysis students leaning in towards the screen. Eyes pressed against the pixels. Peonypaw held the silence as if he were waiting for his question to drop. He stares at the older warrior quizzically. He had seen him, sitting up there near the top of camp; a silent self-appointed sentinel. Peonypaw could have rolled his eyes. What a showman. He knew that Jaggedclaw was ogling the deputy position – and, granted, what senior warrior wouldn’t be? It was lucrative. Jaggedclaw was ambitious. Jaggedclaw also completely lacked the disposition to be deputy.
It’s ok, Peonypaw reassured the tom in his head. I don’t have the disposition to be deputy either.
The slender, light-hued tom turns to Cherrypaw. “Good morning, sweet Cherry! Beautiful day out, isn’t it? The wind is blowing, the sun is bright. So bright, it would seem that it has blinded Jaggedclaw to the fact that the fresh kill pile is three tail-lengths to his left.”
Peonypaw tilts his head in the direction of Moorwhistle and Softheather, the latter of whom had just eaten. The pile was small and scrawny, Peonypaw would give him that, but it was no need to snap at an apprentice. Granted, Peonypaw was used to being snapped at. Most cats targeted him for snapping, perhaps knowing that he would sure as StarClan snap back.
“And what are you even talking about? What would you have us do? We’re apprentices, Jaggedclaw, we can’t go traipsing around the territory alone. Do you want us to openly defy our mentors?”

The tabby scoffed at her empty response, letting out an annoyed chuckle. “Yeah, you say that, but doing better takes effort.” He muttered a few more words under his breath, but he seemed finished with the brunt of his ramblings. His silence, however, didn’t offer much of a breath of relief; as he continued closely behind his apprentice at a brisk pace, glowering more than usual. He was sure to keep track of how close they braved the other clan’s territory as they continued, him not being tremendously optimistic that Robinpaw could lead them well using whatever fragment of intelligence she only occasionally possessed. Stirring up trouble in Thunderclan was certainly not something he wanted to take responsibility for, even if his apprentice’s carelessness was to blame. (another short one for ya mint ;> ((also wb Leap! glad to hear you’re feeling a lil better man ^^))

pipitdashaccompanied by Gorsepaw, mentions Boulderpaw | leaving camp Of course he was sure that Boulderpaw was there. Thankfully for Pipitdash and her plans, she wouldn't have to worry about any distractions, and that included another apprentice. She rolled her yellow eyes at Gorsepaw before noticing he had no response to her glare. Typical! It's like my responses are going through his head without a second thought, she thought, trying to not get so worked up about it. She couldn't really help it though, Gorsepaw was testing her limits.
"You're a tunneler apprentice, Gorsepaw. What did you expect? Hunting is not fine and dandy for us," she quipped, amused by his huff. She remembered their hunting trip like no other as Pipitdash was able to grab a measly hare, but Gorsepaw, on the other paw... well, he stood no chance against the rodents.
Finally. It seemed like it took her apprentice moons to get to his paws. By the time they would make it out of camp, it would be sunset at this pace. The moment he brushed past her, the light brown tabby huffed and sprinted after him, nudging him aside as soon as she caught up to him. "Lead us to the tunnels!" she directed, flicking her tail in the direction of the tunnels. "If we aren't first today, you are cleaning the nursery out, you hear me?" she joked, smirking at the ginger tom. image source - pexels | Blaze ♡

Boulderpaw: Camp Open
Boulderpaw heard his name mentioned a couple of times and opens one eye. He noticed Pipitdash and Gorsepaw nearby and reasoned they must have mentioned him. He closes his eyes and curls up tighter into a ball. The tom didn't feel like getting up at the moment. Hopefully, his mentor wouldn't come looking for him until much later.
Although, he was feeling hungry and wouldn't mind eating something. Still, this position was comfortable and he lacked the resolve to uncurl himself. Tuning out his clanmates. Boulderpaw slowly starts to doze back off to sleep still hoping that no one would disturb him.

sparrowtuftaccompanied by Poppyshine, mentions Boulderpaw | camp Sparrowtuft spotted Poppyshine, who seemed to have been abandoned by Heatherblaze, Magpiechirp, and Silverswift. For whatever reason, the she-cat had been left behind which didn't seem fair to the moor runner at all. The white and brown tabby padded towards the grey and white she-cat, his tall frame slightly hovering over her. "Poppyshine, what're you doing over here alone?" he asked, tilting his head in confusion.
Ever since Teaselstar had returned from the Moonstone with Rabbitfoot, the clan had been a bit disorderly and chaotic. Things had evened out, thankfully, but there was still some cats sitting or wandering around, without a clue of what to do. I can't believe he didn't choose a deputy before resting, he thought bitterly. He has until sundown anyways. It's not like he'd forget.
Washing his unpleasant thoughts away, the white and brown tabby tom spoke again, his green gaze falling on Poppyshine. "I suppose you're not up to anything, are you?" he inquired, looking around to see if any cats were stuck in the same predicament. Boulderpaw was one, which left him to wonder where the apprentice's mentor was. Not my business... yet. image source - unknown | 𝐿𝑢𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑦 - - ★

Jaggedclaw Camp with Peonypaw and Cherrypaw 𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 The audacity of the smaller tom astounded Jaggedclaw, and if it wasn't for his experience he might have lost his temper right then and there. Hackles raised threateningly towards Peonypaw Jaggedclaw allowed a growl to escape him. "Watch your tongue when you speak to me, or I might be inclined to slice it out. I know Aspenrunner has taught you how to have atleast a simple respect for those older than you", the threat came out cold and calculated. Jaggedclaw was a cat of his word and every cat in the clan knew it. Casting a sideways glance to the pile he returned his glare to Peonypaw, Cherrypaw seeming to have faded from his fury. "And do you think that those measly scraps are enough to feed the elders and queens." He continued as if the threat had never came out. "That would barely sustain half of them through the day. This heat can be dangerous to the queens and especially the elders, they need to have what they need to sustain them or they risk not surviving something as simple as a drought." The majority of the toms anger had subsided, realizing how he made a simple mistake but that still did not excuse the young tomcat from dishing out such disrespect. "Now get off your lazy rump we're going hunting." Peonypaw would spend all day with him regretting his earlier statement. "Cherrypaw, seeing as your mentor is busy elsewhere, you will join us." Jaggedclaws attitude towards the shecat was much warmer but still firm to show he would not take no for an answer. Tail lashing the tom started for the camps exit. Escorting apprentices around all day was not what he had in mind but if it kept the clan fed Jaggedclaw would not hesitate to perform his duty to the clan.

adderslink- Blaze ♡ Tealraven Adderslink smirked as the two ran, and for a fleeting moment the smirk was something genuine (although the brown, long-tailed tabby wasn't willing to admit it.) There was something so simple about the simplicity of apprenticehood and the feeling of owning the world- a simplicity Adderslink had never quite known. It had slipped between his pawpads and was gone, into the whispers of night and only remembered by the moon's slowly-blinking eye. Adderslink slowly drifted his attention to somewhere else, but he caught himself before he completely lost sight of the at-hand situation, as a cat caught a shrew- simply and unemotionally, but with an odd sense of pity for the feeble creature. He opened up his mouth and tried to clear his throat. but he bit his own tongue as his mind reminded him: Kids can't focus if they're playing with each other. Even a moon-old cat knows that. And so, Adderslink quieted down, his eyes on the two apprentices as they bounded past him towards the granite monolith.

[ Sorry for the late responses! Been kinda all over the place past few days. ] Heatherblaze nodded her head in reply to Magpiechirp. Good. Seemed like she had her priorities straight and didn't dawdle on them. Personally Heatherblaze wouldn't have even brought up suggestions, but like before that other scent was just too weird not to bring up. But the rabbits were on her mind and she wanted them. She could worry about that other thing later. Maybe after she was done with this.
The light brown tabby continued to slither forward, quiet and light on her paws to not startle any of their targets ahead. She didn't even bother consulting Silverswift. They had majority rule, and the other moor runner could figure out for herself if she wanted to tag along with them or go off. Magpiechirp didn't seem to care, so neither did Heatherblaze. - - Poppyshine & Sparrowtuft // Camp - - [ Sand ] Her thoughts had drifted off, because Poppyshine didn't notice the tom until the last minute as he practically towered over her. The molly blinked a couple of times, her hazel eyes focusing back to reality, and looked up at the deputy. "Hiya Sparrowtuft!" She greeted in her usual chirpy voice. Her head tilted to the side at his question. "Oh? Well I wasn't alone that long ago. Heatherblaze and Magpiechirp and Silverswift went off to catch a bunch of rabbits." Poppyshine looked towards the direction the three had left prior. "I didn't join because I thought that might be too big of a group. Those buggers are fast ya know!" She looked back to the tom and smiled. That was her thought process at least, even if it wasn't exactly a complete thought. What she was actually thinking was that yes, rabbits are fast. But if there were too many cats going after them they might scatter.
Alright, probably not the most logical thought process. You would probably one more cats involved to be able to corner the rabbits a lot easier, but that's not really the focus right now. Her main reasoning was to leave her sister alone but that thought went elsewhere at the moment. The gray and white tabby shook her head to the next question. "Nope. Not doing anything right now." She mewed. Then a thought came to her mind. "Unless!" Poppyshine suddenly jumped to her paws. "You do have something in mind to do?" She asked excitedly. Finally! Something to do! But that was okay if there wasn't. She could think of something else. Probably.

sparrowtuftaccompanied by Poppyshine | camp In Sparrowtuft's opinion, Poppyshine's thought process was... irrational and scattered. But of course he wouldn't tell her that, he was a good deputy, an invulnerable, friendly one at that. It took him several moments to gather what she meant for it was a little muddled. He quickly followed her gaze and then back, as he came to understand her reasoning. Guess that makes sense, he thought to himself before giving the grey and white tabby a nod. "Rabbits? They're faster than us, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean we don't try catching them!" he mewed, sounding quite lively. He could see the moor runner's point though, sometimes more than three or four cats made for a poor decision instead of a successful one.
Of course that decision was up to Poppyshine, whether she wanted to join Magpiechirp's hunting patrol or not. It was clear to him that the she-cat chose to not go, for whatever reason. He didn't find it to be worth his time to investigate or pour attention into it, so the white and brown tabby tom moved on. As he was about to suggest an idea to the moor runner, she was already on her paws and ready to go. At least she's eager, he mused, purring in amusement.
"Actually, I do, if that's okay with you?" he inquired, his green gaze veering to the camp entrance. "I don't think any patrols have gone to the RiverClan border today. Might as well mark the borders while Teaselstar's still resting. I know he'd want things to continue on like normal."
The tom took a moment to breathe, letting out a soft grumble due to the sun beating down on them. He despised the heat as much as any cat did in this drought. It didn't help that it was getting worse by the day. "So, what do you think, Poppyshine? Think we should bring some cats along or go as is?"

"I'm sure you're not alone in that," assured Mintface. "It happened for me when I first became a 'paw. And again when I got my name. It's all a process. You'll work out your place." Their voice was as reassuring as they were able to make it. With a flick of their ear, the queen stood and stretched. "Any ideas about making friends? It's usually easier working things out if you have someone around to bounce ideas off of." Their tail flicked. They were willing to listen, of course, but they doubted that the shy Nighthawk would consider them a friend. Maybe with time ...

She wished she could steer them into ThunderClan, just so Aldertail could have something to actual complain about. But he'd noticed. She'd work out something better. Instead, walking through these dark tunnels at a slightly slower pace seemed her best bet. If Aldertail was going to grumble, he'd just have to grumble. Robinpaw was met with another turn off, but ignored it. Another and she ignored it. At the third, she finally took the turn. At least some of her landmarks had turned up again. Slight faults in the tunnel under her feet, a chink of light there. It took another minute, but she didn't make another mistake. Instead, she found the mouth of the tunnel that led them out and she slowly walked toward the light. She squinted. After so long in the dark, it was hard to get used to the sunlight again. She'd have to eventually though. Aldertail might just complain or something if she didn't move. Whoopy. She wondered if he'd notice if his next rabbit was rubbed with yarrow.

apologies for the late starters, everyone! i've had some difficulty getting motivation the past few days- my mental health isn't the greatest. but here i go, feel free to respond whenever or with whatever characters! ] Dustrunner | WindClan Camp | @ no one yet
Sunlight glowered down on the ground, already warming the soft soil. Dustrunner held in the urge to pace, his tail twitching at his side. He sat, still and observing, as some other cats chattered and went about the camp. Anxiety brewed in his stomach, feeling like he had eaten an entire stormcloud. He wanted to speak to someone, perhaps get on a patrol, but found he was unable to get words out. He didn't want to bother them.. and what if the patrols were already full? He'd hate for them to go through trouble to find a place for him. But the warriors were kind, most of them anyway... What harm could asking do? Or he could go find Sparrowtuft, surely his brother would find a job for him. But Sparrowtuft is deputy... surely he's much too busy for me, of course.. Dustrunner heavily sighed to himself. He got to his paws, scraping dirt over a small field mouse he had taken a few bites of earlier. The gnawing thoughts in his mind filled his stomach with dread, rather than food. It might be best if he just went out on his own.. No one should mind, right? He flicked his tail, pausing to stare at the ground. Looking up at the other cats talking, he padded lightly by them, making his way towards the exit of camp.
Blossompaw | WindClan Camp | @ no one yet
The light had barely reached the corner of the apprentice's den, where a ball of white and cream fluff was curled up. Blossompaw's side raised and lowered rhythimically, and her green eyes gently closed. While her body rested, her mind wasn't too far away. She dreamt of foggy landscapes, running across lush fields, and rolling in their soft flowers. Purring quietly to herself, her dreams brought her to a quiet little den. The den looked almost like a strange, distorted version of the medicine cat's den, but she didn't mind. There was so many scents in the air, Blossompaw twitched her whiskers in happiness. Bright yellow flowers sat at her paws, and they smelled so sweet. Marigold? She believed she had heard Rabbitfoot call it that once. It was so pretty, and smelled nice, and, and- well she wasn't sure what it did, but it had to be good! She turned to see strange-shaped leaves, and other flowers she had never even imagined before. They were so strange, but interesting. She felt one of the leaves, it felt so soft and weird. It had a pale color to it, and it was like a layer of kitten fuzz all over it. She wondered what kind of leaf it was. Maybe I should ask Rabbitfoot.. As soon as she thought that, though, rabbits started running inside the den from outside. She was surprised, as the den began filling up with hares and rabbits of all colors and sizes. They ran inside without any fear, until the den was filling up with rabbits, on top of each other and even around her paws. She inhaled but coughed, her mouth full of the rabbit's fur as they surrounded her. She was going to drown in rabbits! She moved her legs, but it was as if she was now frozen. Her eyes squeezed shut, and then she opened them, a loud yell leaving her mouth as she finally found her breath.
" Help! Please! Help me! " She gasped, finding herself in her nest in the apprentice's den. Heavily breathing, she felt some moss sticking to her muzzle. Embarrassment prickled her skin, making her feel warm. Someone could have heard that... She hoped not! Then she'd have to explain why she was yelling. She let out a gentle sigh, resting her head on her paws. She had to get up soon, but sleep still pulled at her eyelids... Maybe just a few more minutes... Her eyes fluttered shut, and she began drifting off to that warped den once again...

back at the barnyard ; with doveheart && chickadeesong;
Nettlefrost liked to insert himself into places he did not belong; it was his thing, but it was annoying, but frankly Nettlefrost did not care if he annoyed his clanmates because he was the epitome of your typical infuriating yet still boring warrior. He was a trope that has been used too many times before. He is a flirt and a womanizer in a forest, and moor, and swamp, for that matter, that has too many womanizers and not enough women to go around. We can imagine, here, that Nettlefrost has already sired a litter. If a queen were to appear from the jowls of StarClan, suddenly, and everyone simply pretended they had been here the whole time, we can also pretend that Nettlefrost was her mate. And by mate, I mean that Nettlefrost trotted around her like a show-horse and then she miraculously became pregnant by the power of his sputtering ego. Jaegerwing is already a flirt. Thymesong is already proud. Nettlefrost is a useless conglomeration of pixels that is taking up too much cognitive capacity and he knows this; in his soul, which they say is code for his metaphysical fourth-wall-breaking writer, he knows this.
And so, without any backstory or build up, or any inspiration other than it suddenly comes to him, like a flash of heat-lightening in the night, Nettlefrost decides that he wants to go to the farm. There are cool things on the farm. There are pigs, there are horses, and there are, most importantly, cows. Lots of cows. Lots of cows with the ability to run, and with hooves, which smoosh down the grass as they stampede. How convenient, that these lumbering and crushing beasts ventured so close to WindClan territory. How unfortunate, as well.
The tom got up from wherever he was idling in camp, paying no attention to the chatting queens and a warrior and an apprentice practically going for the throat, and dashed out of camp. On his way to the farm, he bumped into a patrol. Who was on this patrol, you may ask? Well, it was only two cats, so it was barely a patrol, but to add some vinegar to Nettlefrost’s character, let’s pretend he’s really stupid and thought that a patrol could be two cats.
“Hey!”, he yelled at the two cats, Doveheart and Chickadeesong are their names, and he knows this, because they are in the same clan and have probably interacted before this moment. “Hey losers! Are you headed to the farm?”

windclan camp ; with softheather;
“Oh, yes, of course I remember. But, I suppose we moor runners cannot… intuitively appraise how the nursery must seem to you”, Moorwhistle relaxed, his whiskers twitching gently with amusement. “My mate, when she was pregnant with Nettlefrost and Morelspots, went nuts in the nursery. It was too small, there were too many queens. We went on walks three times a day. She was a moor runner though. Couldn’t stand being in a tight space.”
Moorwhistle learned back on his haunches, eyes drifting towards the sky, towards the few clouds dappling the horizon, implying nothing but more heat. The tom profoundly felt the absence of rain. All this conversation felt the absence of rain. Worry spread through his body like fire overtaking a territory it had already claimed. Moorwhistle was often lost in worry. Always outside himself. Softheather had taken notice, he was sure, of how distant he was today. Engaging in conversation and yet, not in it. He was in a hundred other places, most of them in the past. Some of them in the imagined future. Only one of them was now. It was smothered by the others.
“So, if you ever need to stretch your legs for a while, I can be your guy.”
The tom let out a soft, joking brurr, waving his tail just slightly.

𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ and @tealraven- doveheart ('back at the barnyard' heehee i see what u did there) Just as she pushed one of the fence's planks inward- creating the perfect spot to slip through to retrieve the bell- oveheart saw a gray tabby appear on the horizon. He was walking briskly towards them, certainly- at least to Doveheart- a man on a mission. "Hello!" she exclaimed as he drew closer, innocently waving her tail, her eyes wide with cheer. The insult the tom slipped through his teeth didn't faze her- her naïveté had deafened her to it. "Me and Chickadeesong are here so we can find trinkets to collect!" She tilted her nose towards the glistening bell in the pasture, its golden hue almost sickening in the morning sun. "Like the bell over there. I was just about to get it, actually." She tilted her head eagerly to the side. "Care to join us? Trinkets are lots of fun to keep!"

( hi everyone! Today’s our gathering (it’ll last all day long), so for those of you who can participate, feel free to poof your characters back to camp. Since Leap can’t attend, I’ll be leading WindClan to the gathering. Like Blaze said before, once the gathering’s over, you can either start your rps anew or continue with what was going on before. )

Gathering day… sparrowtuftaccompanied by everyone | tallrock, late eveningAfter Teaselstar had returned from the Moonstone with Rabbitfoot and named the clan’s new deputy, Sparrowtuft was told to gather the cats for the gathering. It seemed that Teaselstar had fallen ill, and it was best for him to not attend. With the new leader out for the gathering, the newly named deputy was going to take WindClan to the four trees.
”All cats gather around Tallrock!” he announced, standing on top of the boulder.
He took a moment to breathe before running through the names of the chosen cats in his head. Hopefully the gathering would go well without any issues. Things had been relatively peaceful since Teaselstar became leader and Sparrowtuft saw no reason as to why that would stop.
While cats began to gather, he began speaking. ”Tonight will be the first gathering since Teaselstar became leader. Unfortunately, he can not attend as he is ill,” he explained. ”Instead, Rabbitfoot and I will lead WindClan to the gathering. For those of you that are going, I suggest we be cautious on our way to the four trees. The rest of you that are staying, keep an eye on the camp entrance.”
He paused briefly, letting out a sigh. ”Rabbitfoot, Coyotefall, Shyrabbit, Silverstone, Honeystep, Sagefoot, Tangleclaw, Junipertoe, Patchthroat, Sootear, Merlincatcher, Fleetfoot, Vulturefoot, Aspenheart, Dustrunner, Jaggedclaw, Morelspots, Runningfire, Ashpelt, Viperstrike, Aldertail, Silverswift, Heatherblaze, Magpiechirp, and Crowfrost,” he called each cat by their name. ”You will be attending the gathering. As for apprentices...”
Another pause. ”Cherrypaw, Thinpaw, Hornetpaw, Robinpaw, Boulderpaw, Rosepaw, and Swiftpaw. You all will be attending as well.”
The deputy waited for the cats to move about and organize themselves. He wasn’t going to rush his clanmates along since he decided to relay the information earlier than Dawnstar had in the past... well, before she had died. That would be news at the gathering for the other clans.
”Once everyone is ready, we will take our leave,” he declared. image source - unknown | for the entire clan
