Heya Inky! I'll have that starter up by tomorrow, so sorry for the delay and I hope you can forgive me once again for my absence.

Ruin casually sucked in another breath of lung - coating smoke, watching the dark substance pan out in inky black swirls with eyes that portrayed the potency of the moon, an abnormal bright, gleaming silver glazed thickly with his boredom. Twirling the smoldering orange bud between nimble fingers that suited a pianist, he shifted into a more visible position against the outside the building he was currently leaning against, enough to where he could peer around the corner and anyone wandering the dark streets would be in line of sight. Not that it was necessary with his impeccable hearing, just another advantage to being an unworldly occupant he supposed, lips forming a small grin at the thought. Brushing off any stray evidence from his jeans, he ran the same hand through his equally ink-black hair, sifting the softly tousled locks back out of his face and exhaling the last of his cigarette. He tossed the finished end into a nearby trash. Languidly pushing off the cold brick wall, Ruin slipped back on to the sidewalk as if he were one of the shadows he’d been concealed with and continued his venture home.
As he ambled by the street he started to whistle, a low melodic tune that bounced off solid walls as he passed, the echo's slicing through that heavy silence only nights seem to carry. After a visit with the President one would think he'd be a bit more tense, with nerves fried and relief evident in his posture, yet Ruin proceeded down the empty sidewalk with the most casual of stances, hands buried in his pockets and shoulders rolled back. As though everything in the world was perfect and he possessed no worries or problems. Dressed in a simple gray T-shirt that hugged his toned chest and some plain black jeans, he didn't appear to be anything but a young man around the age of 22, having slipped out of his business attire as soon as he was free of the responsibility of attending the meeting. Veering to the left in a narrow black alley way, he entered the small, confined area without a second thought, wrinkling his nose a bit at the sickeningly sour smell that occupied the dank place but continued deeper with the same easy going pace. The whistling had halted though and his demeanor no longer oozing nonchalance. The longer he walked the more tense he became, the unmistakable sense of foreboding smothered the cool night air and caused the hair on his arms to rise. Something's off. Instead of slowing down as one would most likely do Ruin quickened his pace, hands now visible and fingers curled. Wait, he almost faltered, the undeniable tang of blood flooding his senses. Oh wonderful He groused internally, immediately moving to a sprint as he followed the scent.
