Pen Lu the avatar (group 1)
words here Pen Lu stuff WIP blurb: A 15 year old boy that grew up in an orphanage in Ba Sing Se, he’s fairly optimistic and cheerful, and extremely curious as well, and being as curious as he is, he’s been known to get into trouble as well, though he doesn’t mean to. Pen Lu is also extremely naive and gullible and would probably believe anything you told him, he tends to see the good in people before the bad and gets extremely stubborn in his beliefs, making it hard to reason with him once he has his mind set on something. Despite being a rather emotional boy, he doesn’t like to talk about his emotions with others because he doesn’t want to become a burden weighing them down, and with a bit of a problem saying no to people, Pen Lu often takes on more responsibility and problems than he can manage and tires himself out from it. He also has a tendency to get a little over excited with things and doesn’t usually think things through before diving headfirst in, which has definitely caused him some problems in the past. He’s rather sensitive and insecure as well and generally just??? Doesn’t want to disappoint people, even though he feels like he probably will, sooner or later. He’s mastered earthbending by now but as he isn’t aware that he’s the avatar, he hasn’t mastered any other elements. Currently, he’s friends with Yuze but is open to more friends
Sairen firebender (group 2)
words here Sairen stuff WIP blurb: At 17 years old, this firebender girl has fully mastered her element, she and her twin (Kotam) are children of the fire/water alliance, with their mother being Asone the current Fire Lord and Konren, the younger brother to the previous avatar. Both Sairen and Kotam were raised to be strong fighters, good diplomats, and eventually take over the alliance, due to this Sairen spent most of her time training instead of with other kids her age, other than Kotam of course and tends to appear a little awkward when she’s trying to simply “be herself”, and though she’s typically a bit more out together than her twin, Sairen is easily offended when people don’t take her seriously and will respond by causing some chaos for the person in question. Sairen also has a rather soft side for animals and actually stole a baby dragon recently that she named Comet, naming him after the comet that allowed the alliance to pull further ahead in the war. She’s rather arrogant and prideful in her abilities and though she feels a connection to water due to her father, she still firmly believes that fire is the best element. Sairen also enjoys teasing others, especially when she knows she can rile them up. She’s a heathen.
Raozu nonbender (group 2)
words here Raozu stuff WIP blurb: A 16 year old nonbender, Raozu is cousins to Sairen and Kotam on their mother’s side. His parents (with his father being the younger brother of Asone) recently died about two years ago, leaving him under the care of his aunt and uncle. Raozu is a bit moody and doesnt really talk to the others very often. He feels like he was born a failure when compared to the many powerful benders in his family and he recognizes that he probably won’t ever amount to anything anyways, so why try? Snappy and rude, Raozu isn’t here to make friends and is more likely going to offer some sort of sarcastic, dry answer instead of actually be helpful. A master at getting on people’s nerves though, Raozu is always there to offer a pessimistic view on whatever situation you’re in and rain on your parade. Being more brains than brawn, Raozu isn’t very good in a fight, however he can offer up a plan if ever needed, it should also be noted that while he can’t physically fight, he’s really good with throwing knives and had mastered that art.
Neshi airbender (group 3)
words here Neshi stuff At 14, this airbender girl is a tiny ball of energy and mischief, Neshi grew up as part of the wandering air nomads that left the temples before they were attacked, leaving her, her family, and the other wandering airbenders as some of the last airbenders in the world. Of course, the temples were attacked well before Neshi’s time, however her grandmother, Nerri, will often tell stories about what it was like to her and her many cousins. When it comes to describing Neshi though, the best way to do it is gremlin, she’s short, small, and spunky with endless optimism to last for days on end, however she’s also rather mischievous and finds way too much pleasure in getting into trouble and pranking other people, she lives life to its fullest and is pretty much just here to have a good time. Neshi rarely takes anything seriously and has an even harder time acting like she’s taking anything seriously. She just? Doesn’t wanna focus on all the negativity in life even though it’s not hard to find and would rather offer up some laughs and a have a good time instead. It should also be noted that she travels with a rather fuzzy female sky bison named Puff and a small, grumpy, male, ring tail winged lemur that she has named Nion.
Side characters: •Konren Water tribe general, father to Sairen and Kotam, husband to Asone, and younger brother of Avatar Matilik (dead) •Nerri Grandmother to Khandro, Neshi, and Geshi, remembers the air nomads before they were destroyed, is the matriarch of her colony •Geshi Cousin to Khandro and Neshi, he’s really immature and naive

CreamCrow's Characters // To Be Added on Over Time
Ziro 16 years old // Female (she/her/they/them) // Panromantic Asexual // Nonbender // Group 1
#d1a3be // #22151c
Ziro was born in the Fire Nation and, while she doesnt live in the capitol, she does live in a fairly busy city. This is due to the fact that Ziro was born into a performative family and performance needs an audience. Ziro specializes in dancing however, having taken an interest in the performative art since a young age. Her parents have only encouraged that, taking to help her become more in tune with music and different kinds of dances found throughout the Fire Nation. This encouraging mentality helped encourage Ziro's attitude in life, creating a positive, optimistic view for the future. Her viewpoints on situations are often very influenced by dance and the portrayal of such activities. She finds herself to be a very social person when it comes down to things though and is willing to talk and talk and talk talk talk. She very willing to make friends with people. Despite her love of her home in the busy city, Ziro isn't very focused on the politics going on around the world and thus wants to explore one day. She wants to visit the world in an attempt to learn styles of dancing from the other nations and the only way to do that properly would by to go to those places. All she's waiting for is an opportunity.
Unnamed mother, unnamed father, possible siblings. Open to family, friends, relationships. - Ziro nonbender // group 1 // she/her // 16
okay! let's go! text. "speech." think.
Kotam 17 years old // Male (he/him) // Gay // Waterbender // Group 2
#d94c4c // #f1fbfd Kotam is a child born of the Fire Nation and the Northern Water Tribe. Being apart of the alliance was destined for him since birth. Sure, it helped that there was really no exaggerating. His mother, Asone, is the Firelord and his father, Konren, the brother of the previous Avatar of the Northern Water Tribe. It wasn't a marriage of love, rather of political intelligence to bind the two nations together. Of course, this does make him a prince of the Fire Nation, though the likelihood of him ever really being considered to be the Firelord when his mother passes is unlikely, given Kotam inherited waterbending powers. Of course, this hasn't been too much of a problem for him thus far, seeing as he has mastered the element of water. Alongside this, he is highly efficient with both water tribe and fire nation weapons, even quite adept at fighting without a weapon. He's been raised to diplomatic and intelligent and charismatic. Now, those things Kotam is, as long as you you don't apply them to close personal friendships. He's unaccustomed to dealing with others his age a lot of the time, and it doesn't translate well. He's comfortable with very few people, Sairen, his twin sister, absolutely taking top spot. Most other people end up in a category Kotam likes to call "I'll interact with you if I need to." Which fits almost anybody in that Kotam sees himself above. Which is a lot. The fact he has so much pride in his heritage, that he knows how skilled he is, and how people will often underestimate him led to him enjoying the fact that people would underestimate him only for him to demolish them in chaos afterwards. It's the idea of proving someone wrong. But by all accounts, Kotam is a bit of a doofus at times. He likes to joke about the fact that his sister has a pet dragon, one of the original firebending masters, and yet he, a waterbender, was stuck with the moon. Under the disbelief that he couldn't have a pet moon, he recalls the day where his sister handed him a rock, claiming it to be part of the moon. He wears the rock even now, a little crescent shaped thing, around his neck on a long necklace, affectionately having named it Lunatic. On the matter of pets, however, Kotam has stolen a snow leopard caribou from the Southern Water Tribe, a darling girl named Mura.
Twin sister is Sairen. Mother is Fire Lord Asone. Father is the former Avatar's brother, Konren. Uncle, aunt, and cousin are Tokeem, Erele, and Raozu. Has a snow leopard caribou named Mura. Open to friends, relationships.
- Kotam waterbender // group 2 // he/him // 17
okay! let's go! text. "speech." think.
Hayo 18 years old // Female (she/her) // Unsure // Earthbender // Group 3
#0c9057 // #2c1300 When Hayo was younger, under the age of three, Hayo was living closer to the front lines of the war on behalf of the Earth Kingdom. Her mother was a front line fighter in the war and her father was unavailable to take care of his daughter. Around the age of three, Hayo's life changed though. Her mother, Namah Kang, was excused from the front lines and offered a home in the upper ring of Ba Sing Se, where she brought her toddler daughter along with her. Hayo's father, Ramu, did not come along, and Hayo didn't learn about why until recently. Between that time though, Hayo was surrounded by adults whose hushed whispers Hayo could still hear about the Alliance and the monsters that lived under it. It developed a bias for Hayo against firebenders and waterbenders both. Having spent her childhood constantly asking her mother where her father was, the combination of two traits led to a seething hatred of the alliance when Hayo discovered her father was very likely dead, killed by the alliance. The reason Namah Kang was allowed entrance into the upper ring of Ba Sing Se had to do with the fact her father was something of a secret hero, having been one of the earthbending men to have killed the previous avatar who had worked with the alliance. Her mother told her this and Hayo became determined to find the new avatar before the alliance could think of finding him first then. In doing so, she stole a ostrich horse named Gyivoh and brought along a pygmy panther, Nali, that she had taken in when younger and exploring the lower rings of the city and set off. She left her mother a note behind and left. She's very limited in her views and opinions and it would take a lot to convince her to trust water or firebenders. Her determined attitude makes her far more serious and strict that what she thinks she is. It's not too far off when it comes to it though.
Mother is Namah Kang, father is Ramu. Has a pygmy panther named Nali and an ostrich horse named Gyivoh. Open to family, friends, and relationships. - Hayo earthbender // group 3 // she/her // 18
okay! let's go! text. "speech." think. Firelord Asone 45 years old // Female (she/her) // Bi // Firebender Firelord of the Fire Nation, married to Konren, mother to Sairen and Kotam, aunt to Raozu.
Namah Kang 42 years old // Female (she/her) // Pan // Earthbender Mother of Hayo, was married to Ramu. Formerly a direct soldier in the war against the Alliance. Now lives in the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se as a noble.
Ramu 40 years old // Male (he/him) // Bi // Earthbender Father of Hayo, was married Namah Kang. Helped to assassinate the previous Avatar. Has not been seen by the Earth Kingdom since. Status unknown.
