Introduction There was something sharp in one of your paws but you didn't have time for that now. You had to keep going, even as your lungs screamed out for oxygen. Running was your only option. You didn't know what would happen if you stopped but something deep and instinctual within you whispered that death would follow soon after. The undergrowth was denser here, harder to navigate - especially in the dark. Even your superior feline eyesight couldn't seem to adjust to this amount of shadow or maybe you were just running on too much adrenaline. A snap behind you sent a bolt of fear straight to your heart. Willing yourself to move faster, you ducked under a gooseberry bush, some stray spines catching onto your fur. Letting out a whimper full of both fear and pain, you try to extract yourself from the fruit-bearing plant, desperate to be away from the... creature chasing you. The rustle of underbrush in front of you turned your blood to ice in your veins. Frozen in terror, your wide eyes locked on a cat-like thing. It padded towards you leisurely, as though it had all the time in the world. Its fur was as dark ginger but it's eyes... they were pitch black. As it grew closer you realized what you thought had been tall ears were actually short horns atop the beast's head. Unable to move, you let out a loud scream. The creature merely smirked at you. "Found you, little rabbit," it purred, revealing itself to be feminine of nature - at least to your ears. Her inky eyes bore into you, sending shivers racing down your spine. Desperation drove you to struggle violently against the bush, claws flashing in the light as you dug into the ground. The spines dug into your skin and the smell of blood wafted into the air. "How delicious you smell," the monster cooed, stepping closer to you while scenting the air. Crying out, you finally were able to tug yourself free of the gooseberry bush your eyes searched wildly for some sort of escape route. "Now, no-" but before the thing could continue whatever it was about to say there was a flash from out of the bushes, and a cat launched itself at the creature. The creature snarled and turned to meet it, wrestling the smaller feline to the ground. "Hey, civilian, get moving. They'll take care of the demon," a voice from your left barked, startling you. With a gasp, your head whipped around to find another cat waiting impatiently in a small opening in the thick brush you hadn't noticed before. They gave a sharp jerk of their head, clearly commanding you to follow them. Did they say demon? Unwilling to stay near the large horned creature, you rushed after the irritated feline. "So you do have a brain? I'll take you back to camp so our medicine cats can look at your wounds, otherwise, you'll attract even more trouble," the cat snorted, shaking their head before casting you a side glance. Your heart was still racing in your chest and your legs shook with every step but you forced yourself to continue on. "Wha-what was th-that?" you demanded finally. The muscular feline leading the way paused, turning to cast you an analyzing glance before flashing a large, slightly terrifying grin. "Just another day in paradise. Welcome to HallowedClan, kid." About We are no ordinary clan. We are quite unusual actually and knows about topics most other cats dismiss as fantasy and myth. Not our clan, we know it's all real. Demons and monsters? They exist in our world and they are pure chaos and creatures of darkness. But that's why we train, that's why we hunt. We work and risk our necks so that the world is a safer place, at least in our little corner. We live by a code of honor that binds us together tighter than any demon could ever hope to unravel. Life for us isn't always rainbows and butterflies but we do what we have to in order to survive. Welcome to HallowedClan, keep your claws sharp but your wits sharper.
HallowedClan cats come from all walks of life, seeing as years ago they were two clans and some rogues, merging together to create one group. A great mixture of fur colors, lengths, and textures can be found here. It is rarer to see smaller built cats, as they don't often survive the rigorous training and hunting that take place. Most cats are muscular or agile with strong legs and long tails for good balance. Scars are extremely common in the clan and are worn as badges of honor and pride, even seen as a mark of beauty. It isn't rare to see a cat with a necklace, as warlocks wear amulets strapped with vines to show which animal spirit they are bound to.
Weapons: - Silver Claws - these are caps that cats wear on their claws. Coated in blessed water. They are made by exorcists with their ability to shape metal. - Blessed Water - water blessed by StarClan. This is carried in capsules that can be worn around a cats neck or is used as a coating. Exorcists and Medicine Cats can both produce blessed water. - Silver Fangs - these are more rare, as they are harder to apply and more permanent. Made by exorcists. - Abilities - this varies depending on the cat. Genetic or blessed. - Iron Claws - useful against enemies that aren't effected by silver. Made by exorcist.

History Years ago, there lived two clans, one that made their home in the forest and the other made their home in what is now the Amber Desert. The two got along for many seasons in harmony, until the demons came. They wreaked havoc between the clans, pitting the TimberClan and SandClan against one another and later starting a vicious war. These battles were bloody and violent, leaving few unscathed. In the end, both clans suffered huge losses, so large that barely ten cats remained in either clan. Hickoryspark, deputy of TimberClan, and Redwind, the medicine cat of SandClan were the only two higher-ranking cats left and as they stared at what remained of their clans, the two realized the mistake the war had been. StarClan wasn't appeased by their simple realization and a mere apology couldn't soothe their wrath. A terrible earthquake shook both territories and the nearby twoleg town, which was quickly deserted. After the end of this disaster, the two clans were forced to work together to rebuild, settling in a makeshift home in the shrublands. Their peace didn't last long, however, as a rogue group showed up, claiming to be mercenaries. They hunted creatures that the broken clan cats had only just begun to discover were real. An uprising or strigoi and demons sent them running from their home and luckily the mercs helped them find a safe place to make a more permanent camp, a large twoleg building made from stone. The rogues explained that the building was made on hallowed ground, which made it impossible for full-blooded demons and strigoi to enter. The clan cats begged the mercenaries to stay and a few did decide to stay, helping to train them in the way of monster hunting. StarClan approved of this new direction, as it was keeping the clan safe, so they awarded the clan with more gifts, like blessed water, special abilities, and amulets that gave them certain gifts. One of the mercenaries, a huge tom named Flint, became the first new leader of HallowedClan. He was awarded the name Flintstar and given his nine lives. His reign was a prosperous one as the clan settled into their new home, scoping out new spots within the territory to call home. Redwind was given the ability to call the deceased back from the grave and speak with them directly and all medicine cats after her were also blessed with the gift. Hickoryspark was made General and helped improve relations between benevolent ghosts and the clan. Soon enough hybrids began popping up with the clan, half-breeds between monsters and cats. They were treated differently depending on what they were mixed with but most fight for and believe in equal rights, especially since being a hybrid can aid in being a better mercenary. Territory & Camp HallowedClan's camp is set up in an abandoned church, which has two floors and a small loft. The main floor is the main hub of camp and where everyone sleeps, aside from the mothers and their kits. Otherwise, the clan sleeps in clusters across the floor and pews, making nests wherever they choose to. This encourages closer bonds between the clan and families. The prey pile rests in the far corner, about two tail-lengths from the large stone alter, White Stone, that the leader uses for meetings and announcements. Dens in this clan act more as work spaces. The medicine den is also on this level, though only ill or injured cats actually sleep inside of it. On the second floor, the elders den, nursery, and leaders den are tucked safely away by a set of sturdy stone steps. The small loft space is where the exorcists have their den.
Leaders Den - Made up of a fallen beam, covered with a large velvet curtain, the den isn't very large but it doesn't have to be. This is a place where important decisions are made, almost like a war room of sorts. The curtain acts like a privacy screen and the thick velvet cancels out much sound so it really is one of the quietest places in the camp. Medicine Den - The only den on the first floor so that injured or ill cats wouldn't have to be carried or dragged up a flight of stairs. Four pews were pushed together and form a secure little corner of the church, offering a semi-private place to rest. The stone walls have been worn and carved into shelving units for herbs. Nests are made up along the walls for patients. Exorcist Den - This den is all the way at the top of the building and in the old treasury room. Lots of old silver lies up here, which is good for the clan. There are holes in the roof over the loft, which leaves deep puddles all over their floor, which they use to make Blessed Water. They have the most area space but a bunch of clutter lying about so one has to place their paws carefully. Nursery - This is a room that at one point must have been some sort of closet or pantry. It's large enough to fit four queens and their kits comfortably, with a high window that lets in warm, colorful light. The entrance to the den is hidden behind one of the elder's bookcases and very narrow, the most protected area. It also has a secret panic room underneath one of the cornerstones. The floor is covered in pale carpet and pieces of the curtain. Elders - This is the most open of areas. Just a grouping of twoleg bookcases. They use the bookshelves to store stone pictures drawn with dyes made from berries of the creatures the clan discovers, acting as a bestiary. They also keep an eye on trinkets and store extra silver on their shelves.
Hemlock Lake: A expansive lake created by surrounding boulders and covered by a heavy fog that never seems to clear. It feeds the three rivers snaking throughout the forest territory. The water is murky and dark, it's nearly impossible to see the bottom which makes it difficult for fishing. Frogs and some water-based herbs can be found around the banks, however. Cats who visit the lake at night when the fog is at its worst will swear they hear the water lapping against something huge cutting through the dark waves. No matter what is causing these noises, it would be wise to be careful when nearing the water's edge. Some call it Molly’s Lake in reference to the rumored monster living within. Forbidden Shrine: The building that serves as our camp was not only a church but an orphanage as well and the children would often wander off into the woods to play. Their dolls and trinkets now hang from the trees and bushes, leaving a somber hush over the area. When cats were first populating the area, a group of kittens got lost in this section of the woods and one disappeared, never to be seen again. This is why cats who wander too close to this small area of the forest will hear the crying of a kit begging for you to come closer, begging for help. It's advised that you never wander close and never bend to the voice's will. The Forbidden Shrine is rumored to be home to some sort of arachnid based monster since the area is always covered in webbing. Undergrowth and trees don't grow here, so herbs can't be found bit it's a good source of cobwebs when necessary. Upwalkers Den: A rundown twoleg place at the end of an old and overgrown trail coming from Ghastly Hollow. It was once home to a large family but it hasn't seen human contact in many years. The windows are boarded up and there are only two easily accessible entrances into the building. One is through a hole in the back of the chimney which leads directly into the hearth. The upstairs flooring is unstable and rotting but the bottom floor is full of mice, rats, and cobwebs. The upper level is home to a few bird nests since there are many holes in the upper windows. It is of course, pretty dangerous to go upstairs and most clan cats don't attempt it. The only other entrance available to felines would be the backdoor, which has a large split in it and leads to an old kitchen. Within the fence sits a garden housing hard to find herbs like catmint, parsley, chamomile, and lavender. Privates will often dare each other to climb the barbed wire and ivy-covered fence and return with herbs to prove their courage. Unfortunately not all return. There appears to be a creature of some sort inside the house that stalks in the shadows. It strikes very sporadically, you'll never know if it will decide to grab you, which is why most fully trained mercenaries go in groups into the den and only during the day. The Garden of Memory: This is a very sacred place for the clan. It is an abandoned twoleg graveyard that they have taken over as their own. A few ghosts can be seen floating around freely up and down the stones, though one, in particular, is always in the Garden of Memory, as he guards it. His name is Jackdaw, and he seems to be just a hair short of insane but he takes his job of guard very seriously - even if it is self-imposed. The clan mainly looks upon him fondly, like a crazy old uncle. Cats who have earned a proper burial are buried here so that their spirits may ascend to StarClan and or be brought back through necromancy. Cats who have committed crimes or acts of betrayal are sent down Quick Silver Stream, refused the opportunity to be welcomed into StarClan. The Stone Circle: Beneath camp, only accessible outside by a set out hidden stairs around back of the abandoned church, is the training grounds. The roof is arched and there is a single square window which lets in most of the light. There are three levels of flooring, the highest one being used for training that has to do with abilities that an apprentice may possess. The second level is for hunting practice, littered with moss balls and stones used for pouncing. The third level is the lowest and the closest to the entrance. It's also the widest and instead of being made out of stone, it's made from dirt and there is a wide circle made with stones in the center. This is the battle ring, where a main demonstration could be given or two chosen apprentices will fight until one is forced to step outside the circle. Other battle practices are to be performed outside the ring. The Ranking Tournament takes place inside here, in the ring. Ignis' Cave: At the far western border of territory, the master vampire makes his home. The cave entrance is deceptively small for such a large, deep cave but not many get to see the inside of it. Ignis is relatively friendly towards HallowedClan but he is a bit territorial of his home. It's polite to call for him at the entrance if he's needed, and some apprentices make a game of it during the day, trying to wake Ignis from his sleep. Little Rush River: This is the longest river in the territory, running straight through and ending at Hemlock Lake. It runs near the camp and is the usual source of fresh drinking water for the clan. Good fishing in wider parts of the river is hard to come by and those areas are prone being slick with mud and sludge, so one has to be careful where they are placing their paws. Little Rush River is fairly easy going and freezes mostly solid during Leaf-bare, though it's thin enough to break near the camp. The crossing is generally easy as the water doesn't get very deep and there are few wide lengths of the river. Some sections of the water are so thin cats can jump from bank to bank. Quick Silver Stream: Fishing in this stream is a dangerous trial but some cats are able to pull it off. Mostly the clan uses this river for all the moss and water-based herbs that grow abundantly along the banks. The river was actually named for a young molly named Silverflash who dove in to save a fallen private. She, unfortunately, didn't make it but her quick action saved a young life that day. Quick Silver Stream is on the edge of their territory, along their far border which is advantageous to the clan because it is wide and extremely difficult to cross. Rolling Boulder Creek: This little creek is covered with rocks, hence the name. It runs very shortly through their territory, in the more dense forest beside Hemlock Lake. A silver mine exists somewhere along the creek farther down and this is where some of our silver supply comes from. You'll find silver nuggets lying amongst the pebbles and rocks and the clan will send excavation patrols when they're in need of more. The rocks make for very easy crossing and frogs and toads, even some crayfish are common in this area. Ghastly Hollow: This is a true ghost town, abandoned by humans for so many years that the buildings have begun to fall apart and crumble in certain areas. This is the clan's main monster-hunting ground, as there seems to be something about the old place that invites evil to spawn there. Actual ghosts can be seen pretty much everywhere throughout the hollow, a few of them more famous than others. There's Moxie, a large molly who basically runs Ghastly Hollow. Lief and his big brother Haze who like to play pranks on unsuspecting cats. Lucile, a grumpy elderly female who snarks at everyone. And then there's Spook, who as his name implies scares easily and rarely shows himself. Coyotes are a huge problem in this area since there are a few wild chickens living in the hollow. Twolegs have left many things behind and this is where the cats get some of their silver and even some small trinkets that they find pretty or unique. Privates are forbidden to go here without at least two mercenaries due to the danger levels. Amber Desert: Beside the shrub-land that Ghastly Hollow rests in is the wide Amber Desert. Hallowedclan territory doesn't span the whole desert, really only a small chunk of it. The sands are hot and red, but there is much life here. Ivory Ruins, the Oasis, and Cactus Grove all reside in this section of the territory. This is also where phantoms can be seen, though no one truly knows what they are or even if they actually exist. It can be very easy to get turned around in the Amber Desert, so it's prudent to be careful and go with a trained group when traveling. Ivory Ruins: Ruins found far within the Amber Desert, it's about two days trek from Ghastly Hollow and traveling herbs are always needed before taking the journey. Without a direct source of water, cats have taken to chewing on desert grass and taking the moisture from the few surrounding blades. The ruins are made of thick, pale stone and bones tend to lay scattered about - both of which earned this landmark its name. During nights with a full moon, you can see the shambling shapes of skeletal creatures doomed to wander there. Any animal that has died on the desert sands will eventually end up there, even clan cats can be forced to wander aimlessly if their body is not brought back. If provoked the skeletal animals will attack. Stones and gems gathered here are brought back to camp, blessed by StarClan, and then given to warlocks to use as amulets. The Oasis: Not too far from Ghastly Hollow, a little under a day's walk, is the Oasis. As its name implies, it is a small watering hole in the Amber Desert, which the clan cats often use as a camping place on their travels to the Ivory Ruins. This is a great place to hunt for horned lizards, iguanas, desert mice, and the occasional jackrabbit. This surplus of prey also makes it an attraction to both natural predators, like coyotes and rattlesnakes, but also quite a few malicious creatures as well. The water may not be the clearest, nor really the coolest but it does well to clench thirst for traveling cats. If a cat is so inclined, a few smaller fish can be caught in the shallows. Cactus Grove: As the name implies this is a grove of cacti in the Amber Desert. Not too far from Ivory Ruins, these cacti stand tall against the sky surrounded by a few bushes. This is another decent spot for desert hunting, especially birds and small mammals. One still needs to keep an eye out for scorpions, rattlesnakes and kingsnakes. Even the cacti themselves can pose a threat if one isn't careful of them. There are a great many legends of drinking cactus juice and how it gives you vividly prophetic dreams but rarely are there cats willing to take the risk.
Climate Current Weather & Season Greenleaf early morning | cloudy skies
Prey & Predators- Mice, Shrews, & Voles - Birds - Fish - Lizards - Rabbits - Squirrels
- Bears - Badgers - Bobcats - Coyotes - Wolves - Wild Boars - Snakes - Predatory Birds - Scorpions Clan Traditions Lone Trials -- When a Private looking to become a Mercenary graduate from their apprenticeship they must go on a hunt. This hunt is done alone with Mercenaries and Medicine Cats on standby. To complete this task and become a full-fledged Mercenary they must find and successfully kill the monster named by their Mentor. The difficulty of the monster will often decide the pecking order for the new Mercenary within the ranks.
Ivory Lapidary -- When gems and stones from the Ivory Ruins are brought back to camp they must be blessed by Starclan and turned into amulets. Lapidary is the process in which the cats form their amulets and bond with their animal patron. Once this is complete they will have the ability to access the animal's powers and abilities. Privates will often put their own spin into their amulets so each one is different.
Hallowed Funeral -- When a clan cat has died their remains must be buried within the confines of the Garden of Memories. Known as a Hallowed Funeral the cats remains are placed in a deep hole blessed by an Exorcist. It's said that cats improperly buried cannot be risen by Necromancers and will be unable to speak to the clan.
Herb Run -- While not an official tradition, the Herb Run is done at the Upwalkers Den. Privates will often dare each other to climb the barbed wire and ivy-covered fence and return with herbs to prove their courage. It's not encouraged and is often banned, but what kind of Private looking to prove their worth would turn down the chance?
Spectral Migration -- Every year a large group of wandering spectral cats will visit the camp. These cats cannot be spoken with and will often ignore the clan cats completely, even Necromancers are unable to commune with these dead. If they are respected, and with a bit of luck, it's said they will sometimes leave rare and unusual items found on their eternal journey. Occasionally you may catch a spirit looking at you. What this means for the cat has not been proven, but some think it's a sign of bad luck.
Ranking Tournament -- Cats who partake in this competition will be able to raise their rank among the Mercenaries and are often held in high regard by the rest of the clan. Privates have their own branch of the competition, and those who do well in the competitions often have an easier time becoming a full fledged Mercenary. Those who do not partake in the battles will more often than not bet on those who they thing will win, trading small items or the best pieces of prey. This happens every four moons. Clan Rankings
Ranking System: Commander -- this is the leader of the clan. General -- this is the second in command. Medicine Cats -- there are four of them, the healers and necromancers. Exorcists -- Mercenaries that specialize in exorcism. Mercenaries -- these are the warriors. Privates -- these are the trainees. Queens -- the mothers of the clan. Kits -- little ones who can't fend for themselves. Elders -- those who have retired, bestiary keepers. Mercenary Rankings: C-Rank -- These are the new mercenaries. They have a lot of work to do and a whole lot to prove to their superiors. They usually get stuck helping the privates with chores and are usually given weaker creatures to go after. Not allowed to be mentors. B-Rank -- Mercenaries who have proved themselves or held the rank for a few moons belong here. They are allowed to mentor privates and are given much more respect than C-Rank cats. These mercenaries are allowed to go after more dangerous creatures. A-Rank -- These mercenaries are greatly respected within the clan. They're often mentors and are never forced to do chores. They are allowed to consider Silver Fangs, which are a permanent weapon. Only A-Rank can be considered for deputy when the time comes. S-Rank -- The rarest of rankings. It takes a great act of courage, power, or skill to end up among these ranks. These are the bad of the bad. Instead of being respected, they are often seen as dangerous and intimidating - which makes them outcasts within the clan. Even still, mercenaries and privates alike often aspire to gain this rank. They are extremely deadly and go after the toughest creatures. Exorcits: These are cats blessed by StarClan, who are given the gift of Light. This allows them to purify areas by sending waves of Light from their paws. They can preform exorcisms to get evil spirits or high demons out of the bodies they possess and then destroy the beings with their Light. Other than StarClan, they can purify Blessed Water, though their water isn't usually is strong. High demons and malevolent ghosts are their primary prey. They also have gifts that allow them to bend metal, which lets them make our silver claws and fangs, as well as the rare iron claws.

Allegiances
Commander --
Midnightstar female - 36 moons - bisexual - Commander(S-Rank) - warlock(rattlesnake) As her name implies, this molly has a rather dark complexion. Thick, pitch black fur covers her from ears to tail-tip. It's long and feathery, especially on her plumed tail. Not another speck of color lingers on her, even her nose and paw pads are a dark smoky gray. Her eyes are a deep yellow, bright against her night colored fur. They're also wide and round, a prominent feature on her fluffy face. Large, gruesome scars cover her stomach but are mostly hidden by her fur. A few smaller ones lie across her legs and right hip. The amulet around her neck is made out of ametrine and shaped to look like a rattle snake preparing to strike. Midnightstar is a fair-minded leader with a strong sense of justice and dedication. However, as a feline so young, many in the clan think she might be in over her head. She's very spirited, which can come across as snarky in certain situations. Midnightstar has plenty of confidence and isn't really one to back down from a challenge or overthink her actions. She handles her clan with respect for the most part, but struggles to consult others before making decisions. As an S-Rank, she's used to answering only to herself and as a result she doesn't really think to ask the opinions of others before making a choice she perceives as fair and correct. As a commander the warlock is normally on the side of peace, focusing on finding ways to find a compromise or some sort of treaty that will keep the violence to a minimum. Midnightstar can take on more than her share of the work around camp, often going above and beyond in her duties, which can be awful for her health. Midnightstar was born into the clan to a pair of warrios called, Ebonystrike and Darkwhisker. They raised her and her siblings pretty averagely and she had a perfectly normal apprenticeship. As a mercenary she quickly climbed the ranks, astounding her much older peers especially when Valestar chose her as his General. This happen a few moons ago but unfortunately Valestar lost his last life fighting a malevolent ghost and she took his spot as Commander. Her ability that links her to her rattlesnake spirit animal is venom. She can excrete the stuff from both her claws and her fangs but only twice a day and Midnightstar herself gets sick for a day afterwords while the venom runs through her body, though it won't kill her. General --Murkshadow male - 42 moons - heterosexual - general(A-Rank) - vampire A light brown tom with dark brown splotches, ranging in darker shades along his spine and down his tail. His toes and tail-tip are pitch black. He has a pair of pale red eyes. Two large crisscrossing scars across his throat. Brother to Tangledivy. [ open ]
Medicine Cat --
Lioncloud male - 54 moons - heterosexual - medicine cat - warlock(bear) Lioncloud is a massive golden tabby tom. His patron is a bear, and even as a cat he almost looks like one. He is built broadly, with wide shoulders and large paws. He has the same medium-length fur as his brother, giving him even more mass. But however fearsome a cat he looks, Lioncloud is at heart a softie. He has always been interested in learning and healing, valuing one's mental fortitude over physical strength. He has a playful attitude towards work and would rather make mundane tasks fun instead of repetitive. While he loves his work, particularly the memorization that goes with it, he often finds he can't focus on the same task all day and instead can be found bouncing between things, finishing them in steps instead of all at once when he can. Lionblaze enjoys gathering stories. He has been working on a system of record keeping in every spare moment, collaborating with the exorcists and necromancers to try and find a way to write their stories down. His greatest fear is being forgotten and that pushes him to create records of HollowedClan cats for the future. The time he doesn't spend in the medicine corner of the church he spends between the bookshelves of the elder's den. This is the perfect place for him: collecting the elders' knowledge while keeping a close eye on their needs coupled with the research he can do with the books makes this his safe space. Brother of Cirrusblaze. His patron bear can give him bursts of strength, as well as the ability to ignore pain. He can still be injured and this can often be a double-edged sword as he can easily be gravely wounded and not notice/keep fighting when he shouldn't. Luckily, being a medicine cat, he doesn't need to use this ability often and he is very reluctant to ever call upon it. His pendant is of a sleeping bear made out of copper. The edges are worn down and the body is oxidized green while the edges still have their coppery-orange coloration. [ Brownie ] Medicine Cat Apprentice -- Bramblepaw female - 9 moons - bisexual - medicine cat apprentice - warlock(pit viper) Bramblepaw is a skinny young cat of an agile build reminiscent of the snake that is her patron. Her fur is thick and raggedly, giving her the illusion of being larger than she actually is and often matted and tangled. Her coat is a dark brown shade, broken up by thin, black tabby striping. She has lighter cream and ginger highlights than run along her underbelly, legs, and chin with pale yellow eyes. Bramblepaw is a very easy-going cat--some might say too much for the important role she holds in the clan. Yet she has always taken her responsibility as a healer seriously and was delighted when she was accepted into the ranks. She does her best to keep an optimistic attitude in a climate where that isn't always easy, so often uses humor to cope with some of the darker sides of Hallowedclan life. This makes her very playful with her patients and clanmates, often at the most inappropriate times. She tries to treat every cat in the clan like family and cares for them accordingly, forming strong bonds with others easily. Bramblepaw is also very bright and curious, enjoying the time she gets to study with her mentor and often experimenting with different herbs. She learns quickly but often has trouble keeping her focus as she is easily distracted, sometimes even by her own thoughts. The she-cat likes to collect strange artifacts and is fascinated by plants and flowers, the trinkets the elder's watch over or the gemstones brought back from the desert. She enjoys decorating the medicine cat den with some of her findings, hoping to help brighten up the space for its inhabitants. Her amulet is strung on a thick, braided vine that usually has various flowers or leaves stuck into it, adorned by a coiled up pit viper on an ametrine stone. Sibling to Hawthornpaw. With a pit viper as her patron, Bramblepaw has the ability to use infrared vision for a limited time. She took this ability as a sign from Starclan to be a healer and uses her heat vision to help sense signs of infection or inflammation stemming from internal injuries. However use of this ability results in excruciating migraines. 𝑓𝑜𝑥
Head Necromancer --
Silentwind male - 39 moons - asexual - head necromancer - normal He has pale gray fur, so pale it's nearly white. He is an oriental longhair, so he has an angular face and tall build, with skinny legs and tail. His eyes are a sightless clouded white. His claws are naturally longer than normal. [ open ]
Necromancer Apprentice -- Zephyrpaw male - 7 moons - homosexual - private - hybrid(demon) A demon hybrid with light gray fur - a true oddity. To be fair, he does have smoky color-point markings and matching rings around his tail. His paws and tail tip are pitch black but he has white freckle like specks beneath his eyes. A single black horn sits on his forehead and his right sclera is black. His eyes are a vivid electric blue. He has a lanky build with lean muscles. Zephyrpaw is a quiet tom, with a meticulous mind. There is very little that get's by him and his sharp judgement. The tomcat lives in a cat eat cat world, where there is little room for weakness or mercy. From a young age he was taught that only the strong survive and he has yet to find a flaw in his teachings. He's a cynical one, with little dependence on hope or love. He keeps his claws sharp and his mind sharper, always preparing and expecting the worst out of others. Trust doesn't come easily to Zephyrpaw at all, there are probably very few that he would let at his back, aside from his brother. There is dedication in him, for he is the type of feline who needs a mission, something to work towards. He will be loyal to that mission, seeing it through till the end. He can often underestimate his own strength and this has caused him to accidentally injure some of his clan mates, which is enough of a reason for him to try and keep his distance. It's rare for Zephyrpaw to relax but when he does he can actually be a sarcastic, witty tom. There is two sides to every coin and there is definitely a heart deep down somewhere in this feline. He was born in the clan with his brother, Batpaw. He has the usual demonic hybrid abilities.

Exorcists --
Wildpath female - 68 moons - bisexual - normal An older calico she-cat with wildly thick fur, which is where her prefix originated. Her tail is bobbed and her she wears a battered collar around her neck from her young days as a kittypet. Her eyes are a bright orange. Mother of Lostrose and Littlebriar. [ open ]
Clearchime female - 36 moons - bisexual - warlock(bluebird) Sleek furred cream furred molly with blue seal point markings around her face, ears, paws, and tail. Her eyes are a vivid blue. She tends to keep a bluebird feather tucked behind her ear. Her amulet is a bluebird mid song, carved from blue topaz. [ open ]
Ravenwing male - 34 moons - heterosexual - exorcist - warlock(raven) An unassuming tom, Ravenwing doesn't stand out much in a crowd. He has a short and fluffed-up coat, resembling bird feathers, of smoky, dark gray fur. His coat is completely solid, not a trace of white adorning the tom, although he has an almost metallic sheen to his coat in the right lighting. The tom's eyes are more almond shaped, a deep green in color. As an exorcist, Ravenwing takes great pride in his ability to protect his clan. Not always the strongest fighter, the tom would much rather use the powers of Light and Starclan to defend Hallowedclan. He can be a little unsure of himself and his abilities as an exorcist at times. It often takes him a long time to recover from failures, no matter how small, as he fears not being able to protect his clan due to a personal shortcoming. He is an excellent exorcist, but he needs to really feel the pressure of the situation before he can get over his anxieties and get himself to his paws. When the need arises, Ravenwing is very self-sacrificing and tries to put himself between him and some of his more vulnerable clanmates when he can, especially when his kin are concerned. He is incredibly family oriented and has always wanted a mate and kits, although he has always been held back by this by feelings of guilt and selfishness if he were to bring children into the dangerous climate of the clan and a deep fear of not being able to protect them. His amulet hangs on a single strand of vine, depicting a raven in flight on moonstone. With abilities derived from his raven patron, Ravenwing can become exceptionally swift and stealthy for small increments of time. He can also recreate a very realistic raven call when using his ability. [ 𝑓𝑜𝑥 ]
Forgottenlore tom - 28 moons - gay - Exorcist - Warlock(owl) This tom is not one to be taken lightly... in fact, you should only seek him out personally if you have dire need of his immense knowledge and skill. He was given his animal spirit for a reason, and one that he doesn't take lightly. Ever since he was a kit, this tom was smart, smarter than anyone ever seen in fact. He held immense knowledge and learned things at a rapid pace and with great efficiency. His fur is long and deep brown with lighter brown markings throughout (kind of like owl markings), a white chest, and a white tail tip. Along with this, his front left paw is brown with ginger toes and he has a dash of ginger on his chest that is shaped somewhat like a feather. Like many warlocks, this tom wears an amulet around his neck. A thin vine holds his in place and the amulet itself sits right above the feather marking. His eyes are large and round like an owl's, and hold a deep wisdom is their icy blue depths. The power he gains from his amulet is minimal, his knowledge being his greatest strength instead of his power itself. When the amulet is activated, Forgottenlore gets access to enhanced agility, and he becomes able to rotate his head like an owl. Because his power doesn't really effect him much, he is known to activate it when someone comes looking for him so that he can turn his head around and scare them. Forgottenlore was never a normal tom, and when I say never, I mean never. He was born with his eyes wide open and even then it was clear he was smart. He spoke first, walked first, and upon leaving the nursery for the first time, began to learn things in huge quantities and even ended up teaching himself things as well. He listened to every story, lesson, and report that he could and because of his sharp mind, he remembers every single thing he's ever learned. Because of his gift of knowledge he chose to go on the path of an exorcist, and was later accepted by Starclan. Now, he is showing a great aptitude for his work and does everything he can to be of help to the clan. He is secretive and cryptic though, seeming to speak not to you, but to himself, often referring to himself in third person and even speaking in rhymes and poems. He is known to stay in the den where he works and doesn't leave it often. Not only this, but he stays in the darkest part of the den, as he says the dark helps to soothe his mind and body. [ Jekyll ]
Pumpkinpatchfemale - 23 moons - asexual - exorcist - normal This feline is on the daintier side, a bit smaller than most of her full grown clan mates and with a lot less muscle tone. Her base coat is a snowy white, which makes it difficult for her to camouflage herself well in their dense territory. Her name is definitely stemmed from the large orange patches that splatter all across her fur. She has thin fur which does nothing to hide the small scars that litter her legs. There's an especially long one that runs down from her right hip to her paw. She has a small feminine face, which is mostly white with a single patch of orange behind her left eye. She has a pair of bright green eyes. Pumpkinpatch is a timid thing, normally keeping to herself. She has severe social anxiety and prefers to hide in the shadows - not that her pelt makes it easy. Quiet and soft-spoken, when she does try to speak it's very easy for her clan mates to talk over her or even forget she's there. To be honest, Pumpkinpatch almost prefers it that way at times. Kind is definitely a word that comes to mind when one thinks of this patched feline and she is a great listener. She's greatly sympathetic towards others problems and is easily swayed by pain or sorrow. A big old softie. Pumpkinpatch was born to a single mother named Littlemouse, who was an anxious cat and always warned her kits of the dangers of the world. While most of her siblings thought that this was nonsense, she took some of those concerns to heart - mostly about other cats. Talking and speaking up to a group of clan mates can be such a terror for her that she will do generally anything to avoid it. Mercenaries -- S-Rank to C-Rank Amberdusk male - 70 moons old - pansexual - mercenary(A-Rank) - warlock(mink) A light brown siamese tomcat with dark amber eyes, odd for his breed. His hearing is beginning to fail him a bit but he refuses to retire. His amulet is a mink with it's nose in the air, carved from citrine. [ open ]
Foxthroat male - 57 moons old - heterosexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - warlock(fox) His naturally tall build and bushy fur already make him appear rather similarly to his namesake. His mainly ruddy red coloring, with a white chest, stomach, and socks, don't help matters. He has black ear-tips and speckles on his muzzle. The tip of his tail is also dipped in black. He has a pair of deep green eyes. His amulet is a sitting fox carved out of carnelian. [ open ]
Cirrusblaze male - 54 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(B-rank) - warlock(mouse) Cirrusblaze is a white tom with light grey dappled markings. His tail-tip is darker grey, as is his paws and muzzle. His eyes are a dull yellow. His fur is of medium length, his ears quite tall atop his head. He has an average-to-bulky build, but appears slight compared to his brother's broad shoulders. Cirrusblaze is, in one word, headstrong. He isn't so much brave as he is prideful, isn't as loyal as he is stubborn. But however selfish he is, one cannot doubt the results. He stands on the forefront of a fight, the first one in and the last to flee. He puts HallowedClan's war against the mystic at the utmost and works with a single-minded determination that is terrifying in its own right. In his downtime, Cirrusblaze enjoys talking to others. Empathy may be hard to find, but he finds great satisfaction in understanding others' perspectives and worldviews. He also loves himself a good debate: arguing and rebutting is like second nature and he is quick to question flawed logic. But even small talk engages him as he tries to find patterns and greater meaning to the words --or the blanks left within. Brother of Lioncloud. The aspect of the mouse allows him to feel tremors of footsteps on the ground. It also allows him swiftness for very short periods (5-6s) in exchange for horrible exhaustion afterwards. His pendant is a simple mouse embossed on amethyst. [ Brownie ]
Dovestrike female - 48 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(A-Rank) - warlock(flying squirrel) A pure white she-cat with thin, soft fur. She has soft green eyes. She has a muscular build and large paws. Her amulet is a flying squirrel mid flight, carved from morganite. Her children are Bleakpaw, Sorrelpaw, and Eaglepaw. [ open ]

He also has a single white paw, his front right. His eyes are a bright amber. His amulet is a badger going for the kill, carved from rhodonite. Sister is Dovestrike. [ open ]
Lostrose female - 46 moons - pansexual - mercenary(C-Rank) - normal Silky furred calico she-cat who is mostly white, with light ginger and grayish brown patches. Her tail is long and feathery, which helps her keep excellent balance. Her eyes are a light yellowish green. Daughter of Wildpath. Sister of Littlebriar. [ open ]
Littlebriar female - 46 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(A-Rank) - warlock(ant) Small, dainty calico she-cat with a distinctive pattern of bright ginger and warm brown mixing with a darker brown across her forehead, down her spine and across the top of her tail. The rest of her is white. She has yellowish green eyes. Daughter of Wildpath. Sister of Lostrose. Her amulet is an ant carved out of amber. [ open ]
Thistlescar male - 43 moons - bisexual - mercenary(S-Rank) - demon hybrid A large, muscular dark brown tabby tom with pitch black "cuffs" around his paws and tail. He has a black stripe around his neck that appears like a choker. He has a curled horn to the left side of his head. Thick scars cover his muzzle and on his chest. He has fiery amber eyes. [ open ]
Tangledivy male - 42 moons - homosexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - vampire Long, feathery furred light brown tom with white socks on his hind legs. A black stripe runs from his nose to the very tip of his tail. He has light red eyes. His hind left leg was dislocated years ago in battle and never healed right, so he walks with a bit of a limp. Brother to Murkshadow. [ little blu ♥ ]
Owlshiver female - 39 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(C-Rank) - normal Golden tan colored she-cat with long limbs and a slender build. She has large yellow eyes and white tufts to her ears and tail. Small scars litter her hind legs and underbelly. Her daughter is Duskpaw. [ open ]
Shatteredecho male - 36 moons - homosexual - mercenary(B-rank) - warlock(badger) He's a spiky furred pitch black tom with one single white ear. His eyes are bi colored, one a bright blue and the other a deep golden. He has multiple scars down his spine. His amulet is a badger with it's claws outstretched and it's carved out of sodalite. Brother to Midnightstar. [ open ]
Cactusbloom male - 35 moons old - heterosexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - normal Light gray tom with thin, barely visible spotted tabby markings. He has darker ear-tips and toes. He's missing half of his tail. His eyes are a leafy green. Father of Duskpaw. [ open ]
Blazerunner male - 33 moons - bisexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - normal Athletic, handsome dark ginger tom with a black patch on the right side of his face. His ears and tail have small black flecks on them, as though they've been sprinkled by ash. He has light blue eyes. His twin is Embersky. [ little blu ♥ ]
Embersky female - 33 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - normal Lean, agile dark ginger she-cat with a white patch across the left side of her face. Her ears have little white flecks on them as does her tail, as though they've been snowed on. She has light blue eyes. Her twin is Blazerunner. [ open ]
Grimwolfmale - 31 moons - bisexual - mercenary(A-Rank) - warlock(wolf) He is a large, muscular cat though it's hard to tell under all that fur. Grimwolf has a deep gray tabby pelt with smokey stripes. The lighter colors on his pelt consist of a soft cream stomach, chest and paws. Deep scars mar his shoulders, chest, flanks, and stomach. His left ear is nearly shredded and a scar over his right eye has nearly rendered it sightless. His left eye is a vibrant amber but the other has unfortunately faded and dulled due to the damage it has taken. The amulet around his neck is made out of moonstone and is shaped into a wolf howling. As rugged as he appears, Grimwolf is a loyal and dedicated warrior. He is a bit gruff and rough around the edges but that's the way he's always been. His pain tolerance is rather high, he doesn't complain about much and is more willing to take care of others than himself. He has these walls that he's built around himself that he's careful he doesn't let anyone too close. Grimwolf has a temper on him, that he barely keeps leashed at times. This can result in lashing out and or picking and getting into fights. Often cases he doesn't even mean half the things he says in the heat of his anger. After knowing true loss at such a young age, the scarred tom tends to be over-protective of those who manage to get close to him. He wasn't born inside the clan, he came to them as a rogue beaten and near death, curled tightly around his sister. They healed him and took him in but no one has been able to get his past out of him or his sister. His sister is Duskhound. The power he gained from his wolf spirit is the ability to heighten his senses, his sight, smell, and hearing to that of the superior wolf. He can't use these heightened senses too much in a single day or he gets terrible headaches.
Duskhound female - 31 moons - homosexual - mercenary(a-rank) - warlock(hound) A dark grey she-cat with slighter lighter markings. Her eyes are a stunning red-amber color, similar to the color of the sky at dusk. Her right ear is folded and her fur is on the longer side. She's a solid cat with sharp silver claws given to her when she became and A-rank. Duskhound has scarring on the back of her neck and shoulders. -- Duskhound is enthusiastic and bright. She can talk for hours on end and it's considered a death sentence to your afternoon if you get her started on an extensive topic. Since becoming older she's mellowed out some, though is still easily distracted -- get her locked on a topic and she'll ramble for hours. Duskhound is a kind cat with infectious curiosity, a stark difference from her brother. Her battle style could be compared to a hunting dog going after nothing but it's prey, unaware of her surrounding and focused on what's in front of her. She's not fond of remembering her history and refuses to be held down or become upset about it. She was brought to the clan, injured, with her brother. Grimwolf is her brother. With her connection to the hound spirit she is able to strengthen her bite strength and lengthen her fangs. She is only able to hold this form for a limited time once a day.
Crimsonfeather female - 28 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - vampire A very pale silvery sheen covers the majority of her average length coat. Her ears are tall and sit proud on top of her head, matched with long white whiskers and a dusky tan nose. Black spotted tabby markings, closely resembling an Egyptian Mau, cross her pelt from her forehead, down to the the very tip of her long tail. Crimsonfeather is a very agile, lean female who is missing her left ear, as it was torn off in a battle against a demon. She has dark red eyes that mark her for what she is. Crimsonfeather is a genuine molly who believes in complete honesty, even if that makes her come off as a bit blunt at times. She's not one for playing games or tip-toeing around situations, if she has a problem, she'll speak up about it and get it off her chest. As a warrior who grew up with strong role models, she has a strong grasp on her own sense of right and wrong. This can make her opinionated and stubborn, especially when something goes against her inner morals. Crimsonfeather is deeply maternal, especially as she was the oldest of her litter. The fierce protectiveness she takes over her loved ones, whether they are her actual kits or not, can be compared to a mother bear defending her cubs. This can be verbally or physically and in life threatening situations or simple arguments. Injustice is not something that the molly can stand and she will always do what she believes is right, even before following the code. She was born as the oldest od her litter and her mother was a distant, cold feline named Lightface. Their father was an unknown vampire who never stepped up to claim them. As the oldest, Crimsonfeather always believed that she needed to take care of her younger litter mates and took on a mothering role from a young age. [ little blu ♥ ]
Palethorn female - 28 moons - pansexual - mercenary(C-Rank) - vampire Palethorn is, as her prefix would suggest, a pale grey molly. She has darker grey mottled spots along her pelt and dark grey rings to her tail. Her eyes are the signature red of a vampire. She is slight of build, markedly smaller than the average HollowClan cat, but with hard-padded paws and strong legs fit for jumping and climbing. She isn't a shy cat per se, but often quiet, speaking only when she has something to say. Companionable silence is comfortable for her. Palethorn isn't a fighter. She would have aimed to be an exorcist if not for being a vampire, and feels somewhat cheated of the choice by the circumstances of her birth. Instead, she aims to stay a C-tier mercenary, avoiding all but the weakest of the lesser demons by any means possible. She is content to help the younger privates with their duties, hunting and gathering herbs and doing other tasks for the good of the Clan. Palethorn looks up to her sister, Crimsonfeather. She feels her sister is much braver than she, and when a choice is to be made, thinking of what Crimsonfeather would do often enables her to fight for what's right despite Palethorn's gut reaction to avoid confrontation. Palethorn loves helping the young learn and while she doesn't want to be a mentor and teach others to fight, she could easily see herself as a nursery mother. Though she has reservations about raising kits herself, as she doesn't particularly want to pass on her vampirism. [ Brownie ]
Fadedwing male - 28 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(A-Rank) - vampire A light gray tom with silvery undertones. He has darker spotted tabby markings and black rings around his eyes and tail. His eyes are a dark red. He's taller than both of his siblings and much more muscular. A single scar rests from below his ear to just under his jaw on his right side. His sisters are Palethorn and Crimsonfeather. [ open ]
Impureblood tom - 28 moons - pansexual - Mercenary(S-rank) - Vampire Hybrid Impureblood, often called just Imp by those around him, is a large, thin bodied tom who was born of a vampire hybrid and a vampire, leading to him being three parts vamp and only one part normal. This heritage causes Imp to have to feed often, much like a normal vampire. Sadly, Impureblood is not close with anyone and so refuses to feed, leading to him being tired and sluggish most of the time, his red and blue bicolor eyes now dull and his black fur seeming to be a sooty gray instead of the vivid ebony black it should be. Until he becomes close friends or even mates with a single cat, he will continue to refuse to feed. His fangs are long, sticking out prominently even when his jaws are closed and he is a fantastic hunter and tracker, along with being well trained in stealth and having the normal enhanced agility of vampires. Though he is weak because of his lack of feeding, this tom will not back down from a fight and will always protect his clan, even if that means terrifying his own clanmates in the process. Imp was not always closed off and secretive with the clan, in fact, when he was a kit, he was upbeat and happy almost all the time, running around and laughing like any other kits. Sadly, on his first outing from the camp as an apprentice, he went missing for almost a moon. Upon returning he was different... changed... simply not himself anymore. He refuses to speak of what happened to him and merely stays to himself now, fighting tooth and claw to protect his clan. He's disemboweled demons, tracked down ghosts, stole the life from vampires, and even now he continues to go on strong even with his lack of feeding, leading to him being a very feared but also respected member of the clan. Will not fight or even get close to a wendigo. [ Jekyll ]
Goldencrest male - 27 moons - bisexual - mercenary(b-rank) - angel hybrid Goldencrest is a beautiful silver tom with slighter darker tabby markings. His chin, chest, and underbelly are pure white while his ear tips looked as if they were dipped in a dark silver color. His eyes are bright yellow. As an angel hybrid Goldencrest has pale golden feathers sprouting from his shoulders and back, these likely giving him his name. He holds himself with grace and dislikes dirtying his stunningly beautiful fur. -- Goldencrest comes across as rather relaxed and in control. Despite his easy going appearance and actions it appears that he can sometimes be rather sadistic, this due to his heritage. He'll rarely get angry or lose control, but will rather do or say unsettling things with an eerie smile on his face. Goldencrest is often too relaxed and that causes cats to think of him as lazy. He doesn't get along well with those who have a ton of energy or those who push themselves and try too hard. Goldencrest is piss poor at fighting, but is good with chatting up others and hunting. Instead of investing in his fighting abilities he instead focused on strategy. Gifted to the clan for safe passage of his family though their territory. [ 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ]
Coyoteleap female - 24 moons - asexual - mercenary(B-Rank) - normal A sandy blonde she-cat with darker lynx point markings across her face, tail, ears, and down around her paws. She has a single light amber eye and a pale dusty pink nose. Her other eye was lost in a nasty encounter with an angel. [ Brownie ]
Ebonyheart female - 18 moons - heterosexual - mercenary(C-Rank) - warlock(porcupine) Her fur is a dark gray, barely interrupted by any other color. Thin lines swirl through her coat - particularly on her flanks, stomach, legs, and tail. Her cheeks have distinctive black swirls that slide up near her eyes. She has light yellow eyes. Her amulet is a porcupine carved out of sunstone. Sister to Scorpiongaze. [ open ]
Scorpiongaze male - 18 moons - bisexual - mercenary(C-Rank) - warlock(scorpion) Thin, lanky tom with awkward limbs. He has black fur with dark gray speckles across his shoulders and down his back. His toes are pure white, as is the very tip of his tail. He has intense, wide orange eyes. His amulet is a scorpion carved out of ruby. Brother of Ebonyheart. [ 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ]
Privates --
Bleakpaw female - 12 moons - ace/aro - private(exorcist) - normal A gray-and-white patched she-cat with wide, green eyes. Her gray patches—which can be found primarily on her back and legs—are marked by a tabby pattern. She has a tear in her left ear and another light scar on her shoulder. -- Wary and soft-spoken by nature, Bleakpaw isn't the type to walk straight up to a stranger in order to begin a conversation. Though not exactly 'shy,' she tends to assume the worst in others and struggles to get close to them. This tendency can often lead her to a self-imposed loneliness of sorts, but also means she is incredibly careful and hard to trick. It's hard to read her and she rarely shares what she is thinking causing frustration in her clanmates. Her distrusting personality makes her somewhat paranoid. Bleakpaw was born in the clan. [ 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ]
Sorrelpaw female - 12 moons - lesbian - private - warlock(kangaroo rat) Light gray tabby she-cat with a white chest and tail-tip. She has more rounded ears than usual and soft amber eyes. She has a tall, willowy build and a longer tail than usual. Her amulet is a crouching kangaroo rat made from opal. Sister to Bleakpaw and Eaglepaw. [ little blu ♥ ]
Eaglepaw male - 12 moons - bisexual - private - warlock(spiny mouse) A mostly white tom with large gray patches along his back and tail. Like his sisters, his gray fur is tabby in pattern. He has bright green eyes and a soft pink nose and paw pads. His amulet is a spiny mouse made from agate. Brother to Sorrelpaw and Bleakpaw. [ Brownie ]
Hawthornpawmale - 9 moons - heterosexual - private - warlock(falcon) Though he started out as a skinny feline, he has put in the hard work to build up his athletic form. Hawthornpaw is a light tan colored tom with thick, dark tabby stripes covering him from head to tail-tip. Lighter cream colored fur lingers around the tom's mouth, eyes, underbelly, and toes. To accent his peachy pink nose, a faint hue of ginger rests right above it which accents the similar hints around the rims of his ears. Bright apple green eyes settle into his face. His amulet is shaped into a falcon with it's wings spread mid-flight and it's made from malachite. Hawthornpaw is the type of cat who takes the world by storm. He's confident and outgoing, a tom who is aware of his strengths and knows how to use them to his advantage. There is a calm sort of arrogance about him, almost a sort of swagger. A debonair tom with a charming, boyish grin. His personality shines through as mostly playful and easygoing, much how he wants it to, hiding a deeper intelligence. Trouble is his middle name and the warrior is certainly not afraid of facing it, in fact most say he has a fool's courage about him. Hawthornpaw a huge flirt, messing with all the mollies. He is a giant tease with who often gets eye-rolls and even cuffs to his ears. This of course only encourages him more. A bit on the lazier side, he enjoys taking his sweet time and messing around above all else. Hawthornpaw was born into the clan. The gift he was given by his falcon spirit is a large set of talons, which are wickedly sharp and thick. He can only keep his claws transformed into these talons for a limited amount of time however. [ little blu ♥ ]
Geckopaw female - 8 moons - heterosexual - private - normal Orange and white splotched molly with darker cream undertones under her eyes and on her ears. She has dark yellow eyes. She's rather small and lean, much like her sister, Flamepaw. [ open ]
Flamepaw female - 8 moons - pansexual - private - warlock(maned wolf) Light ginger tabby with a pure white tail and ear-tips. Her eyes are a dark blue. She's got long legs but is smaller in build. Her amulet is a maned wolf carved from rose quartz. Her sister is Geckopaw. [ sparkscatter ]
Oleanderpaw molly - 8 moons - bisexual - Private - Angel Hybrid Oleanderpaw is a long-haired, snowy white she-cat whose eyes are the most vivid of golds ever seen. Her front paws, tail tip, and left ear are silver while she has a dusting of black and amber flecks along her haunches and flanks. Small golden feathers sprout out along the base of her tail and on the tips of her ears. Her teeth, oddly, are slightly duller than most, leading to it being harder for her to fight and hunt as she sometimes has trouble delivering strong bites because of it. Because of this, she trains hard, harder than anyone, to get her jaw as strong as she can and to learn the best ways to injure an opponent with just her claws. Though she trains hard, this she-cat also loves to spend time making sure she looks perfect, grooming her fur often and weaving small flowers throughout her fur, especially along her ears and chest. Why does she care so much about looking good? That would be because of Batpaw, the one tom in the clan that has managed to make her heart go in spirals any time she even so much as hears his name. Born into the clan. Has a HUGE crush on Batpaw. Scared of water. [ Jekyll ] Batpaw male - 7 moons - homosexual - private - demon hybrid A dark furred tom tom with blood red eyes. He's well built with a long horn protruding from the right side of his head. He has dark markings along his fur, the most prominent one being across his shoulders. The markings almost look like bat wings. His tail is black and he has red markings under his eyes. The sclera of his left eye is black. -- Batpaw is rather pessimistic and serious. He's not easy to get along with, but he's smart and quick to learn. The grave tom is smaller than your average demon hybrid, but that doesn't seem to slow him down. And much like other demon hybrids he has absolutely zero talent in magic. Zephyrpaw is his brother. [ 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ]
Duskpaw female - 7 moons - lesbian - private - normal Long furred golden tabby she-cat with darker honey mackerel tabby stripes. Her ears are tufted and she has a huge scar on the right side of her face. She has pale green eyes. Her mother is Owlshiver and her father is Cactusbloom. [ open ]
Jerichopaw male - 6 moons old - bisexual - private - vampire Agile and quick, this tom has sleek black fur. His toes are a soft white, matching the white blaze on his nose. He has a dark russet splash on his right shoulder. He has vibrant red eyes. Brother is Hemlockpaw. Father is Murkshadow. [ little blu ♥ ]
Hemlockpaw male - 6 moons old - heterosexual - private - vampire Pitch black, without an ounce of color on him, it's honestly hard to tell that this tom is a vampire. Aside from those intense red eyes of course. He is much more muscular than his brother but has a shorter tail. Brother is Jerichopaw. Father is Murkshadow. [ open ]

Thunderkit male - 3 moons - unknown - kit - normal Deep gray tom with thicker fur around his neck, much like his mother. He has black rings around his tail and legs. Each of his toes, his tail-tip, and chin are a bright white. He has stormy blue eyes. Mother is Cinderdapple and sister is Rushingkit. [ sparkscatter ]
Elders -- Scarletmoon female - 118 moons - bisexual - elder - warlock(bat) Scarletmoon is a dark brown tabby. She has lighter brown paws. The tip of her tail is bright white, as is her stomach and a spot on her chest. Her eyes are bright yellow and still sharp, despite the graying of her muzzle and weakened reflexes. She was once a tall, thin molly, but after retiring she has been known to spend too much time in the sun and has put on a bit of weight. Her joints are the most problematic for her and her reason for retirement: arthritis in her hips and forelegs makes it painful for her to move quickly or long distances and she walks with a distinct limp. Nevertheless, she was once a top A-rank mercenary and is accustomed to commanding attention. She speaks her mind, never shy to butt in on a conversation when she has an opinion. She may not be in fighting condition, but expects to be a part of any council to guide the others in the right direction. In all honesty, her years have given her experience, but she couldn't be said to be wise. She still has too much fire in her soul, too much fight left in her, and lives vicariously through her clanmates' battles. She wears an opal pendant of a bat hanging from a branch. Lioncloud and Cirrusblaze's great aunt. Her patron the bat gives her sharp hearing and light, strong bones. [ Brownie ]
Poppystorm female - 112 moons - lesbian - elder - normal A dark tortoiseshell she-cat with a bobbed tail. Jagged scars fall across her haunches and hind legs from where she tried to escape while a demon had their claws sunk into her. She has light amber eyes. Her mate is Scarletmoon. [ open ]
Sootfur male - 74 years old - heterosexual - elder - normal Thin, long furred dark gray tabby tom with brilliant white whiskers - which are turning gray in his old age. He has lime green eyes. He was mighty handsome once upon a time. Now slouches when he walks. Father of Ravenwing and Cinderdapple. Grandfather of Rushingkit and Thunderkit. [ open ]
Lichenfrost male - 23 moons - homosexual - elder - normal An orange tom with small white patches, though a larger one covers most of his face. He has icy blue eyes. His left hind leg was ripped off in an intense battle with a wendigo, causing him to retire extremely early. Brother to Pumpkinpatch. [ Brownie ]

She has yellow tinted green eyes. She's rather slender and tall but has long fur. Mother to Bramblepaw and Hawthornpaw. [ open ]
Daffodil female - 4 moons - unknown - loner - normal Tiny black and white patched young feline with dark green eyes. Her fur is thick but not too terribly long. She has a long tail and a dusky pink nose. She has a small scar on her flank. Her father is Louie. [ little blu ♥ ]
Louie male - 24 moons - bisexual - loner - normal A thin tom with gray fur that is run through with black and white patches, particularly along his spine and down his tail. He has a longer tail than usual and dark green eyes. His daughter is Daffodil. [ open ]
NPCs -- Moxie
female - unknown - npc - ghost This is a large pale brown tabby she-cat with a white splotch on her chest. She has thin fur and is a little on the round side, especially in her face and stomach. Her eyes are a bright amber. Moxie is the self-appointed head honcho around Ghastly Hollow and most of the ghosts naturally look up to her when troubles arise. She's definitely the most friendly and outgoing of the regular ghosts in the ghost town. Motherly and warm but if sassed she won't hesitate to get a bit snappy. Everyone's family to Mama Moxie.
Lief male - unknown - npc - ghost Appearing like a kit, which is how old he must have been when he died, Lief is a small gray and white patched tom. He has wild fur and big green eyes. The little guy is sweet as pie and a bit shy around living cats, until his older brother steps in. He looks up to Haze more than anyone and is always willing to do what he says. Older brother is Haze.
Haze male - unknown - npc - ghost This tom looks to be about apprentice aged, certainly older than his brother but not quite old enough to considered full grown. His fur is mainly gray with white paws. He has a pair of sharp yellow eyes. Haze is mischievous and loves to play pranks on living cats. Causing trouble and messing around are simply his favorite tasks. He's very protective over his little brother, Lief.
Lucile female - unknown - npc - ghost A grouchy old calico she-cat who limps whenever she walks. Her tail is a short nub. Her eyes are a dark amber. Much like an irritable grandmother, Lucile will snark and snap at anyone and everything. She is never content, always finding something to complain about. She shows her affection through nagging others to death.
Spook male - unknown - npc - ghost A pure black tom without an ounce of any other color on him. His eyes are an icy blue. He is a twitchy tom who is extremely anxious and jumps at just about anything - which earned him his nickname. No one knows his real name, aside from maybe Moxie. He can be seen at the corner of cat's visions before fading out or even staring from the darkness before getting frightened off.
Jackdaw male - unknown - npc - ghost This is an older tom with a dark ashen gray pelt with lighter spots around his eyes, muzzle, and stomach. His eyes are slightly cross-eyed and one is yellow and the other is blue. Jackdaw is the self-proclaimed guardian of the Garden of Memory. He is a bit mad, but very harmless. The clan cats humor him and see him fondly. He's a goofy sort of tom who takes his job very seriously.
Ignis male - unknown - npc - master vampire This tom, unlike many of his vampire kin is darker than night, with the exception of a single white patch on his chest. He is a lean tom with an air of elegance about him, from his narrow face to his long legs. His fur is medium length, not too long but silky soft and normally groomed well enough to keep the strands sleek and shiny. There is a long pale pink scar across his chest, though he won't speak about where it came from. His nose and paw pads are an ashen gray, providing little contrast between his dark pelt. Ignis' eyes are where the true color comes in, as they are a brilliant violet. The master vampire is truly an enigma to the clan, as mysterious and secretive as they come. He is debonair and charming, never seeming to be in too negative a mood. Though his true motives are unknown, Ignis is usually willing to lend a paw to help when the clan is hunting more powerful creatures or confronting beasts they've never faced before. Outwardly he appears slow to anger but in truth, no one in the clan really has ever tried to make him truly angry. His powers are mostly unknown, as he is careful about sharing them. Unknown history, but he's been with the clan since the beginning and legend says he's been around even longer.
Styx male - unknown - bisexual - npc - high demon A pitch black tom, with a single white patch over one side of his face. His horns are tall and twisted, wickedly sharp at the tips. His eyes are pitch black with a blood red ring around the pupil. Sleek, leathery wings explode from his shoulder blades. Styx is one of the lesser known high demons, but also one of the most feared. No one really knows his name, they call him the Sleep Demon - after his tendency to manipulate dreams. Seriously sly and shockingly charasmatic, Styx is not someone to turn your back on. You will regret it. Sons are Batpaw and Zephyrpaw.

Hybrids ; These are clan cats who have creature parents. These types of relationships are rare, so the offspring are also a rare commodity. There have been a few litters over the years. Depending on what they're mixed with, they can look different and have different abilities. Angel hybrids normally have golden eyes that they inherit from their monster parent. They also have a few golden feathers in their fur, though they are not full-blown wings. Ability wise they tend to be smooth-talkers, not quite to the degree of their Angel parent but similar. Demon hybrids are technically larger than the average cat, with a single horn on either side of their head and normally dark colored pelts. For abilities, they're rather stronger than your average cat and their claws are much longer. Vampire hybrids are rare because it's hard for vampires to produce since they have extremely low fertility. Their hybrid offspring has one red eye and longer fangs than average. Their abilities are fairly weak, limited to advanced speed and stealth.
Warlocks ; These cats make up a majority of the clan. They are fairly average, aside from the amulets they wear around their necks which indicate the animal spirit have been personally blessed by. This is chosen by StarClan when they first become apprentices. They then gain a certain attribute of that animal, ie. an a bat's echolocation, or an owl's vision. Warlocks call upon this magic and use it to aid them in every day life, though usually it wears them out after using the ability for a while.
Angels ; These monsters are very ironically named, for there is nothing pure or comforting about them. Though from first glance they appear like normal felines, their fur is always the palest white with eyes the color of pure gold. Their wings are mainly pale grays or soft blondes and made up of feathers. There is nothing evil about their appearance until one gets a closer look at their pupil-less eyes. Angels, as the clan has named these monsters - due to their ethereal beauty and wings - are actually in close relation to sirens. Instead of singing, however, they use their silver tongues to infect their prey with a sort of mind-numbing need to serve. They use their puppets until they lose their usefulness, then they destroy their souls permanently so that no necromancer could even hope to bring back even their ghost. These creatures are physically weak though, so if one can get past their allure, they are not much of a fight.
Lower Demons ; These are the main villains of HallowedClan. Hunters mainly train to fight lower demons, which are unable to possess creatures but take on their own forms. In this form, demons are distinctly cat-like, though much bigger. They have clear distinctions from regular felines however, like their eyes, which are a pitch black without whites. They also have a pair of horns atop their head, though how they're shaped depends on the demon. While in this form, the demon can use shadows to teleport short distances (about four fox-lengths) and have enhanced strength. They are very skilled in battle and can be tricky foes, though they can't really use much magic. They are weak to water blessed by StarClan and silver.
High Demons ; These are an extremely rare type of demon, which can't be exercised by merely one exorcist or even killed by two hunters. They are the demons responsible for possessions. Much like their lower counterparts, High Demons have a pair of horns and are larger than the average cat. Their claws are abnormally thick and long, protruding from their paws at all times. Instead of their eyes being pitch black, they gave glowing red rings right around where the outside of their pupil would be. They also have wings, thick and leathery. High Demons are much more dangerous than Lower Demons, as they are skilled both physically and magically. They can use shadows to teleport much farther (more like ten fox-lengths) and they have the ability to manipulate blood and make weapons/armor out of it. So the more blood they spill or the more they bleed the more varied the ability becomes. They are weak to water blessed by StarClan, silver, and the powers medicine cats are given.
Strigoi ; These bloodsuckers don't sparkle in the sunlight. The legend goes that they are the evil spirits who can't make it StarClan because of some crime they committed in their life, so their spirit possesses the forms of different types of animals and seeks out the blood of the living to sustain itself. Cats who are not given proper burials are said to become strigoi and it is the clan's job to hunt them down. One can tell a strigoi by their stone gray, lifeless eyes and the faded, gray color of their fur/feathers/skin/scales. They are completely colorless creatures that make them blend in with the fog but stand out in heavily forested areas. They are unnaturally quick and have a mouth full of fangs(if possessing a bird their beaks become incredibly sharp) in order to easily extract blood from their prey. They are weak to sunlight and silver.
Vampires ; A more tamer version of strigoi. Vampires are always feline, they cannot possess other forms like their darker cousins. Their fur can be any color or pattern but they usually take on duller colors, like grays, whites, light shades of brown, and ginger. Their eyes are always red, there are never any exceptions unless they are a Master. They can drink blood from prey but this isn't filling and they need to feed at least once every two moons on another feline, but only with consent. If there is no consent, the vampire grows ill and vomits up the stolen blood. These creatures can walk in the sunlight, though young ones will often sleep in later naturally and be more sensitive to sunlight hitting their eyes. While not immortal, they do live longer than the average cat by quite a bit. If bonded to a Master vampire they answer to them even before their leader. Vampires are still very sensitive to silver.
Master Vampires ; Not much is truly known about the Master Vampire, as there is only one the clan knows about and he tends to keep to himself. What is known is that he's a pureblood vampire, born a bloodsucker, not a half breed like regular vampires. He has abnormally long fangs, though only on top and his eyes are a deep violet - which turns red when he feeds. He is faster and stronger than even his half-bred counterparts. He is the only type of vampire that can turn another cat into a vampire, which bonds them to his will and makes him their Sire. This is an incredibly rare occurrence and more of a legend amongst the clan. He is more sensitive to the sunlight and can only come out during the night. It is unknown whether silver would cause him harm, no one has tried. The clan allows him to live on the edge of their territory and he leaves them in peace and sometimes aids them when hunting down violent creatures.
Ghosts ; These are certainly the most common entities around HallowedClan. These are transparent cats that float lightly above the ground instead of walking. The reason for their deaths are sometimes clear or they can appear as a younger version of themselves, it all depends on the will of the creature. Ghosts are mainly benevolent and the clan sees them mostly as companions, chatting with them and sharing stories. Some ghosts will go as far as to warn them when danger is coming or to help them find lost cats or particular herbs. Malevolent ghosts are the ones to look out for, though luckily it's easy to tell the difference. All ghosts have a small pulsing, glowing orb where their heart used to be. It can clearly be seen through their translucent skin and is normally a bright red. It turns inky black when ghosts turn violent or threatening. These entities have to be exorcised by the exorcists. Water blessed by StarClan is a great weakness of theirs and iron.
Wendigo ; These are rare, truly monstrous creatures. In life, they were starved for so long that they were driven into madness, which caused them to turn on their own kind. These cats are grotesquely tall, with long limbs and an extremely skinny body, where their ribs are clearly visible beneath their thin pelts. Their ears are long and drooping, often falling over their solid white eyes. Their mouth is full of fangs and another row of teeth just behind them. They are slow-moving and completely blind, but their hearing is heightened to unique levels. Wendigos can also use their voices to mimic others so that they can lure their prey into their waiting jaws. They are weak to fire and iron.
Zombies ; The living dead are quite harmless, as they usually can only be raised by our very own necromancers. They are not rotting corpses either, instead, they appear as they did in life, though they carry the scent of death on them and their eyes are sickly yellow. It takes a strong, well-practiced necromancer to raise a zombie that can speak, most can only raise non-verbal types. Zombies cannot get too far from their necromancer, about seven fox-lengths before they sink back into the ground. Their bite is incredibly deadly, while it won’t turn you into a zombie, they do have a poison that infects. The sickness takes two days to set in and another three to kill a full-grown cat but can be combated with (insert herb here).
Molly ; Our Molly of the Lake, is quite the mystery among the clan. There is a great debate, especially amongst the youth about whether she actually exists or not. Legend tells of a giant serpent with delicate blue fins and giant, glimmering eyes and even bigger teeth. Around Molly’s Lake, it is normal to see a large shadow beneath the water and many believe that this is Molly herself. Some say seeing her is a true sign of good luck.
Plots Main Plot
Green Leaf has just arrived in HallowedClan, bringing the heat, a bit more prey, and much more monster activity with it. While on hunting missions zombies that are not controlled by clan necromancers begin showing up, they're violent and try to attack the clan cats. A few cats end up infected and as it happens multiple times, the infection begins to spread through the clan. The zombie venom is spreading like a disease and the medicine cats only have an herb that works to slow down the poison. They must find an antidote or risk losing many of their clan mates. The bigger mystery is finding out who's controlling the zombies that are attacking the clan since they can only be controlled by necromancers - a StarClan given gift.
Side Plots
The Rock - There are some really strange sounds coming from the Forbidden Shrine. Even more so than usual. A patrol is sent to investigate, though they're told not to get too close. They end up finding a strange looking rock lying near the boundary of the shrine and they take it back to camp. What is this rock and is it related to the sudden racket from the Forbidden Shrine?

M i d n i g h t s t a r in camp || open ➣ The dim light of the church let shadows fall across the room, interrupted only by the dull light filtering in through the large circular strained glass window. The red, blue, green, and yellow light glows off the shiny white marble that makes up the alter near the front of the old stone building. In the center of this so named White Stone lay the fluffy black feline known as Midnightstar. She'd been up for a few hours, having rising well before the dawn. Her round yellow eyes reflected softly in the shadows, as she watched over the sleeping bodies of her clan mates. It was mostly quiet at this time of day and the Commander was enjoying the few moments of peace, carefully grooming her shoulder fur.
P u m p k i n p a t c h in camp || open ➣ The quiet exorcist lay still in her nest, curled tightly into her nest, far away from the warmth of most others. She had her thin tail wrapped around her body and her nose was tucked just beneath it. Though her green eyes were closed, Pumpkinpatch was not asleep. Instead, her mind was racing about all the things she had to do today. The clan's silver supply was getting low and it wouldn't hurt to seek the Elders out about their stores or even send out an excavation patrol to Rolling Boulder Creek. Their weapons were vital to the clan's survival after all and the majority of them were made from the shiny metal. A little huff escaped her maw as she slowly lifted her head, casting a faintly curious gaze around at her clan mates.
G r i m w o l f dawn patrol || open ➣ A single alert green eye scoured the path ahead of him as he neared Quick Silver Stream. He had been one of the unlucky few chosen to be roused awake before dawn to take on the earliest patrol. Luckily they were nearly finished by now, as they simply had to do a lap around the forest territory. Grimwolf had padded ahead of his patrol a little way, trying to keep himself away from temptation. The tom was not a morning type and with his short temper, this patrol was nearly a recipe for disaster. Luckily, none of his clan mates had managed to set him off today. Sighing grumpily, he padded cautiously sniffed the air around the bracken before pushing his way through - always on guard for any sort of predator. As a cat who'd seen much pain and suffering in his days, he knew not to take a peaceful morning at face value. Any sort of dark creature could be hiding in the shadows.
C r i m s o n f e a t h e r in camp || open ➣ Crimsonfeather sat beside the fresh-kill pile, eyeing a small mouse. Her throat burned with thirst but no fresh prey lay on the pile, which meant that the blood was stale. The rodent would make a decent breakfast but if she wanted a sip she'd have to go out and do her own hunting. It had been a while since her last drawing of blood, though she mostly ignored the urge until it was absolutely necessary. Lifting the small brown mouse by it's tail, she sets it at her paws and settles down to eat. Though she had been on moon-high patrol the night before, the molly found she couldn't sleep. Shrugging, Crimsonfeather tore into the soft flesh of the prey, quietly thanking StarClan for the meal.
H a w t h o r n p a w in camp || open ➣ Morning time had come once again and has energetic as Hawthornpaw could be while he was awake, the young warrior was quite the deep sleeper and more of a night owl than anything. He shifted slightly in his nest, mumbling incoherently under his breath, kicking out with his legs, before smacking his lips and falling back into a deeper sleep. The tan tabby lump was content in his nest, sprawled out comfortably without a care for those around him. He let out soft snores, every exhale shifting a leaf that had come loose in his bedding. Even still he slept on, blissfully unaware of how potentially annoying he was being. Oh, Hawthornpaw.
Z e p h y r p a w just outside camp || open ➣ The necromancer apprentice was huddled under an old decrepit bench that sat outside the camp, his electric blue gaze locked on the horizon blankly. Sleeping wasn't an option for Zephyrpaw most nights, as he was plagued by horrid nightmares that refused to let him be. Which was just typical of course. The tom's claws flexed out of his paws, sliding into the ground beneath his paws with ease. Dew coated his fur, he'd been stationary for hours. Distantly he realized that the clan would be rising right about now, most cats waking up and facing the day. He cast a fleeting glance back at the camp before shrugging and getting to his paws. He might as well head back inside, lest someone think he'd gone AWOL.
( Sorry this took so long, finally my starters are up! Jeez. xD )

Goldencrest -- in camp In a very comfortable looking nest was curled a pretty silver tom. He had his fluffy tail curled around himself and the golden feathers sprouting from his back and shoulders shimmered in the weak morning light. Goldencrest was never up early. Hell, he could sleep until noon if you let him. He didn't even stay up late! The tom was a master of getting things done in a timely manner and enjoying the free time that gave him to the very fullest. However, since he was a mercenary it was probably about time he woke up. Whether that be by himself, or someone else doing the job.
Duskhound -- dawn patrol "You're certainly in a rush!" Duskhound yawned, trailing after her brother at a slightly slower pace. She was completely unfazed by her brothers' grumpy demeanor, or simply just did not care if he managed to tick him off. It was often hard to tell with the overly friendly she-cat. Her silver claws clicked gently against any rock they skimmed against. She was well aware that danger could be around and corner, but that didn't mean she was going to be quiet. Even this early in the morning Duskhound was bright and ready to face the day.
Bleakpaw -- in camp An uneasy looking apprentice sat by near the fresh kill pile, but had no food in front of her. Bleakpaw never looked truly relaxed. She had this sense of distrust about her and would rarely even speak to someone else unless she was spoken to. Her wide eyes wandered around the camp and she shifted on her paws. Bleakpaw wondered silently if she was going to be sent on a hunting patrol, or if she was going to stay in camp. Neither sat well with her, but it wasn't like she could just go back to sleep.
Batpaw -- The Stone Circle Unable to sit still Batpaw had wandered around, ending up in the highest level of The Stone Circle. He wasn't doing much, but had decided that taking a few laps would get his blood going and any remaining drowsiness out of his system. His dark fur didn't stand out against the stone, but the long horn protruding from his head spiked out from his silhouette. The apprentice seemed to have a constant frown on his muzzle and was essentially what you'd expect from a moody apprentice.

G r i m w o l f dawn patrol || with Duskhound ➣ The mercenary flicks his ears back at the sound of his sister's familiar voice. His gaze, nearly half-blinded in his cloudy eye, turns on the dark gray pelt of Duskhound. "Don't want to rip anyone's ears off this early in the morning," he admitted in a low grumble, though his tense shoulders seemed to relax a bit in response to his kin's presence. Grimwolf was protective of his much more outgoing sister but he knew that she took on a much more free approach to her safety. Rolling his eyes, he went back to searching the shadows as the sound of the rapid current of the stream filled his ears. They had definitely gotten close to the border. The tom hated water, it made his skin crawl at even the thought of getting wet. Still, Midnightstar had asked him to lead this patrol and he was less keen on disobeying orders. C r i m s o n f e a t h e r in camp || with Bleakpaw ➣ Perking her ears, the vampiress recognized that there was someone else beside the fresh-kill pile this morning. Crimsonfeather turned her red gaze on the gray and white coat of the exorcist apprentice. Her mind ran through a few names real quick before landing on the proper one. "Bleakpaw? Would you like to share some prey?" she asked, her head tilted to one side ever so slightly. The silver and black marked she-cat seemed to recall that the apprentice was a bit on the timid side, confirmed by the twitchy way the younger molly was standing. Still, it was only polite to offer to share meals with her clan mates.

Duskhound -- dawn patrol The she-cat chuckled and hurried her pace to catch up with him "I don't think anyone would dare talk to you this early. Your grumpy mug makes it hard to talk to you on a good day." she didn't say this with any hatred or judgement in her tone. As Grimwolfs sister it was her duty to mock him given any chance that she had.
Bleakpaw -- in camp Bleakpaw jumped in surprise when she was spoken to. She couldn't just say no... could she? Crimsonfeather was older than she was, and it's not like she had anything else to do... After a long span of silence she eventually nodded her head. It was a small short nod, but a nod nonetheless. She padded over, legs stiff, and picked out a smaller piece of prey for herself.

G r i m w o l f dawn patrol || with Duskhound ➣ Stepping quietly through the undergrowth, Grimwolf made sure to scan the bank of the stream to make sure it was safe for his sister to just barge on into the open like he knew she was going to. He snorted humorlessly at her comment and picked his way over the tall grasses and flat stones that littered the ground. If only they really did know when to avoid him, maybe he'd get in less fights. "You'd think so, but it seems only you are wise enough to acknowledge it," he growls, throwing a dark look over his shoulder where the rest of the patrol had clearly lagged behind. His good eye narrowed to a near slit, clear irritation flying off his pelt in waves. Not at Duskhound - he was used to her teasing and would never lift a claw against her - but against the world it seemed, most days. C r i m s o n f e a t h e r in camp || with Bleakpaw ➣ The vampire watched the indecision cross the younger molly's face and for a tense moment she truly believed that Bleakpaw was going to deny her request. However, the apprentice merely nodded and grabbed a piece of prey from the pile before joining her. Crimsonfeather returned to her mouse, taking another bite and chewing slowly, thoughtful in the quiet morning. She hoped she didn't put the other feline out of sorts because of her dietary habits, the clan was usually pretty inclusive but she knew some had reservations. "Did you sleep well, Bleakpaw? On moon-high patrol there were some demons lingering a bit a bit close for comfort. They were making quite a racket but we weren't sure if it woke anyone here at camp?" Crimsonfeather asked, both curious and trying to make conversation with the nervous she-cat.

Duskhound -- dawn patrol "Don't be mean, it's an early patrol." Duskhound chastised, gently bumping her grumpy kin with a shoulder "Besides, if something does happen you'll be happy to have a full patrol." she insisted, ever to optimist. She walked beside him, a bounce in her step and her silver claws clacking merrily against the ground. Even if she seemed bubbly and go lucky her ears were still pricked, seemingly still listening to the forest around them. They were almost back though, and if something was that close to camp it would be a rare occasion.
Bleakpaw -- in camp A bit surprised Crimsonfeather had actually wanted to speak with her Bleakpaw said "I sensed the demons when they got close." she said softly, prodding at her prey with her paw. It was hard for the quiet she-cat to make eye contact with others, but she was speaking. As a hopeful exorcist Bleakpaw was quite in tune to when demons got close. Though she had only sense them because they had already been spotted by the clan cats "Were the demons... high leveled?" she asked, pushing herself to further question the other. Despite all her hang ups, she was genuinely interested in what it took to take down the spirits and demons their clan fought against.

G r i m w o l f dawn patrol || with Duskhound ➣ "Exactly, it's an early patrol. So if they could quit dragging their paws, we'd be back in camp that much faster," he growled, raising his voice to be heard of the bird calls and rustle of leaves. Grimwolf wove around a tree, moving away from Quick Silver Stream and back towards home. His paws itched to carry him quicker away from the water crashing behind him but the tom merely ignored the urge.
He rolled his eyes at his sister's cheer, though the tom was secretly soothed by her outgoing disposition. If ever Duskhound got too serious, Grimwolf knew a situation was truly severe.
The gray feline sighed, his moonstone amulet glowing around his neck as he used his abilities to heighten his hearing. The sound of his patrol behind him and regular forest sounds came back to greet him at first. But then, very faintly, he heard a strange noise. It was akin to wailing and only grew distantly louder. Pausing, the tom tensed, wondering what could have made the sound. "Duskhound..." he trailed off, listening intently. C r i m s o n f e a t h e r in camp || with Bleakpaw ➣ Crimsonfeather blinked, having almost forgotten that the introverted she-cat was a exorcist hopeful. Then again, Pumpkinpatch was also an exorcist and she was nearly mute so maybe it was just normal for cats of that ranking? The vampire tucked her tail close to her side, curiosity in her dark red eyes as she gazed at Bleakpaw.
"Ah, that would make sense. I'm sorry if their presence woke you," she mewed, before finishing off the small mouse she had grabbed for herself. Purring softly, the she-cat began to wash her paws, taking the time to make sure she picked any stray pieces of grass and dirt out of her fur.
"It was two lower demons, they were messing around and causing unnecessary raucous," the molly rolled her eyes to the other in exasperated humor, trying to make light of the whole situation. Luckily it had been an easy hunt and no one had been hurt.
( Take your time, Mint! )

work is killing meeee lol sorry for being so slow)
Duskhound -- dawn patrol Duskhounds ears perked and she looked around the forest. She flicked her tail and paused, waiting to see if the sound would grow closer "How unusual." she murmured. For the most part, the creatures they fought would not be so willing to give away their location like this. Due to the sound being so far away, she was just barely hearing it, the she-cat couldn't quite tell what it was.
Bleakpaw -- in camp After taking another small bite of her food she asked "Was is a quick battle?" she still had yet to fight a demon. Things had been too peaceful, well by their standards at least, and the apprentice hadn't had much of a chance to fight yet. Which honestly was fine for her but she did want to be able to hone her skills for the test to become and exorcist.

G r i m w o l f dawn patrol || with Duskhound ➣ Diverting from his original path back towards the church, the deep gray tabby took a few steps in the direction of the sound, straining his heightened hearing in a blatant attempt to identify it. The screeching wail was unlike anything he'd ever heard, definitely not feline in nature - too high pitched. The fur rose along his spine and a low growl built like thunder in his chest. They hadn't reached Little Rush River, still in the thick of the woods and the mercenary had just realized that they weren't too far off from the Forbidden Shrine. The sounds were coming from that general direction.
"I don't like this Duskhound," he growled to his sister, green eyes narrowed in the direction of the sound - which he had already precived as a threat. Grimwolf was sure nothing friendly was making that awful sound and his own silver tipped claws sunk deep into the ground. He refused to waltz into the situation blind, especially when the monster could be more than he and his sister could handle - not that he wanted to admit that out loud.
C r i m s o n f e a t h e r in camp || with Bleakpaw ➣ "Yes, it was. No one was injured, luckily," Crimsonfeather replied, thinking back on the battle that had taken place last night. It had been a small one because the lower demons were so inexperienced. The creature activity had been relatively light during New-Leaf, which wasn't really unusual. But now that Greenleaf was starting, the activity was sure to pick up and the vampiress prayed that they'd be ready to handle it.
"How's your training been, Bleakpaw? You're only a few moons out from your assessment, right?" the mercenary asked, tilting her silver head to the side as she analyzed the apprentice before her. Another exorcist would be a great help, especially with the predicted rise in creatures coming in with the warmer season.

( That's awesome of you to offer! I hadn't realized how truly young the clan cats were until you pointed it out. cx I have Hawthornpaw who could be open to parents or grandparents, also, I'm sure Bat and Zeph had parents at some point - though one was a demon - to be fair. xD Bleak is open for family I think, right, Spark? Crimson(&Pale) and Pumpkin could have unknown fathers within the clan, I suppose. Lotta single moms in the clan o.O
Sorry about the confusion, Brownie! The warlock description was old and hadn't been updated. Patrons were an old idea we had, sorry! I fixed the description. But yes, any animal as long as it's not too far out there - like dragons. cx )
