OVERVIEW
"Blessed are they who stand before The corrupt and the wicked and do not falter. Blessed are the peacekeepers, the champions of the just."
-Canticle of Benedictions 4:10
The threat of another Blight always lingers on the edge of Thedas, like a dark cloud that refuses to dissipate. Every few hundred years, the darkspawn rise again and swarm over the lands of Thedas, nearly swallowing it in their corruption. The first Blight lasted two-hundred years before the archdemon Dumat was slain. For a time, Thedas knew peace - until another Old God was corrupted. The cycle has repeated five times, with each Blight nearly destroying all of Thedas - save the last Blight, when the Hero of Ferelden personally slew the archdemon in Denerim. It was only through the hero's actions that Ferelden - indeed, Thedas itself - was saved from another archdemon's rage.
It's been another two-hundred years since the Fifth Blight. Despite the fact that few darkspawn have been spotted recently, tensions are rising between the nations of Thedas - and between mages, templars, and the Chantry. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, the darkspawn have been furiously searching for the next archdemon - and they've found him.
Now, in 11:22 Shadow, Lusacan has awoken.

Was a bit of a wild-child and didn't have much patience with authority or rules; was given to the Wardens, as is tradition in the Amell family, honoring Carver, the Champion's brother, who joined the Wardens. Not much talent for swordplay, but a master archer.

β« β« GLOW'S CHARACTERS β« β«
The Triplets
- Sammer
- Human
- 25
- Par Vollen
- allegiances: The Qunari (their mother was a human convert), The Grey Wardens
- warrior
- Tall (about 6'4), shoulder-length black hair, amber eyes, helmet of dyed red horse hair, slim but muscular, broad shouldered, fuller lips than Kenzin, aquiline nose, wields a shield and a spear
- Bit full of himself, confident, flirtatious, reckless, sensitive, very loyal. Chaotic neutral.
- The triplets' mother was "enlightened" by the Qunari as a pregnant female slave. She was adopted by the society and brought in for relearning. This was in a satellite city run by the Qunari which the triplets no longer remember the name of. The point is that they were raised together, despite tradition, because they were sent to the only nearby Tamassarin.
- Kenzin
- Human
- 25
- Par Vollen
- allegiances: The Qunari (their mother was a human convert), The Grey Wardens
- warrior
- Looks a lot like his brother except for some differences--finer features, green eyes, straighter brows, hair is shaved on the sides/back leaving a dark ponytail/bun, wields a crossbow, his armor has lion heads on the shoulder caps. Same height and build.
- More reserved than his brother but still rather full of himself, astute, sarcastic, clever. Lawful neutral.
- See Sammer's history.
- Audra
- Human
- 25
- Par Vollen
- allegiances: The Qunari (their mother was a human convert), the Grey Wardens
- warrior (though Audra identifies as female and is biologically female, she is referred to by the Qunari as male because she is a warrior)
- Tall but not as tall as her brothers (about 5'9), paler skin, long red hair, full lips like Sammer, slim nose, fierce amber eyes, slim but very strong build, some freckles, wears a headband with a fire emblem, silver armor, wields a broadsword.
- Strong willed, chip on her shoulder, loyal, intrepid, stubborn as a bull, eternal optimist. Neutral good.
- See Sammer's history.
The Templar
- Gemma Wilde
- Human
- 27
- Antiva, Ferelden
- Allegiances: The Circle of Magi. the Grey Wardens
- Templar
- Petite, very slim, built for agility and flexibility rather than strength, pale skin, skeptical green eyes, long brunette hair, sly smile, spidery eyelashes.
- Flirtatious, bossy, manipulative, charming, independent, ambitious, confrontational. Chaotic bad (not quite evil, but regularly wicked).
- Her aristocratic parents left her orphaned from a young age. She was raised to be an assassin from the age of nine by the House of Crows before she showed an aptitude and was sent to train as a templar. She is addicted to lyrium. Doesn't have much loyalty to the Circle, or to anyone really, but she makes friends with whoever she needs to.

β« β« VAKARIAN'S CHARACTERS β« β«
- Daya Rethost
- Qunari
- 27 (human year approximation)
- Rivain
- allegiances: Rivain, The Grey Wardens
- Female warrior, average height by Qunari standards, but towers over others (around 6'6"). Broad-shouldered, muscular physique. Gentle brown eyes, hooked nose, full lips, defined cheekbones, and full brows. She has shoulder-length tangles of dark hair. Her horns curl outward and upwards, nearly connecting to form a halo shape.
- Motherly at heart, selfless, caring, sympathetic, honest, will take a hit for you even if she doesn't know you. Can be seen as naive, and will not admit to defeat even if she knows she is beaten.
- Daya was born into slavery and transported to Raismuid. She does not remember where she is originally from. She and her Vashoth qunari brethren were put to work in labor camps for days on end, and since most never knew their parents, she subconsciously took on a motherly figure for them. The collective yearned for freedom, and eventually made plans to escape. Their desertion was mostly successful, and with that they decided to use their physical "training" for a better cause. This search naturally lead them to the Grey Wardens. Unfortunately, a majority of Daya's family passed on during the Joining.
- Rhys Fereven
- Elf
- 25 (human year approximation)
- Dalish, Clan Ghilain
- allegiances: Clan Ghilain, The Dalish, The Grey Wardens, Orlais
- Rogue
- Male, average height for elves (around 5'7"). Dark tanned skin, with sideswept red hair. Has simple Vallaslin representing Mythal, All-Mother and goddess of love. Relatively slender, but toned physique. Somewhat young looking for his age, with a round nose and face. He has a faintly noticeable underbite.
- Rowdy, doesn't care much for rules, adventurous and strong-willed. Can come off as stubborn and a bit troubled, but puts on a confident face to strangers and acquaintances. Honest to most, but can push it to the territory of rudeness if he doesn't respect who he's talking to. Has a passion for whittling and wood-working.
- Had a massive falling out with his Clan. Rhys was never one for traditions and stagnation. Instead of partaking in spiritual discovery, he'd much rather be climbing trees and out on hunts. This disdain for Dalish culture worsened when his mother fell ill, and his Clan members could not offer much to treat it - for it resembled darkspawn Taint. He blames their inaction for her eventual death, leading him to have a crisis of faith and questioning the very culture he was brought up on. He is now on a mission to avenge his mother, and equates killing darkspawn to that ambition.
