would you like some suggestions, 𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ ? also little blu ♥ here is my idea for the mating ceremony: happens in camp right at sunset, the deputy is the speaker, the medicine cat gives the couple Starclan's blessing. Each cat must choose their closest friend (acting as sort of a best man/bridesmaid) and they are called the Gift(/Trinket/Shell/whatever else) Bearers and once it's time to exchange words the mated cats will offer the other some type of trinket that they caught that is a symbol of their love, given to them by their Gift Bearer so that they don't have to carry it up themselves. Then they are relieved of their duties for the rest of the night and go to spend their first night in Crescent Cove as a sort of like honeymoon I also like the idea that they have to make a really big woven flower necklace to lay over the two cats like an infinity sign around their necks I figure the dialogue could go something like this: Deputy: "we gather under the wakening of Starclan so that they may witness these two souls merge for life. Herbtail will now adorn the two cats with a chain of flowers that symbolize their unity and give them Starclan's blessing." Then the medicine cat does it. Medicine Cat: "I bestow the blessing of Starclan upon these two cats so that their spirits shall always be connected, even in death. May the have a long, prosperous and fruitful life together." Deputy: "Now may the Gift Bearers step forward and recognize the relationship of Blankface and Furpelt." Gift Bearers: "We recognize the relationship of Blankface and Furpelt" (they can also have the power to say that they don't) Then they give them the gifts they got each other. The cats in love: "I give you this shell because it's pretty like you" Deputy, after the exchange of gifts: "With the influence of Starclan by your side, may you two live long lives together. Now share tongues to bind your fates." The cats in love: touch noses then share tongues the clan whoops and cheers then the two cats must travel to Crescent Cove with the flower necklace still around their necks. i was thinking maybe they also have to leave their trinkets just outside of Crescent Cove before spending the night there?? but yeah...these are my thoughts lol EDIT: or maybe it should be the medicine cat that runs it like we mentioned before since they won't really have a mating ceremony, which we could rename it Unity Ceremony?? but i just thought giving it to the deputy would be a nice little other perk the deputy gets to have |

i ended up figuring out suffixes, but thank you! i'm working on writing up descriptions for all of them now haha. i'm probably going to keep the forms simple and then extrapolate on them in the rp

Mating Ceremony - when a mommy cat and a daddy cat love each other very much. After a couple agrees to become mates, it is custom to plan a mating ceremony. This can take place a few sunrises after the proposal or the next day, depending on how busy the clan is. Both partners are helped prepare for the ceremony on separate sides of Crescent Cove, usually by their friends and families. Their fur is perfumed with mint, rosemary, and vanilla. Both cats are given lei's to wear around their necks and a single hibiscus to carry in their mouth. The whole clan gathers around the cove, though the cats nearest to the front are family and friend closest to the pair. Four cats for each cat will step up and give them a little blessing, small words of love and hope for a bright future, touching noses before stepping back into the crowd. The couple meets at the center of the curved cove, right near the water's edge, where the leader and medicine cat are waiting for them. The medicine cat says some words that bind the two before StarClan and the leader begins to chant their names (the rest of the clan joins in) while the cats exchange flowers, placed behind their left ear - where their heart rests, signifying that they are taken. Afterwards is a huge celebration with dancing around the waves, swimming, a feast, stories and games.
DANG. I LIKE RAINY'S VERSION BETTER THOUGH!! o.o

i also was picturing Jaguarpaw to be an all black kitty but totally forgot that Jaguar's aren't all black...and that's panthers...but i don't want to change his name ;o; |

i mean,,, odds are the clan cats probably have not seen a jaguar. so maybe they are just dumb and think jaguars are black. problem solved. |

i just finished Bluewave's form: this is what it looks like, i hope his history is alright with you, 𝓑𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫 ♥ 『 Bluewave 』 53 moons┊ ≈ ┊ tom ┊ ≈ ┊ heterosexual ┊ ≈ ┊ guard Normally adorned with an intense expression, Bluewave is a thick-furred, toned tom. His pelt is a gray-blue color overall, though he does have a white muzzle and a white patch on his chest that resembles an upside down triangle. The only color on the white parts of his pelt is his gray chind. Bluewave has pale green eyes with flecks of hazel. A long scar runs just under his left eye down to his chin from an unfortunate run-in with a fox back when he was younger. Bluewave is a quiet tom with a serious nature. It's hard to tell what he's thinking as he's always got a poker face. Bluewave is much more of an observer and this directly translates to his duties as a guard for the clan. He's strong-willed and isn't so easily tempted, he's also the kind of tom that makes sure others have had their meal before he gets something to eat. Bluewave is very thoughtful and meticulous about his work, one of his flaws being that he'll put his duty before his family. Despite this, he has a great love for his mate and his kits, at least attempting to find the time to visit them, but otherwise he might as well be a stranger to his own kittens. Bluewave was born to Floatingpetal and Wrasseslip along with his twin brother, Driftdune. Despite his mother being much younger than his father, she ended up passing before him after getting sick and being unable to recover. Moons later Bluewave and Driftdune were newly made warriors, both being guards and one day while on patrol they ran into a fox. The two fought the predator off, both sustaining injuries but Driftdune succumbed to his sunrises later. Sometime after, Bluewave had asked Windsurf to be his mate, the two eventually having kits after trying for some time. He named Dunepaw after his brother. Windsurf┊ ≈ ┊ His father is Wrasseslip His sons are Jaguarpaw and Dunepaw, his daughters are Chiapaw and Berrypaw┊ ≈ ┊ n/a R A I N Y

Tern is open for siblings, parents, crush- anything.『 Conchpaw 』 7 moons┊ ≈ ┊tom┊ ≈ ┊pansexual┊ ≈ ┊apprentice While he doesn't share the same pointed angles as the shell he is named after, Conchpaw does possess the same light and fetching colors. His figure is soft and curved, and his fur is a pleasant orange. Faint stripes reveal him to be a tabby, while two mild yellow eyes sit evenly within an agreeable looking face. His most eye-catching feature is his nose, which is a startling, bright pink. His personality is also agreeable, though he may seem foolish to some. For better or for worse, he is known for his friendly nature and naivety. His faith is unblinking, and his optimism is thoughtless. While his innocence may charm some, it comes at a disadvantage in reality. He lacks foresight, and he easily bends beneath peer pressure, as he trusts that his best interest is being kept in mind. As this has not always been the case, he is forced to think objectively. Thankfully, however, this also helps him understand his clan-mates, as he aims to sympathize and support them, as they have supported him.
Conchpaw was born to a single mother and an unknown father. Without siblings, he has often relied on the other members of his clan for the comfort of familiarity, particularly so after the slow death of his mother, who had been declining since his birth. Her yellow eyes, which are rather pale and watered-down, are wary but expressive, and have always revealed more than she would like them to. She prefers to keep her feelings private, after all. Her disposition is retiring, and her manners are sober. She is a practical individual, though, and despite her inherent meekness, she is capable of expressing profound courage and dogged determination. Her resolve is deep, and it has made her a capable warrior. Growing up, she listened to countless stories about the dangerous cliffs near their home. bluewave's backstory HURTS. yeah sorry i added some details to wrasse's form and then went to make dinner haha, i should have mentioned something. i have 4 warrior-aged cats and i'm more than happy with any of them having apprentices; though plum probably shouldn't mentor one of her own kids.

that makes it even sadder. if one of blue's kits gets sick during The Plague wrasse is going to become a fretting hen. he will haul his old arthritic body all over the territory looking for potential cures. he comes back with washed up litter. "perhaps this magical object (it's a plastic spork) is a gift from starclan that will save them!"
