So I had this really awesome ides that's kind of inspired by some of Eucalyptus Spalsh's videos on youtube.
So basically there is a clan of cats who live in the forest outside of a lab that is used for experimentation on animals, mostly cats and dogs.
There is a series of serums that are used in the lab and depending on each different animal, the cat will either mutate into a horrid beast that the scientists use to protect themselves and to attack anything close by the lab, or they end up with powers, odd abilities, or even odd features.
The beginning plot of this will be when they clan hasn't even been established yet and there are simply cats and dogs being held and experimented on.
As time passes some of the creatures figure out ways to use their powers as a way to escape and so they start to plan.
The special thing about this clan is that it has both dogs and cats living and working together, and even inbreeding.
The first plot will of course be the escape from the lab and the setting up of the clan itself. It will be established during this time that every other new moon, a patrol will break into the lab and free more of the animals.
So. What do you guys think??

I actually have something kinda similar to this that I had wanted to try. Where cats and dogs could interact with each other and bc the plants where they were at were radioactive or something they could talk to each other. And most of my cats who are in CloudClan originated from the clan I had made if that makes sense.

Somewhat. I had a bit of a different idea though. They can speak with each other and interbreed because of the experiments that were performed on them.

The Lab:
Surrounded by thistles, and half-hidden behind a red and green tangle of rampant ivy, no one should ever have entered the dilapidated property when stumbled upon, deep in the woods. The door was bolted from the inside and there was no glass in the window frames. The air within was dust-filled and stale, and all was dark and gloomy. The house had that spooky charm, it was dull and quiet, cobwebs everywhere, chandeliers suspended from the ceiling and that odd knock no one could seem to explain. Along the outside of the home, a tall, concrete wall surrounded everything, barbed wire spiralling out along the top and even down the walls a bit, making the home seem even more decrepit and sinister. Within the walls of the old home sat cages upon cages full of odd looking creatures that had been mutated and put there. A single press of a button would release them and allow them to attack any intruders or threats. Some of the more well trained of the beasts walked around patrolling, each one having a designated scientist who took care of them. Deeper inside the structure was a single door. The door was solid metal. Nothing was going to budge it. The surface was flat and shiny like the outside of a stainless steel refrigerator. There was no handle, no lock, no hinges, nothing to get a grip on. The top and bottom, even the sides, lay so utterly flush with the frame that there was no hope of jemmying it open. Only the passcode could successfully open this door. Beyond lay a sterile white staircase that spiraled down into the darkness of the ground before ending in a wide room with several others branching away from it. The desks and benches in the laboratory could only be described as archaic. They were like something out of the 1950's. But all of the modern equipment in it was state-of-the-art. There were stainless steel centrifuges and PCR machines. There was a huge walk-in refrigerator and several water baths. There was a double door autoclave and two enclosed areas with flow-hoods. There was a walk-in shower for chemical decontamination and several canisters of gases. My guess was that it was some kind of biological science laboratory, and this guess was correct... in a way. Several of the rooms were filled with more cages that were stacked all the way to the roof, machines blinking and sounding off. Cats and dogs lay in whimpering, shuddering masses, some hooked up to different mechanisms and others even tied up and being pumped full of some kind of serum. The entire place was a horror show, and the creatures that lay atop, past that thick metal door, had once been mere dogs and cats just like these ones. Humans prowled around in white coats with wooden boards and needles full of liquids. They pricked at the creatures, ran tests, and made it where many within the facility wished they were dead instead of going through this torturous experience. The only time when there was any form of peace was once every day... though the days could only really be counted by the intake of serums and the feeding times. The humans would all suddenly leave and the lab would fall into a terrifyingly still silence, only split open by the occasionally beeps of the machines and the soft murmurs of speech between both dogs and cats. This needed to change... the lab was horrible, and everyday either led to more of the animals coming back with strange powers or features, or them not coming back at all.

Territory:
The forest hums with life all around me. I twirl about, gazing up at the canopy, searching for the birds that sing sweetly. The sun breaks through the cracks, lighting up the dirt path ahead of me, decorated with outgrown roots, wildflowers and fallen leaves that crunch beneath my bare feet. I trudge on, taking in the fragrance of minty grass and the damp earth. Each breathe is like water, fresh and cleansing, flowing freely into my lungs. In this forest I am with my tribe of wood and leaf, among the giants who's roots hug the earth. It is a place of ancient souls, of the creatures who dwell with the sweet sounds of moving water and bird song. Upon the forest floor lie trees of yesteryear, fallen in storms long forgotten. The seasons have been harsh, stripping away the bark and outer layers, yet rendering them all the more beautiful. They have the appearance of driftwood, twisting in patterns that remind one of seaside waves; even the colour of the moss is kelp-like. They are soft, damp, yet ones fingers come away dry. The oaks are several houses tall, reaching toward the golden rays of spring. Birdsong comes in lulls and bursts, the silence and the singing working together as well as any improvised melody.
Camp:
The tree is the grand poem of the living world, a beauty that encourages the spirit to dance though words, to make our odes to it's branches that spread heaven-bound. And in the strong light of the new day it creates a kiss for the senses in those moving leaves, the thousand green hues and the soft whispering in the wind. And settled around the great trunk of this ancient tree was a clearing of grass and flowers, a thin stream flowing around the edges and the wall of oaks and bracken rising up as though fighting to protect the ancient oak.
The dens of the camp are often unused, many preferring the sleep out under the stars unless the weather took a turn. When this happened, dens were indeed used.
-The leaders of the clan, one a dog and one a cat, share an old hollow that was carved out from between the roots of the oak, the entrance shielded by a large bush of roses. -The deputies of the clan had their own den as well, and just like the leaders, one deputy was a cat and one a dog. The den for this pair is settled in the boughs of a huge bracken bush that was made even bigger by the pair and then reinforced with vines and mud. -The healers of the clan make their home with a beautiful clearing that branches off from the main one, a line of tall stones braced against each other to make a rocky 'hallway' of sorts that leads over the small stream around the main part of camp and into a smaller clearing that was blanketed in moss and flowers. A hollow tree to the left is used for the nests of the healers and to store away the herbs, while the other nests are nestled beneath a stony overhang that juts out from a sudden cliff of the other side of the clearing. -The Warriors of the clan make their home with a completely paw-made den of huge stones, vines, mud, and brambles. The ground is dug away to make a dip inside the give a bit more room for the taller inhabitants of the clan. -The Trainees of the clan sleep within the remains of a fallen oak, an oak that is dubbed the Ancient's Daughter and is also used by the leader for clan meetings. The Trainees of the clan are seen as the next generation of life and protection and to be housed in the Ancient's Daughter is an honor given to them so that they may be given strength by the spirit of the forest so as to become strong fighters and hunters for the clan that is their home. -The Queens and Kits of the clan are sheltered in the only underground den. The entrance is marked by a tunnel found beside a huge, solid gray stone that has a large flower bush beside it. The den was dug out by only a single member of the clan, a huge dog who ended up with abnormally huge paws and claws that aided him in digging it quickly. The tunnels goes down for only a few lengths before opening up into a huge of sorts that has been decorated with feathers, stones, shells, moss, and is even lit up by fireflies that were caught and put into the den to give light, the bugs trapped in there by the powers of the only permanent queen. -The flower bush that sits beside the stone which marks the nursery is used to house the elders of the clan, who are greatly respected and cherished by all within the camp as it takes great strength to make it to such an age.
Landmarks:
Forbidden Woods: The southern area of the forest was one of those places which had no palpable reason to exist. It was a creaking shack created by nature to serve as a reminder that things could always be much, much worse. The unnatural, choking mist that swirled and sprawled on the forest floor was the first thing that spoke of a strange sort of wrongness. The sickly white substance seemed to possess liquid properties which only reminded of the maggot-like texture of the eyes of a dead man who had been forgotten in his apartment for a few months, ready to burst at the slightest touch. The smoke made no sound however and only parted to swallow up her feet as she marched upon the giant dead, festering eyeball of the forest floor. The sound of mushy and dead leaves whispered from under the skin of the mist. And then, within the center of these woods, lies the lab that still gives so many of the clan horrific nightmares.
Vibrant Lake: The small path on the northern side of the territory widened into a multicolored beach with every size of rock - from boulders big enough to sit on, to grains that got stuck between your toes. Beyond was a flat lake, the far shore a thin line in the distance growing into a sheer cliff face. Looking through the waters of the lake was like peering though perfect glass, unsmudged by the sticky prints of small children. The stones at the bottom were as many hues of brown and grey as there are on a painter's wheel, likely more. All along the edges of the lake, the spring flowers are chaos in perfectly choreographed order, they are art and science, yet also with a magic that reaches to the core. In the silence of the woodland they are the song for the eyes, the brilliance this world needs. Even under cloud they are sunshine, a deeper hue yet there in full form.
Turquoise River: On the eastern side of the territory, the river is a ribbon of living turquoise, boldly flowing amid the green of the forest. No matter the chatter of the trees it is steady, welcoming, refreshing. On quiet days it can be heard to whisper its wisdom, on stormy days it is lost to all but those who listen closely. The river always talks, always speaks the wisdom of the water to anyone who treasures its musical words. Even on the rainiest of days it can heard beneath the splashes, a sacred melody, always moving, always present. The river has a strength that is reflected in the trees. It flows on with confidence, taking the form of the river bed, billions of drops moving together. The community of trees stands tall, trunks reaching into the blue above, light filtering through leaves like perfect stained glass. The river flows with perfect consistency, an artery of blessed water. It feeds this place, quenches the thirst of the mighty beings rooted to the rich soil. Together they are perfection, the water of life and the community of flora and fauna.
The Forbidden Stones: Settled only a short way from the sight of the lab, the boughs of the cemetery twist like contorted bones, writhing in a silent scream. Beneath them lie the cold stones, each marking a dwelling place in which no-one is home. I'm never bothered by the howl of the wind until I must traverse this place, then it's all I can hear. The cemetery is a jumble of stones, as if the burial places were chosen by throwing the shovel in the air and digging where it landed. They sit at jaunty angles to one another, no two of them the same shape or size. All that is left of the fine people of this cemetery is the decrepit stones. Under the soil is nothing but more soil, even bones don't last that long in the damp ground.
The Lone Cottage: The cottage looked as if it was straight out of a fairytale with a happy ending or a picture book for little kids. It looked like many things. It was rusty, old and dusty, but rather welcoming. The whole house was made of dark red bricks. A tiny stove, two small wooden chairs, a circular table, a not-so-large matress and that was quite it. Hedges and vines and honeysuckles and so much more. A green gate with paint falling off was the door to the property. Then came a narrow dirt path with small pebble, a tiny pond with lilypads and a few ducks, maybe a frog or two. A two-metre hedge surrounded the property. Vine grew up the archway and the arched wooden door with brown planks. The grass was green and yellow, scorched by the hot, blazing sun in the summer. Two huge trees, one with red and orange leaves. One of the trees was hollow. A family of squirrels lived there. Occasionally, a woodpecker or an owl would come to visit too. A single elderly human lives here with a fox who seems both tame and wild, wise and idiotic. The fox is the one who taught the cats and dogs hoe to come together and survive as a clan, and he is one of the only outside friends of the clan. The elderly woman with whom he lives being the only other.

Vertexclan maybe?
Vertex means the highest point; the top or apex. Upon escaping the members of the clan find a new life and reach an apex of being, finding a new way of life and finally actually living.
So Vertexclan might be the best we can do name wise

I don't want really long rules but I also don't want really short. I want each rule to have a certain point and then the rule is explained
Rules:
Activity. I know that everyone in this world has a life and right now more than ever, you may have trouble finding time to get on. If you are someone who is only going to be on once a week then this clan may not be for you. I need everyone to try and be on at least 3 times a week and for those who hold higher positions, be on at least 5 times a week. This will ensure that the clan continues to grow and move on in the rp.
Realism. These cats and dogs are lab experiments. They have been injected with a serum that mutates them into new beings. For those who react negatively, they transform into bony, thin creatures with faces that split open to reveal long, sharp teeth that can tear through flesh in an instant. This clan is in no way realistic but I also don't want you to go to crazy. You can have some odd hues to fur, a character who has bio luminescent markings or can even change the color of their eyes depending upon their emotions. Still, do not have rainbow colored fur or powers that enable them to control someone else's character. If you want them to have a power than can cause them to take control of someone, then you must clear that power with me and you CANNOT take advantage of said ability. As long as you don't go crazy when making your characters, you'll be just fine. So give them horns, wings, scales, a power over an element, the ability to foretell storms or births! Go crazy! But not to crazy.
Joining. Joining should be done through the joining page. If you post your form on the main page you will be asked to delete your post and instead move it to the correct page. If you do not do this then your form will not be read through or determined for joining.
Forum Rules. I expect ALL forum rules to be followed here. If you cannot do so then you will be removed from the clan and reported to a moderator. I will not warn you if you are not following the forum rules, as those are rules that should be followed no matter what and if you cannot follow those, then I cannot trust you to follow the rules that I have made specifically for the clan.
Literacy. Yes, not all of us are the perfect writers or can always come up with entire paragraphs to type up. Still, I expect you to put effort into your replies and try to type at least three sentences per reply per character. I also hope that you can double check through your writing just to be sure it can be understood and to try your best to not make that many grammatical errors; though one or two is of course okay as I have some now and then as well. After all, we can't be perfect.
Bloodlines. In a clan that is just starting out, bloodlines are super important for anything and everything. I want bloodlines established early on! If two cats have a design that is similar then go ahead and ask if they can be siblings. The same goes for if two different cats have powers that are alike as the similar DNA would have reacted on the same level in the two cats and given them similar features or abilities, though this is not always the case in family, as siblings and family can have completely different abilities or features from the serum.
Drama. The entire backbone of any and all rps! I absolutely love drama in a roleplay!! I love to be a part of it, I love to see it happen, and I absolutely loves when it causes a standing effect on those that it occurs strongly too. That being said, if you want something such as a fire or flood to happen, or an attack of the mutant creatures from the lab on the camp, then I ask that you clear it with me first. Anything else though, such as your cat running into a fox, or two cats having a fight and ending up hating one another, go right ahead!
Kind. Do NOT let any fights or sour emotions between characters leak out and cause you to be rude to anyone on here. Whatever happens in the rp is purely that, an rp. It is not real and should not affect your relations outside of the rp strand itself. If you do have something to say that is rude about another person, then please alert me and I'll set up a private message and see if we can resolve it without a fight. On the page itself I expect kindness and respect toward everyone. And no hate either! Everyone, no matter their gender or sexuality, is allowed here. And if you have an issue with that, then just don't join.
Fun. Have fun! That is the most important thing ever! What is an rp without fun? If you don't have fun doing something then you won't want to continue on with it so go ahead, let loose, start some drama, and simply have fun. And don't forget to put LAB EX in your joining form as the password, just so I know you actually read through the rules.
