((ohh everything makes sense now, thanks rainy!))
Armeria || at Jagged Bluffs
Armeria looked over her shoulder at the newcomer, tilting her head curiously. Didn’t smell of clan - another outsider like herself, then?
“We’re going fishing for apprentices,” she mewed around her root, then followed the clan cat to the edge of the cliff, peering down at the small cat clinging to the branch. She lifted her root and lowered it carefully over the side, testing its length. It was long, looking like it would just barely reach the apprentice. Armeria pulled it up again and lowered it to her feet to speak.
“I think the safest plan,” she said, “would be to lower another cat down with this root here to grab your apprentice. Otherwise, it’d be a risky jump for your apprentice to the root.” Armeria looked over at the other cats, a couple of which looked as young as the one precariously hanging on. Other apprentices, perhaps? “We’ll need muscle to hold on to this end,” she said. The cats seemed a little shaken - would they be able to hold on, she wondered? Her gaze traveled over to the new, strange cat, and pointed with her tail. "Might need to recruit you, too. Wanna help out?"

Sylver//at Jagged Bluffs Sylver shrugged. “It seems dangerous, and as you can see, I’m not very fit. But if you really need my help, why not?” Sylver eyed the apprentice, then the root. “Tilt it more that way. If a cat jumps how you’re holding it now, they could fall themselves, even a strong cat.”

jagged bluffs || with no one in particular, but mentions the group ➣ Pearlpaw felt like her shoulders would give out at any second and her body shook vigorously, like a loose leaf in the wind. Her attention was focused entirely on keeping her claws dug into the slick bark, afraid that if she looked away for one moment she'd lose her grip. Panic strangled her lungs and made it difficult to breathe, she really didn't know how long she was going to be able to hold on. The branch was waving in the wind and it already seemed to be ready to break at any second. It certainly wasn't made to hold her weight, even though she was just a small thing. Honestly, her being tiny for her age is probably the only reason she'd lasted this long. Her round blue eyes were full of terror as she whimpered loudly, her hind paws scrabbling for a purchase, and finding none. Pearlpaw was convinced that she was going to die now. At least Reefpaw was safe.

Coralshine -- Jagged Bluffs -- W/Trenwing, Reefpaw, Armeria, Sylver
Coralshine blinked as yet another cat came by to see what all of the commotion was about, she was starting to get more anxious, worried that a crowd might begin. Her fur bristles and while she wants to tell them to go away in an attempt to protect her clanmates, she knows they need the help. Her eyes fall on the stick that Armeria brought, blinking a bit as she listens to the rogue's plan.
"We should have others near the edge in order the grab Pearlpaw right away instead of trying to get her to climb over the edge while hanging on to the stick." She spoke up immediately after, her ears perching forward as she hears Sylver speak up. "If you don't think you'll be much help then please step away." Coralshine said, her tone soft but there was a certain bite to her words, nervous about how many strange cats were beginning to gather around.
As she thinks about what else Armeria said, she gives her front paws a flick as she tries to think about how much strength she has left in her. "I'm not sure if I'll be strong enough to hold on to the stick, but I can be ready to grab her when she gets close enough." Coralshine volunteered, looking at the others to hear what they had to say.
Reefpaw -- Jagged Bluffs -- w/Sharkpaw
As his brothers scent surrounds him, and the herbs start to kick in, Reefpaw feels himself finally able to relax. The poor, young tom, felt absolutely exhausted, but he knew the fight was not over. Their sister was still hanging on for dear life and he knew he would not be able to fully relax until she was off the cliffside.
With his brother still nestled into his shoulder, Reefpaw turns his head to nuzzle Sharkpaw, allowing himself to sink into the others soft fur. He sighs and gives a short nod, still frowning and trying to ignore the pain. "She's strong, she'll get up." He told his brother outloud, as if saying it will make it true.

Armeria || at the Jagged Bluffs
"...Sure," Armeria said in response to Sylver, clearly annoyed at being told what to do. "In that case if you want to be one of the cats that is by the edge cliff to help the apprentice up, by all means." She nodded at Coralshine's words. "I can be the cat at the end of the root," she said, lightly flexing her muscles. "If any cat wants to hop on and be lowered down the grab your apprentice, go for it. Brace yourself against the edge of the cliff, and I'll hold you." She paused, going over the scenario in her mind. "Don't let go of the cliff, though, or I'll definitely drop you. Go as if you're climbing down, the root'll be your safety line. Your apprentice can climb on once you're close enough." With one more cat on the end of the root, they'll definitely be able to reach the unfortunate little one.
The wind carried the whimpers of the young cat to Armeria's ears, and the she-cat couldn't help but feel a heartstring get tugged. "Better hurry. Don't know how much longer your apprentice can hold on." She looked over the edge at the bundle of white fur clinging to the cliff. "We're coming for you! Hold out for just a few more heartbeats, alright? Count your breaths, we'll be there in thirty." She turned her gaze to the others, looking for any objections. She gripped the larger end of the root firmly in her jaws, flattening herself against the ground for stability and bracing her large front paws on the root for extra support. Once a cat grabbed the other end and started down the cliff face, she'd inch forward to let them down.
