"Hah! I've got no problem with making light of a tense fight. I'd like to see anyone try and mess with me." Buzzardfall snickered, the confidence in her voice booming as she mewed. "It's amazing how our apprentices managed to scale the Sky Oak in the rain. It goes to show that they were more than ready, huh?" She looked up proudly at the great tree, eyes soft with warmth. "Firescorch may seem reserved, but I like to think that I was able to make him feel like a Warrior, the training we did together." "Yes," Firefang agreed. "Scaling the Sky Oak is the highlight of any apprentice's training. And to do it in the rain... how brave!" he said, looking up at the tree's branches rattling in a faint breeze. "I spoke with Firescorch a little after he become a warrior. I figured we had our names in common. He'll be a great warrior, I can tell." He glanced at her. "Training an apprentice with a personality so different from your own must be hard." “I’m sure your apprentice was no breeze in the canyons.” Buzzardfall humored, before she admitted. “He was always so serious about his training. If anything, it taught me how to work with cats not like me, and I hope I taught him vice-versa…” She smiled at Firefang. “I liked the group training we did often. You know, I always liked talking with you most of all.”

Quickwing hadn’t been paying attention and jumped a little when the other shecat landed next to her. She gasped lightly with wide eyes before realizing who it was. She rolled her eyes and gave her chest a quick embarrassed lick. “No of course not!” Plumwillow hid her bright grin with her paw, looking at Quickwing with a playful gleam in her eyes. “Drat. I’ll just have to try harder next time.” She blinked then, conversational and warm. “I heard that Seedflight’s kitting went well. Did you see the kits? Were they absolutely adorable?” She purred. Quickwing nodded her head. “I saw them for a second. I didn’t want to get in the way of her trying to rest.” She spoke. “They’re very cute.” She nodded. “But I’m so awkward around kits.” She admitted with a sigh.

Pah, I bet you’re not so bad.” Plumwillow assured, her eyes bright as she looked at the cat she was so enamored with. Fur warm and eyes batting with a fluster, she admitted. “I bet those kits will adore you, they’ll brag about their aunt. I don’t blame them, you’re easy to adore.” She admitted, before realizing she had been coming on too strong. Averting her eyes, she stammered quickly. “I mean! Uh!… That, uh. Aha…”

Viperpaw nodded, eager to try and impress her mentor, "Alright," She replied simply and hoped up onto one of the shorter rocks before leaping a scaling a few of the taller ones. There were a few times where she sliped and on some of those she fell to the recent rock, but she continued to climb untill reaching one of the higher up rocks and stared back down at Lilth for advice or approval. “Oh yes, dear. We can work with this.” Lilith hummed, watching Viperpaw with a curl of her tail. “You lack grace, but we can fix that real fast. The best fighter is not the strongest cat. It’s the most skilled one.” She demonstrated by leaping from stone to stone with speed and elegance, her paws not missing a single step. She stopped on a stone below Viperpaw, mewing. “You’ll leap up and down these stones until you don’t stumble a single step.” She decided. (sorry I didn't answer for so long, I was a bit busy and didn't get a chance to answer to skyclan's page) "Okay then," Viperpaw mewed simply before hoping down and trying again. It had taken her quite a few times before she finnally managed to do it, seven to be exact, but finnaly she managed to get up to the top of the rocks with the same speed and elegance as Lilith, not as good, of course, but much better then the first time, she looked down a Lilith, who was watching from the ground, "How was that?" Viperpaw was pretty tired after going up and down the rocks, and she was still half starved, so she was ready to have a quick break and meal before starting to train again, as long as Lilith approves, I hate being bossed around but if I want to join I guess I'll have to listen.. Viperpaw thought while annoyance flashed into her mind.

"Didn't realize I had one." Mudwasp said, lifting his head to look at her. He gave a curious flick of his ear, wondering just what it is that everyone is saying about him. "Guess that means I'm just popular." He teased, not really caring if others talked about him or not. Frostlight blinked at him, "Well, I think I can kind of understand Echowing's anger. Granted, that doesn't mean I agree with how she handled revealing the truth about her and her siblings' birth, but I guess she has a right to be upset." Frostlight mewed, giving a small shrug as she started to pad towards camp. "But why would Mudwasp be angry? He's really never had a reason for any kind of anger, not that I know of anyways." Rainpaw nodded and steadied her paws, spreading them as evenly as she could and crouched down. Her belly brushed the ground lightly and she tried to keep her tail as still as she could, but it twitched ever so slightly every now and then. "Well, one tends to get a reputation with a mentor like yours. I've seen your skills before, and as much of a drag as it may have seemed, there's a reason why you were chosen to train Pondpaw those few moons she was with us, rather than a Senior Warrior." Echowing shrugged, speaking bluntly yet honestly. "You're popular, don't worry." She snorted with a small tone of teasing. "It's..." Withermist's muzzle scrunched lightly as he tried to get his words together properly. "The air around them, just... it feels like smoke. Heavy, everywhere. Sometimes, pain and arrogance build anger. Mudwasp is..." Withermist trailed off, ears falling as he sighed softly. "Something. I don't know, perhaps I'm seeing wrong." He didn't want to spook her, but he was truly concerned for her brother's sake, since Frostlight loved Mudwasp, and that meant Withermist loved him too in his own way. Starlingdust stood to inspect her apprentice's stance, positioning her paws carefully and pulling her legs to fit her into a perfect stance. She pawed gently at her tail, laughing softly. "Gotta keep this thing still, alright? I know it's second nature to let it twitch and flick, but you must work hard to fight that instinct." Mudwasp's tail thumped on the ground in amusement, "Well, I'm not too sure on what I'm going to do with this newfound popularity of mine, so you're more than welcome to take it from me." He said with a snort, resting his head on his paws. "Cobrafang was a good mentor, so I guess I see your point. Twigpaw is lucky to have him instead of Nettlesting, he'll learn a lot more than what that lazy tom can ever show him." "Hm. I'll try talking to him later if I can pull him away from Echowing for awhile." Frostlight said, pausing as they reached the camp entrance. "Maybe I can get him to tell me what's on his mind and set him straight. He might be arrogant, but he does listen when it counts." Rainpaw nodded her head and forced her tail to hold still, resisting the urge to let it keep twitching. "R-right, got it!" She mewed, fixing her stance at Starlingdust's instructions.

I can see that you're hungry. We're not supposed to eat while out on a hunt, but I think we can bend this tiny rule for you. A little mouse, or so. I can catch you one." She offered sweetly.

Echowing rolled her eyes lightly, before she gave a sharp scoff. "Nettlesting is a pain in the tail. He's stuck in his own head, and I can feel the way he looks at me." She grumbled, knowing that there was a threatening energy to Nettlesting simply by how little he seemed to care for the Code, Starclan, the Dark Forest, all of it. He made it seem so easy, and a secret part of her envied him immensely. "Be careful..." Withermist murmured softly, tensely padded back into camp as his eyes darted around for Spiritstar. He often caught the leader's stares lately, and he knew why. He didn't like the way she looked at him. He also didn't like the way Echowing looked at everyone around her. Starlingdust nodded her approval. "Much better. We're going to practice leaping. I want you to leap from the rock, and then back onto it, before preforming your stance. Let's do it a few times over, yeah?" She offered.

"Hmph, well, Twigpaw's better off with Cobrafang either way." Mudwasp said, having always held great respect for his former mentor. "What about your mentor? Did you have a pretty good relationship with Swallowsong?" He asked.
"Don't worry, I can handle my brother." Frostlight said as she followed him into camp. "He might be all sharp tongued and hard headed, but he's not as scary as he likes to think he is." She looked around the camp for either of her parents or siblings as she spoke, excited to tell them about her new mate. She saw Mudwasp with Echowing first, but decided to let him have his time with the she-cat instead of bothering him with something he most likely wouldn't care about. Frostlight spotted Shadowmask sunning herself outside the nursery, her belly starting to show signs of her second litter already. "There's Shadowmask, now I wonder where Wildstorm could be." She murmured, looking around for her father.
"Okay." Rainpaw said, readying herself again before she took a leap off of the rock. She stumbled a bit when she landed, but managed to get her footing back under control. She quickly turned around and leaped back up on to it, dropping back into the stance as she landed.

"Swallowsong was fine..." Echowing murmured, inwardly missing her mentor's attention and training. Losing Swallowsong had stuck her more than she thought, and a part of her envied her mentor for not having to deal with all the pains of today. She shook her head lightly. "She trained me well. I'll never take that for granted." She looked at Mudwasp. "Twigpaw is certainly in much better paws now." With both Cobrafang and the Dark Forest training him, she was sure he would be a useful part of the new Clan. "He may be training Acepaw, or perhaps resting." Withermist mumbled softly, before his eyes swiveled to the side and his ears flicked. "Oh. I see him. He is cleaning stones out of the Warrior's den." He nodded to where he saw the tom across camp. "...Shadowmask first?" "Careful." Starlingdust mumbled on instinct, concerned for Rainpaw, but soon relaxing when the she-cat stood back up. Her first attempt was messy, but successful in the end. "For the next ones, focus on keeping your paws spread for balance when you land your leap. It'll be easier to turn around and leap back up."

"Well, she was a strong warrior, and she made you as strong as she was." Mudwasp said, his eyes trained on the ongoings of the camp. His ear twitched when he spotted his sister and Withermist come back into camp, wondering where those two had gone off to. "Those two sure look pretty happy with themselves. I wonder what's gotten them into such a good mood today." He observed.
Frostlight nodded in agreement, starting towards where he mother was resting. "Sounds like a plan, I don't want to bother Wildstorm while he's busy." She said.
Shadowmask looked up when she spotted her daughter and Withermist approaching, giving them a friendly smile, "Hey, you two. What are you up to?" She asked, biting back a yawn. Laying in the sun had made her pretty tired, but she was more than happy to have a conversation with Frostlight and Withermist.
"Right." Rainpaw mewed, turning around. She righted her position and took another leap off the rock, keeping her paws spread out like Starlingdust had told her to. She landed a little more steady this time and quickly turned back around, taking another leap up and landing on the rock again.

Echowing narrowed her eyes lightly as she looked down at Withermist. He always had an energy to him that made her skin prickle. Seeing him look so happy though, at Frostlight's side, she could only assume one thing. "I think it's pretty obvious what could make them so content and moony. Though, I never thought Withermist could even comprehend that kind of thing..." Withermist stared unblinkingly at Shadowmask, though his voice was respectful as he mewed bluntly. "Frostlight offered the idea that we should tell you... and her other kin, that the two of us are now mates. Her happiness makes me happy, and so, ah... that is what mates are, I believe." He nodded, assuring to himself. "Excellent job. You catch on quick. A few more times, and you'll see it's much easier. Does it feel easier already?" Starlingdust asked, watching her apprentice carefully.

Lilith flicked her tail leisurely, slinking off through a few of the ledge paths until the crevices grew narrow. She tracked down a mouse scent, waiting with her paws crossed at the entrance of one of the small crevices. After a few moments, the mouse poked its head out, much to Lilith's enjoyment. She snagged it with reflexes as quick as lightning, killing the prey brutally before smiling down at it. "She'll enjoy this. Starved little thing." She crooned to herself.

Sunfury and I didn’t get to do that as much, with how much the Clan had to recover after Adderclan. I was very young, but. The echoes of that stretched a long while.” Buzzardfall admitted lightly, before she asked. “Would you still like to hang out, even if we aren’t mentors right now?”

But, it's nice to not have to wake up so early everyday for training, eh?" She teased. "Heh... if it weren't for training, it'd be for the dawn patrol." Firefang shrugged lazily. "I don't think we can ever escape waking up early. It is nice having something worth waking up for, though. I always enjoyed seeing Fallstone improve after each day. I'd love to see him take on mentoring someday." he mused. "He'd do a good job. He's always had a good head on his shoulders." Buzzardfall agreed, before a hint of humor crossed her muzzle. "Firescorch might need some time to loosen up in that regard, before he takes on mentoring. I love him to death, but he had a barbed tongue, and apprentices need alot of patience."
