i. [ activity ] I tend to be a bit more strict on this portion. I know we all have lives outside of the forums, and we all can get caught up in other activities. However, to keep a good, viable role-play going there needs to be activity within the group. That being said, I prefer everyone who has a character to be posting a few times a week, as much as you can. However, if you are active and fall inactive, I will send you a pm asking if you need to take a hiatus. That being said, if there is no response within a week, the member will fall inactive. If another week passes, the characters will be deleted. You can always rejoin with the characters again if you become more active, however. If you need a break, or a planned break, please, please pm me. I'm always open in my pms to messages. If you ask for a break, then 100% I will be able to give you that until you can become active again. In summary, if you fall inactive for two weeks without warning, characters will be deleted; however, if you tell me ahead of time you'll be gone, you will be safe. ii. [ literacy ] While of course, this roleplay will be diverse in all regions of the literacy range, I ask that all the players please be semi-literate. This means at least a paragraph in posting. Of course, there is no limit to the amount you can post. No one-liners, no two sentences type thing. Please form a post where people are able to respond without having to dig the other for details. Some tips for this is surroundings, what your character is doing, what they're feeling, what the other character is doing, etc. This rule also implies proper grammar and spelling. iii. [ power-play ] Make things fair! I think this goes without saying. Your character is never going to be the strongest in fights, nor will they always win. If anything, during fighting scenes, there will be moderation over those posts to decide who "wins" and who "loses". Please respect this rule. iv. [ romance ] Please, try to keep the romance to PG-13. Remember, these are campers. They range in ages. Of course, you can have a romance, I highly encourage it as it can add drama to the roleplay which is always a lot of fun. No "R" rated scenes, that wouldn't be suitable for a camper or a young user on the forum. Remember, you can always roleplay in the DMs. v. [ prophecies ] Children of Prophecies will be chosen. You can put your characters up for a spot and they will be chosen by the staff. Please, however, don't try to butt your way into a prophecy if it doesn't involve one of your characters. Remember, that can only end badly. vi. [ joining ] There is no limit to how many characters you would like to have. Try to keep them relatively balanced, though! It's easier that way. In doing so, give your characters flaws. Their fatal flaws. You can expand upon their strengths, of course, but every person has something that isn't quite a strength. If your character wishes to be the counselor of a cabin, please inform in the joining post. Along with that, Children of the Big Three are not allowed at this time. This is set pre-book to give it a different direction. I retain the right to reject your characters if I deem them too "OP" or "mary/gary-sueish" Please respect this. Only post joining forums on the joining page.

The first six students were brought to Chiron to train by Apollo back in Ancient Greece. Their names were Aeneas, who fought for Troy in the Trojan War, the first Jason, who captained the Argo, Achilles, who was dipped in the Styx, Atalanta, who was a renowned Huntress, Asclepius, Apollo's son, who went on to become the immortal god of medicine, and the first Perseus, who would kill Medusa. According to various camp members, the camp has trained some very famous figures since then, including a few United States Presidents like George Washington, son of Athena. Camp Half-Blood started out in Ancient Greece at the foot of Mount Pelion, which was Chiron's home. As it grew in size, he had to move to the base of Mount Olympus, and one day Apollo showed up with a horde of satyrs to help demigods find their way to the training camp. Through the ages, Camp Half-Blood has moved with the gods and the core of Western Civilization. It is a sanctuary for demigods, but before there were magical borders, things were a lot more dangerous. One night in Ancient Greece, a massive monster army stormed the camp, which was almost wiped from history that day. The next morning, the gods granted Camp Half-Blood magical borders that have stayed there ever since.
"the god of the sky, thunder, and king of the gods" Zeus is the Olympian god of the sky and the thunder, the king of all other gods and men, and, consequently, the chief figure in Greek mythology. The son of Cronus and Rhea, he is probably most famous for his infidelity to his sister and wife, Hera. Athena, Apollo and Artemis, Hermes, Dionysus, Heracles, Helen of Troy, and the Muses are all children of his numerous erotic affairs. Hephaestus, Hebe, and Ares are his legitimate children. Usually, Zeus is portrayed with a scepter in one hand and a thunderbolt in the other – both symbols of his authority. Sometimes he wears a crown of oak leaves – the oak was deemed to be his sacred tree. Homer repeatedly describes him as “aegis-bearing”: the Aegis was an enormous shield which Zeus frequently carried with him, lending it to his daughter Athena from time to time. In addition, he owns a pet: a giant golden eagle called Aetos Dios. Zeus' children have command over the domain of heaven as their father is lord of the sky. Born to one of the Big Three, they are more powerful than normal demigods. In addition to natural leadership ability, they are known to possess great bravery and strength. They also have control over Electrokinesis and Aerokinesis. Electrokinesis can be used to control electricity, from being able to withstand powerful electric shocks that normal humans can't withstand to being able to summon lightning bolts. Aerokinesis can be used to control air and fly with practice. It is, of course, rare to be a child of Zeus, as becoming a child of Zeus means eternal struggle with Hera.
"the god of the sea" Poseidon is the violent and ill-tempered god of the sea. One of the Twelve Olympians, he was also feared as the provoker of earthquakes and worshipped as the creator of the horse. A hot-blooded deity, Poseidon had many disputes with both gods and men, most famously with Athena and Odysseus. Poseidon’s name is very old, and its meaning is lost to us. Various authors have tried to translate it as either “husband of the earth” or “lord of the waters.” Plato says that it means “knower of many things,” but this is much less likely. Poseidon is nowadays known exclusively as a sea god, but in ancient times, he may have been the god of the earth and fertility or even the supreme god of the sky. In fact, in portrayals, he looks very much like Zeus,a distinguished, bearded man with a dense curly hair and piercing eyes. Oftentimes, he is depicted riding a four-horse chariot and wielding a trident over the waves. The trident is his most recognizable emblem, though his son, Triton, carries one as well. It is said that Poseidon struck a rock with his trident to create the very first horse, Skyphios. During the Gigantomachy, the god used the trident to break off a piece of the island Kos, under which he subsequently entombed the Giant Polybotes. This piece became today’s island Nisyros. Poseidon's children are stronger than most demigods as their father is one of the Big Three. Aside from standard demigod capabilities, most of them have power over his domain with the capacity to generate earthquakes and hurricanes and control and create water, even when far away from water sources. They can also communicate telepathically with equine and sea creatures since Poseidon created horses. They also have limited control over ice, wind, electricity and cold.
"the god of the underworld" Hades is the Ancient Greek god of the Underworld, the place where human souls go after death. In time, his name became synonymous with his realm. It has to be said unsurprisingly – since he barely left it. Appropriately, the most significant myth related to Hades concerns one of the very few times he did – to abduct Demeter’s daughter, Persephone. Hades means “The Unseen One” – a suitable name since Hades is the ruler of the invisible world. However, the Ancient Greeks rarely used this name – just like Christians rarely used the word “Hell” during the Middle Ages. So, since minerals and precious metals are found underground, they often referred to Hades euphemistically as Plouton – namely, “The Wealth-Giver. As the ruler of the dead, Hades was a grim and ghastly figure, inspiring awe and terror in everybody. Consequently, he was rarely depicted in art. When he was, he was most commonly portrayed with a beard, and a solemn, mournful look. He frequently wears a helmet, named the Helm of Darkness or the Cap of Invisibility. Cerberus, the three-headed dog which guarded the entrance to the Underworld, is usually beside him. Every so often he carries a scepter or holds the key to his kingdom. At a later stage, he became associated with his weapon of choice, the bident, a two-pronged fork modeled after Poseidon’s trident.
"the god of the sun" Apollo is the Olympian god of the sun and light, music and poetry, healing and plagues, prophecy and knowledge, order and beauty, archery and agriculture. An embodiment of the Hellenic ideal of kalokagathia, he is harmony, reason and moderation personified, a perfect blend of physical superiority and moral virtue. A complex deity who turns up in art and literature possibly as often as Zeus himself, Apollo is the only major god who appears with the same name in both Greek and Roman mythology. The origin of the name Apollo is still not properly understood. Many Greeks seem to have supposed that it stands for “destroyer,” but this was only one of the many suggestions (“redemptory,” “purifier,” “assembler,” “stony”). Modern scholars disagree with most of them, with the majority linking Apollo’s name to the Greek word apella which means “a sheepfold,” and which may suggest that Apollo was originally merely a protector of the flocks and herds. However, in time, he evolved to become a multifaceted god adored all over Greece as the perfectly developed classical male nude, the kouros. Beardless and athletically built, he is often depicted with a laurel crown on his head and either a bow and arrow or a lyre and plectrum in his hands. The sacrificial tripod – representing his prophetic powers – was another common attribute of Apollo, just as few animals linked with the god in various myths: wolf, dolphin, python, mouse, deer, swan.
"the god of war" Ares is the Olympian god of war. However, unlike Athena, he represents merely its destructive capacity and is typically the personification of sheer violence and brutality. Consequently, he was loved neither by gods nor by men. That is, with the exception of Aphrodite, who bore him many children out of wedlock. Quite appropriately, Ares’ name seems to have been an ancient word for battle or war. In art, Ares is usually represented wearing a helmet, a shield and either a sword or a spear. He drives a four-horse chariot and is accompanied by dogs or vultures. Sometimes, his sons Deimos and Phobos are also depicted beside him. Unlike his nobler Roman counterpart Mars, Ares was an unpopular god and never developed beyond the image of a divine battle-frenzy butcher. Consequently, only a few epithets have reached us. Unsurprisingly, few of them are flattering: “the bane of mortals,” “the slayer of men,” “the city-stormer,” “the armor-clattering,” “the arm-bearing.”
"the god of the messengers" Hermes is the winged herald and messenger of the Olympian gods. In addition, he is also a divine trickster, and the god of roads, flocks, commerce, and thieves. A precocious newborn, he invented the lyre and stole Apollo’s cattle on the very first day of his life. Hermes was the only Olympian capable of crossing the border between the living and the dead. Most scholars think that Hermes’ name derives from the Greek word herma, which means “a heap of stones” or “cairn.” Cairns were a common sight in the Ancient world, serving as trail- or boundary-markers. Some say that the first cairn was erected by the gods, when they cast all their stones in favor of Hermes, during his trial for slaying Argus Panoptes. Archaic artists portrayed Hermes as a mature bearded man. However, later on, he was represented as an athletically built nude youth, immediately recognizable by four attributes: a broad-brimmed hat (petasos), winged sandals (talaria), a purse, and a herald’s wand (kerykeion, or caduceus in Latin). Hermes’ wand – a short-winged staff, entangled by two identical serpents – had magical powers, bringing sleep upon people or rousing them from it. It is very similar and frequently confused with the Rod of Asclepius, which is why Hermes’ wand is often incorrectly used as a symbol of medicine.
"the god of wine" Dionysus was the god of fertility and wine, later considered a patron of the arts. He created wine and spread the art of viticulture. He had a dual nature; on one hand, he brought joy and divine ecstasy; or he would bring brutal and blinding rage, thus reflecting the dual nature of wine. Dionysus and his followers could not be bound by fetters. The origin of Dionysus' name remains an unsolved puzzle until today. According to the poet Pindar, it probably derives from the words "Zeus", the father of Dionysus, and "Nysa", the mountain on which Dionysus was born and raised. The symbols of Dionysus were the thyrsos (a wooden stick wrapped with ivy leaves and vines), the flute and the wine barrels. His sacred animals were the panther and the tiger.
"the god of blacksmiths and fire" Hephaestus is the god of blacksmiths and fire. Called “the celestial artificer,” he was also associated with other craftsmen (sculptors, carpenters, metalworkers) and, as evident in the name of his Roman counterpart Vulcan, with volcanoes. Even though an ugly god lamed by his own mother, he was the husband of none other than Aphrodite herself. It is not known what the name Hephaestus means. However, since it’s similar to few pre-Greek toponyms (Phaistos), it is supposed that Hephaestus is a very old deity. He is arguably the most extraordinary member of the Olympian Pantheon. Bearded and ugly, stocky and lame, he neither possesses the physical flawlessness of the other gods nor does he stimulate the fitting respect. Sometimes he is depicted with an oval cap and almost always with a hammer and an anvil. The epithets most commonly associated with Hephaestus are far from flattering: “the lame one” and “the halting.” He is also sometimes referred to as “shrewd” and habitually as the “Aetnaean,” since his workshop was believed to be located under Mount Aetna.
"the goddess of love and beauty" Aphrodite is the Olympian goddess of love, beauty, sexual pleasure, and fertility. She is regularly attended by few of her children, the Erotes, who are capable of stirring up passion in both mortals and gods at the goddess’ will. Portrayed as both insatiable and unattainable, Aphrodite was born near the coast of Cythera out of the foam (aphros) Uranus' castrated genitals created when they fell into the sea. Even though married to Hephaestus, she had affairs with all Olympians except Zeus and Hades, most famously with Ares, the god of war. She also had famous romances with two mortals, Anchises and Adonis. Aphrodite’s name is usually linked to the Ancient Greek word for “sea-foam,” aphros, which fits nicely with the story of her birth. However, modern scholars think that both Aphrodite and her name predate Ancient Greece and that the story actually came because of the goddess’ name. If Apollo represented the ideal of the perfect male body to the Greeks, Aphrodite was certainly his most appropriate female counterpart. Beautiful and enchanting, she was frequently depicted nude, as a symmetrically perfect maiden, infinitely desirable and as infinitely out of reach. She was sometimes represented alongside Eros and with some of her major attributes and symbols: a magical girdle and a shell, a dove or a sparrow, roses, and myrtles.
"the goddess of wisdom and war" Athena is the Olympian goddess of wisdom and war and the adored patroness of the city of Athens. A virgin deity, she was also – somewhat paradoxically – associated with peace and handicrafts, especially spinning and weaving. Majestic and stern, Athena surpassed everybody in both of her main domains. In fact, even Ares feared her; and all Greek heroes asked her for help and advice. Athena’s name is closely linked with the name of the city of Athens. The Ancient Greeks debated whether she got her name after the city or the other way around. Modern scholars usually agree that the former was the case. In art and literature, Athena is usually depicted as a majestic lady, with a beautiful, but stern face, unsmiling full lips, grey eyes and a graceful build, emanating power and authority. She is always regally clad in either a chiton or a full armor. In the former case, she is sometimes represented with a spindle. In the latter case, she wears an elaborately crested Corinthian helmet and holds a long spear in one hand and an aegis in the other.
"the goddess of the hunt and the moon" Artemis is the Olympian goddess of the hunt, the moon, and chastity; in time, she also became associated with childbirth and nature. No more than few days old, she helped her mother Leto give birth to her twin brother Apollo. Artemis was very protective of her and her priestesses’ innocence. Consequently, she wasn’t very nice when some of them weren’t so careful.Even though Plato says that the name “Artemis” is related to her virginity and the Ancient Greek word for “unharmed” or “pure,” we now know that its origin is undoubtedly different and possibly even Persian. However, scholars can’t agree over its original meaning. Sculptors, poets, and painters, however, had no such problems. Artemis is almost universally depicted as a young, beautiful and vigorous huntress carrying a quiver with arrows and holding a bow, typically wearing a short knee-high tunic and often accompanied by some animal (stag, doe, or hunting dogs). As a moon goddess, she is sometimes represented wearing a long robe and a crescent moon crown.
"the goddess of agriculture" emeter was a peace-loving deity and the source of all growth and life; she was the goddess who provided all nutrition on the earth and taught mortals how to cultivate the earth and ease life. Demeter was most appreciated for introducing wheat to mankind, making man different from animals. The symbols of Demeter were the ear of wheat and the grains, as well as the crocus flower, the narcissus, the myrtle and the daffodil. Demeter was a rich-haired woman with golden tresses and slender feet. She was usually wearing a dark cloak and was holding a golden sword in her hands.
"queen of the gods" Hera is the wife of Zeus, the Queen of Olympus, and the Olympian goddess of marriage. As such, she is also the deity most associated with family and the welfare of women and children. Her marriage, however, was an unhappy one, since Zeus had numerous affairs. Jealous and vengeful, Hera made sure to give each of his consorts some hard time. Based on the number of cults, Hera was a very ancient goddess, possibly predating even Zeus. In fact, it’s assumed that we don’t even know her original name. “Hera” is actually a title, which is usually translated as “Lady” or “Mistress.” Hera’s Roman counterpart was Juno, the goddess who gave her name to the month of June, even today, the most popular time for weddings. Hera was usually portrayed alongside Zeus, as a fully clothed matronly woman of solemn beauty, wearing a cylindrical crown called polos or a wreath and a veil. Sometimes she carries a scepter capped with a pomegranate and a cuckoo – the former a symbol of fertility, the latter a token of the way she was wooed by Zeus. She is also often accompanied by a peacock, one of her sacred animals.

Zeus's Cabin
A marble building looking like a mausoleum, with heavy columns. The big bronze double doors are polished in such a way to provide a 'holographic' effect of lightning bolts passing across. It also thunders all the time. It is described as looking like a bank. The interior has a dome-shaped ceiling that is decorated with moving mosaics of a cloudy sky and thunder bolts. A statue of Zeus in a traditional Greek chiton is centered in the room. It has alcoves with golden eagle statues. There is no furniture in there at all. Hera's Cabin A marble, formal-looking building, graceful with slim columns garlanded with pomegranates and flowers. It is done in a similar way to her husband, Zeus' cabin except smaller. However, Hera's cabin is more graceful, having slimmer columns with pomegranates and flowers around them. The walls also have images of peacocks carved on them, as well as the doors. The interior has a large statue of Hera in the center with a fire pit at its feet, like a temple. There is no furniture inside due to no one will ever stay in that cabin and is honorary (Hera is the goddess of marriage and "doesn't run around having affairs with mortals. That is her husband's job"). Poseidon's Cabin A long, low building with windows facing the ocean. The cabin is made from rough sea stone, pieces of coral and seashell embedded into the outside walls, and a trident with a big bronze number 3 over the door. There is a soft sea breeze flowing through it. The interior has walls made of abalone. There are six neat bunk beds with silk sheets and a salt water fountain that was made out of gray sea rock, had a fish that spouts the water from its mouth, and had a coral decoration. The bottom was filled with golden drachmas for Iris message, although it is unknown if the coins will ever run out. There is also a sort of mobile of hippocampi. Hades's Cabin A windowless cabin made of solid obsidian, with heavy columns and torches that burn green like Greek fire twenty-four hours a day and has a skull over the door. The interior has beds that resemble coffins, with mahogany frames, brass railings, and bloodred velvet blankets and pillows. Demeter's Cabin The cabin is covered in flowers and tomato plants grow on the walls and doorway. Wild flowers and roses grow on the porch. It has a real grass roof. The cabin is colored a light shade of brown. The interior has a grass floor and an oak tree in the center to hold up the ceiling Ares's Cabin A badly painted red and has a large boar's head over the door with barbed wire on the roof. Rock music is constantly blaring from it. It's unknown what it looks like on the inside. Athena's Cabin A gray building with plain white curtains and a design of an owl over the door. The interior has a workshop and a library. The library is filled with thousands of books and old scrolls, as well as tables and chairs for demigods to study and read. The workshop is crammed with tables and work benches, and the cupboards are filled with materials to build things. There are also several 3-D models of buildings, blueprints, old war maps, and armor. It was later said that the cabin was also filled with SMART boards and other things typically found in classrooms, with all the bunks shoved together against one wall. Apollo's Cabin The cabin is made of solid gold and made to glow during the daytime - it's hard to tell if the gold is reflecting light or generating it.The interior has bunk beds on either side with a cot in the middle of the cabin for the injured. Rough cedar beams that rib the ceiling and the white plaster walls are bare except for a few hooks for coats and weapons. It smells of clean linen and dried sage. The cabin is described as modest by Apollo. The only decorations are some flowerpots on the windowsill, filled with cheerful yellow blooms from the island of Delos. They only grow in and around the cabin. One of the flowerpots is filled with red and purple hyacinths. Artemis's Cabin The Artemis cabin is an all silver building with silver curtains, similar to the outfit of the Hunters. It also glows silver during night time as if reflecting the moon, but looks like a normal cabin in the day. It is decorated with paintings and carvings of wild animals, but mostly the stag. Because Artemis does not have children of her own and the cabin is honorary; however it is used by the Hunters, the adopted children of Artemis when they visit camp. It's unknown what it looks like on the inside. Hephaestus's Cabin This cabin looks like a small factory, with brick walls and smokestacks like the forges and lots of gears around the entrance. The interior has folded steel bunks against the walls that Leo describes to be like "high-tech Murphy beds". Each bed has a digital control panel, blinking LED lights, glowing gems, and interlocking gears. It has shiny metal walls and metal slated doors. It is noted for being unclean and messy, filled with junk most of the time. A fire pole comes down from the second floor. A circular staircase leads down into some kind of basement. The walls are lined with every kind of power tool imaginable, and a huge assortment of weaponry. A workbench overflows with scrap metal, screws, bolts, washers, nails, rivets, and a million other machine parts. There is also a tunnel underneath. It is associated with Bunker Nine. Aphrodite's Cabin Aphrodite's cabin is a wooden cabin with a painted blue roof, pillars, checkerboard deck with steps and gray walls. It also has a pink door and potted carnations by the window. It also smells heavily of designer perfume. The interior has pink walls with white window trim. There is also lace curtains that are pastel blue and green which match the sheets and feather comforters on all the beds. The guys have one row of bunks separated by a curtain, but their section of the cabin was just as neat and orderly as the girls'. The cabin is always clean except for under the beds, which have chocolate wrappers, love notes, and other things under them. Every camper has a wooden camp chest at the foot of their bunk with their name painted on it. The only other bit of individualism was how the campers had decorated their private bunk spaces. Each have slightly different pictures tacked up of whatever celebrities they thought were hot. A few have personal photos, too, but most were actors or singers. Hermes's Cabin This cabin has peeling brown paint and a caduceus over the door. It is probably in such bad shape because it is over-populated. Dionysus's Cabin This cabin has its roof and walls lined with grape vines. It is unknown what it looks like on the inside.
The Big House is where the Oracle of Delphi resides, in the attic of the Big House. It also is the main meeting place for the leaders of the cabins for major problems and ideas before any quests. Dionysus and Chiron enjoy playing pinochle on the front porch, the greatest game invented by man. The infirmary is also housed in the Big House. In the attic, with the Oracle of Delphi, there are many old quest items scattered around, each with a sign that explains what they are.
The dining pavilion is where the campers eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food served is a diet primary of grapes, cheese, bread, and extra lean, nymph-cut barbecue and you can ask whatever you want to drink (although Coke does not have the same flavor). Each cabin has their own tables and campers are not allowed to sit at a table that is not their cabin's. The tables are covered with a white tablecloth fringed with purple. At the center of the pavilion is the bonfire. It is lit during the dinners. At the beginning of each meal, each cabin takes turns going up to the fire and dropping in a share of their best food as an offering for the gods (because the gods like the smell). Hestia, goddess of the hearth, gets a portion of each offering.
The amphitheater has rising tiers of stone benches that curve around the central stage. The benches are as comfortable as movie-theater chairs.
The camp store sells Camp Half-Blood t-shirts, toothbrushes, windchimes - available in Celestial bronze, silver, and seashells that can interpret the voices of prophecy-sprouting trees, packs of Mythomagic cards, and tote bags.
Grove of Dodona The Grove of Dodona is a grove of sacred oak trees that can actually speak and sometimes even issued prophecies. Camp Boarders The camp borders are designed to keep mortals, monsters, bad weather and many other things out of the camp. Only campers, satyrs, gods, some mortals and monsters who were given the permission by a camper may enter through the border. Once, the border was protected by many things, the most notable being a strong copper dragon. In modern times, it is passively — but effectively — defended by the magical barrier.
Armory This is where the campers get their weapons. It is a big metal shed around the side of Athena's cabin. It has quite a large collection of swords, spears, clubs and even shotguns. Every camper gets a weapon, but the Hephaestus' cabin makes their own. The armory is confused as the camp forge. Climbing Wall The lava wall, a climbing wall, is said to pour lava out for an “extra challenge”. If the camper does not get to the top quickly the walls clash together and the camper's clothes are soaked with lava (actually torn to only threads). Sword Fighting Arena The Sword Fighting Area is where campers go to duel and practice with different weapons of their choice. It is between the cabins and the Armory. There are straw dummies in Greek armor scattered around the room and training swords. Archery Field The Archery Field is where Archery classes are taught.
Camp Forge There are white marble columns lining walls stained with soot. Chimneys on the roof pump smoke over a gable with carvings of gods and monsters. The forge is located at the edge of a stream, with waterwheels spinning bronze gears. Always, campers hear machinery working, fires crackling, and the sound of hammers against metal. Inside are tables full of projects and weapons, and there was also a big wall map of the camp, used to plan traps to catch the bronze dragon. Hephaestus' children are often, or always, working in the forges. Arts & Crafts Center There are skeins of naturally dyed yarn, easels with stretched canvases, blocks of marble and clay, and all the tools and paints demigods could ask for. The Arts and Crafts Center is the favorite place of Athena's children who could sculpt, paint, weave, and do ceramics, but it is open to everyone to embrace their artistic side. Bunker Nine Bunker Nine was created by the children of Hephaestus.
Grove of the Council of Cloven Elders The Grove of the Council of Cloven Elders is where the Council of Cloven Elders meet. Pegasus Stables This is where they store the pegasi (and horses). The Demeter cabin is in charge of the pegasi riding lessons, but Aphrodite's cabin helps every now and then. Every few times, some demigod(s) would take pegasi lessons from one of the other demigods from Aphrodite's cabin. It is also shown that Chiron does not like the stables very much. Strawberry Fields The Strawberry Fields are where the camp grows strawberries to sell. The Forest The woods are where dryads live and monsters were stocked. It is known as a dangerous place, and no one should ever go there unless they were armed or with a companion. The campers play capture-the-flag in the woods every Friday and sometimes hunt for monsters to fight as training.

Basilisk They are little green snakes with an expandable collar of white spikes around their necks. Their eyes are pale yellow. They can breathe fire and their touch is poisonous. They can be as long as a man's arm. They are able to spit fire and are very poisonous. Carnivorous Sheep They are as big as hippos and attack like piranhas. Once, when an innocent deer looking for food crossed their path, they rushed at it and ate it until it was no more than a pile of shining bones. Centaurs Centaurs have the torso and head of a man, and body of a horse. They are also great healers and archers, like the children of Apollo. Centaurs were notorious for being overly indulgent drinkers and carousers, given to violence when intoxicated, and generally uncultured delinquents Cerberus Cerberus is an enormous, semi-transparent, "pure-bred three headed rottweiler" who guards the gates to the Underworld. He is also Hades' most beloved pet. Charybdis Charybdis was once a beautiful giantess, the daughter of Poseidon and Gaea. She takes the form of a huge mouth that swallows great amounts of water and debris three times a day, creating multiple massive whirlpools. Chimera The Chimera ("she-goat", also spelled "Chimaera") is the monster offspring of Echidna and Typhon. It can breathe fire. Its snake-headed tail has venomous fangs and excretes a venom that is acidic. It has human intelligence. It is immensely strong. Clazmonian Sow The Clazmonian Sow, (not to be confused with the more famous Crommyonian Sow), was a savage and formidable wild beast of which by no means should it be an enemy to be laughed at. Colchis Bull Colchis Bulls are bronze bulls the size of elephants either made by Hephaestus or coming from one of his forges. They are made of bronze, which makes them hard to damage. They can breathe fire. Their skin is burning hot. Cyclops A Cyclops (plural: Cyclopes) is a one-eyed giant. They are very strong and are considered to be ugly by most people. They have superhuman strength, durability, and hearing. They also have the power of voice mimicry, being able to sound like someone else. Dragons Dragons are large, sometimes winged creatures that are often used for guarding objects or places. They are younger than drakons. Drakon Drakons (not to be confused with Dragons) are giant, monster serpent-like creatures several millennia older than dragons. Echidna Echidna is the daughter of Phorcys and Keto, and is considered the mother of all monsters in Greek mythology. Typhon is her husband. Empousai Empousai (singular: Empousa) are winged, bloodsucking monsters under the control of the goddess Hecate. They are known to feed on the blood of men and are the basis for the image of the modern vampire. Their true form can paralyze a man just by the sheer sight of them. They use this form to drink blood. They can manipulate the Mist. They can charmspeak in order to attract their mortal victims. They have the power to make a man fall under their spell to incapacitate them. The Erymanthian Boar The Erymanthian Boar is an animal sent as a gift from Pan. It has the ability to travel vast distances in a relatively short amount of time. It has immense strength. It has a connection to the god Pan and all satyrs. Feather-Shooting Birds Feather-shooting birds are metallic birds that can shoot their feathers like arrows or throwing knives. The birds are extremely hard to fight off, as they attack in swarms. Their feathers are not lethal but can leave marks and bruises. Flesh-Eating Horses Flesh-Eating Horses are horses that feed on the flesh of other animals or mortals. The Furies The Furies, also known as the Erinyes, are spirits of vengeance who serve the god Hades. They are his torturers in the Underworld and punish the crimes of the wicked. In Greek mythology, each Fury was sometimes represented as avenging a certain type of crime, such as crime, grudges, or murder. Ironically enough, they are often referred to as the Kindly Ones, in order to remain safe from them. They are sometimes misidentified with the arai, spirits of curses. Furies are extremely powerful, as the lieutenants of Hades. They can change their appearance at will into human forms, regardless of gender. They also possess superhuman strength and speed, exponentially surpassing that of a human being. Because of their wings, they are capable of flight, and wield powerful whips that induce immense pain on contact and are possibly pyrokinetic. Giants Giants are humanoid monsters of great physical stature and strength. The giants of Greek mythology, or Gigantes ("the earth-born") as they are called in the Greek tongue, were a class of oversized and often monstrous men who were closely related to the gods. The most famous of these were the hundred Thracian Gigantes who waged war on the gods, but there were many others besides, including the one-eyed Polyphemus, the six-armed Gegeines, and the Laistrygonian Giants. Gigantes The Gigantes (singular: Gigas) are the children of Gaea and Tartarus. They are the lesser brothers (and sisters) of the ancient Titans. They serve Gaea, their mother and one of the most powerful beings in the series. In The Lost Hero, Enceladus mentioned that each Olympian corresponded to at least one Gigas (probably more in fact as it was mentioned that there were at least 30 giants). Gorgons Gorgons are the three terrifying sisters turned into snake monsters by Athena. Medusa possesses a gaze so terrible, it can turn anyone to stone. It only works if they look directly into her eyes. Medusa has the ability to persuade people to open their eyes with a soothing voice. Blood from their right side can cure anything, but the blood from their left side is deadly. Gryphons Gryphons (also spelt as Griffins) are flying monsters that live up north. They tend to collect gold for their nests and even lay golden eggs.Gryphons can fly at high speeds. Their beaks, claws, and talons are extremely sharp. They have a sleek and stealthy design, so they are fast and sometimes hard to spot. Harpies Harpies (meaning "snatcher") are winged spirits of sharp wind. They are known as the hounds of Zeus. Sudden, mysterious disappearances are often attributed to harpies. Harpies can control and manipulate the air. They create sudden, sharp gusts of wind, capable to snatch away people and things from the earth. They are immune to fire. Hekatonkheires The Hekatonkheires (also known as the Hundred-Handed Ones) are a race of humanoid beings, each with a hundred arms and fifty heads. They were one of three sets of children born to Gaia and Ouranos, the others being the Titans and the Elder Cyclopes. They were the primeval gods of violent storms, while their brothers, the Elder Cyclopes, held power over thunder and lightning. Hellhound Hellhounds are massive, dog-like monsters from the Underworld. They can travel through shadows. However, it takes a lot of energy, especially the first couple of times they use it, and they usually must rest afterwards. They also have superhuman strength and speed. Hippalektryons Hippalektryons (also known as "rooster ponies") are an endangered species of horse-like monsters. Hippalektryons have the front half of a horse and the back half of a rooster. Their rear feet have huge yellow claws. Their tales are feathery and their wings are red. Hippocampus Hippocampi are creatures that resemble a combination of a horse and fish. They are under the jurisdiction of the sea god, Poseidon. Hippocampi are creatures that from the waist up have the body of a horse and from the waist down, have silvery fish bodies, with glistening scales and rainbow tail-fins. They were used to draw Poseidon's chariot and seafoam was created by their movement. Hydra The Hydra is a vicious nine-headed monster that can grow back its heads. It can spew acid from its mouth. It has multiple heads. Two heads will grow back for each head that is cut off. The monster as a whole possesses incredible superhuman strength. Ichthycodentaur An Ichthyocentaur is one-third horse, one-third fish, and one-third human. From the waist up they are human, but they have green and blue skin, and lobster claws on their head that function like horns. They have the forelegs of a horse, but their hind legs are actually a fish tail with a V-shaped tail fin. Kampe Kampê is an extremely powerful and monstrous ally of Kronos. She was originally the jailer of Tartarus, before Zeus arrived and destroyed her, after which he freed the Cyclops and Hekatonkheires. Karpoi Karpoi (singular: Karpos) are grain spirits who appeared in The Son of Neptune. They are children of Tartarus and Gaea, both of whom are evil. Katobleps Katobleps (pl. katoblepones), also known as Catoblepas, is a cow monster whose name means 'down-looker'. Ladon Ladon is the massive dragon that has exactly one hundred heads. He guards the Garden of the Hesperides that the tree of the golden apples of immortality reside in. Lycanthropes Lycanthropes, also known as werewolves, are humans that were cursed and have the ability to shapeshift into wolf-like creatures. The first Lycanthrope is Lycaon, their leader. The Lycanthropes are immune to weapons made of gold, bronze, and steel, as the weapon would just pass through them like mortals. The only thing that can kill them is silver. Lycaon Lycaon is the first lycanthrope and a servant of the Protogenos Gaea. Being a lycanthrope, Lycaon is not only immortal, but also immune to any weapon that is not made of silver, even magical ones, like Imperial Gold and Celestial Bronze, that are usually capable to harm even gods. Also, being the first lycanthrope not only makes Lycaon the most powerful of his species, but also makes him the leader of them, a thing that might explain his rivalry with Lupa, the wolves' leader. However, Lycaon is not truly indestructible as (was cited before) he can easily be injured by silver, harmed by fire and is susceptible to divine power. He also has great reflexes, being able to catch an arrow in mid-air. Manticore The Manticore is a monster in Greek mythology. A manticore's tail is one of their main weapons, and with it they can accurately shoot spikes at high speeds, or use it as a jabbing weapon, similar to real scorpions. The tail and the spikes a manticore can shoot are poisonous. While the poison will not kill, it will cause the victim to suffer intense pain, almost to the point of blacking out. Minotaur The Minotaur (real name Asterion) is a monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man. He is one of the most infamous monsters in Greek mythology and is currently reforming in Tartarus. The Minotaur is very strong, able to lift a car over its head and throw it across a small field. Neman Lion The Nemean lion is a monster that is best known for being one of the beasts fought by Hercules as one of his twelve labors. The Nemean Lion is one of the children of the faded Titaness of the moon, Selene, and Zeus, which she bore on request of Hera and fell from the moon so the latter could send it after Hercules. It is also said to have been the son of Echidna and Typhon or the offspring of Orthus and the Chimera. The Ophiotaurus The Ophiotaurus (meaning Serpent Bull) was an ancient monster that could bring down the gods if it was slain and its entrails burnt. It was a half-cow, half-serpent creature. Orthus Orthus is a two headed monster dog and the brother of Cerberus. Pegasi Pegasi are winged horses. They have been known to come in a variety of colors from white, black, brown and even mixed colors (ex: brown and white). They are named after the original Pegasus and are his offspring. Pit Scorpion A pit scorpion is a deadly type of monster like scorpion. Many were summoned from the Underworld or Tartarus during the first Olympian war. Satyr Satyrs, also known as Fauns by Romans, are creatures with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a goat complete with hairy goat legs and hooves, as well as goat horns, and the pointed ears of a goat. When in public, they tend to be clumsy, for they have to wear fake feet and hats so that the sound or appearance of their hooves or horns won't draw unwanted attention from mortals. Scylla Scylla is the daughter of Keto and Phorcys and one of the two monsters in Greek mythology (the other being Charybdis) that lived on either side of a narrow channel of water. The two sides of the strait were within an arrow's range of each other — so close that sailors attempting to avoid Charybdis would pass too close to Scylla and vice versa. Scythian Dracanae Scythian Dracanae are female reptilian monsters with some humanistic features. Sea Serpent A sea serpent is a type of a sea monster either wholly or partly serpentine. They resemble Drakons and Dragons, but do not spit poison, live in water, and hold other minor differences. Poseidon has the ability to control the sea serpents/monsters. The Sirens The Sirens were sea nymphs who lured sailors to their death with a bewitching song. The Sirens are depicted as human sized vultures, with dirty black plumage, gray talons and wrinkled pink necks. Skolopendra Skolopendra is a giant sea monster, part crayfish, part shrimp, and is one of Phorcys and Keto's children. It looked like a cross between a giant shrimp and a cockroach, with a pink chitinous shell, a flat crayfish tail and millipede-type legs. Its face was a slimy pink like an enormous catfish with two glassy dead eyes and a gaping toothless maw. It had a beard, which had a numerous amount of tentacles sprouting from each nostril. Sphinx The Sphinx is a monster with the head of a woman and the body of a lion. She is known as "The Master of Riddles”. Stymphalian Birds Stymphalian Birds are a species of monstrous pigeon-like birds. Stymphalian birds have sharp Celestial Bronze beaks that can tear through flesh. They also have the ability to use their feathers like arrows, being able to shoot them down at their prey from above. Telekhines Telekhines (also spelled as Telchines or Telkhines) are mysterious smiths and sea demons native to the islands of Keos and Rhodes. Their parents were either Pontus and Gaia, or Tartarus and Nemesis, or else they were born from the blood of castrated Uranus along with the Erinyes. Storm Spirits Storm spirits (also known as Anemoi Thuellai in Greek and Venti in Latin) are creatures of chaos that Aeolus keeps locked away in the hollows of his island. They were created when Typhon was defeated by Zeus and later Poseidon. Yale A Yale is a fierce antelope-like creature with large horns that can swivel in any direction. The Romans knew these creatures as Centicores. They're attracted to sudden movements and loud noises. They are fierce and proud animals, highly territorial and aggressive as well as being an endangered species. Since they are endangered, it is illegal to kill them making it difficult to access areas with Yales. Artemis/Diana is tasked with monitoring the number of Yales and other endangered species. When monsters start to fade from mortals' collective memory, they regenerate less and less often from Tartarus, so they are left to breed and repopulate.

Originally, Delphi was a spring that whispered the future to those who listen. The Greeks called it omphalos, meaning navel of the world since it was at the geographic center. Gaea was the first goddess to possess the Oracle of Delphi. Her daughter, the Titaness Phoebe, lived there and was the first to figure out how to hear the voices. Rhea tries to talk with the Oracle of Delphi when her sister Phoebe had control over it, wanting to save her last child from being eating by Kronos. However, Phoebe had no advice to give her sister. Her sister Themis, her niece Demeter, and her nephew Poseidon were eventually worshipped in Delphi for many years. Mortals Deucalion and Pyrrha encountered The Oracle of Delphi during the flood Zeus caused to punish mankind. The Oracle tells them: "When you leave this place, cover your heads and throw the bones of your mother behind as you go, and do not look back." Shortly afterwards, Gaea gave birth to Python to guard the cave. Leto, Phoebe's daughter, came looking for a place to give birth after Hera cursed her, but Python chased her out. When Leto gave birth to Apollo and Artemis on Delos, Apollo decided to kill Python for what he did to his mother. He was successful and threw the snake's body into a fissure to let its corpse rot and smell. Eventually, Apollo took over the Oracle and welcomed the priest and pilgrims back. A priestess referred to as the Pythia, named after Python, stood on a tripod stool next to one of the fissures that spewed gas and would always get riddles from Apollo. The spirit of the Oracle of Delphi was eventually passed on from maiden to maiden to continue to speak the prophecies. The Delphic Oracle was one of three priestess who served at the Temple in Delphi. Priests and priestesses at an Oracle spoke on behalf of the gods. The advice from the gods was usually so vague that it always seemed to be right. People would come from all over to ask the Oracle for her wisdom about important matters of public policy to personal affairs. The Oracle would be consulted before any kind of important decision, including war or the founding of colonies. Other people from as far as Lydia, Caria, Rome, and even Egypt would send a representative to consult the Oracle.
It is Hecate's job to make sure the mythological events are replaced with visions of normality. Under the influence of Mist, a mortal would see gods or monsters as ordinary humans or animals and supernatural objects become commonplace items. The Mist cannot only distort vision, but also creates false memories and suppresses real ones.

Common traits of the children of the gods, based on their parent.
x. Zeus Zeus' children have command over the domain of heaven as their father is lord of the sky. Born to one of the Big Three, they are more powerful than normal demigods. In addition to natural leadership ability, they are known to possess great bravery and strength. x. Poseidon Poseidon's children are stronger than most demigods as their father is one of the Big Three. Aside from standard demigod capabilities, most of them have power over his domain with the capacity to generate earthquakes and hurricanes and control and create water, even when far away from water sources. They can also communicate telepathically with equine and sea creatures since Poseidon created horses. They also have limited control over ice, wind, electricity and cold. x. Hades Children of Hades have innate knowledge of the Underworld, able to guide themselves and allies to how to enter, explore and escape the Underworld. Children of Hades tend to have dark attitudes and appreciate shadowy places. They also typically have an appreciation for the earth, feeling more comfortable on the ground rather than being in the sky or the sea. x. Apollo Apollo's children are superior archers, healers, and musicians. They are additionally shown to be able to afflict others with curses such as rhymed speech due to their father's position as the god of poetry. In ancient times, many of Apollo's children were blessed with foresight. Some descendants of Apollo, like Halcyon Green and Octavian, can interpret the will of the gods, while others like William Shakespeare have become famed poets. Some of them may have some control over fire and light, although this is quite rare. Some descendants of Apollo may also be able to use their musical abilities in battle. x. Ares The children of Ares are more aggressive and martial than most demigods. As offspring of the war god, they have incredible martial abilities with an extensive knowledge of combat, as well as, superior strength and overall physical prowess. They also have superior mastery of many different types of weapons, being able to use them effectively even without practice. Some are even given a blessing of invincibility by their father for their bold courage and righteous wrath in battle. x. Hermes Children of Hermes are more cunning and nimble than other demigods. Because Hermes is the god of dexterity, his children are considered to be very versatile in any skill. In particular they excel in athletics as well as business and thievery, being able to magically sense and pick locks. x. Dionysus The powers of Dionysus' children are connected to those of Demeter's children. They promote the growth of vegetation (such as vines), especially wine grapes. Furthermore, they are able to both cause and cure insanity, as their father is the god of madness, and may have some power of alcohol and drinks. x. Hephaestus Like their father, children of Hephaestus are greatly skilled builders and craftsmen. Their talent as engineers are second to none and they can instinctively detect, identify, and operate any piece of machinery. x. Aphrodite Aphrodite's children are more attractive and have subtler powers compared to other demigods. With their mother being the goddess of beauty and love, they are natural experts in fashion and matchmaking with control over jewelry and makeup as well as skill in love magic. They also seem to have a greater clarity and sharper focus than most demigods, though many lack interest in fighting compared to other demigods. They have the same affinity for French, the language of love, as all demigods do for Greek or Latin. Some are even able to influence others with the strength of their voices using Charmspeak to manipulate other's thoughts x. Athena Although she is a virgin goddess, Athena conceives offspring through a meeting of minds with her lovers. Demigods of war and wisdom, Athena's children excel in intellectual pursuits, and have exceptional skill in warfare, particularly strategy. Children of Athena are masters at invention, architecture and strategy and have an extremely high knowledge and skill with weaponry even without prior mastery of the weapon. x. Artemis Artemis has no children as she is sworn to remain a maiden. However, she does have a group called the Hunters of Artemis who occasionally visit Camp Half-Blood. The Hunters of Artemis are immortal unless they die in combat or break their vows to swear off love of any kind. They have great archery skills like Artemis and are also skilled in the use ofknives. The Hunters are also stronger, faster, and more durable than normal demigods. They can also talk with wolves and other predatory animals. x. Demeter Demeter's children are altruistic and passive half-bloods. Demigods of agriculture, they are diligent workers and naturally have a green thumb. They can manipulate crops among other forms of flora. They're also great cooks. Most of Demeter's children can do a little more than make crops grow and keep bacterial fungi at bay, while others have much larger degrees of ability, such as being able to summon Karpoi, sensing the growth of plants, telekinetically moving plants, and teleporting through plants.

Credit to The Riordan.Fandom.com for providing free information on the gods, demigod abilities, common traits, camp information, and monster information. The books created by Rick Riordan also came in handy creating this role-play. Credit to myself for creating the headers and the black dividers, along with the siders by the gods. The golden dividers were created using a stock divider image but editing it to match the theme. Credit to everyone for their own character uses.

[[ Hi! I'd love to join. Admittedly my activity during weekdays is not fantastic, but I am active over the weekends and I can definitely make it on a few times a week. If anything comes up, I'll be sure to let you know (: ]]
