// Oof that's all I have for the moment...and that wasn't supposed to end like a mystery cliffhanger or anything- Rose is just a lazy bum who falls asleep every few minutes so he just decided to nap on Mythra's floor // Also! I forgot to ask which direction Attor has, wearyheart. Like north, south, west, etc

// As for what happens next, I was thinking maybe wearyheart could introduce a character or two and then I'll have the covenmistress arrive and stir up a bit of trouble ^^

“Just one more…..aaand there!” Viscay leaned back slowly, hands up and soft palms facing outward as if surrendering. In a way she was, to the beautiful masterpieces before her! Well, that might be a bit of a stretch but her renowned strawberry tarts would be undeniably delicious as they always were. She gave a quiet, satisfied “Mmhm”, after her thorough inspection of the bright little pastries, hands now resting on her blue apron protected waist and a faint smile curving her lips. Buttery golden crusts filled with a rich strawberry cream cheese mixture, lemon juice and zest added for that tangy kick and adorned with a generous helping of velvety homemade whip cream. Of course there’s the best part, the freshest strawberries she could procure with such little warning, rolled in a lemon juice and sugar concoction and placed as the succulent crowns. Hopefully miss high and mighty fancies strawberries. “Would you like some help ma'am?” Viscay blinked once before her gaze shifted to the spirit servant swaying at her side and she was abruptly drawn from her inner thoughts as the reality of her surroundings came rushing back in, the hustle and bustle of hurrying cooks and servants alike prepping for their incoming guests.
“Oh no that’s alright, I actually just finished and what have I said about calling me ma'am?” She responded after a few seconds, gently with an equally affable expression in that dulcet voice of hers. “Please, would you mind addressing me as Viscay? It just seems so much...warmer.” Viscay admitted unabashedly with another small smile, albeit more friendly than self-satisfied this time and she was delighted to see the spirit girl hesitantly return her smile.
“I-If you insist ma-I mean Viscay.”
“Much better! Now, if you would be a darling and set these tarts up nicely on a platter when you have a spare moment, I would greatly appreciate it. I must return to my other less..pleasant duties.” Viscay speared her discarded notebook on an empty counter with a weighted glance, it’s thin pages stuffed with an assortment of notes and unattached papers, including her dreaded checklist for today to make certain everything went better than smoothly. Not that she harbored any doubts the day would proceed being anything less than impeccable, such capable and driven members assured that. But by gods, even she who was known for her level-headedness was struggling to not give in to the nervousness coiling stubbornly in her stomach, or even at times the irritation tightening her chest. Indecisive feelings indeed pertaining to this whole scenario, personally a petty part of her wanted to demand they inform the Head of that prestigious Coven she could take her precious influence and reputation and whatever else she could possibly benefit the coven with and shove it where the sun don’t shine, to be completely blatant.
Yet alas Viscay has enough years under her belt to immediately recognize such an golden opportunity and logically how rewarding it could be for the entire coven, even if it meant once again scurrying about in search of perfection for simply the slightest of approval from an entity who’d had once rather step carelessly on them and squash them mercilessly as if they were brainless mice instead of even grace them with a look in their direction, much less a smile. Thus mixed emotions was one way to phrase the minuscule battle rattling around inside her head, and to explain why she’d escaped into the kitchen for a little self recuperation, which meant for Viscay the art of baking, one of the few things she could truly lose herself in.
Saying a quick goodbye to the cute servant, she snatched up her notebook and rehung her apron, the clicking of her black heels against tile barely audible among the noises of a teeming kitchen as she strolled out into the hallway. Her attire consisted of an unembellished pearl-grey dress that while appeared professional, was too figure-fitting for her taste. Nonetheless it was the closest article of clothing she believed she possessed that was appropriate for the particular development, unfortunately. Viscay has never been one to enjoy being confined by a dress, though with this occasion she was more than willing to make sacrifices at whatever cost, for the good of the coven. Okay, let’s see this through and get it finished. She sifted through her pages while slowly making her way forward, her focus faced down as she searched for that precious checklist. Ah fantastic, how could I possibly forget? I’m due at the private dining hall in ten minutes. She was already changing directions, patting herself down and inspecting her clothing for any stray flour. I doubt me walking around with accidental evidence of baking would be happily looked upon during such a day.

(Ah sorry just saw you're post! Um I'll go with north for Attor if that's okay? Also will post something involving him tomorrow, headed off to bed. I hope you both have a good rest of your night!)
