Dogs are sensory overload on legs to me. They also aren't cute and I don't see how they could be. I don't think I've ever looked at a dog, a puppy even and gone "aww cute" I'm just like. :| its. a dog. yeah. yep. sure is! Some are not ugly, like the shiba doge meme. But "cute" still isn't the word I'd use.
Now, I'm not cruel, I wouldn't hurt them or anything and if I saw one that was hurt/abused I'd still take care of it to bring it to a shelter because no animal deserves that but mostly they can stay as far away from me as possible.
There's only like 2 dogs i've ever gotten along with and both of them were because they were very quiet and didn't slobber.
Also I know this is just me, but I can't stand the texture of dog fur either. It's just some weird badfeel that makes my brain do flipflops in my skull.

Indifferent to dogs, I'd say even bored. I've owned so many dogs for so many years with nothing else inbetween to the point owning dogs is just stale to me now. Everyone in my nuclear family hates cats except me so we just get dogs all the time and I've grown just... tired of them ig. I'm a massive cat person with allergies that I actively ignore to indulge in my love for them (The watery eyes are worth it) and want a cat and yet not allowed to. Hell I hadn't even so much as touched a cat for years and the texture of their fur had became so alien to me I literally cried at a pet store when I was allowed to.
So as a cat person I don't like dogs nor hate them, nothing against them. I'm just extremely... EXTREMELY bored of them and the idea of raising them now just feels repetitive idk. This isn't speaking of abandoned/abused dogs because that's a complicated case with such opinion on them (I'd want to take it in or help it but I feel I wouldn't exactly enjoy raising it myself now as I would say, a kitten, because of the said repetitiveness).

I don't really like animals in general. They smell bad and fur is gross. Dogs, especially smaller/younger ones, are the worst because they often actively run at you and try to interact with you. Cats at least leave you alone most of the time and are cuter to look at.

i chose other because i actually don't like cats that much lol. i'd probably be better suited to a cat's personality, but i'd choose a dog over one. i'm honestly not a huge animal person despite growing up with many pets.
honestly, i think many people dislike dogs because they've never met a properly trained one. sadly common occurrence. we had a very independent, quiet, sweet brittany spaniel growing up that didn't bark incessantly, stayed only in the kitchen area, and didn't constantly ask for attention. it was partially her personality but a lot of it was my mom's training.

I love dogs and prefer them over cats. I especially love Miniature Schnauzers who can be admittedly yappy but you can train them not to bark.

I'm neutral on dogs. They're a lot more work than cats in a sense, and thus are a bit too much for me. I love petting dogs and giving them love, but I just know I can't handle all it takes to give a dog a properly good home. Personality-wise, you'll always find a dog that vibes with you, but generally speaking dogs are more of an extroverted species. It all depends on how they were trained and what breed they may be.

Dogs make me quite uncomfortable when they touch me or come into my space, even our family’s dog I have nothing against them personally, they’re existing just as I am and I’m not gonna get mad at them for that, but I would prefer that they keep their distance If they do that then I’m 100% fine around them
I get along well with our dog because she and I have come to a mutual understanding that she stays out of my room, and I sneak her treats and play with her in ways that don’t involve physical contact

I have a preference for cats but I LOVE dogs, though I don't have a lot of patience for the particularly chatty ones that bark all day everyday
I would like a dog sometime in the future, but I need to research about specific breeds and what to expect (regardless training is going to be a big factor anyway). Any pet is high maintenance, but cats can be a bit more independent than some dogs which I really do like, though I still wouldn't mind taking more time to spend with a future dog.

I picked indifferent, because I don't dislike them, they just aren't for me. One of my roommates in college had a red golden retriever, and I would take him on walks and stuff, and I stayed at a friend's house once on his pull out sofa bed and his dog slept with me that night (which was nice since I'm used to sleeping surrounded by cats), but in my warped little OCD mind, dogs aren't as clean as cats, and I can't seem to get past that.

I like most animals, but nothing can compare to cats. I used to love dogs, but due to negative experiences and the passage of time I've become more ambivalent.
They can be nice and fun to be around... if I don't own them.
They're too loud and excitable. While loud cats are cute because meowing is a higher-pitched and quieter noise, barks are booming and earsplitting. However, while they're being quiet and calm, dogs are nice to be around. My family's current dog is large and sweet, but he's also smelly (even after being washed/groomed) and I can't wash his scent off my hands after I pet him no matter what I try.

I've worked as a kennel technician or with dogs for 6 years...so I'm a little bit tired of them, but at the same time I would also like to get one. Idk it's kind of like the thing were people don't like other people's kids but want their own I guess

As long as we each maintain our own personal space and I don't interact with them and they don't interact with me, I'm cool.
If they do try to interact with me I'm more "uhhhh ok you can go now thanks bye" than anything.

I love dogs, but I'm pretty picky with them. Whenever I see a cute dog I do get excited and want to give it some face squooshes; however, if I were to get a dog I'd definitely have to change my life around it. I can't handle smelly dogs, or dogs that are untrained, or the really small and aggressive yappy dogs. If I were to get a dog I would definitely have to train the hell out of it, specifically for going out on walks and how they act around others.
