Oh very nice. Really like this, despite it being a bit messy. I'll flesh some things out for Avani's family here in a few minutes.

Hey, here are the character things for Lysandra and Crispen. I didn't know what all the Fae abilities were, so I'll go back and edit that when we decide on it.
Lysandra Floros 21 years old, Void Elemental, Female
Light, olive-toned skin is mostly clear with only a few scars here and there. Lys stands around an average height of 5'6'' and has a thin, lithe build. Due to her small stature, it makes for an easier time hiding or sneaking into places. An angular face holds a small, round nose and large, bright green eyes. It's not uncommon to see her lost in though, planning something or thinking about her future plans. Long, wavy, stark black hair reaches down to her upper-middle back and is usually kept in a neat ponytail out of her face. Lys tends to wear comfortable clothing that's snug on her body and slip-on shoes, though it's not uncommon for her to be barefoot either.
Lysandra is quite intelligent. This coupled, with her observant and resourceful nature, creates quite the combination for the crafty woman. When she goes into a room, she'll watch for possible escape routes and study the people inside, trying to get some read on them. Crispen claims she's just paranoid. Even despite her careful planning and eye for intricate details, she can get overwhelmed and flustered if a good plan goes awry. Lys tries to keep a level, calm head, though it doesn't always go as planned if she gets overwhelmed. Her ability to obsess over small details doesn't help this either. With that said, it doesn't stop her from acting quickly, or in the worst cases, acting brashly. She's charming and friendly enough, knowing how to start a conversation with people or worm her way into many social situations. The confidence and determination helps as well as her often witty comments and occasional mockery.
Lysandra is a void elemental, meaning she can bend the laws of space to her will. Or something like that. Her main focus of her power is manipulating friction and gravity. Unfrotuantely she can't use it at any time, she needs energy to tap into her abilities. To combat this, she needs to eat. A lot. She always has food on hand or often unapologeticly steals it. Water doesn't do anything and milk-based drinks do little. However, fruit juices and grain-based alcohol give her the energy she needs in a pinch if no food is available.
Crispen Desi Vladimiri 22 years old, half-Fae/half-Mage, Male
Crispen stands around 6' with a willowy build. Despite looking like a twig, at least according to Lysandra, he's surprisingly strong. A friendly smile is always on a round face with a pointed chin and features. Soft, hazel eyes are a contrast to his curly, bright red hair that grows just past his ears. Medium-toned skin is lightly dusted with freckles, though there are heavier patches across his face and shoulders. He has a fondness for button-up shirts under a vest as well as for accessories. The right accessory gives way to the right mindset. That's the theory, anyway.
Crispen is a very friendly, charming, and flirty person. He likes keeping people on their toes or making them blush and is shameless about it, much to Lysandra's annyoance. His easy-going and good natured ways help him talk with almost anybody. Despite his friendliness, he grows easily bored and will try to find something that interest him. His scattered-brained ways and clumsiness doesn't help once he finds something new that catches his attention for mischeif. Many vases have been lost because of it, and many "trades" have been made. If he sees something he likes, it's not uncommon for it to go missing, only to be replaced by the strangest of objects. Crispen is unyeidingly optimistic. Even when a situation looks dire, he'll find something positive to say about it. He's on the lazy side and may take twice as long to complete something because of it. It doesn't make him any less reliable, however.
Crispen is half Fae and half Mage. Each supposedly gives him great, interesting, but he doesn't care for magic. In a bind, he'll use it, but likes to do things with the stuff he has around them. Being a half-Fae gives him the inability to lie. He can lie, but has a tell that's diffcult to control that rarely makes it worth it. Besides that, he'd never been great at it. Being half-Mage allows him to cast spells. On top of not being fond of magic, he's also just really bad at it.

(Yup. And a lot of cousins as well. She's probably the oldest of them too, I'm thinking. Her parents are the oldest siblings in their families, so she has around five blood related aunts and uncles. Heavenlys, especially angles, have very large families.)

Yup. I'll probably post them all later once I have ideas down. I'll also do the same with Lysandra's and Crispen's families, if I come up with anything.
Honestly, Avani and Zane bonding and becoming friends both sound great and hilarious. I can see that being one of the things they bond over. Also, if/when she finds out about his terrible family (and well, everyones less than stellar family life) she might have some words...
The idea of Lilah's mother being the child of an oracle and mage sounds so interesting and cool. It's honestly not completely put of the realm of possibility and I'm sure there's been plenty of orcales who've married/had a relationship with someone who wasn't. Also, Avani will probably see Lilah as family when she finds out. I mean she'll probably see them all as family eventually, but this would be something she could bond with Lilah over.
That would be fun and I'm sure there are ways we can get them there. Maybe The Inner Council of the Three Siblings find iut where the chosen ones are and bring them to Cloudhelm. Another possibility is they flee there to lay low for a few days.

Same here. Two big softies being friends is just perfect.
I do too. It's just so fun writing for someone who's basically an embodiment of sunshine and sugar. But yeah, it's kind of funny, I guess, that for the most part, the chosen ones have poor family lives. Part of it may be pressure due to said families being wealthy and/or in leadership positions, but still. I think Avani and Alex are the only ones who have a decent to great dynamic with their families.
Forbidden relationships (of any kind, really) are fun and interesting. Also exploring mixedrace couplings can be fun as well due to just how different all the families are. I also second the Oracle thing. An idea I have floating in my head are Oracles could have unusual or more potent powers, so by only allowing oracles to marry and have children with other oracles, it could create a more poweful generation. Anyway, I love found family so much. There's just something great about a group of people finding comfort and safety with each other and forming platonic/familial bonds. Anyway, Lilah finding out about her family is going to be great. Also, as if that poor lady needs more to worry about in her life.
Haha the Godzilla instinct. But yeah there's just something fun about destroying giant cities or having a threat of one falling and the race against time to save it/all the people.

1) I do like the idea of the characters having to get out if their comfort zone in order to get the stone. While I dokke the challenge idea, maybe it could also tie into the stone's power. Maybe they can get the stone whenever, but in order to activate/"awaken" it, they have to go through some trial. For Avani, that would. Also if it's an "awakening" the stone thing, maybe depending on how challenging the trial is, perhaps they have to do multiple "trials" before it can awaken to do its job. For Avani, I kind of like the soul-crushing idea that not everyone will be friendly or kind. That not everyone is worth saving or wants to be saved. That there are truly terrible people who will screw her over and not lose sleep over it. That sometimes she has to fight and hurt people in order to save those she cares about.
2) I like the combining of idea and I especially enjoy the concept that each of the creators made a deal with the big bad. I was already planning on Ziv being shady, so this works wonders. Also, maybe that could be why some previous chosen failed before. They somehow found out the truth and abandoned their quest. Maybe in each retelling of the prophecy, different families are blamed depending on who tells it. Like the Heavenlys blame the Infernals. The Infernals blame the Shifters. The Shifters blame the Mages and so on.
Also, I've had this idea for a while, but didn't know a good place to talk about it. So I believe we decided our charavters have to die in one way or another in order to seal away the evil forever. I know we dicussed them all dying or having to choose the one person who had to die. While we can still have that idea, maybe the characters do sacrifice themselves, they're momentarily in a plane between the spiritual realm and the physical realm. Instead of them/their spirits being destoryed/sealed with the evil, maybe the ancestors in their dreams take their places to fix their past mistakes. We could still have all the issues that come with literally dying/almost dying, but have them survive if that's what we want.

1) I love this idea! For Wendell, it could be something incredibly athletic that requires strength, no magic able to be used to succeed, all the while there are others taunting him for being half-wraith, and possibly, maybe (depends on what happens) seeing his sister just one obstacle away the entire time. That'll be a great method of torture challenge. 2) This idea will be a heavy hit to Wendell, I think, as he relies so much on the information in books, to realize that they're not always right. In other words, great! Amber Hmmm.... Interesting idea.... Technically, this would make them zombies, wouldn't it? Just saying. All in all, I really like that idea.

OK, I'm finally getting around to readying all the replies and typing this out cause I have a minute to do so. XD By the way, the page is GORGEOUS and I love how condensed everything is. Very nice, very nice! Thank you everyone for the nice compliments on the recap! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it!
In responce to the main discussion:
1. I also think it could be an interesting convention to have the characters go through trials whether they be physical or mental. If the trails built in intensity over time, that poor character that has to get the fifth stone is gonna suffer so much. XD Let's do it! As for a suggestion for a trial for Clari..... I feel like something more mental would be perfect for Clari instead of a physical or emotional trial. Maybe something like she is separated from the others and metaphorically or literally 'caged'. Like an extreme form of claustrophobia or she is unable to leave one place and do anything about it. Maybe she is left alone in that place for an extended period of time.
2. A sanitized version of the truth and all of the originals being shady would be great for some angst. I'm down for both of these ideas, but I particularly enjoy the idea that the ancestors finally buck up and take responsibility for their junk. I mean they have ruined the lives of so many by now and risked the whole world so if they took the place of the protags then that would be an awesome moment. Granted, I still think we should have them "die" like Amber suggested, but if they come back, I think they should actually be dead.
So who would bring them back? The original creators would be dead and they would be wandering the astral plane. What if we brought in some of the old gods from their respective religions? Like Rafe for Clarisse or Yara/ Amil for Avani, etc. etc.? We defiantly don't have to even have them fully die if y'all don't want, but I think that could be cool.

Starchaser1) Yeah if the stones aren't connected to the chosen's bloodlines, which it looks like they're not, then they could still be activated by the person overcoming their own personal challenges. Oh, speaking of the cult, what if in the gap between the last chosen and our current guys, it was founded by some rogue family members of the chosen? Not sure how well that'd work, but it could kead to some fun possiblities. But yeah, intensity of the challenges becoming greater leads to so many interesting possibilities, especially for Avani. And if she ended up seriously maiming or even killing someone... 2) Yup. I have some ideas for what kind of deal she made that are super shady. Seeing how that'll affect everyone when it comes out with how shady the original guys were will be fun to see. Yes, exactly! It's like "wow guys we really screwed up and it's not fair for our descendants to take the fall for this" and so they take the place of our current chosen. Having a limbo/inbetween afterlife and real world hijinks also sounds fun. I also agree that our characters should die for real for the impact and the angst. Now as for who should bring them back, I didn't consider their various gods. I really like the idea of the gods giving them a chance to go back/sending them all back as sort of "thanks for protecting our world we've made and making up for your grandparent's mistakes" sort of thing. One idea I like, cheesy as it may be, is maybe their friends find them after the fact and call them as they wander aimlessly around the unknown. So their ancestors took their spot, but now they have another challenge of either going to the voices or into the afterlife. To add extra drama, perhaps they all don't remember anything except like their names, though they know they're missing stuff. Also yes to each character having to have the challenge of not accepting a deal from the enemy. I love the parallels with their ancestors and having this could prove to be very fun. Having this also be how they die is a cool idea as well because they think they're the only ones affected. Maybe, they could still decide things as a group if we want to tie in one of the ideas above. There's just so many possiblities, I'm excited to discuss them. Also, here's some ideas for Crispen's fae powers and the edited family stuff. Crispen's powers - Enhanced Physical Abilities: He's quite fast on his feet and has a quicker reaction time, which equals quicker reflexes. - Extrasensensory Perception: He has sharper hearing and eyesight and can see sixty feet in front of him as if it's dim light in darkness and the same amount as if it's normal lighting in dim light. He has a very primitive from of precognition. Unconsciously reading the powerful energy/emotions in an area, he can sort of "detect" things before they happen. For example, if people are preparing a surprise for a friend nearby, he'll suddenly feel excited for something that'll come within a minute, though can't explain why. - Energy Manipulation: Can create small blasts of green energy. If he focuses enough and has enough energy, it can momentarily stun a person. If he practiced with it, he could be more powerful. HeavenlysGil Roshan(77, male, half-valkry)+Esma Roshan(73, female)= Akiva Roshan(45, male), Dara Roshan(42, female), Bama Roshan(40, male), Zimra Roshan(35, female) ?+?= Nitsa Migdal(44, female), Dalfon Migdal(40, male), Opall Migdal(38, female) Akiva Roshan+Nitsa Roshan= Avani Roshan(23, female), Rishon Roshan(20, male), Gita Roshan(17, female), Varda Roshan(16, female), Zalmon Roshan(13, male) Dalfon Roshan+Crystin Roshan(41, female)= Chanda Roshan(20, male), Tovah Roshan(18, female), Aurel Roshan(12, male), Kornel Roshan(10, male) Bama Roshan+Kasi Zaman(40, female)= Orali Roshan-Zaman(15, female), Mazin Roshan-Zaman(13, female) Virgil Writh(38, male)+Zimra Writh= Asa Writh(13, male), Yair Writh(9, male), Vita Writh(5, female), Dagan Writh(1, female), Gad Writh(1, male) Dara Roshan+Sippora Feld(39, female) ElementalsZenas Floros(Air, 65, male)+Filia Floros(Earth, 62, female)= Maia Floros(Air, 29 at death, would be 41 now, female), Orien Floros(Earth, 34, male) Maia Floros+*?= Lysandra Floros(Void, 22, female) *Father not in the picture Mage/FaeErnalynn Darla Vladimiri(Mage, 57, female)+Eligius Vladimiri(Fae, 55, male)= Demelza Otha Vladimiri(30, female), Serverin Parle Vladimiri(27, male), Cripsen Desi Vladimiri(22, male)

1. Thank you!!! That would defiantly be horrible for Clari. Perhaps she completely isolated on this room somewhere, but the doors aren't locked, the windows are open, and she's given everything she needs to flee. That would really wear on her, especially if she could hear something in the other room of the prophecy members being tested as well or some junk like that. The idea of being able to leave, but being trapped by a need to keep the other members alive would kill her.
2. Being given a choice to leave or stay would be gut-wrenching though I'm not sure about memory loss. It just seems to be a little tooo much in my opinion. Most of our characters are probably going to loose someone along the way in the attack we have planned so I could totally see them struggling with deciding. I mean at that point, they'll have gone through hell and back so it wouldn't be unbelievable if some want to go to their long lost friends and family. I had a horrible thought of killing off Clarisse's mom in the attack and Clari wanting to stay dead because she never got a chance to apologize for being a brat.
3. Starchaser I think you should listen to this song. It gives me SUCH Zane vibes and I've been listening to it all day and night because a friend recommended it to me: It Will Come Back by Hozier Seriously though, I was dying as I read your last reply to this song because it fits his characterization so freaking well.

1. One of my favorite things about y'all is that y'all are allllllll for the angst. I'm so glad that y'all just love to torture characters as much as me (that sounds so freaking morbid but it's the truth so) because I can just throw all the angsty plot lines out without fear.
See this is why I love you because this rp suddenly and briefly turning into a hard core horror sounds like SO MUCH FUN. Like I'm not even a huge fan of horror, but can you imagine the angst??? Clarisse suddenly being unable to shift and completely cut off from the others as the others undergo horrors of their own? EPIC. Even as I'm writing this, I can imagine a situation where Avani's wings get brutalized but that might be a bit too far. XD
2. Honestly, I think it would be a really interesting dynamic if some of the character DID choose to stay dead. Still, I don't think Clari would choose to die. Well, more like I don't think her mother would ever allow her to throw away her life just because they had a rough relationship. If we do the romance right, then she will choose to go back to Zane (and the rest of her pack) in a heartbeat. The meme is more than fitting. XD And no! Zane can't die if Clari doesn't die!
3. Tbh, that song is freaking amazing. Now I understand the quote under your profile pic as well. I think it works super well for Clarisse. I've been listening to more of The Crane Wives because I really like their stuff. Pretty Little Things is probably my favorite right now.

Starchaser - I am the king of torturing characters. If you're a character in a story, you don't want me pulling the strings. I kill an entire family except for one character, and force them to live a pained existence, just for some enjoyment. I'm glad, though, to have found a group of people who will do the same, and will just torture the characters for a bit of fun, even if it's for angst.
Goodbye, Avani's wings! Hello burns on Alex. As you can see, I will gladly be the invisible villain of the tale. c:< 2.If Zane dies, we could make Wendell feel remorse, after all they went through together, showing how much Wendell has grown. So:
*Chanting* Dead Zane! Dead Zane! Dead Zane!
