vent thread 4 all

I have Covid. I’m surprised I went 4 years without getting it. Right now I have a bad sore throat, fever, and fatigue. Also breathing problems if I do anything. I hope my asthma doesn’t act up during this.

My butt hurts. I’ve played D&D all day and they had VERY UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS. Also, other stuff that’s way worse but I don’t have the energy rn.

So you guys remember how I mentioned elsewhere that Tropical Storm Debby was going to hit my area? It’s supposed to stall over us. For five days. Areas will get up to 30 inches of rain. Great.

This is happening while I recover from Covid. Just not a good couple of days for me.

My roommate mostly keeps to themselves, but when they do choose to talk to me, it’s because I did something wrong in their eyes. Makes me feel reallly welcomed.

My current list of crimes
-a cat snuck into my room and got shut in for a few hours by accident
-leaving the door to my room open (when roommate leaves their door open almost all the time…😒)
-opening up a window when it was nice outside
-letting a cat out on the porch when said cat was “grounded” (didn’t know this because roommate never talks to me until after I do something wrong, I can’t read fking minds)
-left the door to the back porch unlocked by accident for a night (and this is partly because I didn’t realize I wasn’t locking the door properly. Door had a weird locking mechanism…)
-forgot to flush the toilet once after a shower

They are not a bad person to live with though. It’s just irritating that they treat me like some sort of worthless intruder.

We’re back to flood concerns… again. At least for the neighborhood near mine. The river that borders it is slowly rising once more. I might evacuate with my pets later today. House will probably be fine since it wasn’t impacted in the last flood (none of the houses in my neighborhood were), but I don’t want to get stranded for a few days. The 4 to 6 lane road between the two neighborhoods was impacted a bit in the 2015 flood.

So exhausting to deal with. This can’t end soon enough. I hope things are better later today. Friday is supposed to be our last weather alert day. Hopefully that will include no more risk of flooding.

Anyways this is why no one likes stalled hurricanes or tropical storms. It’s better when they move quickly.

i wanna text my best friend but idk how to start a conversation. if i text them first im worried theyll think im annoying but if i dont she might worry i dont want to be friends anymore. they probably also have this problem tho, so im trying not to worry, but texting them makes me happy and i wanna do it. also i have trust issues so that sucks :3

lol, that’s definitely not what I was expecting. Since they’re kids they probably won’t know what they are. I accidentally gave myself a hickey a while ago and this is the stupidest story btw- but this was a couple years ago and I was in the shower and there was like a pool of water on my shoulder and idek what was up with me but I was like OOH WATER and just like slurped it up or something and gave myself a hickey by accident lmao 

I hate how something good happening to me has to be immediately followed up by something bad happening. It's like they always have to cancel out so I can never have a completely happy day
