Glad you like it! I also really enjoy the idea that Arfen is seen as the one of who only takes bad spirits to werewolves, but actually has a sort of... side afterlife that's for all good shifters. Yes, let's do it. I imagine most shifters also have their own gods, but it would be interesting if they kept Rafe and Arfen as part of their pantheon because of their origins from werewolves. Their roles would just be swapped, as you said.
I'm just thinking about how when Clarisse goes to the bar she's gonna find her two friends crying and being emotional messes together and the other two chosen ones being drunk messes together, and I think that's really funny. }

The MOMENT I read that from Zane, I knew I had to do it. Face it: Zane is Zuko. Daddy issues, trying to restore his honor and win his father over again, and socially awkward as heck. Not to mention SCARRED.

(Sounds good, Starchaser! Also the idea that werewolves can't get drunk (based off of one of Shoot's most recent posts) reminds me of these quotes from Warkbreaker, a book. "'More wine,' Lightsing said, raising his cup. 'You can't get drunk, Your Grace,' Llarimar noted. 'Your body is immune to toxins.' 'I know,' Lightsong said as a lesser servant filled his cup. Wow, I went to take a quiz and came back to soooo many responses. HELLO EVERYONE! Welcome back our channel! I see my keen eye for Zuko lookalikes has summoned all the ATLA fans. XD
First, what do you meeeaaannn you haven't seen ATLA, Star?? Are you sleeping on a masterpiece? Get it together girlfriend. That way you can see just how close Zane is to Zuko. He's just a bit less... angry. It still stacks up pretty well though.
Second, I have never read that series, Amber, but it seems like a hoot and a half. It's perfect for the situation we are in right now. XD)

(Warbreaker is actually a stand alone novel(though there is a sequel planned for some point and it connects to a wider universe, though that would be a lot of rambling on my end) and a really good one. It definitely is a hoot, especially with Lightsong and Nightblood(it's a sentient sword and is one of the best characters). Speaking of, he's literally one of the best and one of my favorites in the book. Also, just saying, the author has it free on his website here in case anyone's interested... Though as a side note, there were a few parts that made my asexual self a little uncomfortable, but it wans't really anything bad or in your face.) |

Yes xD In my mind, it took place in a real world Modern AU, in which all the characters go to college together. Clarisse and Avani are roommates. Zane and Redis are roommates. Redis is Clari's childhood best friend. Shenanigans ensue. I'd actually love to write this, I think it would be fun to try to make the characters fit into just an average slice of life RP.
I keep meaning to but, ugh, rl responsibilities. That I mostly ignore to play on a cat forum because it got me through middle school, so why not now? }

(They really are fun. I recently reread Warbreaker again and forgot how much I loved it. It's a fun book with likable and memorable characters and a lot of fun twists.
Okay, but Clarisse and Avani being roommates is just such a great AU idea.)

I have no clue what they would all be studying. I think Alex would probably live alone off-campus. Lilah lives alone off-campus too because she just does. Alex and Lilah are besties, obviously. Not sure how everyone else would be, but they're doing whatever. Instead of being part of a prophecy together, they all get assigned to a group project in the one class they share and become a friend group. The most powerful friend group at that university.
Just kidding...

Ah yeah, I got you. XD I feel like Clarisse would be that one kid that was pressured into majoring in business because her parents own like half of the world. XD But quickly switches into something like nursing or even international studies so she can freely travel the world. I don't know about everyone else though. XD I would be so down for some good rping/writing/brainstorming on the side when we feel like it. ) |

{ @ both of you guys: Sorry for the wait and general iffiness of this post, I don't know what's up with me today. I tried to make an opening for us to move the group to the bar (where Lys is). Not sure how well I did it, but... *gestures vaguely* Anyways, sorry my characters have a mental breakdown every other post. That's show biz when they've all got terrible backstories * finger guns*
Amber I think that it looks like most, if not all, of us haven't ever been drunk (or even had a drink before), so it's oddly comforting to know that none of us have a frame of reference. Now I don't need to be as concerned with realism.
Lilah is what the kids call troubled. As is the case with most of my characters, though I do think Lilah probably takes the win on that one. Geez, poor Cris is going to have a terrible night. Stop getting innocent people involved in your awful, complicated life, Lilah. She freaking made that poor guy swear on the stars (which is like the Mage version of swearing something on Rafe's lifeblood) not to leave her when she's known him for 30 minutes.
My constant struggle. Also, glad to hear about your mom!
Also, I can't believe I didn't notice how opposite Cris and Alex are until you mentioned it. I mean, obviously they are quite different, but I didn't think about it in that context. And yet, somehow, they are the two people Lilah has currently decided she likes the most right now. I also love how differently they all feel about each other.
mossecho Oh, that's where that quote came from? I knew Alex's was from Doctor Who, but I had no idea Lu's was.
Also, your layouts are so beautiful. Did you take those pictures yourself? Cause, as someone who is really into photography despite being terrible at it, I'm jealous. Honestly, I think it's poetic cinema that his main fears/things that can harm him are his pictures. }
