Shimmerscale is nice. I prefer it over Scaleshine.
Heads up, I have tapatalk but my phone is wonky, so I'll be using that to tell when I need to check here. I'll be working on the banners and images, so my posting on here will be slightly diminished. |

If you have the chance to either lead a clan or moderate one, would you have the time to do so?

I know I'm not an official helper, and only a handful of you are familiar with me, but I had an idea for this, and Sand has encouraged me to submit it.
In the rules, there are mentions of 'god-modding/powerplay,' 'spotlighting,' and 'Mary Sues.' I dunno about you guys, but when I first joined the forums, I had no idea what any of those terms meant. I have also noticed that we've had a slight influx of new members recently, some of whom might not be familiar with these terms either. So, I was thinking that it might be beneficial to include a small glossary after the rules, explaining what these words meant. Nothing big or flashy- just a helping hand to the new guys.
Anyways, that's all for now folks.

I'm thinking the glossary would go at the bottom of the rules after the part that says "Plots & Managing Them." Unless there's a place where it would fit better?
Also, Rain just told me we forgot a news section for the roleplay. Would it be best to include it on the clan's thread or a separate thread? Or both?
Also also, adding a new rule for Clan Owners & RP moderators; you'll have to use the roleplay profile whenever you have to make announcements or whatnot so it'll stick out. Is that okay with everyone?

Hmm, for the news thing, I think a separate thread for news might be best, maybe with a pretty brief summary of the really important events on the clan pages? I’ve seen a lot of clans with such a huge news section that it makes it look pretty cluttered tbh
And yeah Sand, Edit: Owl that seems like a really good idea to have the announcements stand out and get everyone’s attention and stuff!

Just an example. I also know that icon was deleted because it was ugly. If we make it pop, it'll stick out, but we should also head our posts stating it is an announcement and tag all members involved.
I also recommend any contests we have or game nights, it should be on the news page. We can tag people as well to remind them before we start, as they should have to tell us that they're coming. |

I'm also going to be that person right now. For my role-plays, and some others I have seen, I typically put cats in colors by their gender. Males are in b1d6ff, females are in ffc5c5, and non-binary cats are in 93bd93. I think it's easier to tell right off the bat and could look nice. |
