Smokefeather - In Camp - Stormfang
Smokefeather ate his mouse slowly, carefully, eyes scanning the camp and the casual chatter and social interaction happening within. It made a stone sit in his belly, heavy and cold, wondering how many of those soft mews scared between clanmates were aimed in his direction. How many were waiting for for him to lash out and take one of Cardinalstar's lives just like... He shook his head sharply, trying to dispel his mother's face from his mind. He took a ferocious bite of his mouse, eyes scanning the camp again before his eyes landed on their deputy. Stormfang made his mind race even more than others, other than maybe Cardinalstar himself. Stormfang could easily oust him from the clan, either himself or by convincing Cardinalstar, whenever he wanted. When would be the instance that cost Smokefeather his home?
Nettleskip - Near the Winding Stream - Coonpaw
Nettleskip hummed a little tune as she buried a frog, her tail swishing happily as her pelt rippled with the thrill of the hunt. She had been out since dawn hunting and she still had energy to burn. She could hear the humming of new leaf mixed with the bubbling of the stream and it made her giggle with anticipation as she shook the dust from her pelt. Sure there wasn't a lot of prey hopping around, but that just meant that there was lots of time to look for some. She held her breath so that she could be as quiet as possible, ears pricked and listening intently for more signs of life.

Coonpaw - Winding Streams - Nettleskip
Eating much of the frog, he picked up the frog with his mouth and tossed it into one of the streams. This caused a loud splash, but figuring he was alone Coonpaw didn't care. He took a seat on a rock and washed his face with his paws, swiping his paw over his ripped up ears and scarred muzzle. Many moons of training with his mother caused these scars, but he wore them proudly. While some would see his mother as cruel or insane, he never saw anything more than a cat with a broken heart.

Crowsong [ in camp ] The black she-cat perked her ears at the greeting, setting her meager catch on the pile before allowing herself to sit near Thistlebloom. Making conversation wasn't a skill that Crowsong had much strength in, though she did try. "Morning," she simply stated back, unsure how to go on from there. Nervousness prickled along her spine and she tried to hide it with a few quick licks to her chest fur. Her gaze slipped to her brother, searching desperately for a topic to talk about. Not that she was sure Thistlebloom even wanted to speak, seeing as she was trying to eat her breakfast. Didn't most clan-mates share-tongues while they ate though? Pale yellow eyes fell to her paws as she fell back on her usual safety net - the weather. "It's starting to warm up," Crowsong said, glancing at the rising sun.
Stormfang [ in camp ] The sound of chatter brought him out of his thoughts and the tom lifted his head, his deep blue gaze sweeping over the two warriors at the fresh-kill pile and Thornpaw bounding towards his mentor, leaving Bramblepaw sitting near the Apprentices Den. He hadn't even noticed that his golden furred apprentice was awake, much less waiting for his attention. He clearly caught the hesitance in her expression and had to fight off a smile. Bramblepaw was a ball of energy most of the time, which made it a little hard for him to keep up at times. "Bramblepaw," he called, nodding his head for the young she-cat to approach. His gaze then slid over to Smokefeather and he dipped his head in a friendly greeting. "Good morning," he called to both apprentice and warrior, forcing a smile though he felt too tired.

Thistlebloom- In Camp - Crowsong
Thistlebloom noticed some of Crowsong's nervousness, the two she-cats weren't exactly best friends by any means but they were still clanmates and needed to talk from time to time. She swallowed the piece of food she had in her mouth before speaking, "Yes it is, feels nice to finally feel the sun's warmth again isn't it?" she mewed with a small smile. Never the best conversationalist, Thistlebloom gave it her best shot to respond.
Bramblepaw - In Camp - Stormfang
Upon hearing her mentor's greeting, the young apprentice snapped out of her train of thought and smile. "Good morning, Stormfang!" she mewed happily as she bounded over to him. She skidded to a halt and sat down a tail-length away from him. "Any ideas what we'll be doing today?" she asked, her amber eyes shinning brightly and her whole body perked up with eagerness. Always the eager-beaver of the apprentices, she always felt the need to show as much interest in being a warrior as possible. The clan took her in, so the least she could do was be loyal and determined to protecting her home.

Smokefeather - In Camp - Stormfang/Bramblepaw
Smokefeather narrowed his eyes at the greeting, pulling the piddly remains of his mouse closer, though he had begun to lose his appetite. He braces himself for a conversation before Bramblepaw bounded over and snapped the line of eye contact between the two warriors. Bramblepaw's presence in the camp confused him slightly, like her cheerfulness and youth made her a more worthy clanmate then his brother had been. A couple of the warriors were like this; was cheer the secret to acceptance from the clan? He shook his head and tried in vain to ignore the other cats, his tail twitching with the adrenaline brought on by his typical panic.
Nettleskip - Winding Stream - Coonpaw
Nettleskip chirruped as she heard the splash. That must've been one fat frog to make a splash like that one! With a happy purr, she slunk through the plant-life and poked her head out of a cluster of reeds that separated the more tree-heavy area from the stream. To her surprise, it wasn't a frog she saw, but a cat instead! A beefy looking cat with odd markings that didn't seem like any she'd seen from the cats in her camp. The eyes caught her attention, a similar shade to grumpy ol' Smokefeather back at camp, but she had been too young when the exiles occurred to make any connection. "Hey there!" Nettleskip mewed in the cat's direction as she freed herself from the clump of reeds, her tail curled in amusement, "I don't think you're supposed to be here friend! See, that stream belongs to a bunch of big mean wild cats that live around here! Y'know, like me! So whatcha doing on our rock?"

(Here)
Frostfang: In Camp
Frostfang slowly leaves the warriors den and lets out a small yawn. He settles on his haunches and starts to groom his fur. Frostfang twitches his ears as he listens to the sounds going on around him. He wondered if any of the patrols had been sent out or not. He eyed the fresh kill pile wondering if he could snag a bite now or later.
Hollystone: Lilypad Lake
Hollystone reaches the lake and takes a moment to take in everything. She carefully makes her way down bank and peers into the water. She could see some fish swimming by minding their own business. Hollystone slowly steps into the water and watches as the fish scatter. "Swimming away won't save you." She muttered as she gets into a good position to catch the fish. She peers down and prepares herself as she waits for the fish to come by her.

Crowsong [ in camp ] A strong wave of relief washed over Crowsong as her topic was accepted easily by her clan-mate. She let her eyelids fall against the sunlight, enjoying the warmth that soaked into her face. "I definitely prefer it to Leaf-bare. Especially since the prey is beginning to come back," she admitted, a casting a meaningful glance at the meager pile. Though she sent a quick prayer to StarClan for every morsel, reminding herself not to complain. The black furred molly settled down more comfortably, no longer letting her paws shift in the dirt. She didn't want to blatantly show how uneasy speaking made her, especially when the conversation wasn't going to horribly.
Stormfang [ in camp ] The deputy shook his head, whether in exasperation or fondness was up for debate, as his apprentice slid to a halt before him. He wished he felt a mouse-full of her energy this morning. "Well, to start, we're going out on Dawn Patrol, with Frostfang, Smokefeather, and possibly Lionhowl. I'll have to see if he has other plans with Thornpaw," Stormfang admitted, casting his gaze around for the selected cats. After the patrol he'd have to check in with Cardinalstar and then get the rest of today's patrols organized. Then he'd have to get some training done. He'd taken Bramblepaw hunting yesterday, so he considered doing some fighting practice this afternoon.

(Hey, hope it's alright if I join!)
Oleanderpaw - A somewhat undersized apprentice with a long, soft, dark russet pelt. She's decorated with black speckles along her back, and black freckle-like markings on her face, with contrasting white ear tips and paws, a white diamond on her chest, and amber eyes to top it off. Young and foolish, Oleanderpaw sports an arrogant and rude personality, and tends to talk about warriors or other cats she dislikes behind their backs. She's a fan of pranks, and is oblivious to the fact that while some are funny, others hurt cats. She'll try to push the blame onto whoever she wants, even if they're her friend, and her overall disrespect and disdain of other cats has led her to be majorly disliked by cats who don't share her type of personality. Despite this, she's not immune to perhaps maturing as she grows older, but it seems she has a way to go until she does that, if ever.
Weaselsight - A pale, lanky brown tom with a long tail tipped with a whitish-gold color, of which his chest and underbelly also share. He has a singular green eye, the other of which is missing due to former abuse from his twoleg owners, who are also responsible for a torn ear, a permanently broken front leg, and a few patches of missing fur along his body. He's a very jumpy cat, and he always seems on high alert, looking around as if he thinks something's going to jump out at him. He's sensitive and shy, and is rather reclusive, yet when actually talked to, he's one of the friendliest, sweetest cats you'll get to know. Other than that, he's rather afraid of clan life, and really only joined VenomClan because he didn't have anywhere else to go. He's considering asking Foxleaf if he could become her apprentice, yet he seems to be holding back, as if he doesn't want to bother her by asking.
(And that's them :O If ya couldn't tell, I kinda wanna have Weaselsight become the med cat apprentice! Tho I do wanna play out him asking in rp kinda. Anyways I hope they're okay!)

Coonpaw - Winding Streams - Nettleskip
Coonpaw's ears flicked in the direction of the greeting, he looked over and saw the sandy colored tabby coming toward him. His claws flexed for a moment, ready to defend himself in case of an attack or ambush. He part his mouth and took in the scents around him, he could tell the she-cat was obviously Venomclan, and that she was currently alone. He let his body relax a little, not seeing the she-cat as much of a threat. He was surprised by her calm and somewhat friendly demeanor, even more so by her use of the word 'friend'. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "Big mean wild cats huh? While I agree Venomclan is mean, that doesn't really scare me much." Coonpaw mewed, his tail flicking behind him and his whiskers twitching in amusement.
Thistlebloom - In Camp - Crowsong
Thistlebloom nodded in agree with Crowsong, taking another bite of her food finishing half of it. With a quick chew and swallow she was ready to speak again, "Yes more prey is wonderful, though I will admit I'm not looking forward to the green-leaf heat!" The long-haired calico replied with a bit of humor. Deciding to be friendly, she nudge to other half of her mouse to Crowsong. "Would you like some?" She asked, feeling a bit anxious about the possibility of rejection.
Bramblepaw - In Camp - Stormfang
The apprentice's eyes lit up, getting the see the territory was always a fun experience to her. Getting to hear all the sounds of the forest, the smells, and the sights made her heart race a little. "The sounds wonderful, I can't wait!" She purred a little, her eyes looking at her mentor happily. She followed Stormfang's gaze and looked at the other cats who may be joining them on the patrol.

Smokefeather - In Camp - Patrol
Smokefeather bristled upon hearing his name mentioned for the dawn patrol. Granted, his jumpiness made him fairly good at patrolling, he could pinpoint an unfamiliar sound like it was nobody's business. He swept the remains of his mouse towards whoever was closest, not having the stomach for it anymore, before standing and padding over to the camp exit to wait for the remainder of the patrol. His tail and ears twitched as he watched Stormfang gather the rest of the dawn patrol cats. He quietly hoped that Lionhowl would be unavailable- the less cats to drive him away from the clan, the better. Still, that would make for a weaker patrol, so he kept his mouth shut.
Nettleskip - Winding Streams - Coonpaw
"Really? But you look like some everyday wild cat, maaaaybe a kittypet if your twolegs were particularly scraggly. Why shouldn't you be afraid of a bunch of clan cats with claws meant to kill?" Nettleskip purred in amusement. This cat was an interesting duck, he seemed so calm about this whole scenario. She wanted to keep playing with him, figure out exactly how much he knew while revealing as little of her side as possible. Such a game was always fun to play in the sandy tabby's opinion. "And I never told you the name of the cats who live around here, I just said that there were wild cats. What makes you give them a name?"

Frostleaf |Camp| Communicating with:
Frostleaf yawned and went to the fresh kill pike to see what was available to her liking. A mouse there, a vole was on the edge of the pile on the bottom. She grabbed a thrush and started eating. She kept her ears open for gossip and to get a handle on what was going on in the Clan. I wonder what I’ll be doing today, she thought. The she cat finished her meal and disposed of the bones. Frostleaf went searching for something to keep herself busy. She noticed that a patrol was starting to form, so she bounded over. “Hey, how’s everybody doing? I just got up from a nap,” she said in a slightly groggily tone in her voice.

Coonpaw - Winding Streams - Nettleskip
Coonpaw rose to his paws, but didn't make any sudden movements toward the she-cat. "How do I know about Venomclan?" He couldn't help but grin as the question rolled off his tongue. The thin tom narrowed his eyes for a moment, "You don't look to be too old, so you're neither a mouse-brain or an elder with memory loss..." He mumbled half to himself. "Who I am shouldn't be important to you, but knowing who you are is important to me." He mewed with a small smile, he knew it was a long shot to figure out who the she-cat was. But since she didn't know him maybe this could work to his advantage.

Oleanderpaw - Camp - Interacting With: N/A
Oleanderpaw's eyes slowly opened as her ears picked up the sounds of various cats moving around and making conversation in camp, the noise disrupting her otherwise peaceful sleep. The apprentice closed her eyes again as she yawned, stretching in her nest before she rose to her paws, shook out her dark pelt, and sat down once she was done. She quickly groomed herself, smoothing down her ruffled fur and picking out any pieces off moss from her nest that might've decided to cling to her in her sleep. As she finished, she turned her head to face the entrance to the apprentice's den, squinting at the sunlight that flooded in from outside.
Mousedung, she cursed to herself. I woke up late... whatever. Shouldn't matter too much, since if there was anything urgent, or otherwise important that Spruceshadow wanted to do today, he would've woken me up earlier. She got up from her sitting position, and calmly made her way out of the den, having to readjust to the light again once she stepped outside, the sunlight nearly blinding her. She silently cursed the sun for being such an annoyance, and then looked around the camp, trying to figure out where Spruceshadow could be. Upon seeing no signs of him, she shrugged it off and decided to simply lay on the ground and bask in the warmth of the sun's light until he showed up. No harm in not caring too much about your training, right?
Weaselsight - Sweetberry Grove - Interacting With: N/A
Weaselsight had left camp to head to Sweetberry Grove after the dawn patrol had been selected, seeing as he didn't have to go on it. He would've preferred to go to winding streams, as the gentle sound of the running water helped greatly to calm his nerves, yet he seemed to sense that someone else would probably go there today. He sighed as he lay next to a berry bush, staring up into the sky anxiously, watching out in case any hawks would show up, even if it was unlikely that they would in this area. His attention suddenly switched back to the ground as he heard the rustling of a small creature, which turned out to be a robin not too far from his current position.
He got up as quietly as he could, getting into a shaky hunting crouch. He checked the wind, making sure it wasn't blowing his scent towards the prey's, and slowly stalked towards the bird, making sure to keep his limp as gentle as possible, so that the thud of his paws against the ground wouldn't alert the robin. After getting close enough, he lowered himself even further, his belly fur brushing against the grass at this point. He wiggled his haunches slightly, before leaping at the bird, his working front leg outstretched and his jaws opened. He missed by a thin margin, a stumbled slightly, but reacted quickly, leaping again at the bird as it attempted to fly away, and hooking one of its wings with a claw, dragging it back onto the ground. He killed it with a swift bite, and took a moment to breathe afterwards.
He was satisfied with his catch, and had the slight urge to see if he could catch anything else, yet he knew that his error in technique would've most likely scared off the other prey in the area with all the extra noise he had caused. He mentally shrugged it off, and picked up his catch, making his way back to camp with it.

Hollystone: At Lily pad Lake
Hollystone watches as the fish start swimming by her again. She stares down at the water for a few moments before lunging down and catching a fish in her jaws. She shakes water from her face as the fish in question flops around in her jaws. Hollystone walks back towards the shore and places the fish down. "That's one." She mutters wondering if she can grab at least two more.

Crowsong [ in camp -- Thistlebloom ] Her yellow gaze raked over the long-haired she-cat's coat, a spark of amusement hitting her unexpectedly. Crowsong had a sleek pelt, that allowed her to swim well but did little to keep her warm. Still, she imagined that Thistlebloom was the one at a disadvantage during Green-leaf. "That makes sense. Do you swim more in the warmer moons?" the quiet warrior questioned, a little curious how her den-mate coped with the heat. Surprise widened her eyes when Thistlebloom nudged the mouse close to her own black paws. "Thank you," she replied, her voice quiet with gratitude and more than a little embarrassment. Stormfang always told her she needed to interact with others more. Crowsong supposed it wasn't actually so bad, at least with Thistlebloom. She took a small bite, enjoying the mouse and finding she was hungrier than she thought she was.
Stormfang [ in camp -- Bramblepaw, Frostleaf, Frostfang & Smokefeather ] The deputy watched the brightness enter his apprentice's eyes. Bramblepaw kept him on his toes but also helped to keep him driven. Her eagerness to learn encouraged him to work harder to be the sort of mentor she deserved. His attention turned to Frostleaf when she approached the group, dipping his head in greeting. "Since you're here, Frostleaf, you can join the Dawn Patrol. Has anyone seen Frostfang this morning? Is he still sleeping?" Stormfang questioned, standing with a firm shake of his gray fur. "We need to get moving," he said, peering up at the sun, which was steadily beginning it's climb. They didn't have time to delay really.
( Sorry about disappearing for a few days, my cousin came over unexpectedly and it's the first time I've seen her since this whole mess started, so I've been spending time with her. Also, I kinda love Thistle and Crow's awkwardness. cx )

Frostleaf| In Camp| Communicating with: Stormfang (Littleclaw blu)
Frostleaf nodded. “Thank you for letting me join, Stormfang,” she said while looking towards the direction the tom was looking at. She gave a tail flick and waited for the patrol to follow her outside of camp. The she cat caught the glow of the sunset descending over the horizon. It was a pretty sight to behold, but also a cat can go blind by staring at it for too long. Frostleaf focused her gaze in front of her, observing the surroundings of the camp entrance as she walked out with the group. Her ears could catch the subtle woosh of a bird flapping its wings above her. The skittering of some rodent in the ground beneath her paws. It almost felt surreal.
