“That’s really cool, that means you can manipulate light, right?”Spencer asked her, clearly impressed. She blushed when Kumiko asked her about her powers,”from what I said, letting little sparks of what looked like lightening surrounding her fingertips.
Nat continued on her way heading to her cabin and sat down outside, on the steps of her cabin.

Hunter was distracted from his thoughts by a voice. He turned his head to spot Nakita. “Oh hey!” He greeted with a smile. “Yeah I didn’t feel like eating tonight.” He spoke. Drake glanced towards his half sister a moment. “A heartburn commercial?” He asked. “What’s that suppose to mean.” “Means you look like a happy little old man basking in the magical sunlight.” Sasha crooned, adjusting her shirt a bit more around her chest. “I’m going to try and see if I can get Erin to notice my girls when I pester her today. What about you, sunshine? Anyone you want to distract with your girls today?” She asked shamelessly, enjoying teasing and pestering, especially if it led to a fight or a spar. With Drake, it was more of a sibling sort of pestering, reserved for him. |

Moon, I think you missed me) “No, escargot is an acquired taste anyway. I learned my lesson.” Evelyn rolled her eyes with a chuckle as she pulled out some onions and tomatoes. “Something simple, maybe. Like a pasta skillet. Caramelized onions, some chicken too.” She offered, talking as she worked. “So. What have you been up to?” Thomas let out a sigh of relief as she said there wouldn't be any snails this time before licking his lips as she said everything else. With a smile he said," That sounds awesome sis, what can I do to help?" He wanted to do more to help Evelyn as a way of thanking her. |

Echo was glad that it was dark enough to hide the blush on her face when Mathias turned around, “Ah, no, I didn’t think to bring one with me.” She said, rubbing the back of her neck. The blush faded after a couple of seconds as she got closer before stopping at the edge of the water, “I didn’t think you would be a Shinedown fan.”
Kumiko gave a nod, “Yup, but it took a lot of training to get it under complete control.” She said, giving her a nudge, “Don’t worry, once you start training, you’re control will get better. All children of the Big Three are destined to be great heroes one day.” Kumiko added, looking up as the cab started to slow down, “Looks like we’re here.”
Nakita blinked at him, “Make sure you at least have a small snack. It’s not good to skip meals.” She said, jumping up from her seat and looping her arm through his, “Anyways, if you’re done, let’s go have some fun! I’m bored out of my mind here!” Nakita giggled, tugging him away from the cabins. She spotted Natasha at the Hermes cabin and called out to her, practically dragging Hunter along with her.

Christian nodded,”she is powerful, you were smart. I think she could’ve taken you out,”he said with a little smirk. “So your real parent…Hecate, right?”he asked in a more hushed tone. “What can you do?”he added.
Kumiko raised an eyebrow. “Destined to be a hero, huh?…I’m no hero,”she said softly. “I mean…I’ve met Hunter. My half-brother? Now he looks like a hero. I’m still really new to all this honestly. Honestly, I don’t think I could realy see myself as a hero,”she told her, truthfully.
Natasha look up at the sound of Nakita’s voice and lit up are the sight of her two closest friends,”Hey guys! What’re you up to?”she asked, getting to get feet and approaching them.

“That’s because he’s had years of training.” Kumiko pointed out, “You’ve only been here for about a week now.” She remembered when she first came to camp and was learning how to control her abilities. At first she could barely create a ball of light, and then there were times when it would explode when she wasn’t ready for it. “It takes time, that’s all. I bet in a few months time, you’ll be a natural.”
(*presses timeskip for Cat and Jared*)
The next morning, Cat was changing into her training outfit and gear, getting ready for the start of her day. Obsidian braided her long dark hair for her before sending her off with a wave, glad to see her little half sister so eager to train. Cat walked towards the training area, carrying her new weapon with her, a long Celestial Bronze bo staff that collapsed into two.

Spencer nodded,”I’m sure, eventually I’ll feel better but it…but I never imagined being some kind of hero,”she told Kumiko with a small smile. “Anyway, what can you tell me about camp? Who is cool around here? Other than you,”she said with a cheery smile, changing the subject.
Jared had put on his training gear and was now heading out to the training area to meet with Kat, as they had planned. “Morning!”he said, as he spotted her walking there, jogging to catch up to her.

Kumiko opened the door and got out of the cab once it had pulled over, “Well, we have a lot of activities we do, but they can get repetitive after a while.” She said, “We do have a few special events every now and then. Capture the Flag is every Friday, which is actually in a couple of days. I’m sure Echo has been working out a strategy all week. As for who’s cool, you might fit in with my group if friends, we have a tendency to have some crazy adventures though.” Kumiko added as she giggled.
Cat turned her head towards Jared’s voice and gave him a smile, “Hey, you’re on time.” She said, happy he came. “Ready to train?”

Spencer let out a small laugh when she mentioned Capture the Flag,”right, I remember Capture the flag. It was on my first day here and I was terrified. Man you guys take camp really seriously. I mean I get it now, but wow,”she said, laughing as she thought back to how terrified she was.
Jared nodded at her, his sword in his hand,”oh yeah, I’m ready. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got,”he added, winking at her, even though he knew she couldn’t see it, but surely she heard it in his voice.

“I suppose the game could be pretty intense for newcomers,” Kumiko said, chuckling, “But once you get used to it, it’s really fun. It give us a chance to plan out a lot of different battle strategies.” She added, walking down the sidewalk towards the bustling stores, people passing them back and forth. “Normally the flag is fought for between Ares and Athena, but this time Aphrodite is leading the other team for once, which only happens on pretty rare occasions.”
Cat gave a small laugh, ready to show off what she had learned, “I think you’ll be impressed.” She said, grinning. Along with learning the bo staff, she had been working hard on pushing her senses to their limits, making their range larger than they were before.

Hunter let her drag him along with her towards Nat. He made a slightly worried face when she said fun however. “Let’s have some fun? Nakita when you say that I usually end up in A bad situation.” He complained.
Drake just rolled his eyes at her. “Sometimes it’s nice to just enjoy the sun and peace for a few minutes.” Shaking his head at her comments. “Leave Erin alone, I’m sure she doesn’t appreciate you bothering her.” He spoke, ignoring her question about if he had his eye on someone.

Echo gave a shake of her head, “Nah, I’m okay staying up here.” She said, sitting in the sand and crossing her legs. “So why did you want to come out here for tonight?” She asked.

Mathias treaded water leisurely, though his eyes remained trained on Echo as he watched her on the shore. He chuckled, before glancing up at the sky above them. "Open skies. Lots of stars. They were a lot easier to see, back home. Even if I was laying on sand and dry shrubs instead of a forest floor." He murmured, suddenly missing the open skies of Aswan, and the trips to Cairo and Alexandria in the rare moments his mother had time to travel there for work. Returning to the bustling markets and dry heat of his home. Egypt was so far away, even now. Surely his mother's visa would have run up. She was probably back home while he was still here. He shook his head, unable to think about how deeply he wanted to see her again. "I used to swim at night all the time. Though, it was a river, not a lake. It feels nice." He decided. "Why did you come out here for tonight? You want to spend time with me?" He teased, voice rich and low. |

The stars were rather clear tonight, but then again the weather at Camp Halfblood was always nice thanks to the borders, “It’s quieter out here at night then it is during the day. But spending time with you is an added bonus I suppose.” She teased back lightly.

Nat giggled lightly and went along with Nakita,”Actually, I would LOVE to get out,”she said hooking her arm through Nakita’s,”come on Hunter, who else would you rather get in trouble with than us. Let’s sneak out! Camp is boring right now, we need a break,”she said pouting at him.

But spending time with you is an added bonus I suppose.” She teased back lightly. Mathias was a little surprised to hear her words, feeling a warmth in his body that he had not felt in so long. Something deep, something that both comforted and scared him. He stilled for a split second, before he felt himself using his musing confidence to cover up his surprise. "Spending time with me was just that enticing, huh?" He teased, before letting himself dunk below the water to wet his hair. He swam back up, hand wiping the dark strands from his forehead as he looked at Echo again. "My home's probably odd to all the people here. Which is fine. This place was odd to me when I first got here. I got used to the forests, but some days I do miss the sand and stone. And, I definitely got used to the pretty things here." He looked right at her as he said it, not hiding the hint of flirtation in his voice. |

Her bitterness stirred in her gut, though it always came back to her pain of never knowing her mother, and having a life that she and her brother never asked for, nor deserved. She shook her head and smiled again. "Let's settle into the cabin then and you can show us all your pretty lights, Levin." Levin stood up as well, smiling right back at the twins. "It would be my pleasure, then." |

Floundering to try and grabbed the knife end up dropping it to the floor, a couple new cuts on his hand from his attempts at catching the knife. With a groan he asked,” Why did you have to ask that big sis?” |

I'll throw in a starter for anyone who wants, Kassie is a daughter of Hecate for reference)
Nothing. Just nothingness. She blinked her eyes in frustration as she tried to manifest an illusion in front of her, but sadly nothing interesting was appearing. Kassie clenched her fists, closing her eyes once more and felt a wave of tiredness wash over her. Quickly, her eyes snapped open to view an illusion of herself with her arms folded across her chest and a hard look on her face. "That's the best you can do?" Her illusion shook it's head in disappointment then vanished. That's it, not trying that after not eating again. Kassie pushed herself off the steps of the Hecate cabin and started toward the center of camp. Her mind was just like her body as it wondered aimlessly through the many thoughts Kassie had.
