His lungs took in a small breath as Shadow laid on the cot, waiting to see what damage he did to himself. As much as he did not like being in the infirmary, at least he have time to think about the warning he and the others received. There is a traitor amongst you. A frown crossed his face as doubt began to move into the fray, wanting to protect the camp but sad that someone would do this to, pretty much, family.

Blaze held up his hands as if he was backing off from the subject. "Okay, whatever you say. Come on, I'm sure I can show you one or two things myself and others have worked on," Blaze said with a smile. As he moved into the entrance way, he walked over to a downward spiral staircase into the main portion of the Forge. Heat was slightly intense from the many hot burning stoves, ovens, even an open flame. Yet, Blaze welcomed the heat, it comforted him as he knew this was where he belonged. Maybe he could find a way to produce the same type of internal fire inside himself. Blaze stepped off the staircase and headed over to his specific workbench and brushed aside one of his broken smoke mines. "Ignore that," Blaze said with a smirk and a rub of the back of his neck.

“Really now, I can’t do both?” Mathias gave a small grin, wanting to laugh at her reaction to his indications, but finding himself far more interested in making her blush again. He snickered as she punched his arm. “Sure. The beach. I have no issue going down there.” He shrugged innocently, before he hummed out.
“You should know by now that I’m no saint, Sparks.”

"Ah." Mathias hummed, realizing that she did not consider that he was not very picky when it came to feeling attraction for others. Though, he knew that his easy attractions were not shared by all people, or by most people really. Even so, as teasing as he could be, he did not want her to feel discomforted.
"Say the word and I'll keep my allusive words to myself, Sparks. I admittedly tend to have a very simple mindset around a lot of people. If that's not your thing, then I understand. I won't pack up and ignore you if you don't want me reaching out in that way." He admitted, honest to a fault and easy-going with such a subject. He looked at her for a while before he offered a tilt of his head.

"Ever had anyone say things like that before?" He asked, wondering if she had ever been flirted with, and if he had been moving way to fast for her.

"I won't ever tell you to care for the woman if she left you out of her own neglect. But, I do want you to consider that this ability of yours might not even be from Hephaestus. What exactly did it feel like, when you activated it?" Kyo asked, wanting to figure out how he could possibly help her.

"Yeah, yeah." Rosaline murmured, shaking her head. "It's just...okay. What if I'm rocking that studio, and a damn monster busts in and tears up my modeling partners?" She asked, a bit weary and frustrated at the thought of it.

Phoenix leaned against the cabin wall and tried to remember what she had felt when that strange power had suddenly appeared, “It’s hard to explain... but I think it felt like... light? But it also felt like there was a darkness there too, but not a bad kind of darkness. I don’t know, it doesn’t make any sense.” Phoenix said, rubbing her forehead in frustration.

“Well, when you put it that way, I see your point.” Obsidian said, sighing and crossing her arms, “You know, there are ways to hide our scent from the monsters.” She added.

Kumiko was helping in the infirmary with a couple of her siblings and stopped by Shadow’s cot, blinking in surprise when she saw how pale and exhausted he looked, “Woah. What happened to you.” She said, her eyes wide.

Phoenix shook her head, “If it was some curse, why would it attack her like that? You’ve seen Salem in action, I doubt she would cast a spell that backfires and hits her instead. And that wasn’t like anything the Apollo kids have. At least, not from I’ve seen.” She said.

“I think there’s some spells and potions. I know that some students or children of Hecate sell them.” Obsidian said, “They have stores all over the states, you just have to know where to look.”

Kumiko sat down on a chair next to the cot and checked Shadow over, “That’s rough.” She said, grabbing some ambrosia and breaking off a square, handing it to him, “Looks like your body is just feeling the effects of overextending your abilities. You should stay here for a little bit before going back to your cabin.”

Josie slowed her pace, no longer walking ahead of him but rather right beside him. The brunette camper stole a glance to Mathias as he explained himself and she listened carefully, appreciative of the fact that if need be he'd set some boundaries. Josie had to think to herself for a moment, tossing around the idea of potentially being flirted with by Mathias and how she felt about it. Truth be told it sent her stomach doing flips, not so much in a nervous way but almost as if she was excited by the thought of it. However, she's honestly unsure if it's because it would be Mathias on the other end, or if it was just a boy in general that would be giving her attention. 

"I don't know if anyone here really sees me in that way, that or maybe they're afraid to approach because of who my father is." Josie admits to him, not exactly been one to do a lot of flirting, but that mostly came from a lack of being flirted with. There's a long pause before she finally confesses, "If you were the one saying things like that, then I guess I wouldn't mind." 

Fran watched the way that Blaze worked curiously, head tilted and eyes wide with amazement at how fast he could move yet still maintain some grace. As he laughed, she laughed along as if she knew exactly what he was talking about when in reality she couldn't relate at all to it. Her gaze follows him as he moves from the bench over to the wall of shield, not even getting a chance to respond before he's moved on to showing her what he'd already been planning presenting, so she just smiles and nods when she gets a chance. 

Frances was starting to feel excited herself, almost forgetting about the heat as she focused on Blaze and how excited she was to be seeing a different side of him, one where he was in his element and confident of his actions. "Right!" She finally responded, starting to grin now as he strategically placed himself between her and the wall so she would be unable to see. Still, the blonde ducked and moved her body as if to get a better angle, to see past Blaze. "What is it?" Fran asked impatiently. 

”I’m sure they would have understood if that had happened.” Kumiko said, sitting back, “At least, I know Echo wouldn’t care. She’s not the type to blame someone for losing control.”

Kumiko frowned at Shadow and sat forward, “I wasn’t born yesterday, you know. And I’ve been here long enough to see plenty of demigods lose control, and not just children of the big three either.” She said, “A child of Hecate could cause just as much damage as a child of Hades if they lost control. Not only that, but Echo happens to be one of my best friends, so I think I would know more about her than you think.”

You're fine! Don't worry, trust me when it says that I'm online from like 5 PM to midnight that cause I leave a tab open on the page. I'm not working so I have a lot of time on my hands to just do whatever. Truly I wish I could be more motivated to do stuff right now)
