Blazer, I love this interaction, but I have never personally liked Ares, so a little bit of it's going into my writing lol) (Lmao, that’s okay! I doubt many people like Ares. He’s actually one of my favorite Gods, so it’s funny to see differences in likings, ya know? Mathias in general is pretty fun to rp.) |

Nat smiled, “perfect, that’s why I’m here”Nat agreed, knowing that Echo was a great person to train with. Nat herself was most skilled in hand to hand combat and archery, her small stature not allowing her to best handle swords and heavy weapons. But she was fast on her feet.
Jared frowned,”your bird is no fun,”he pouted. “You coming to train?”he asked her, walking alongside her.
Spencer moved over to the beach, seeing that there were quite a few campers there. She glanced over where some daughters of Aphrodite were hanging around lounging in the sand and made her was past them, trying to find a nice little secluded spot on the beach. She saw a tree on the edge of the beach and moved to go sit against it.

Phoenix grinned at him before grabbing a couple of water bottles she had brought with her and tossed one over to him. She sat down next to him, taking a drink from it, “Yeah. If you keep up with your training and quit slacking off, you’ll make a decent swordsman.” She said, crossing her ankles and resting her arms on her knees. She looked over at him, “That hellhound must’ve scared you.” Phoenix said, but not in a teasing manner. The son of Poseidon definitely seemed more withdrawn and not like his usual laidback self. Kumiko looked back at him, giving him a grin as she paused near the top of the climbing wall, “Oh, really?” She said, arching an eyebrow at him, “Prove it.” Also, for you, Fox lol) here you go, Fox ^.^) |

That way, next time I’ll be able to help fight if something happens again.” Connor looked up as he heard footsteps approaching and noticed Spencer heading for the tree he was sitting in. The son of Demeter stayed quiet, seeing that the girl hadn’t spotted him yet. |

Nat grinned at her, “I normally never make the first move,”she joked with a wink, the double meaning evident, before taking quick jab at Echo, aiming it for her waist. Ofcourse, Echo wasn’t an easy opponent, she knew that she would just block it. Rather, she was preparing herself for Echo’s possible countermove directly after the block.
Jared nodded,”understandable. You weren’t out in the forest when it happened right?”he asked her, tucking his hands into his pocket and watching the raven float into the distance.
“You gotta go to camp half-blood. You’re a demi-god! Oh and whose your daddy. Daddy-o Zeus. You’ve gotta learn to fight! It’s in your blood,”she muttered mockingly to herself. “I don’t know how to do any of this!”she grumbled a little louder, punching the tree before wincing at it and rubbing her fist. “First day here and monsters try to kill the entire camp,”she frowned. It seemed like trouble followed her everywhere.

It always seemed like the other campers tried to keep her out of the fighting, but she just wanted to help. Connor arched an eyebrow as the girl started talking to herself and punched the tree, “Hey. What’d the tree ever do to you?” He asked, looking down at her from his spot. |

Josie could only listen to the two bicker for so long before she decided to speak up. “Will you two cut it out?” She asked sharply, giving both boys a stern look. “Bickering isn’t going to help the situation. Shadow, I don’t think it was completely out of the question for Mathias to offer to carry you, you did collapse earlier. And, Mathias, there was no reason egg Shadow on like that.” Josie pointed out before letting out a heavy sigh. “Let’s just make sure Shadow is stable and then you two can fight all you want.” The brunette tightened her grip on Shadow, looking ahead now and focusing on just trying to get to the infirmary in a timely manner. "Ngh…" Mathias grunted, before he released a sigh and shrugged. "Fine. Whatever...let's go, before we never get there." He decided, a part of him a little cross that he was swayed so easily by her placating words, as if going against them would be a show of disrespect to her. He righted his grip on Shadow, looking forwards. |

Sometimes they are more focused on manipulating darkness. And sometimes, we can all see and hear the spirits that call out to us...they have been oddly quiet though, as of late." Nat barely dodged, Echo’s fist grazing her left arm as she quickly tried to shift close to her left shoulder. Nat grabbed the same arm that swung at her, trying to twist it behind Echo’s back to disable her somewhat and try get her to the ground.
Jared looked a bit sympathetic,”I’m sorry...you know they have your interests at heart,”he said lightly. “But, don’t worry. I’m sure you can get there,”he encouraged, hoping she’d perk up.
Spencer jerked in surprise looked up at the Demeter boy in the tree before frowning. “Um...nothing?”she stated, before looking at the tree and mumbling,”sorry”. She then blushed realizing she was apologizing to a tree. “Um...did you hear any of that?”she asked, a little tensed.

Nat did get momentarily unbalanced, receiving the knee to the side, and wincing at the hit, but she took the opportunity to grab Echo’s leg as it was going down while trying to knock the other legs out from under her, aiming her foot at the side of Echo’s knee.
Jared nodded lightly but shrugged,”I know. But hey, do you think at this point in your training you’d be able to properly hold your own?”he asked her, knowing the reality of the situation.
Spencer sighed lightly, “yeah, that’s me. Got myself a nickname already. They called me Thunderhead,”she said with a half grin, half grimace. “Why, what’ve you heard?” She asked curiously. This was the second time someone said they heard of her.

Echo grunted when Nat caught her leg and kicked out at her knee, the girl fell back and landed on the ground, but used her momentum to quickly roll into a crouch and kicked out her foot to sweep Nat’s feet out from under her.
Cat turned her head towards Jared, “Maybe, but I’m not sure, I’ve never had the chance to try.” She said, pulling out her dagger and fiddling with it. Cat flipped it around in her hand with ease, having gotten very familiar with it ever since she had started training with Jared.
Connor crossed his arms and leaned against the tree, “Don’t take too much offense to it.” He said, “Everyone gets a nickname sooner or later. What else have I heard? Well, Kumiko told me you almost dropped a tree on her, Jacob and Shard during Capture the Flag.”

As they walked, the image of camp burning flashed across his mind and flinched slightly. Blaze took in a deep breath as he continued on his path, but the image wouldn't leave. He tried to reposition his mind by focusing on something else. "So if you could change one detail in your cabin, what would it be?" Blaze asked with a small smile. Sadly, he wasn't the greatest person with small talk conversations. His mind was more geared toward machines and how to power them. Fran quirks a brow at his question, but doesn't find it very odd. She smiles to herself and starts to think for a moment, wondering if she would even change anything about her cabin at all. "Honestly, I really like my cabin, but I guess if I were to change anything I would probably substitute the grass floor for just regular flooring." Fran explained with a soft chuckle. "Though, it is nice to walk barefoot on." She adds after a moment, looking up at Blaze once again. "What about you?" |

No doubt Mathias would be a difficult opponent in a fight especially for whom he was an offspring of, but that didn't mean Shadow also wouldn't be someone to take lightly. After Josie spoke up, he respected the daughter of Zeus not because of her father, but she was a great leader around camp. For the most part Shadow stayed out of that type of role, not many wanted the input of a child of Hades. "Fun, I get be stuck with the musically gifted for awhile," Shadow mumbled.

Blaze gave a small chuckle as he thought about walking around in the Demeter cabin with no shoes on. Yet, he had this weird sensation cause him to shudder from his feet being on bare ground. What if someone put a rock in the cabin and someone stepped on it? Taking some of his own time to think about what he would change in his cabin. Although he wasn't close to being head counselor, he found this topic difficult to think about. "Maybe add a better filter so all the smoke does seep up into the main room," Blaze said with a shrug of his shoulders.
