Shadow gave a nod of thanks to Echo, yet the words he wanted to voice never reached his vocal cords. Casually, he tossed in another piece of ambrosia before glancing around at each of them. "I'm sorry if I ruined your training," Shadow muttered with a small laugh. Getting a laugh from Shadow in front of a few people was rare. He hardly ever spoke to anyone as is, but this was matter was bigger than his personality.

Blaze gave a shake of his head and his hands. "No more racing," he laughed. He could feel his body was drained from the energy he exerted from his sudden discovery of powers. "Hopefully, the heat is a little helpful in getting me through the rest of the day." If he was going to learn how to control his pyrokinesis then he was going to need to build his endurance more than ever.

Echo gave a shrug, “Doesn’t matter.” She said, crossing her arms, “We have plenty of time to train. But we should get you to the infirmary, though. Just to make sure you actually didn’t hurt yourself.”

Mathias grunted with a hint of stern interest, certainly with how it seemed the other camper seemed close to Echo, or at least always seeming to be near her. He usually did not care about such things, but something about Echo finding interest in Shadow made his nerves flicker. Undoubtedly, he inwardly scoffed, a camper with the powers of one of the Big Three would be more impressive to others than a camper of a lesser God. He pushed the faint feelings away, instead grunting out. "Careful not to destroy your own body with those powers, or the camp. We kind of need that second one, and it would be messy to clean up the first one." |

(Hmmm. I have nearly everyone open! Kyo's still in the Hephaestus cabin, Valen is probably practicing his abilities, Lloyd and Rosaline are open, Sasha as well. You can pick anyone, really!)

Ava left the Hades cabin and had started wandering around the camp, kind of doing her own thing. She remembered Valen saying something about going out to train earlier and started in that general direction, figuring she might as well work on getting some control on her powers.

Valen focused his hands firmly on the collection of remains before him, closing his eyes as he focused on what he wished to control. Necromancy was fickle, and too much or too little could ruin the process. Temporary restoration was easy, but long term restoration was still the hurdle. He tended to keep away from the other campers, knowing that many would find his particular specialty of his father's abilities to be the creepiest and most questionable one. He continued, able to hear the wisping sounds of his dark energy beginning to swirl around the bones of the forest rodent.

Ava finally found Valen and started towards him, staying quiet as she watched him use his abilities on the small bones. Ava knee better than to distract Valen while he was concentrating on something like this, and thought it would be better to wait until he was done. So, the younger girl sat down near him, watching carefully to see how he was doing it. (I think I might change her age. I feel like she should be younger than 17)

Valen could tell that someone was nearby, his dark energy faltering ever so slightly, before he quickly regained it. He took in a breath and exhaled, before opening his eyes. The bones began to form back into place, the skull twitching as it reattached to the vertebrae. After a few moments, the undead creature began to move around, the hollows of the skull gleaming with violet energy, a source of life, in a sense. It looked around, skittering towards Ava.
“I apologize...” Valen murmured. “Were you looking for me, Ava?”

LOL Blazer & Ice I don't disagree that it should not be easy to woo Echo. I can't believe that is the phrase we are using XD)
Tossing out a sigh knowing both Mathias and Echo were correct in needed to check with the infirmary. Although the ambrosia restored some of his strength and energy, the sheer power behind what had taken overcame him was not something to take lightly. Shadow tossed his hands in up defeat, but shook his head with a small smile. "Fine," he grumbled a little. "I hate to ask this, but can someone help me get there?" Sacrificing his pride and ego for the greater good was a huge hit, but he needed to suck it up for once.

Josie gave a soft smile as Shadow apologizes for possibly ruining their training and she shakes her head in reply, waving her hand to brush it off as well. Training was important, but not as important as the well-being of other campers. She glances to Mathias out of the corner of her eyes as she picks up on his tone, quirking a brow in interest but deciding it wasn't her business to pry, at least not yet. Then, her nose scrunches up at the son of Ares' advice, not liking the image of the last thing he said.
At Shadows request for someone to escort him to the infirmary, Josie now looks between Echo and Mathias, who stands beside her. "I could go." She offers with another smile. "Would you mind coming with?" Josie asked Mathias, turning more towards him now. "I'm not sure if I can hold him up by myself if he were to collapse again." The daughter of Zeus admitted with a sheepish smile.

Lifting his hand up for someone to help him up, an urge to deny his request spiked through him, but Shadow knew he wouldn't make it out of the Arena without collapsing. For now, he would rely on what he assumed was friends, maybe not. Could one of them be the traitor? He took a small glance at each one of face's in front of him. He started with Josie, but she seemed almost as disturbed as he was about the news. Mathias was a trickier camper to read, his father's personality was in line with wanting fighting, but his gut told him otherwise. Finally, his eyes stopped on Echo, slowly analyzing all the imperfections on her face. Yet, that was something Shadow liked about her. She didn't try to hide or cover her scars, even more impressive with who her mother was. The bright ice blue color of her eyes captivated him, something no one else could do without a saying a word.
Realization set in rather slowly that he was staring at Echo causing him to turn his head away. No one, not even his father, caused as much anxiousness in Shadow than Echo did. He tilted his head to look up at Josie with a nod of thanks.

However, at his mention of heat she scrunches her face in confusion knowing that she would never understand what that was like. Extreme heat caused her plants to wilt so she tried to avoid it as much as possible, ironic then how she was willingly going to the Forge fully knowing how warm the space was going to be. Silence falls over them for a moment before she speaks up. “Do you feel better, though? After talking to Kyo?” She asks, glancing up to Blaze. |

Josie also seemed to have caught on to Shadow’s staring and she began to feel like the odd one out. Pushing that aside, she moved past Mathias and grabbed Shadow’s hand, grunting as she leans back a bit and gives him a tug in order to help him onto his feet. “Well thanks for making time out of your busy schedule to help out the lowlifes.” Josie quipped at the Ares boy, looking to him with a slight grin before focusing on Shadow to help stabilize him. Now, her expression and tone growing more serious she asks, “Do you think you can walk on your own or will you need to lean on either of us?” “You’re very welcome, I do always try my best to help out the lowlifes.” Mathias countered back with a light scoff, stepping towards Shadow with a casual yet careful approach. He would let Josie help him out as much as possible, and step in if his support was needed. |

Echo stayed quiet, feeling a little awkward as Shadow continued to stare at her. She looked over at Josie and Mathias, “I’m gonna stay here, you two go on ahead.” She said, letting the two take care of Shadow.
