(y'all i went from a 37% in my French class to a 61% lololol) [ hahah congrats! I took french immersion in hs and I s2g I almost failed at the end of the year. Exam somehow pulled me thru  ] |

"Thanks," Megan said lightly, making an attempt to scrub the stickiness off her face. "Y'know, I can't do anything cool like the other Demeter kids can. Like... They can do stuff like make vines grow out of the ground, or talk to plants. I just make fruit ripen and flowers bloom fast. You can't do anything really awesome with that." She shrugged lightly, making a 'Meh' face. "But seriously, though. Your abilities are super awesome. And I mean, your enemies can't exactly fight you if they're asleep, right?" Gage nodded as he handed her the napkin, resting his chin on his other hand. He felt somewhat guilty when she replied to what he said, not meaning to hit any sensitive points, as it was the first time he had spoken to someone in awhile. "Hey, to me it just sounds like you need some more training. Being able to make fruit ripen and flowers bloom is one of the first, but hardest steps to controlling vines or communicating with plants. If you're good enough to do the basics, you're good enough to do the hard stuff too with a lot of practice." He paused for a moment, taking a small pillow feather out from his hair, "Plus you're still apart of some of the younger campers - those who are 18 have two extra years of training on you; don't get too discouraged."
Although what he said sounded a little harsh, he did mean it in the best way. Gage had struggled with his abilities when he first came to camp, and it took a lot of mental training to be where he is today.
"You're not wrong, it is really useful to be able to put your enemies asleep, but that's only if you can reach them before they reach you." His lips turned upward into a smirk, as he stared into her eyes. "That's why I'm considered as a wild card. I need to have enough physical training to attack another half-blood who is probably much more powerful than I am through their physical abilities."

Phoenix gave a few more strikes before she slowed her attack and finally dropped out of her attack stance, giving Finn a nod, “That was good.” She said, sheathing her sword, “If you keep training, maybe you’ll actually be a pretty decent swordsman.” She added, crossing her arms.
Kumiko laughed, “That’s what you get!” She said, looking back at Jacob and sticking her tongue out at him.
Echo sighed, shaking her head, “Even if we told anyone, it would only cause people to start accusing one another.” She said, looking at the others, “The camp would go into complete chaos if that happened.”

[ thank you!! I've definitely lost some of my art skill and I've been really practicing with just using pen. hopefully, I can make my other characters look a little nicer/softer lol. I used to be much better at drawing males ]

[ I can draw cats & flowers too, dogs are a no-go though, can't do floppy ears ]

"Yeah, that does make sense," Megan agreed. "Training is pretty important, after all. But it's ridiculously boring, so... I never go to the extra lessons." She shrugged, hesitating for a second. "Hey, so, uh, I'm sorry that I tried to prank you. I really thought that you were just some poor sap who'd fallen asleep at the table. I didn't know or realise what was really going on." |

“If that’s the fact, then it could quite literally be anyone.” Mathias grunted, glancing at Josie. “I’ve learned over time that anyone and everyone can be capable of causing damage, no matter how kind they seem. So, I can’t narrow it down for you, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we did have a traitor.” Sorry, I know I've technically been online all day, but I have had no motivation to post for the past 12 hours. Today was just a day I could forget) Shadow took a gulp of air, then let out a long breath. Nothing was coming to his mind but the warning. "We're all in danger," Shadow said. "I know that campers already suspect someone let the monsters in, but this information stays between the four of us. We cannot let whomever it is know that we know." Risking the chance that they could apprehend before something else happens was key in Shadow's mind. No one would put others in danger for whatever reason. Shadow's body ached, but he slowly rose to a sitting position. ------------ Blaze looked at Frances with a puzzled face again. "But you don't like being down there?" Blaze countered, his eyebrows rose in a questioning look. "I know the heat takes a toll on you. We really can do something else if you're more comfortable. It's not that you can't come to the Forge, if this were the Bunker then that would be a definitely no. Remember, we hardly let Chiron into Bunker Nine." His statement wasn't false because he could remember a time when his siblings refused to allow the centaur into the Bunker for the sake of the project they were working on. Josie frowns and nods slowly at Mathias, her gaze staying on Shadow as she watches him sit up. Her arms cross over her chest and she begins to feel a little uncomfortable as he warns them not to tell anyone about what they've figured out, and while she's sure there are others around the camp who have though about there being a traitor, the four of them now know for sure. "Yeah, you have my word." She tells the son of Hades, now looking to Mathias as her frown grows. She felt a little sick to her stomach.
Frances shakes her head, smiling still as she holds her hands behind her back. "It'll be fine! It's just a peak so it shouldn't be too bad. I want to see the things you're working on." She tells him, hoping she's not stepping over any boundaries with insisting that they go to the Forge. It's not even that she wants to go so badly, but she knows Blaze likes being down there and given how uncomfortable he was moments ago she wanted to do something that was more within his comfort zone. |

Pierce hadn’t been looking in her direction when she splashed him. “Hey!” He complained with a smile, turning to look at her. He stepped closer and splashed her back. Blayne caught the last few moments of the blush but her mind didn’t quite register what it was. “You’re probs right.” She nodded. “Hopefully they’ll get their butt kicked by it then.” Juniper puts her arms up to cover her face, trying not to get water on her face as he splashes back. She grins and moves closer still, standing right in front of Pierce now with a mischievous smirk on her lips, leaning up on her toes as she brings her face closer to his. Before Pierce can react, whether he was going to meet her halfway or not, Juniper puts her hands on his chest and gives him a playful push, hoping to catch him off guard and make him fall into the water.
Jimmy snorts, having calmed down enough for his complexion to return to normal. "Yeah, hopefully." He says with a smile, bringing his arms up so he can rest the back of his head into his palms as he stares up at the sky. "Kind of a nice day out." Jimmy comments, letting out a slow sigh. |

Maylin Rokkstead - 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 , Icefire15 Before Nakita responded, Maylin had felt the most anxious than she had in quite some time. What if she's too busy to train with me, or thinks I'm too pathetic to do it myself? A few raindrops had fallen as Maylin waited patiently with Claude. Then Nakita happily said she would train with her, she felt shocked, surprised, but grateful.
"Thank you s-so much... it's really appreciated. I don't even know where to start." She felt her cheeks redden, but she looked at Claude and gave him the biggest smile before thanking him as well. She barely knew Claude and hardly spoke to Nakita, but the both of them had been so kind to her.

"Just because the other campers don't care doesn't mean that they'd risk Chiron finding out they didn't even look for me," Emmie said with a shrug.
